We loved it here! Radek at the front desk was extremely helpful with suggestions and reconfirming tram stops.

It was cool, historic, beautiful grounds, great beer, great food and such friendly and kind people. We wished we could have stayed longer.! It’s on the tram line, but off the besten path and feels like you are out of town, but close to the sites in Prague via tram.

When we return to Prague, this is defintely where we will stay!

We had an exceptional experience here. If I could give them more stars, I would.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We arrived very early from our flight and they graciously let us enter our room. Radek was super helpful in providing guidance in the area and voluntairly looking up places on the internet we were interested in visting. He also helped provide guidance on tram stops, which we were clueless about.

If you love history, open areas, and a peaceful place, this is your hotel. There is a pond and beautiful garden. This is an old monastery and just so cool. They also have a catholic chapel with daily mass if you wish to attend. Overall, it had a warm feeling of kinda like grandma’s house. If we are fortunate to return to Prague, this is the only place we will stay!!

The restaurant served good beer (understsnd it is the same recipie the monks made 1,000 years ago) and the food was very good. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating wait staff.

If you want a unique hotel off the beaten path, but still on the city tram line, this is your hotel!

We loved our one night stand in this hotel, its in a beautiful old monastery building, beds, pillows were really comfy, found location was great, just minute walk to tram stop and from there getting to centre really easy. We picked this hotel because of free parking as we had a car. Breakfast was pretty good. Service friendly. Lovely restaurant just next door and beer brewery. Its an old building so don’t expect modern new rooms. We stayed with two kids so had a two bed and rooms were massive. Overal great stay.

Check in was great and the staff member was kind and patient.
The room was massive split into 2 rooms as we were a family of four. The rooms were a bit tired and dusty on the provided fans but the rest of the room was brilliantly clean.
The beds were really comfy and it was great to have 2 pillows provided.
Breakfast was good and well appointed. You are left to your own to work out what is what but again great selection and tasted great.

The hotel was set in beautiful grounds and the pubs offer great beer and what looked like great food although none appealed to my fussy kids. It was great to sample the beers and they had a good choice of other drinks as well.

We would absolutely stay again.

Neat property and experience. Good for a quick one night stopover but likely wouldn’t recommend longer than that.

On the site of an old monastery and we joked that the bed was part of the monk experience. It was a board with the the thinnest mattress ever made on it.

Nice, clean and safe though, very picturesque - if they wanted to elevate the experience they could certainly become a must visit destination.

I recently stayed at your property, which I have visited before and always enjoyed. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I encountered an issue with the staff that I feel needs to be brought to your attention.

Upon discovering a bad smell coming from the toilet in my room, I, along with two other guests, reported the issue to the receptionist. Unfortunately, rather than addressing the problem, the receptionist dismissed our concerns and attempted to convince the three of us that there was no smell and the only solution she found to the problem was to sent a cleaner to spray some freshener. Although we were offered a new room, her dismissive behavior led us to stay in the original room with all the disgusting smell. The windows were open all night.

I truly appreciate the quality of your property and hope that this feedback helps in improving the guest experience.

This was my first time staying at hotel Adalbert and i thoroughly enjoyed the experience.The hotel is situated a little bit outside the city centre but is easily reached by Pragues excellent transport system.On arriving at the hotel the check in was quick and efficently handled by the staff who were absolutely fantastic throughout my stay.There was no air conditioning in my room but it was not a problem as there was an electric fan which sufficed even though it was very hot outside.The breakfast provided at the hotel is pretty good and i really enjoyed walking around the monastery grounds after breakfast.I liked that the hotel had recycling facilities for paper and plastic in the corridor outside the rooms.

Our ground floor (partially sub ground floor) room was fun and comfortable - right under the chiming clock of the church. Great character in a beautiful location.

This is a beautiful hotel in the grounds of the Brevnov Monastery. Its out of the city centre, but that doesn't matter at all as it's 2 minutes from a tram stop with frequent services to everywhere you need. There is a brewery, pub and restaurant on site as well as wonderful gardens and woodlands. You get a tasty breakfast to start the day. There is no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but you can get free hot drinks from the coffee machine in the breakfast kitchen at any time. It's always on. There is a good shower, decent toiletries, a fridge, a mini safe in the well furnished, characterful rooms. Our only criticism is that, for us, the mattress was a bit too firm, but that's just personal and wouldn't stop us from returning here. This hotel is such good value and we would recommend it without any hesitation.

Everything i was hoping it would be. Its a monestary. A working monestary. I saw 2 of the monks. The room was clean and comfy.. the staff were over the top helpfull. The monks still made beer there. I indulged
Yes. The dark beer was really good. The tram was close by. I had to go across town to catch an IIHF hockey game and it was.easy. the tram to the Royal Castle was only 20 minutes. But just the history and ambiance of the place, made it most enjoyable.

I checked in after hours due to flight delays. I was relieved to find the check in process was easy. The room was beautiful and the monastery setting is amazing. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful garden area. Upon further inspection the room was a bit outdated and could have been a bit cleaner. The towels and linens had a few minor stains and found a few strands of hair on the towels.
The breakfast buffet was delightful and extensive. Overall a beautiful first night in Prague.
Perfect for a quick stay rather than extended.

I chose this hotel because of it's price and relative proximity to the airport - so glad I did because I loved this experience! Set in the middle of the Brevnov Monastery - this is truly a unique hotel and the grounds are definitely worth an explore. Buffet breakfast was good (the room it was served in was gorgeous) and the onsite restaurant offered delicious options for dinner. Rooms were clean, on the large side (by European standards) and had everything I needed for a one night stay. I enjoyed the touches that showed you the age of the place - like the exposed beams in the ceiling. Not a fancy hotel, but a beautiful setting, lovely staff, and great experience.

We felt very at ease at this monastery hotel. Everything was clean and the grounds were peaceful. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the cafe? I think it was a cafe. Both wonderful. You can get the tram just out front from the hotel about a 5-7 min. Walk. Beds and pillows were a bit hard for us but the price was right and it was only for 2 nights.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times before our flight out of Prague and keep returning. The hotel is part of Brevnov Monastery and is 15-20 mins from the airport, it is also accessible by public transportation. There is free parking, restaurant on site, and beautiful park. It is older and furnishings and simple, but everything is clean. My only complaint about our last stay is that the pastry served for breakfast was not fresh. We tried several kinds and could not find a single fresh piece. For some, a day old pastry may not be an issue, but I am a local living abroad, so I know Czechs get fresh pastries daily, and would expect the same at a Czech hotel.

Stayed here one evening to be relatively close to the airport. Hotel is situated within the Monastery and you’re definitely ensconced in history at this location along with a lot of green space. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed, wifi & modern bathroom. Although there was no air-conditioning, you could open the window and for myself, it was relatively comfortable. On site was also a very good restaurant where you could enjoy a great meal and monastery made beer. The buffet breakfast was very nice with good selection. Definitely recommend this place.

Bargain for the price and quiet location

Overall this is a great find and I would stay again. It's quiet, safe yet convenient location and a bargain for the price you pay.

Pros
- quiet location but within minutes from a tram stop and there is a restaurant in the complex which is a bonus
- convenient transport to the main city sights (about 10min to the castle, 20mins to the city centre by tram)
- I booked a single room but it had a large bed and the room was actually pretty big (more like a double in some places)
- the place was clean and staff friendly

Cons:
- the breakfast was ok with some choice of hot and cold food, not outstanding but totally appropriate for a 3* hotel
- the shower could do with updating (showerhead a bit dodgy and water leaking on the floor) - again, not a deal breaker but could be improved
- you are in a monastery so you will hear the bells regularly :) I slept through it but maybe something to bear in mind if you are a light sleeper

We wanted a hotel near the airport for our last night in the Czech Republic but got so much more: a friendly and helpful staff, a spacious and comfortable room in a thousand year old abbey, a brewery pub on the premises, free access to the historic abbey church and grounds, an excellent breakfast, secure parking and tram and bus stops that made downtown Prague's many attractons just minutes away. Oh, and just a 15 minute drive to the airport!

Pros: Beautiful setting in the middle of a monastery that sits in a large park, staff were extremely friendly, location right next to a tram stop for trams 22 and 25 which will get you to most of the main tourist areas or to a good transfer point. If you rent a car you get free parking on-site, and the road outside leads to the highways.
Cons: The view on the outer side windows of the building is of the parking area and surrounding brewery/restaurant, the interior view is of the lovely monastery but that is lit with bright spotlights all night; neither of these are terrible things because you are still in a great location and they do have decent curtains in the rooms.
Not pro or con: The beds are a little too firm for me. The tv channels were very limited, but we didn't watch much tv anyway. The wi-fi is a bit slow, but usable for basic needs.
I would definitely stay here if I come to Prague again. This hotel is a nice value for the money.

Fanatic hotel in a location very close to public transport (tram line). Just outside of the busy city of Prague. Our room was very spacious and very clean. Well heated (as the outside temperature was veey cold. Great breakfast with more than enough options. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful! We are returning to Prague at the end of our trip (as we fly from Prague) and on return we will be staying at another hotel. We were very sad that did not book our sexond stay at the end of the holiday at this hotel again. We hope that the other hotel will be as good and as well locates as this hotel!

I liked the spaciousness of our 3 room suite and the friendly concierage service. I also liked the grounds d nearness of tram service. A few minor items did not diminish the overall excellence of the stay. Three things need improvement: international newspapers were promised but the only ones were in Czech; automobile drivers need more specific warnings about the initial parking; besides BBC tv CNN seems to be standard for hotels in this category.

A very interesting hotel in a Monastery. The rooms on the first floor probably better than the ones at the attics. The whole monastery complex is quiet and beautiful. Continental breakfast is okay. Front desk Staffs were nice and helpful.

Highly recommend!

Amazing, would stay here again! We loved our 7 days in this superb location, quick tram out the front into Prague city, free car parking for our easy day trips to Kutna Hora, Karlovy Vary & Karlstejn Castle. The grounds and monastery are gorgeous, a real retreat, brilliant free breakfast, great coffee machine, good restaurant on site. Superb value accommodation.

Our room was super small, under the eaves with one very small window. We were there during a heat wave. A small fan which barely blew air was provided, but didn’t help. Confirm the size and location of your room before you book!
