My main complaint, shared by the others in our group, no AC in the month of September during Oktoberfest. They intentionally turn it off. It was hot and uncomfortable and we were told to just open the window. Which did not help, but made it extremely noisy in the room with parting outside and night and street noise at daylight.

The staff at check in were nice, the breakfast good, the rooms large and comfortable if it not so warm. Train station close. Price reasonable.

I would not stay here again, because I can not sleep when it’s hot in the room. My only filters are WI-FI and temperature control. They should change to advertising only Summer temperature control.

Rooms were hot and I was told air conditioning was turned off for this time off year. Was told to open window which meant staying awake until drunken crowds below and around building left around 2-3 am. Clean and most staff cheerful but even then often attitude was take it or leave it

It was satisfactory even though there was only 2 pillows on the bed. The housekeeping barged into the room advising checkout was at 12, 2 hours early…we were still in the bed reading. Lobby area was very nice, checkin staff was very nice. However, one overnight staff acted like he was put out when we asked for a drink from the bar…only 1 person working the lobby and bar. We were the only 2 people in the bar area. Other than that is was adequate.

The hotel is outside from the Subway U-Westendstraße in a very quiet zone. Near 5 min by car (or 3 subway stations) from main Train station Munchen HBF. 5 stations from city center. The room was clean, the shower is not small and works very well. The reception service was nice in spite of our late check-in (2am).

Avoid - A building Site.

Really disappointing

The hotel was a building site - According to Hotels.com the building works was meant to finish in Sept. so you would expect this to be pristine in Dec. However I was very upset this was not the case on my arrival.
A very disappointing stay, The reception and lift access was so dangerous, tools materials and builders working away - Dust and noise all day.

We loved the simple ness of the room. Comfy bed with duvet, great shower. Quiet and the bar, with snacks, is open 24 hours a day. Great breakfast available too. Close to the U train service and 55 minutes from the airport via the S Train Service.

Overall nothing impressive here. A basic room and shower. No safe in the room. Free wifi was a bit slow. But was quiet enough and had easy access to the U bahn to get to Oktoberfest.

When using luggage storage be cautious and lock you bag! One of my shoes was tucked into a side pocket of my bag and when I went to reclaim my luggage it was missing. Staff was unapologetic about this which was very annoying.

Great value. Right next to a U-bahn subway station, short distance to city center. 15 min walk to another S-bahn train station. Convenient and safe location. Very clean and friendly staffs. Room is a little small but why need all that space with a great price. Highly recommended.

Basic hotel and rooms (no safe, mini-bar or tea/coffee). Too noisy for good sleep, with petrol service station on one side and people chatting underneath the windows until 3am. Construction site next door starting jack hammering at 7am each day (except Sunday). The room was warm, as heating only, and couldn't open windows due to the noise. Hotel located next to u-bahn station. Not many shops, restuarants, or cafes around - think this is mostly a business hotel. Room kept clean and tidy. Bed ok, just. Curtains kept light out. No in-room service, but hotel bar in lobby is open 24 hours. Free wifi good for browsing, but not much else.

This hotel was within our price range and was right on a city line. Upon further touring of the city, actually found that it was a decent neighborhood. It is a bit loud from the street but shut window and it was fine. They were even able to easily extend our nights at the hotel and keep our same room. Only negative was that we decided to come back to the hotel bar for one last drink and we sat at the bar for at least 10 minutes without service. There is also a conviencestore/gas station next door for water andorning pastries/

The hotel's staff is great. They are very patient, professional and caring. Lidl supermarket is not far. We have access to several tram stops, bus trops and U5, U7 Metro. Summer's very beautiful in that area. EVen though some rooms are small, we have all the necessary things for our comfort.

Hairy Room with black spots

Our room was dirty. We had hairs in the sink and he shower what is not to bad. You can wash it down. But the hairs in the sheets and the pillow and the black spots that covered our blanket was not okey. We checked in at 12.30 am and shortly afterwards complaint about the room, but the front desk was had no idea what to do. I asked for a new room but that request was denied because the hotel was booked. We just slept on top of that blanket and the sheet, After a night of bad sleep and itchy felling in the morning we complaint again and asked for a different room. The front desk did not care and stated that the room was payed for 2 nights and if we don't like it we can check out. My wife and I both decided to go somewhere else and not stay in that filthy bed another night.

Stayed 2 nights for Octoberfest.Priced marked up for the festival. Metro station across the street. Not much to do around the hotel, but easy to catch the Metro and go to downtown area. Rooms clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that the bathroom is like a round plastic add on in the room. Had a Squeaky door to go in and out, wakes you up at night and not very sound proof....

Ideal, cheaper hotel with good city centre access

We weren't expecting luxury - we'd deliberately booked a cheaper hotel as we knew that we'd be spending little time in the room whilst there on a 2 day mini break to visit the Christmas markets. As our flight arrived late and we'd be arriving at the hotel after midnight, I emailed to check that 24/7 check in was available when booking. Check-in was easy - I suspect we were the only people due to arrive at that time.

The room was a reasonable size, with a comfortable bed (complete with mattress topper), decent walk-in shower and a TV. Blackout blinds ensured the room was very dark at night. Wi-fi was free - my girlfriend's phone struggled to connect, but mine was fine. Breakfast was not included in our room rate, but was a reasonable cost. There was a fair choice of items in the buffet and the breakfast room was quite busy.

Our room was on the top floor, at the rear. Other reviews suggested this was quieter than the front rooms facing the main road. There was some noise from the nearby stairwell, but this wasn't a problem.

I would book this hotel again (unless I was looking for somewhere more luxurious and expensive as a treat.)

Reasonable conditions for a reasonable price. Good location with convenient access to subway and freeway, rooms are on small size with a private bathroom w/ shower. Rooms have limited closet space, no coffee makers, refrigerator or iron boards. Hotel restaurant have limited menu options but reasonable priced. Personnel is supportive and helpful. Wifi available throughout hotel. Overall, don't expect to much, basic hotel at a reasonable price, good choice if you need a place to crash.

A great hotel overall, with good amenities (Xbox 360 in the lobby with a soccer game, kid's playtoys near front door, clean, spacious room, large bathtub, ample free parking, free WiFi, yoyos for the kids when we checked in). There were only a few minor annoyances that kept this from being a five star review: 1) We arrived at 22:00 and had to wait nearly fifteen minutes at the front desk for anyone to show up and check us in 2) The WiFi signal was strong in parts of the hotel room, but completely dropped out in other parts of the same hotel room 3) fold out couch was old and had lots of metal parts that we kept hitting.

This hotel is right next to the metro, which helped with all travels. The staff were polite & friendly. The layout was typical Ibis hotel, however one of our twin beds had a mind of its own & turned out to be quite uncomfortable! The breakfast was decent & good. In general it is a business area so if you want more character then you might want to consider other options.

Typical ibis, recommended

This is a typical ibis hotel, meaning clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast and not much more. The hotel offers wi-fi in the room for a fee but is free in the lobby. Parking is a fee as well, but reasonably priced. There is an U-Bahn station in front connecting you to the city. Not much walking distance from the hotel, but ibis is a great hotel for simply sleeping and not staying at the hotel. If you are considering this hotel for the Oktoberfest, it is further from the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) on the U Bahn from the Wiesn station, meaning you are not traveling with the majority of people, which is very convenient.

Used the hotel for Oktoberfest and it was perfect. The train station is right next to the hotel and it took about 10-15 mins to get to the fairgrounds. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean! Breakfeast was nice.

Top Lage, direkt an der U-Bahn, nur 5 Minuten bis in die Innenstadt. Tiefgarage geräumig und mit ausreichend Ladeplätzen (man braucht die Wireload-App), mit 18€ ist der Preis okay. Das Hotel ist für ein Ibis toll eingerichtet. Die Lobby ist sehr groß und ansprechend gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind mit Wandfarben und ein bisschen Deko viel ansprechender, als ich es von Ibis gewöhnt war. Alles sauber, die Betten sehr komfortabel und die Mitarbeiter:innen sehr herzlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
