The room climate was very cold, it would have been nice to have instructions to adjust the thermostat. The room was lovely and well equipped with anything I might need. Although, it would have been nice to have coffee equipped in the room and a luggage stand. The staff was very kind and attentive.

The sauna was unique.

But the important part is that is was close to the Oktoberfest site without being too near the masses, which made it nice to have a place to put our heads without hearing people late at night.

The staff was good, and it answered any questions we had about the area.

Everything was good, but the AC (which we did not use and was off for the whole stay, located above the entrance to our room) was leaking. It was not a huge deal, but it looked very dirty and almost broken. I was dripped on a few times going in and out of the room. Had to clean up a small puddle with a towel. Seemed to stop after the first day.

Lovely hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel Laim. The staff were very helpful and did their very best to assist. The hotel was lovely and clean and the maid kept our room spick and span.
We had breakfast each day and although it was a little expensive at 21 Euro each, we felt that it was worth it with the vast selection available.
With regard to the location, the hotel was away from the city centre (15 minute taxi ride), but it did have a U-Bahn station on the doorstep which allowed very easy access to the sights.
We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich.

This hotel was perfect for visiting Munich. We were able to park on the street with no problem. The subway entrance is on the corner and we were in downtown Munich in less than 15 minutes. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very pleasant and helpful

One entry to U5 subway/underground train station is just in front of the hotel. So it is easy and fast to reach central train station, Residenz, and Marienplatz. There are A Couple of small groceries and restaurants around the hotel. Not too many choices.

A Hotel Unmasked

This was my first stay at this hotel, although I've been to Munich many times and have lived in Germany (hence speaking fluent German). The place is a bit out of the center, which is easily reachable by metro, and has an attractive appearance. The room to which I was initially assigned was exquisitely appointed. I say \"initially,\" however, because even though I requested in writing and upon check-in a QUIET room, I was put in a room that could not have been noisier starting at 7:00 a.m. due to construction/drilling next to its main window! I asked to have another room, and the woman at the reception was kind enough to let me use a hotel flat (uncleaned until later in the day, however). That was ok, although somewhat chilly and the cable TV got few of the listed channels. Upon check-out, the same lady had a hard time processing my credit card info, which almost led me to missing my train connection. MOST IMPORTANT, THOUGH, WAS THE COMPLETE ABSENCE OF MASK-WEARING BY EVERYONE AT THE RECEPTION, A PERILOUS BEHAVIOR DURING THE COVID-PANDEMIC, ESPECIALLY IN GERMANY, WHERE MASK-WEARING AND OTHER MITIGATION MEASURES ARE DE RIGEUR. I FOUND THIS SHOCKING AND SOMETHING THAT POTENTIALLY PUTS BOTH HOTEL STAFF AND GUESTS (even if vaccinated) AT RISK!

Our room was very spacious and clean, however, climbing 5 flights of stairs,carrying over 100lbs of luggage, after an 8 hour flight was less than ideal. Noone offered to assist with the luggage and i am incapable of carrying a 50lb suitcase, so my husband had to carry it all up. When we contacted hotel previously we were informed that they have an elevator. They did not inform us the building our room was in did not have one. Also, the hammering repair work being done in adjacent room(early in the am), caused a picture to fall from wall leaving broken glass all over. Called front desk and was told there was noone to clean it until the morning. My husband had to walk back down and up 5 flights to get a broom so we didnt step on broken glass during the night. Also, had to ask 3 days in a row to have washcloths put back in bathroom. The cleaning people did not clean the kitchen sink each day. The hotel was lovely and conveniently located but the service left very much to be desired.

Location is good as we are right next to the U5 u-Bahn. It is a more residential area but easy enough to get into the old town within 15mins. If you drive, it is a great location as the street parking is free. Apt size was very good size and comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not vey far away from Downtown area.
If you get a High floor there isn't an elevator, so you can imagine how easy is ta carrie your luggage up and down the stairs.
The room wasn't ready, we enter and there was no clean sheets for the bed or blankets, we were at -3C.
The biggest issue was the fact we left the privacy card on the door and they enter anyway and moved some of our stuff without our permission.
Wont ever stay there again.

frontdesk staffs short and not to helpful. I did not know you had to put your room card in a slot to access electricity. when I went to front desk to ask bout lights she responded with there is a photo inside room key folder. \"like I was looking at the pictures!\" I asked for a second key card. not helpful with any information. I wanted coffee in the morning since I didnt not realize I booked a hotel without free breakfast and was told I could drink a cup in the lobby but was not allowed in the dining room.. room was super small, my master closet at home is bigger than that room. Hotels.com should actually go see these places before they post on website.

Room 116 was very small and the Aircondition didn’t work . We ask to move to a room with Airconditon that works. The lady at the front desk start arguing with me that I don’t need Aircondition in Munich maybe ones or twice a year. After 15 minuets argument we moved to room 203 with Aircondition. Fantastic Hotel, Would Absolutely Stay Again!

The Park Hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a great spot if you're going to the Festival Area (which in our case was for Oktoberfest). The Park Hotel is right on the subway line which allows you to have quick access to the center of Munich in a matter of minutes. The staff was very helpful, we arrived a few hours early they allowed us to store our luggage while we explored Munich and brought it to our room when our room was available. I would highly recommend this to anyone whether or not you are here for a festival or not due to the ease of getting into the city and value of the hotel.

The hotel was great for access to Oktoberfest being only 3 stops on the underground away. The hotel is some way from the city centre and in a mixed residential area of Munich. It was convenient for leaving Munich for our trip to the Mountains the next day.

Staff was very friendly and all spoke English. Room was nice size for European hotel and very clean. They let us check out a little later to accommodate our travel plans. Location is right across the street from a metro which was so convenient! Will definitely stay here the next time we're in Munich!

If you do not speak German, stay away.

The room was not ready at the check in time so we left for about 30 minutes. When we returned, one of the staff promised to show us to our apartment and then walked us to the garage and left us there. We had to return to the front desk which, luckily, had a new staff member there. She was gracious enough to actually walk us to the apartment. The check in girl was rude!! Her colleague apparently thought it was funny to leave us in the garage. I actually suggest that Expedia remove this hotel from their listings in the USA. The wifi was horrible so we found ourselves in a strange city with rude hotel staff and an inability to use our computers for directions and other assistance.

Outdated and not upto par for a 4-star hotel.

No air conditioning in the apartments despite website saying there was AC. No functioning safe in the apartment and when the hotel staff was asked if it could be fixed, the response was \"the lady is very busy.\" The safe was never made functional during our stay. Microwave knobs broken, and the microwave did not turn off even if one opened the door. Fridge very small and full of mini-bar items making it difficult for food storage for a family for the stay. Freezer was the size of a small shoebox. Kitchen silverware limited with no kitchen towels or potholders. Living room furniture old. Fold out couch was a mattress on the floor level. Receptionist directions for the tram and underground stops were poor. No complimentary tea or coffee available. Very disappointing!

Wifi was a joke. Took 50min just to book a flight would drop out every 2 mins requiring you to log back in with user name and password. Our room key stoped working everyday at check out time and had to go down stairs to be reset in an elevator big enuff for 2 people that was so slow and staff just brushed the problams off. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't stay again. Ps resturants for dinner was like being in the twilight zone

- You may find free parking spaces on the street nearby. If not you may pay 22 Euro for a hotel parking space (for however long you are staying).
- Wifi pretty good
- If you ask for toothbrush/toothpaste you may get it from reception (depends on the receptionist).
- 3 minute walk to a convenient store.
- Very clean.

Decent place, nice room, HORRIBLE Wifi situation.

I stayed at this hotel for vacation and business as I had to work while there. The wifi was a big selling point for me, but it turned out to be horrible! They only let two devices per room on any kind of wifi and even the devices that were able to connect were dropped constantly. The two device limit was specific to the devices - so one person couldn't log off so another one could log on as their device was still attached to the \"ticket\" given and couldn't connect. The staff was not helpful or even pleasant about this issue.

Beautiful hotel next to a park

I had a nice double room, with a view to the street and park. Spacious and it was good to work in the room - except I had to opt to using my mobile connection, since the \"fast wireless connection\" was actually very slow, if working at all.

The room and hotel interiors were very beautiful with traditional paintings in the corridors, so it was better to walk down the stairs than take the elevator. :)

Breakfast was good as often in Germany, although a bit overpriced in my opinion (18 EUR). Since there is a nice bakery next to the hotel, I had a big sandwich for 3,5 EUR instead after the first morning. Also a cafe and supermarket at the same block, but I didn't try them.

The shopping options and restaurants in the area are not splendid (a good Italian nearby and a basic thai lunch next to the bakery), but the metro station is under the house and the train takes you to the city in 10 minutes.

Great atmosphere, good people running the place, nice, very clean, European room. The Bavarian restaurant a block away is a treasure, had dinner there twice. Hotel breakfast is excellent. It's in a fairly quiet neighborhood, but the U-Bahn is right next door and it's only a few stops to Old City and the center of Munich. Love it! Only drawback is the wi-fi is slow, but it works. I was there for a trade show in Munich, was able to get there every day on the U-Bahn. Highly recommend the Park Liam.

Lovely hotel, good sized rooms, great bed and linen. Quite charming in decor. A little out of the way and few options nearby for eating or shopping that I could see. That didn't bother me though as was opposite a metro station and only a couple of shirt stops to Central station. I easily travelled via train to Dachau and back. Staff were very helpful and friendly with excellent English.

It is a very nice hotel, but far away from everything. The good thing is it is right by the U-Bahn so it doesn't take long to get into central Munich, but was bummed it wasn't walking distance to anything decent.

Internet is only free for one hour a day or something ridiculous. Parking was charged extra without notice upfront and the midsized sedan hardly fit in any of the parking stalls. The new restaurant next door that is coupled to the hotel blared the Italian music until 1 AM. Our A/C didn't keep up with hot and humid weather during our stay.

Nice Hotel, Good location

Good, clean room, working Aircon, which we needed. Excellent breakfast - free for children :)
No Kettle for tea :(

Good small hotel in west-central Munich.

This is a well-run and comfortable hotel in west-central Munich with easy access to local shops and to the Unterbahn and tram systems for getting to the city centre and tourist districts. The rooms are not large but are adequate if you are spending most of the day out and about. Breakfast is good, plentiful and has a fair variety, although there isn't the immense range you'd expect in a large chain hotel. Wifi access is sometimes patchy.
