It’s my second time staying at Hotel Munich Deluxe (both times in the annex). It seems like they have an issue with their ventilation or plumbing. There’s a sewage smell coming from the bathroom, and the longer the ventilation runs, the worse the odor gets. This happened to me on both stays. You also can’t turn the ventilation off, as it switches on automatically with the light. As a woman getting ready in the bathroom, the smell honestly is disturbing.

Other than that, the hotel is okay. The room design is nice and the location close to the city center is very convenient.

The bed was fine but not enough pillows. The air conditioning did not cool the room.
There wasn't a kettle or cups, when we went to the lobby bar for hot water, i had to fill the kettle and do it myself, nobody was there.
Internet and breakfast, both were excellent.
We would give it a 7.5 out of 10. Worth the money.

Avoid, not worth it

Extremely small room, room was smelly, I had to keep the window open for 1+ hour to be able to breathe, the heater's fans were stuck on max and reception told they didn't know what to do.
The noise was so loud that was impossible to sleep.
I had to turn off the electricity of the room to be able to sleep.

The smallest single room I’ve ever been in, but still there were everything I needed! So this was perfect for a person who don’t need more than a place to sleep.

Had a couple small issues in the room that I got: one of the bed lamps have been broken off and just set back into place; the water in the shower would jump around in temperature, going from comfortable to cold to very hot in the space of around 30 seconds

We booked this hotel last minute for Adele. It was walkable from central station and also for FlixBus location and had easy links to get tram and train into centre - you could walk in 30 mins as well. It’s just a couple of mins from Oktoberfest. The room itself was fine, rather small with just a bed and clothes storage, tv and small fridge, served the purpose of a base for sleeping. Patio doors opened onto courtyard. Area around felt safe with an Italian restaurant opposite with the biggest pizza I’ve ever had!

Room was a bit small, but very tidy. Loved the modern feel, especially the bathroom. The balcony was great! Only con: the AC leaked water during the night and made a big puddle of water on the floor soaking one of our backpacks. But sometimes these things happen and can’t be helped.

Avoid the single rooms

Single rooms are tiny. The description may say 10 sqm, but it ignores the pitched roof, so half the floor space you can't stand. Aircon was very poor. Overall the room is VERY basic and not cheap at this price. Breakfast average.

You get what you pay for. But overall, this is a decent hotel to spend a few days. However, the room is very small, without a table (as previous reviews mentioned). Lots of dust on every surface. Daily cleaning isn't done properly. Included breakfast is good.

Disappointing hotel, especially for the price

We chose the Munich Deluxe Hotel as the rooms are air conditioned (supposedly); breakfast is included and it is close to the train station.
On the positive side, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, (best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had), and the room was very quiet. The gentleman who ran the breakfast room was excellent and gave outstanding service. He was quick to respond to any request.

We put the key card in the wall, turned on the air and expected it to cool down, which never happened. The air conditioning appeared not to be working. Also the mini-fridge was broken, the towels were like sand paper and the vent in the shower did not appear to work so the bathroom stayed hot and humid after a shower. Also, we put a towel down in the shower as the tile floor was quite slippery. The room has a german modern Ikea look with no pictures on the wall and was not very functional. There was only one suitcase rack and we had to open the other ones on the floor. More shelving space would have been helpful along with more hooks. Also, the ice machine was broken.
Some people at the front desk were helpful, others were not. The room (105) looked out on a charming courtyard and we enjoyed having breakfast in the courtyard. We stayed there two nights but cancelled a future reservation and are going to try a different hotel when we return to Munich. All in all our stay was quite disappointing and the hotel did not deliver what they advertised.

This hotel was better than expected. It’s a 15 minute walk from the central train station in Munich. The breakfast was lovely with a selection of sausages, eggs(scrambled and boiled), bacon, crusty bread rolls, amazing pretzels, cheeses, meats, fruit and cereal.

The room was small but lovely with an amazingly comfortable bed and good shower. Would definitely stay here again. The staff were helpful and lovely.

The hotel is very close to the Munich ZOB and also the Theresienwiese U-bahn stop. We stayed for one night because we had an early-morning appointment in Munich, and we were arriving/departing via FlixBus and also needed access to the subway. I will gladly stay there again and for longer given we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms and the breakfast.

We had to cancel our trip to Munich due to a health emergency 28 days before arrival. We understood that there was a no refund policy 30 days prior to stays. We called the hotel hoping for consideration but, of course, they upheld their policy. In lieu of a refund we asked for a date change to be arranged once our health crisis had passed. The woman receptionist said that was possible if done timely. She was thanked and told we would call back once we knew when we could travel.
In a last effort to possibly get an actual refund we contacted Expedia to assist. A gentleman representative also called the hotel and was given the same options. We were told we would need to rebook by 72 hours before the planned arrival date. Expedia sent me a copy of the transcript of our conversation.
Within the allotted time we attempted to reschedule and a penalty equal to the original charged amount imposed. Again, we reached out to Expedia for help. We explained the previous call and asked her to check the written history of the call. She did contact the hotel and was told that we had called already and were told that we could not rebook. That did not happen. It was clear by her tone that the Expedia representative supported what was being said by the hotel. I sent a copy of the transcript to both the hotel and Expedia with no response.

I really wasn’t expecting much from the appearance outside the building but was pleasantly surprised. Modern clean excellent breakfast across from a nice shopping mall walkable to train station nice staff close to Oktoberfest. Only negative was the air conditioning is kinda lukewarm air that blows, not cools, and shuts off when not there because key not in the wall electricity socket.

This hotel was surprisingly good. Cons, staff aren't that pleasant, but sometimes in Europe, I think English is the main issue. Pros, reasonably priced, clean, good area, close to the train station and walking distance to Old Munich, and the breakfast was way above what I expected. The room is tiny, but it was only me and my wife, so we managed. I definitely would stay again.

The hotel's first impression was not good as the check-in counter/reception is not where the rooms are located. Both the check-in counter/reception and breakfast buffet was located in the associated hotel in the next door building. Not convenient and cosy especially during the snow and in winter.

Bed is comfortable but the rooms are tiny, only enough to open one luggage and one cabin luggage. Also, it is probably not the best choice if you are travelling with a lot of luggage especially during the winter and snow. I travelled with an elderly companion so we took a taxi on the way there costing €12 and on the way back to the Munich central station using an uber for €12.50. WiFi connection was fast.

The quality of buffet was average, but comes with hot food and plenty of bread and cheese and cured meats.

Hits and misses. Loves the location which is pretty central, just opposite a huge mall, tram, U Bahn and S Bahn. It's walking distance to Munich Central Station if you don't have to drag a huge luggage. Love the huge TV with Netflix / Amazon Primes etc. included, Ginseng Body / Hair wash, and spacious shower. But, therein lies the problem... Too much space is wasted in the shower resulting in the main room being extremely small to the extend that there is no work table. The toilet can at least be reduced by a quarter for the room to be bigger.

The room was 9x9 and there was 24 inch from bed to wall. No place for our one suit case. We put it in the shower My two carry ons were propped up against the door. the only closet were built-ins next to headboard two hangers The built-ins were the size of narrow bookshelves. This was to be used for closet? The tiny size was not disclosed before we rented the property . Deluxe sounds spacious

Loved the big screen, however there were only two pillows so was difficult to prop up to watch TV Loved the A/C

Şehrin güzel bir yerin de sayılır. Fakat odalar inanılmaz küçük odalarda kattle yok bir çay veya kahve bile koymamışlar odada iki kişi yanyana bile geçemiyor . Bir daha gelsem kalmam biraz daha iyi bir otel bakın. Bir avantajı var tren istayonuna 1 km yürüyerektw gidiliyor fakat geçtiğini yollar ve çevre iyi değil.
