Really beautiful property and wonderful room. Hotel is immaculately clean and we thought the hotel had been renovated to a beautiful finish. We let the hotel know we were staying for our 10 year anniversary, and a bottle of Prosecco was left in our room with a note, which was extremely kind. A great location to stay in, just across the river. Passcode is provided for front door so can come and go as please. Have booked to stay in again in October!

The hotel was very nice beautiful garden for breakfast, or having a drink.
We would have enjoyed it more if we got a room on a higher floor. Try to ask in your reservation for high floor. We were on the main floor and the window to the street.

At check in, Eduardo was super welcoming and accommodating. He made us feel at ease in a foreign country. The housekeeper was a doll. She approached us about our room to let us know it was ready and was so sweet. We had a great conversation with her about her background and her love of Italy. The place itself was impeccable. They thought of everything. The room we had was clean and gorgeous. If this could be my home I would definitely live here!

Gorgeous hotel and room, great breakfast. Ideal location within walking distance of most landmarks and sites. Only problem was our room (Room 1) was right next to the front entrance and on the street level, meaning it was extremely noisy and we didn't sleep at all. Really there shouldn't be a room there as I'm not sure how any one could sleep with the constant sound of cars and motorbikes and passerby. Had to get up out of bed in the middle of the night to ask guests convening in the hallway to please move along. Walls are so thin! It would be better used as a second communal space.

We had such a wonderful stay here. A gorgeous boutique hotel in a great location, easy to walk to all the main attractions. The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a great variety.
The best part is the style of the hotel, it is absolutely gorgeous and mixes traditional upmarket Florence with homey. We will absolutely be coming back next time we’re in Florence. I will be recommending to friends and family coming to Florence.

As lovely as the photos we saw online. The staff was so friendly and our room was so sweet and cozy. We came for our honeymoon and we were greeted with a personalized note and wine. Wonderful setting close to the city center and Ponte Vecchio. Truly out of a story book!

Hotel was a good location with some lovely bars and restaurants near by. However, I booked the suite and was quite disappointed. For the cost, I would expect an actual coffee machine and not instant coffee sticks and no milk. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room which seems to be an ongoing issue. No staff on site after 1pm which isn’t ideal.

Beautiful hotel and location, slightly removed from crowds but close enough walk to most things as long as your happy to walk 20minutes. This was ideal for us.

Beautiful place to stay in Firenze

I really like the interior design of the whole house. It is a bit of walk from the main station but it is easy to find and located in convenient place to sightsee Firenze. I also like the fact that they have ice cubes, water, and coffee free of charge in the kitchen. The garden we had a breakfast at has a good atmosphere. The owner is easy to get in touch on whatsapp and very helpful.

This is a unique and quirky hotel. We’re made to feel very welcome. Excellent honesty bar area with free tea and coffee and fruit. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are decorated in an individual stylish way. A wonderful garden is available to have breakfast or sit in the evening.
All in all a great treat to stay at
One small issue was that one room upon initial entry had a sewerage smell which went when the windows were opened.

Love the aesthetics of this property and the breakfast was very good. Staff was lovely. Very communicative and easy check in and check out procedures. The vibe was very dark and cozy, which would be better if my eyesight wasn’t terrible these days. But I found a reading light over my pillow, and that helped a lot.

My wife and I loved our stay at Ottantotto in early October. The room (#5) was typical european-sized, but nicely updated. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Water pressure and the hot water supply were abundant, although we had to run the hot water for quite a while before we received any hot water if nobody in the hotel had used the hot water supply in a while. Each morning's breakfast selection was fresh and tasty.

The hotel staff were exceptionally nice and helpful throughout our stay, and went above and beyond the call of duty to help us with a problem after we left the hotel!

The hotel is conveniently located, and an easy walk across the Arno river into the old town and most of the sites you will visit while there. However, it is far enough away to be peaceful and quiet at night. Many choices are availble for dining in the area.

If you are packing light and plan to do laundry while traveling, there is a 24 hour laundry located directly across the street from the hotel. Be advised that you'll need euros, since the credit card slot was inoperable.

We'll be staying at this hotel again when we return to Florence!

We loved our stay overall. The property is beautiful and the room was very charming. The area around the hotel is easily walkable and about 15 min from central Florence. We ran into a few technical issues, mostly because there wasn't a full time employee working the front desk. Our code to get in didn't work and then our key stopped working midway through our stay. It was all easily solved but we wish everything worked well. I'd still recommend this hotel.

This was a nice property for the price. The rooms are super small, it felt like a big house with just a bunch of rooms. You open the door and take one step and it is the bed. There is also some kind of air diffuser that smelled awful.

The bathroom was very nice. Overall the place was very clean. The only interaction with staff I had was when I asked the guy preparing breakfast how to check out (instructions weren’t clear). He said checkout is at 8AM, so be aware if you’re traveling out early. He let us leave our key in the room though.

Our favorite hotel on our Italy trip

The perfect Florence stay - quant and peaceful but still within walking distance of all major attractions, tours, and activities you would want to enjoy. Our room was stylish and comfortable. The courtyard is beautiful. It was an excellent stay, my only feedback to visitors is be sure to read the email/message they send you before check-in because there are essential details.

The property is lovely and has been beautifully upgraded. The technology used for check-in was very smooth and easy. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

My one frustration was with the heating/cooling system. The system can only operate in heating mode or cooling mode for the whole building. We found our room to be much too warm, even if we turned the heat completely off. We had no ability to turn on the cooling system. We opened the windows for a bit to help, but city street noise made that less than ideal for sleeping.

Apart from that limitation, everything else was great.

The location is in a trendier area with a younger crowd. It's about 15min walk to the city center across the bridge. There are tons of amazing restaurants (reservations are highly recommended) and gelato places near by.

The interior is beautiful, with rooms that have character and modern amenities. The rooms were spacious, as were the bathrooms with waterfall showerheads, heated flooring, and towel warmers.

They also provide a tasty breakfast (eggs, toast, various cheese, prosciutto/salami, juices, fruits, coffee, cakes, etc.). During covid, Jessica will help serve breakfast to reduce contact with the food. The best part is you get to enjoy the food in a beautiful tiny garden!

The only thing I noticed about my room was that the AC wasn't particularly strong. It was never able to get below 23-24°C (73-75F), which was just mildly uncomfortable during our stay in the hot and humid Italian summers. The team was notified and eager to resolve the issue, but we had a short stay so didn't stay long enough to see it fixed.

Although it's quite late for me to leave a review, however this hotel stayed in my mind even a few months later. I really loved my stay here, it was so peaceful and lovely in the busy city and it was magical at night at the garden they have. The staff were so lovely and kind. My apologies I don't remember her name but she was the one who managed customers and such, nonetheless she was so sweet and kind. She helped us from getting cars to booking museums and overall having a wonderful stay. The hotel is really clean and beautiful. Thank you for having us, I really enjoyed it and I will for sure be coming back in the future. Thank you

This small and quaint home/ small hotel / B&B has great quiet location with cafes/ restaurants (& Laundry) nearby.
-Wonderful light breakfast were part of the booking (November 2019).
-Hosts/ staff (Linda and Andre) are wonderful and was helpful to us.
-Dining space and garden for guests to eat (breakfast)/ relax was a nice retreat after touring around Florence (home away from home).
-As an interior designer and artist/ carpenter we appreciate and the historical parts of the building and the decore.

Must to visit (Eats):
-La Menagere (cafe/ restaurant, shop + florist).
-Ditta Artigianale cafe(s).
-Berbere Pizzeria (Santa Croce location-limited hours during day).
-Tamero (near hotel)

Dissapointed!, This is not a Hotel, is a “Hostal or Pension”. The localization is not good, ugly street!, the room was literally on the street, very,very small . The description of this hotel and its review is a lie, Expedia, is responsible as the manager for a false advertising . I book a room with two beds ,And they give one bed, and no nice restaurants close,no atractions nearby. I have to book another hotel that night, and found one espectacular hotel near Duomo Piazza, for the same prize, Pierre Hotel!,and the worst, I ask a refund, because I was cheated, and the manager denied it! I did not recomended this place never!!!

This lovely boutique hotel was such a treat! It was charming and beautiful. The decor was great, very clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful. Oh and breakfast was great! They had a lovely spread; a little something for everyone. I don’t recall if our room had AC so be sure to ask. It didn’t bother us though because we just opened up the windows or used the black-out blinds.
