I suppose the cost we paid was to reflect the proximity to Oktoberfest. The hotel itself is older with older carpet in the halls and rooms. No a/c, which thankfully we had a room that had terrace doors for airflow.

The staff was impeccable! Michael especially deserves recognition. He seemed to always be there and was so courteous and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was also a great bonus with a nice variety of pastries, meat cheese coffee and tea. Along with yogurt and all the fixings.

Our room was clean, staff were friendly, located near lots of amenities (restaurants, metro, shopping), very safe and walkable area.

Not a far walk from old town or the central train station. Metro stop was close and took you to all the places you’d want to go in Munich easily!

The hotel as conveniently located not far from the train station or Marienplatz. The breakfast was generous and tasty. Our room was small for four people. The bathroom was awkward with a very small shower and not enough shelves or towel racks for four people. It would have been fine for two. The room also did not have very good ventilation or air conditioning. It was hot when we were there and the room was very stuffy.

We chose this hotel because it’s close to the train terminal which was convenient. Breakfast is good and reasonably priced. The hotel itself needs some attention and renovations. Carpets are old and dirty. Rooms are humid. Underground parking is available but has limited capacity.

Good location but poorly designed

A quick check in. The layout of the hotel is strange. To get to reception you have to carry your suitcases up a flight of stairs and then to get to room you have carry them up some more stairs, pass the dining room, and then down another set of stairs!! Not very user friendly

The hotel is in a good location not far from the Octoberfest grounds. It is also a 20-25 minute walk from the center of Munich. There are lots of steps to go through in this property which is a negative, but overall the room was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend this property and stay here again!

Pros: Front desk staff and cleaning staff friendly. Rooms had everything you need for an enjoyable stay including hair dryer, mini fridge, wardrobe for clothes and shoes, tv, desk and chairs. Hotel in short walking distance to main train station, city centre, grocery store and restaurants.

Cons: Accessibility: There are numerous steps from the front door to the reception that make it difficult with a stroller and luggage. There are 2 more additional series of a few steps on the first floor. Once checked in, guests can use the back door near the elevator and driveway to parking lot for easy access with a stroller.

It is highly recommended that front desk staff offer to meet guests with children or with other accessibility needs at the front door and escort them to their rooms from the other entrance before check-in.

Hotel staff were fsntastic. Noting that it was 29 degrees outside and there was no air conditioning so our room was very hot during our stay which made it difficult to sleep. The location of the hotel is great because it close to many restaurants and the main train station.

Had a pleasant stay in Munich!

**Room:** Spacious enough for two people with large luggage, comfy beds, and although decorated in an old style, it was impeccably clean – a solid 5-star for cleanliness. The occasional church clock chime in the afternoon added charm without disrupting our sleep at night.

**Location:** Situated across from the beautiful St. Paul Church, and conveniently just a few steps from the U-Bahn metro station. The tram is also within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city.

**Staff:** The staff was friendly, although their advice on nearby areas was somewhat limited.

**Note:** Be prepared for the challenge of navigating numerous stairs from the front door to the elevator, especially if you have large luggage. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few quirks.

Very clean and spacious room for 4, with a balcony! Good location within easy walking to the Altstadt and Hauptbahnhof, and plenty of food options close by. Amazing breakfast with great variety. Very attentive and friendly staff. They let us park early before check in with no questions asked. Only item to improve was the shower which didn’t drain. But otherwise highly recommended.

Stay was great. Had most of everything you needed. Could have done with bigger pillows, or extra. They were very small. Quite a walk into the old town which did not bother us, but others may feel it’s not the best location if you need to keep going back to room. Great value for money however.

Nice location very the Central Train Station and about 20 minutes walk from the Munich Rathaus Glockenspiel. The room was clean and comfortable for a solo traveller. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly. My delayed flight arrived into Munich later than front desk hours. I called the hotel from the airport and she waited until I arrived. She was very pleasant and gave great customer service.

Good to be in a practical location, quiet, comfortable bed, big windows, friendly staff and reassuringly modern lift.
Shame the bathroom is the original 60s version, tissues were never restocked over 4 nights and there are lots of up and down steps before your ever reach the lift at the very back of the long hotel.

Like-dislike, but more dislikes I guess

The staff is very nice and friendly but the owner should start renovating the place very soon. The room has a stale smell as soon as you walk in. You wouldn't want to walk barefoot on the carpet. The safe doesn't work. Everything feels like they barely survive the cold war. If you have a heavy suitcase, please beware that you have to lug your suitcase up and down at least 3-4 staircases before you can get to the elevator.
The location is pretty decent though. It's a safe walking distance from the rowdy area of Munich train station, and just half a block away from an UBahn station.
If you just simply need a bed to crash at night for cheap, then this place serves just that.

It‘s located 25 min from the Marienplatz on foot. We knew in advance that the elevator is accessible directly from the back door, so we didn’t move our large luggage up the stairs to the reception. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us with the luggage. The room is a bit dated in condition but was clean and tidy and spacious. There was no electric kettle in the room but you can get one from the reception. Be reminded that the reception and the front door closes at 10pm in night. The breakfast is very good with wide variety of ham choices. I think the rate matches the quality and service!

Disappointed to find that our request for lower floor rooms was not forthcoming. However, the staff re-roomed us on day 2. The room which two of us occupied on floor 1, did not have any complimentary toiletries. No tea/coffee making facilities. No hot breakfast available but a lightly boiled egg was given when requested. However, our stay was enjoyable, the rooms were warm and all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Central location (10 mins to station) and good weather helped.

Had to stop for 1 night in Munich while travelling. This hotel is functional and central. It is only a few hundred meters away from the main train station which is convenient if using trains. The building is a bit old but quite well kept. It's a functional hotel - some stairs at the entrance can be avoided by using a side entrance at street level which takes you directly to a lift. Although ancient, this lift serves its purpose! The room ww had for 3 people was ok for 1 night. It happened to be a hot day so an air conditioner would have been nice, however a portable fan was provided. Some air from the adjoining terrace made for a pleasant night's sleep. Although compact, the room was comfortable, had a mini bar and good bathroom. Breakfast was fine - nothing spectacular but enough to kick off the day. With some attention and refurbishing, this hotel could be a great place to spend a few nights.

Good central location near train & transit (10 minute walk) & about 20 minutes or so walk to old town. But prepare to choose between an open window to allow some air flow (no AC) & lots of noise through the night. With the window closed, ear plugs block most noise, but you will be hot. Good feather pillows. Breakfast is good, and you can grab a few things for lunch as well.

FYI if you book online with American Express, you cannot use an American Express while checking in at the hotel... or can you? After finding a new hotel to stay at, the owner threatened to charge our card regardless if we didn't stay, but could not use it at the time of checkout? I would have much rather saved the trouble of finding and booking a new hotel in Munich for Oktoberfest, it was insanely expensive and my only option given the situation.

Hotel in buona posizione, vicino la stazione centrale, collegata molto bene con centro, aeroporto e terme di Erding. Camera basica ma per un weekend è un'ottima soluzione considerando qualità-prezzo.

Muitas escadas, realmente, no check in e no check out mas plenamente contornável se usarmos a porta perto da entrada da garagem e dai direto ao elevador evitando as escadas. Café da manhã muito pobre pelo preço cobrado. Limpeza do quarto e troca de toalhas quase inexistente, inclusive, no ultimo dia não houve arrumação e sequer reposição de papel higiênico. Enfim, embora o hotel seja barato e bem localizado não voltaria a me hospedar nele.

Skønt hotel der ligger virkelig centralt i Munchen. Nemt at gå over gaden og tage U-bahn rundt i byen.
Underjordisk parkering gjorde det nemt at komme af med bilen mens vi boede der.
Morgenmaden er dejlig.

The hotel was as expected. Service was good and the staff (especially at the reception) very friendly. However, the hotel is not very baby stroller friendly. They have back door next to the elevator to go in and out, but we needed to carry the stroller several stairs every day to have the breakfast. The same to access the reception. The church bell \"show\" every morning at 8AM was also a bit annoying.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, Familär, sehr gute Lage,direkt an der U Bahn Theresienwiese. Auch schnell zu Fuß zum Hauptbahnhof. Mängel, eine Kleinigkeit,wurde sofort behoben. Gutes Frühstück. Waren 5 Nächte hier,würden immer wieder hier hin kommen.
Sind mit dem Flugzeug vom FMO gekomnen. Im Vorfeld, Lufthansashuttle hin und zurück gebucht. Sehr guter Service. Hielt direkt am Ausgang vom Flughafen, fuhren dann bis zum Bahnhof München. Zurück vom Bahnhof,bis direkt vorm Eingang vom Checkin. Würden wir immer wieder so machen. LG

Auf dem relativ langen Weg von der Rezeption zum Lift gibt es leider einige Treppenstufen.
Geräumiges Zimmer und eins der wenigen Hotelzimmer, welches neben dem Schreibtischstuhl zwei weitere Sessel hat.
Bequemes Bett, sauberes Bad.
