When I arrived early, the friendly staff greeted me and I was given a room within minutes. The room was beautifully set up and sparkling clean. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with various options of hot and cold foods. Meat, eggs, German bread and Brötchen along with cheeses were laid out nicely. There were fruits, vegetables, cereals, coffee, tea, juices...the works!

The bar is cozy, the gym and sauna are clean. The hotel is next to public transportation and the area is safe and walkable.

Very nice hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious. A bonus is the hotel is close to a small local Christmas market when I was there but also just close to a lot of shopping and easy transportation to get around. Breakfast was great as well! I can’t wait to visit again and I would definitely stay here again.

The water in the hotel was out 3 days in a row. Couldn't shower. The room staff wasn't great. They forgot to replenish coffee, glasses, water, etc.
The front desk was not helpful with the water situation and there was no compensation for this problem.

This was my first time ever in Germany and staying at K + K Hotel was exceptional! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were designed very well and the breakfast was amazing! I loved the small bar area as well. I loved that there were so many choices of restaurants and cafes so close by. If I’m ever back in Germany again, I would stay here.

Second rate hotel, certainly not a 4*!
Far from downtown, making the center hard to reach with Munich's unreliable transit system.
Reception staff not always friendly.
Only 1 English channel on the TV, and it's MTV, I'm not a teenager anymore.
After I had an argument with a receptionist, he lied and noted in my record that I'd been smoking in the room, so the hotel could rob me of €150.
Would never stay here again.

My only feedback would be that we booked a double room and got a twin, with the beds right next to each other. It was ok, but not quite the same as a double bed. Perhaps these rooms should not be sold as doubles.

Good central location. Very close to public transit stops.

Having a fridge and microwave in the room is pretty basic in north America so I did not check that the room did not have it and was surprised to not have it in the room. Reception did offer us to use the microwave in their kitchen which was nice.

I definitely forgot a sweater which was a special gift, called them same day to inform about it but they said it was not found... didn't expect that in an honorable country such as Germany, in a city like Munich.

We have stayed before, but in the past year the condition had gone down. The air conditioner didnt really work. Although we asked to have it checked, the room was hot and humid. Also, the bathroom had a bit of mold on the shower.

This was my second visit to this hotel due to my previous experience and this year certainly lived up to expectations.
My room was located at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden which was a nice view in the mornings.
The room was spacious with ample storage, had comfortable furnishings and was kept in top condition by the housekeeping staff.
All the staff from reception to housekeeping were polite, friendly and thoroughly professional.
A special mention to the breakfast staff who were kept busy but despite this were always polite and friendly and ensured there was always enough food available.
This hotel is situated just a short underground or bus trip from the city centre and public transport is literally right on the doorstep.

I just stayed at this property for a week. It's a bit removed from the main tourist sites, but is very close to both a train and subway station, so they are easily accessible by public transportation. The daily breakfast was very good and offered a variety of options. My one complaint is that my room was too warm, so I kept the window open, but there was almost constant street noise. It have been nice to get the AC to a lower temperature. But that is really a minor issue; overall, I really enjoyed my stay there.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The young lady at check in was so friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was a very good size and so clean! They even upgraded our room which was a massive bonus so thank you for that. Breakfast was great as well. Loads of choice and all very tasty and fresh. The staff were great replacing items that run out and clearing tables quickly.

The hotel is in a great location too. 30 second walk from the U bahn and only a few stops from the main shopping area. There's also some good shops nearby for any bits you need. Quiet location too

We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Munich.

The hotel staff was friendly, the room was perfect for 2 people and beds comfy, room clean. Located literally right next to the train station for the U bahn and S bahn, so it was super easy to get around. We went for Oktoberfest and it was a perfect spot to stay for it, only a couple stop ride to the city center. There are restaurants and places for food next door and a DM shop to pick up essentials down the street. I would definitely stay here again!!

We stayed here for Oktoberfest and had a great stay. The location was perfect-close to the S & U tram stations and walking distance to Oktoberfest. The rooms were nice but could use some updates- there were marks all over the walls & no fridge in our room, also would be nice to have separate shampoo, conditioner & body wash instead of one for everything. The breakfast was wonderful!! I'd stay here again when traveling to Munich.

Location and comfort, minor flaws to watch out for

I stayed here seven years ago and booked again under the basis of proximity to the metro and its comfort. It was good and I will stay again, but two things I did not appreciate:

The price for breakfast is different depending who you ask and where. I've seen quotes from 16 to 24€, they need to get on the same page or it's just a scam. It's 16€ at the property btw, make sure you're not getting overcharged.

I also saw a couple try to get some coffee and get turned away because they didn't order full breakfast and coffee was only for breakfast purchasers -- I'm sorry, what? I think when you market yourself as a 3- or 4- star hotel you can afford to give your customers some coffee for the money they spend. Bad look.

The hotel is slightly far out of the central Munich area in a quiet suburban apartment district. The room was perfectly fine for one night, even if the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The condition of the room could be improved - basic furnishings, some damage to the walls, hastily repaired. Would not have enjoyed for a second night.

The room itself was alright but it was not clear that breakfast was not actually included. They mentioned the time for breakfast but not the price (18 eur per person) and asked for our room number when we entered the dining area but no mention of the price at that point either. The breakfast was extremely overpriced for what it was and the price only became apparently as a surprise during check out. The fine print regarding this on their page on hotels.com that is easy to miss.

Very friendly staff! Room was clean and very convenient location being next to the U6 line.

Cons:
Breakfast is ~18 euro per day. It was not clear when ordering the room.
I asked for a Queen bed which ended up being two twin beds placed together. Leaving an uncomfortable gap in the middle.

The K KHotel, Harras, was an ideal place to stay, being only 4stops away from Munich centre on that subway, meant I could have some tranquil time outside beautiful Munich city and be only 15 mins away when visiting. The hotel is very easy to get to using public transport and I was made to feel very welcome by the receptionist who checked me in. The hotel is nice and quiet, despite the main road out front and the breakfast buffet is substantial and varied. My only complaint: I did notice the hot water was occasionally not available but being May I didn’t suffer too much and the outages didn’t last long. Otherwise, a pretty faultless stay.

Stayed in the k k for 5 nights between Xmas and New Year. Had an enjoyable stay at the hotel the room was very comfortable , had booked the breakfast which we found to be reasonable value and there was certainly plenty choice for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially at breakfast. It is a bit out from the centre but very easy to catch metro into centre you can also walk which takes about 50 minutes . There isn’t a huge amount of restaurants around that area but we found a decent Greek one also a couple of Bavarian ones which were quite good.
