Unfortunately, we had memu ossyes with the hotel. The rooms are HUGE, which alomg with the location are the only two positives.
Issues were with the parking arrangement, a broken main door, gallons of water leaking all over the floor during every shower, the doorbell could be heard in our room, and a horrible mattress (it has caved in).

An Adventure in Florence

The room was pretty amazing, but I was only there for one night so really didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. I was very uncertain about the check-in process since there was not the usual street-level registration/welcome desk. It involved being buzzed in through three different doors and and up to registration via a lift. It is not staffed 24 hours but once you are registered you are given a card and a buzzer to let yourself in. That process would have been good to know in advance!

The staff was absolutely amazing from booking to check-out. The location was on a very nice, safe street and walkable to the major sites. The room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. The only complaint is the breakfast was minimal and there were no hot foods offered. It was mostly breads, however, the staff offered fresh espresso beverages which was nice. Would definitely recommend to friends!

The most unique experience in downtown Florence. The location was perfect. Within walking distance to the Museum, Duomo and shopping. This boutique hotel was very lovely. Staff was very helpful, Manuela went above and beyond. Wine and amazing breakfast included!!!

The check in took a little long but we did enjoy visiting with the hosts. It is a laid-back feel, and the operators want to take time to connect with you as people. If you are looking for a more business-like, less-personable accommodation interaction this might not be a good fit for you. We did feel that for the price of the room, the breakfast service should not have been an additional charge.

Nice rooms in a grandiose building

A nicely renovated place in an old and majestic structure. Truly felt like staying in a palazzo with heavy wooden doors and stone hallways. Yet with modern facilities like an elevator and electronic keys. The owners were very helpful and remained on site during the day. A stone’s throw from Pitti Palace and other attractions.

Great stay. Hotel is small and personal. Warm welcome and friendly service. In a brilliant location, south bank so slightly less busy and touristy, but very easy walking everywhere. Good restaurants nearby. Good breakfast in the room.

We stayed here 5 nights and loved it. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Our hosts were very helpful and caring. The location is perfect just steps from the Ponte Santa Trinita and within easy of all of the major sights. There are lots of amazing dining options around also a few minutes walk to a small grocery store. About a 15 minute walk to the train station. We highly recommend this property.

Excellent!

Amazing Host and owner! The rooms were super clean and much bigger than expected. We never had beakfast at the hotel but there are many breakfast friendly restaurants in the cozy neighbourhood. The hotel is also perfectly situated in town - close to the other side of the bridge and in the middle of the best area on its side of the bridge.

Great place to stay near everything in Florence

Franco and staff make you feel at home, the hotel is close to the main places, and its well decorated, clean and quiet. Definitively I'll go back when visiting Florence. Very nice place to stay.

This place is in a lovely spot and very comfortable and clean. However, it is quite loud and you can hear pretty much everything from the room (i.e. people in the corridor, breakfast, etc.). The owners are only in at certain hours which is good for the noise but less so if you need anything. Overall, a decent place to stop but definitely should be aware of the noise issue.

This is a wonderful little gem located in the Oltr'arno (across the Arno) section of Florence. My room is so beautiful and comfortable that I don't want to leave it to see the wonders of Florence. We had expected maybe a few glitches since they had only been open only a few weeks, but everything was great. They went above and beyond for service; the rooms were really nice; cleanliness was exceptional; the location was within easy walking distance of the Pitti Palace, Pointed Vecchio, and other tourist attractions. We really enjoyed our stay!

They weren’t ready to open for business. The picture on line was nothing like what the b&b really looked like. I asked through email if the pics were accurate to what the rooms looked like. I never got a response. The door handle came
of in the owners hand when he was showing us the room. He gave me his key to lock ourselves in the room for the night. No one is on the property as far as staff. There are no phones on the property. Very disappointed from what we saw on line to what we actually saw when arriving. It is many flights up with no elevator. I wish Expedia would check out the hotels they advertise on line before putting any pictures or backing any hotels. Very upsetting when you see a beautiful picture on line and then not getting what is advertised. Expedia needs to do there research more before allowing someone to book and pay for rooms months ahead and checking in and not feeling safe. Very upsetting all around. I also hope Expedia helps me get my money back.

La chambre est très propre et spacieuse, il n'y a vraiment rien à dire. L'hotel est situé dans un immeuble historique typique de Florence, ça transpire l'histoire!
Nous sommes arrivés un peu avant 19h, il n'y avait personne à la réception mais quelqu'un nous a guidé par téléphone. L'accès à l'immeuble et à l'hotel au 3è étage se faire grace à une application (pour ouvrir les portes). C'est vraiment troublant alors que c'est plutôt moderne comme approche. J'étais coté cours et c'est vraiment calme. Mes amis qui étaient côté rue se sont plaints du bruit des voitures et deux roues.

La camera è situata in un palazzo a 10 metri dall'Arno. Restaurato completamente il terzo piano l'anno scorso, risulta un piccolo gioiello, con molti comfort: telecomando per l'apertura dei portoni, chiave magnetica per la camera, rispettando pienamente la storicità del palazzo. Smart TV in camera, Wi-Fi perfettamente funzionante e letto comodissimo. Il bagno, cieco, è molto ampio e comodo. Posizione: prendendo il vicolo a destra del palazzo si arriva diretti, in 50 metri, di fronte a Palazzo Pitti. Si è dunque attaccati a Ponte Vecchio e Uffizi.
Arrivati in auto, i proprietari ci han fornito il gradito servizio del parcheggio convenzionato: un addetto del garage è venuto a prendere l'auto davanti al Palazzo Mantellino e c'è l'ha riportata la mattina che siamo andati via, il tutto ad un prezzo molto più basso di quello offerto da altri alberghi.
Posso sembrare troppo entusiasta, ma mi ha reso questo miei primi 4 giorni a Firenze indimenticabili.

The historic building of IL Tornabuoni, one of the most prestigious in Via Tornabuoni was acquired by Hines European Core Fund (HECF) in 2016. It dates back to the XV Century and spans over six floors, one destined for retail and five to the 5-star luxury lifestyle hotel, totaling more than 5,000 square meters.

Steps from the historic Ponte Vecchio and Arno River, IL Tornabuoni's interiors are designed by Milan-based architect Andrea Auletta. Each of IL Tornabuoni's five floors are designed with a distinct color scheme as a nod to the Renaissance period, embodying the city's rich history and artistic magnificence by incorporating distinct regal and bold gem colors including vibrant teals, deep blues, sunny yellows, energetic vermillion and soft greys.

The wallpaper for each room and suite was custom designed by Auletta with lush fabrics including silk, rich velvet and wool were used for the furnishings. Most rooms and suites provide two double beds for guests, a rarity found in much of Italy and Europe, along with grandiose bathrooms which recall the lavishness of ancient spas.

Many suites offer stunning views of the Duomo, Santa Maria del Fiore, and the famous Cupola del Brunelleschi or the picturesque Arno River and Il Ponte Vecchio. The restored Minerbetti Palazzo has retained much of its heritage with state-of-the-art avant-Garde interiors and the property's opulent look and feel perfectly blends historic prestige with modern day beauty.

Florence's historic city center, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982, is experiencing a rebirth and together with IL Tornabuoni welcomes the return of tourism. Most recently, the Abbey of San Miniato, the Church of San Salvatore al Monte, the Rampe, Piazzale Michelangelo, the Rose Garden and the Iris Garden, were all declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
