The country feel and scenery were beautiful. However, this place was away from everything, you have to take taxi in order to get in or out into the city (30 euros one way). It is up in a hill which is about a 15-20 minute strenuous, steep walk to get down to take bus. Staff was not always available in premises which made it difficult to ask questions. I would probably stay somewhere more convenient next time. The hotel needs some updating and we had to ask for toilet paper a number of times. The amenities are not the best.

This historic property has been beautifully modernized while still maintaining the character of the original building and grounds. Breakfast buffet offers many delicious choices in a charming sunroom. Staff are so accommodating! This was a beautiful B&B right outside the city center. The views are gorgeous! We stayed two nights in room 7 with a view of the courtyard and beyond it was lovely! Breakfast was very good, they offer a nice variety. I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful hotel, they were caring hosts and couldn't do enough to make our stay great. A peaceful haven after a busy day in Florence, the pool was a good size with stunning views. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and Dante, the dog was gorgeous, we could not have asked for more, forgot to mention breakfast which was plentiful and delicious.

A lovely place to stay within easy reach of Florence, but quiet and secluded in beautiful Tuscan countryside. The owners are very nice people and everything in the hotel is immaculate. Lovely pool and garden area, and a walk down through the grounds marked out with yellow poles down to the town where you can catch a bus to the centre of Florence. (The walk back up the hill in the evening is harder, but it's worth it when you get back.)

I Parigi is picturesque and relaxing. Rooms are comfortable and fairly up to date for the age of the villa. Breakfast was superb and hosts provided personal touches such as driving us to the bus stop daily and offering us dinner when we arrived exhausted. We did not have a car so the walk up the hill was our biggest challenge but the pool was waiting for us at the top. Restaurant in town was delicious and staff were very welcoming! They will even drive you back if later in the evening. A very memorable stay!!

What a lovely stay I had at IParigi! It was calm and relaxed, quiet and the host friendly and helpful. It is great value for money and away from tourists, accessible to the bus and village of Galluzzo on foot. I did feel the breakfast was disappointing and would appreciate a cappuccino not made from a sort of vending machine and not a big selection of fresh baked items. As it is the Tuscan countryside there are mosquitoes and they should make sure there is more than one repellent in each room.

The staff was wonderful, the room was always clean, spacious and the owners where very good at giving helpful advice. They got us museum tickets, made appropriate dining suggestions and maps. We would definitely return here!

Spectacular Tuscan B&B!!!
Amazing place to stay. The the views, the pool, the grounds, the outdoor breakfast terrace and the staff were superb! This is a quintessential Tuscan B&B! Even when fully booked, this B&B was relaxing and serene. While the A/C in our room was on its last legs, this was only a minor inconvenience and we would return in a heartbeat. We had a car, which made accessing the B&B more convenient, as it is just outside Florence on the crest of a hill. It is an easy drive into Galluzo, where you can park for free and take a short and inexpensive bus ride into Florence. Having a car also makes for easy day trips to the surrounding hillside villages. A highlight of our trip to Italy!

15th Century Estate
I Parigi is a lovely and quaint hotel on a hilltop just outside of Florence. The views are quintessential Tuscany. Our room (standard double) overlooked the courtyard and the hills to the south. The sheets were crisply pressed, but the bed spread was old and the ivy-painted wooden panels behind the bed needed to be updated. Minor upgrades to the room's decor would really elevate I Parigi. The breakfast on the flagstone patio, was plentiful and divine! In the evening, we took wine to the pool area, down a path from the estate and watched the sun set over the Tuscan hills-lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

The brothers who run the hotel are very accommodating and will do anything required to ensure you are comfortable. They are very pleasant and helpful. If you are taking the bus, the walk to the hotel is a bit of a hike with a long hill but it is a lovely walk and you can listen to birds singing instead of noisy traffic. You may on occasion see a rabbit running along the road. There are fantastic views as you walk to and from the hotel and many colourful and fragrant flowers. The hotel grounds are well maintained and lovely to walk about in. The room was comfortable with a mini bar and a lovely large bathroom. They are sensitive to the environment and do not wash the towels unnecessarily, but change them frequently. They even have meals on site which is an added bonus. The breakfast is delicious and the whole atmosphere is lovely and quiet and not busy or rushed.

A country retreat for a medieval Florentine family, converted into a hotel. We had room 5 at the top of the building, with a balcony looking over the battlements at a gorgeous view of the Tuscan countryside. A wonderful place to come back to and relax after a tiring day in Florence. (Note that there is no elevator so you might have to carry your luggage up a lot of narrow stairs to your room.)

We arrived at the bottom of the drive leading up to the hotel. A very steep and challenging drive but worth every centimetre. The views from the hotel are breathtaking. The staff were delightful and helped us with our bags up to a magnificent room. Nothing was too much trouble. My wife is gluten intolerant and they not only provided a suitable substitute but went that extra mile to find something that little bit more special..

Tuscan countryside 15 minutes from Florence centre
If you want countryside peace and tranquility, but within easy reach of Florence city centre, this is a great choice. Breakfast was nothing special, the room was basic but finctional and I was allowed to bring my dog. What set it spart were the breakfast terrace/garden and the spacious pool area which were charming and had great views over rolling Tuscan hillsides - great for relaxing before/after visiting the tourist sites during the day.

My husband and I stayed at this amazing B&B for 3 nights whilst visiting Florence Early Aug 2014. The people were all sooo friendly and welcoming. The room is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed with spectacular views! and we only stayed in the basic double. If you are looking for a place to stay that is 15euros away (via taxi) from the centre of Florence this is the place! Great value and very quite. We will be coming back!

This was our home base for a very brief visit to Florence, the mid-point in a 10 day stay in Italy. We could not have been more pleased with I Parigi. The staff was friendly and very helpful providing us with bus tickets into Florence and pre-purchased tickets to the the Ufizzi. I Parigi is remote/out in the country side, but just a short bus ride into Florence. It felt like staying in a castle with a beautiful room and lovely grounds. My only regret was that we only stayed two nights. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Florence.

Hotel with stunning views
The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the city. It has absolutely stunning views. Can be a little difficult getting up and down as the road is narrow. The hotel is like a villa so you may have to climb a staircase to your room. Rooms are small but clean. There can be mosquitoes around so would recommend opening the windows, but you may have to as there were no air con controls. There is a small room for breakfast and the staff don't seem to pop in to refill things very often so you may find they have run out of your option.

This was my favorite hotel out of the 11 we stayed at during our 17 day vacation of Western Europe. The views from our room were phenomenal, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and informative. The breakfast was great and parking was included! The hotel is on a great location, we didn't want to leave!

The setting of this hotel was fantastic in the hills overlooking Florence. The room was a good size with luxurious furniture apart from the bed which I thought was not grand enough for its surroundings, yet it was comfy. The en-suite had a shower but no bath, the sanitary ware was of a high standard. The evening meal menu was limited and I was rather disappointed to find out there were no olives for the ham and olive pizza I ordered, especially as I the hotel is surrounded by olive tree orchards. I ended up opting for the pasta which was very nice. Breakfast was bog-standard however the gardens in which breakfast was served were beautiful with views of the surrounding hills. Likewise, the swimming-pool area was to die for overlooking the nearby monastery and Florence in the further distance. The pool was very clean and a good size for a small hotel. The flowers and other foliage surrounding the pool area made this area very relaxing and we ended both days by watching the sunset from the gardens. The courtyard and entrance area to the hotel made it very picturesque and we ate our meal there on our first evening. I paid extra and booked a room with a terrace but we did not actually get much use out of it. The walls of the terrace were too high and spoilt the view and there was no privacy between our terrace and that of the terrace next door. I think the most expensive room has a large private terrace with good views which I would recommend booking if you have cash to splash.

A fantastic place to stay. Enjoy the attractions of Florence during the day: leave the car and take a quick bus ride into the city centre. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the country in the evening. A perfect combination. The reception staff gave us accurate information re; travel advice and local dining. We dined in two of the local restaurants, both of which were remarkable.
The hotel is very easily accessed from the motorway. There is a slightly intimidating narrow and winding road to the property, so possibly best to choose a small hire car!

The mist beautiful b&b in Florence?
Even the 20minute uphill walk to I Parigi Corbinelli couldn't diminish the charms of this gorgeous b&b. The location is just beautiful, the rooms clean and peaceful and the staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend visitors drive or be prepared to rely on taxis to and from the hotel as it's not easy to reach on foot. But we loved spending mornings in the sun by the pool in the olive groves! Great for people looking for more than just a city break in Florence.

a fortified villa dating back to the 1400s (and in parts beyond), set in the hills aboive Florence, where you can have your own turret and battlements if you pick room 5, and with lovely pool by an olive grove, with views over the hills and to the monastery of Certosa... Good breakfast too! OK, it's a 20 minute bus or car ride to the centre, and they don't offer donner other than reasonable pizzas ands pasta if ordered 30 minutes in advance, but it's an experience - wonderful.

The location is a bit remote, and is not optimal if you are not travelling by car. It is, however, very beautifully situated. The hotel itself is also very beautiful and the rooms are large and decorated very tastefully. Breakfast was very good as well. Generally, service was top.

The pool is surrounded by olive trees which gives a feeling of privacy as guests are spread out. It has a beautiful view over the area just like the garden where breakfast was served. We parked in the nearby village (for free) and took the bus to Florence. It was super-easy. Reception staff explained everything and even sold us the bus tickets.

Brilliant B&B (though it is a regular hotel) beautifully situated in the hills. Breakfast, rooms, staff are all great. Florence is a 15 minute busride away. You can walk to the busstop, but a car is preferable due to the steep narrow road. Parking is free close to the busstop. Book it!
