The hotel is well situated, just minutes away from the train staition to go downtown. Surprisingly, parking in the street was amazingly easy for Munich. But the hotel itself needs a lot of love. It was reasonably clean, but the room and particularly the bathroom are very small and shabby. The matress was horrible, you were pretty much sleeping on a slope, because the springs were finished on the side of the bed. I would not recommend this hotel.

The sheets and towels were clean and fresh
What I did not like:
1. The majority if staff members are heavy smokers. They congregate in the entrace, smoking, especially on a rainy day. It is impossible to escape the lingering smell of smoking.
2. I was not clear who was in charge, if anyone. The reception was not occupied most of the time.
3. The room was not made up by the end if the day.
4. The pillows are lumpy

My room was fine however I had to keep the window and door open almost the whole time to air out the cigarette smell. If you are next to the Main Street you will hear ambulances and car noises with the door and window closed. Hallways smell like cigarettes BAD. The fridge was not cold at all. Bathroom was incredibly small. Towels had a musty smell to them. Strange people work here and will follow you outside to smoke and watch where you’re going especially the older guy with a beard. Walls are super super super thin. Also there is a lip/gap between the floor in the hallway and the floor in the room. I tried to step out to talk to one of the maids and stubbed my pinky toe so hard, I broke it and completely fell to the ground. I will never ever ever stay here again. Almost the whole time no one is at the desk. I left my key on the desk and walked out.

Incredibly disgusting. Sketchy area. Showed up to my keys being left on the front counter with no one at the desk. Room had mold in the shower, stains on the floors, rotting ceiling, and I slept in my sleeping bag. No one was at the desk to speak with. Refusing a refund so I will have to go after them with civil courts. Do not stay here.

The hotel is quite dated in a lot of its fittings and furnishings. The shower and bathroom are very small. The beds are reasonable in regards to comfort. I will say that the proximity to the rest of the city is very good. 5 minute walk to the S line and within 15 minutes you are in central Munich

Das Hotel war für eine Nacht total in Ordnung! Die Einrichtung ist schlicht das Badezimmer sehr schön und es war alles sauber! In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Harras! Wer ein 5 Sterne exklusiv Erlebnis sucht ist zwar falsch aber es war super zweckdienlich und das Personal super nett! Achtung! Die Tiefgarage ist sehr eng!

Cheap stay for last weekend of Oktoberfest

Three days before departing to the hotel, I made a last-minute request for an extra bed in the room and they were more than accommodating. Good service on the phone.

Checked in a bit late, but staff was there at check-in and was very helpful. Since we were extremely exhausted after our flight in, check-in staff allowed us to get to the room and sign papers the next day.

We were at this hotel for 4 nights, the elevator was broken for the entire time. This was not a problem for us since we were only one floor above ground floor, but there was also no help in getting luggage to our room, so plan for that.

The room was standard in terms of space, clean and in good condition, including furniture, had a TV and free Wi-Fi, everything in the room worked well. Our room also had a minibar, which was very handy for refrigerating medicine and drinks. Anything in the minibar is extra cost. Towels were plentiful, but toiletries were lacking. Had to go downstairs to get hand soap for the bathroom. Toiletries were store-brought brands in large bottles, no conditioner.

Be aware that the lobby check-in service closes after a certain hour and you will be given a second key to enter via a side-door if you arrive later than that. So, I can't stress this enough, if you're checking in late, call the hotel ahead of time to arrange a late check-in. Don't depend on the fact that you left a note on your Expedia reservation, call them (Expedia instructions say that as well in booking details).

No A/C , the day i arrived was very hot and front desk said it is typical in germany because it gets hot only 4-5 days a year. She gave me fan which helps a lot. i have to open window and room is just right on top of front door where people stands there smoking. It takes 4-5 min walk to train station or bus stop. Parking right in front, very convenient. room is small. we has 3 people, hotel just put extra mattress box on the floor, not much room to walk. bed and pillow needs improvement.

Overview about WIFI and breakfast

In our room there was no WIFI connection only through cable which means that if a person doesn't have a laptop with itself, a person should go to the reception and connect to WIFI there and moreover a person will need to pay 3.50€ per 24 hours, overall it could be fine unless that WIFI wouldn't be reconnecting every two minutes and asking for paswords again and again.
A breakfast costs 8€ which is average price for breakfast in hotels but there was almost nothing to eat, musli was so tough that even young person will have difficulties to chew it and to get a juice you will need to ask for a glass and for coffee you will need to keep calling server woman/man as it is not even waitress , those type of services shouldn't be based on worker which is only responsible for serving food in the beginning and taking away dishes in the end other way you will need to keep disturbing her to get what you want.

Most of the staff were very nice, others were less friendly. Rooms were decent size, but bathrooms were small, and our sink and shower took a long time to drain. Breakfast was affordable in the morning but the bread was freshly baked so that was nice. We had to pay for internet which did not work in our room so we could only use it in the hotel lobby. The hotel is also not as close to the city center as I would have liked, though it was close to a train station and buses which was helpful. I would probably stay in a different hotel if I went back.

my husband and i stayed overnight just one night while in Munich for a musical concert. clean and comfortable room, pretty view of buildings, church and sky. easy to get a taxi to different parts of town. only small complaint is the bathroom mirror lights did not work when i needed to put on my makeup. :) also, wish internet wifi had been included. otherwise, comfortable and clean and very nice staff.

- Clean, neat and tidy
- Room is very comfortable
- Bathroom is very clean
- Girl at the reception on our arrival was very helpful and friendly.
- There is a pizza place and a Greek restaurant nearby. A gas station/convenience store is also within walking distance from the hotel.
- Hotel is located within 5 minutes walking distance from the train station (s-bahn).
- It takes 12 minutes to reach the main station on a direct connection.

Cons:
- Direct train #S7 from the Haupt-Bahnof(main station) stop operating after 9:00pm. Alternate route to the hotel from the main station would be taking a train to Heimeranplatz with a connection to Mittersendling.
- No air conditioning in the room
- No wifi in the room. Wifi is available in the lobby for a fee.

Perfect for Oktoberfest + kind staff

Quite honestly the hotel was average, however the proximity to Oktoberfest and the staff made it superb. The day I arrived and logged into Wifi I got horrible news from home that a very close friend had been killed by a drunk driver. Marina (not sure of how to spell her name) was BEYOND accommodating. She caring, helpful and her kindness made being so far away from home feel a little more bearable. In honor of my friend we stayed and attended the festival for 2 days. Its about a 30 minute walk or a 7 euro cab drive to get there. You can also take the S-Bahn or U-Bahn although we didn't. Marina even offered to walk us to the station as it was dark and we didn't know where to go. If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to Oktoberfest with amazingly kind staff than this is the place for you. I do not have enough kind words to say about Marina as she truly went above and beyond.

Ok, but I won't be going back

I was incredibly disappointing to find that the hotel did not have internet, particularly since the description very clearly indicated that the hotel did. Considering this was a business trip, I found it very frustrating to have to walk about 1km to find a T-mobile hotspot where I paid 5 euros for the internet. The hotel is reasonably convenient to transportation and the people were friendly enough. I'm not going back here and would not recommend this to any other travelers - particularly when there are so many other great hotels in Munich.

Comfortabele kamers. Centrum München goed te bereiken met S-bahn. Wel verouderd, maar werd ook vebouwd ten tijde van ons verblijf. Dus dat zal veranderen. Door verbouwing onveilige situaties. Enorme stukken glas boven de ingang die loshingen en naar beneden dreigden te vallen. Kamer niet goed schoongemaakt. Schoonmaak ook alleen op verzoek. Evengoed een prettig verblijf gehad.

Die Rezeption war weder bei unserer Ankunft noch den Rest unseres Aufenthaltes besetzt. Die Eingangstüre zum Hotel war auch nachts nicht abgeschossen, das ist grob fahrlässig, jeder Fremde konnte ins Hotel, da die Rezeption nie besetzt war.
Das Zimmer war sehr schmutzig (der Dreck klebte an den Wänden), die Einrichtung herunter gewirtschaftet, die Bettwäsche total vergilbt, die Lampe im Gang funktionierte nicht, sodass wir uns im Dunkeln aufhalten mussten.
Das Frühstück war mehr als dürftig, 3 Sorten Wurst, 2 Sorten Käse, das wars. Keine Früchte oder Gemüse.
Beim Check-Out war dann endlich jemand an der Reception, auch etwas unfreundlich.

Lage ist ok, nicht weit zur S-Bahn, so dass man schnell im Stadtzentrum ist. Hotelausstattung einfach durchschnittlich. Das Bad hatte eine niedrige Decke, also sollte man nicht zu gross sein, sonst wird das mit dem Duschen sehr unbequem.

Wir waren eine Nacht in diesem Hotel. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte. Personal sehr freundlich! Wir kamen sehr knapp zum Frühstück und durften sogar 15min länger frühstücken - sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Lage gut - mit der S-Bahn in 10min im Zentrum, Aussenparkplätze inkl., wir würden beim nächsten Besuch wieder in dieses Hotel gehen.
