Great sized room, powerful shower and separate bath. Nice small balcony (too cold to sit out in December!). A good selection of breakfast buffet food, cereal, toasts & fruit as well as a menu service with hot food. Very helpful staff from reception, breakfast and housekeeping. On a very quiet location with easy walks to the tram or a bit further on to Charles Bridge.

Wonderful stay here. Great location for anything you want to do in Prague. The staff were friendly, breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean and kept up well with charm. Would definitely stay here again. They also arranged a transport for us from the airport and the driver was friendly and gave us many facts and information about Prague. It was easy to set up the transportation with the hotel via messenger and was reasonably priced. Highly recommend this stay to anyone.

The property had a great location, on one of the quieter streets near the Castle, yet close to good restaurants and shopping. The suite was spacious, clean and charming. Breakfast was delicious , with many hot and cold options.
The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating.
I would highly recommend.

Hotel Constans was perfect for us. It's location meant we could walk everywhere. The breakfasts were the best we'd had all the month we were travelling.

Note that there are multiple parts to the hotel and not all have elevator access... however staff were on hand to lift and move our luggage.

I was staying there twice, the top floor room has very nice 270 degree view of the building and a courtyard. It is very safe, just in few meters there is USA embassy and 24/7 security and police cars are parked just few meters from the hotel. All rooms are clean, ery friendly, receptionists speak English and ready to accommodate. The shuttle to and from the hotel is for a fee and the driver ( if I'm not mistaken Lead slaves) is real gentlemen. I haven't touched my language, even a backpack as soon I arrived and when he brought me back to the airport. He went to get a card for my language and loaded all on the cart close to the airport entrance.

3 days in Prague

After arriving from an overseas flight, they allowed us to have an early check in, most appreciated. The staff was very helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was fabulous. Hotel located in Old Town close to American Embassy. Easy walking to all the sites. Highly recommend this Boutique Hotel.

Lovely people at reception, helpful and friendly. Spacious room with comfy beds, and a dedicated workspace. Great breakfast with freshly cooked eggs. Enjoyed the neighborhood close to Nerudova St and many gardens.

The US embassy is close by and so there's police presence in the area. We felt safe.

The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. They suggested the best & most reliable way to get back to the Airport the following morning. They even left a note for the morning people to help with our luggage & open breakfast for us earlier than they open.

Quiet and Comfortable

This was a wonderful hotel in a beautiful part of the city just below the castle. I quite liked that it wasn’t in the busy section because it was quiet. Everything was within walking distance. The bed was also very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here with my husband for 4 nights. A traditional style hotel in the lovely area of Lesser town.

Pros
Very quiet area, but only a short walk to nearby restaurants, a 5 min walk to the castle and about a 15 min walk to the Old Town. The hotel was very clean. Iur bedroom was on the top floor and was very spacious. The bathroom had bath and separate shower. We didn't use the bath but the shower was decent power and temperature. The complimentary bathrobe and slippers were a nice touch. There was tea/ coffee making facilities which were replenished daily and a mini bar. Breakfast was good, and although not vast amounts in the buffet you are also able have things cooked to order. The omelette was very good. The area for breakfast is quite small, but the staff were very efficient and friendly. A special mention to the waitress with the dark hair. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Check in/ check out was quick and easy.

Cons
The bed was VERY firm. Not sure if this was due to the bed being wooden or the mattress or combination of both. I was ok but my husband found it difficult to sleep on. The only other possible downside is that check in is not 24hrs. Although we didn't have any issues during our stay I'm not sure how this might impact if you did. ( ie room key stop working/ late arrival etc) .

On the whole a really lovely hotel,with fantastic staff. A great place to stay if you want a quieter stop in Prague but still be close to everything.

Old folks on tour.

Great little hotel in the old part of the city, easy to walk in to the city.one stop on the tram from the subway to get too and from the airport. 100 yards from the Irish and American embassies as a guide.
The staff were brilliant, whatever you want is no problem for them. The room we had, 27, was warm and huge no complaints about it, the shower was small but very powerful. Breakfast was a really good selection , with whatever hot food you fancied.

It was wonderful from the start. Our flight was early but we were allowed into our room immediately. The staff were amazing. Irena on reception and Yolanda at breakfast made our stay extra special with their smiles and friendliness. Our room was huge with a lovely big comfy bed. Nice quiet location with an easy walk over the bridge to the main areas but nice and close to Prague castle. Would highly recommend.

The hotel overall was good and I would come back...

The power outlet near the sink in the bathroom is for 20VA only. Which is not enough for a water flosser (waterpik). So, I had to use the one by the toilet and floss my teeth over the bide, LOL :)

The temperature in the room cannot be controlled by a thermostat with the precision of a single degree. You have to adjust it by trial and error, controlling the valves at the radiators by the windows. And open the windows at night to make it cooler... For those, who have troubles sleeping due to night sweats - it could be problematic.

The king bed (in the description) is not king, but rather queen (per American standards). Something odd there - it has two separate twin size blankets - what if I want to be under the same blanket with my wife? :) And those blankets were short for me (I'm 184 cm tall).

WiFi is terribly slow. I had to use a hotspot from my phone to work on my laptop.

Breakfast - it would be good, if the choices of vegetables/salads would be wider. But overall, the breakfast was good. Fresh yogurt, whole grain bread, vegies, sliced deli varieties and few sweets. Fried eggs and omelets can be ordered (for free). Coffee machine makes an absolutely great latte.

Best of all - the location. It's right in the middle of the historical part of Prague and everything is right there. You can literally walk through the whole historical district from that hotel without the need of getting a taxi.

Really cute hotel in the heart of Prague. Super safe because it is located a block from the US embassy. Our only complaint is the bed (old mattress, super uncomfortable) and we were in the 4th floor which gets super noisy when it is raining. Great staff, price, breakfast

Loved this hotel! Small and intimate, beautiful building and interior. Room and bed was excellent. Fantastic breakfast with buffet plus made to order eggs, omelets, waffles. This area of Prague is much quieter and less congested than the other side of the river. I loved that! Walking in the evenings was safe, quiet and wonderful! So very pleased to have experienced this hotel and this area. Highly recommend!!

The first thing to note is the reception is unmanned after 8pm, that means if your flight lands at night make sure you look at your emails for instructions to access the hotel and get the access card for your room. I didn’t but a helpful man at the end of a call talked me through the process and I got into my room.
My bedroom was stunning and larger than my flat at home. The hotel is really well situated for seeing the sights etc. We had a great time staying here. Breakfast was delicious.

The location is excellent with easy proximity to the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge and Old Town on foot. Excellent breakfast each morning. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are quite spacious. I felt very safe in Prague at all times and still did not appreciate the hotel had no one at the desk after 8pm. There was entry to the hotel with your room key after hours which felt a little unsettling as a woman traveling solo.

This was easily my favorite hotel I stayed in on this trip. Excellent staff all around, especially the gent at the front desk. Very helpful. The bathroom was bigger than the entire hotel room I stayed in while in the old town area. Great location, price, and amenities. the breakfast was awesome.

The hotel is in a great location, a quiet street with easy access to downtown Prague. However, my room was on the fifth floor and in the eaves which made it hard to stand up on one side and was dark. I did see some of the other rooms on the lower floors while they were being cleaned and they were quite nice. Perhaps the fact that I booked through Orbitz determined the room I got. The staff were very nice but there was no one on the desk after 8pm.

This has been our second year at Boutique Hotel Constans and we can’t recommend it enough. All staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, our room was large and well decorated without costing the earth. The breakfast is the best! You have a continental breakfast bar and also able to choose from a hot, freshly cook breakfast menu also.

We have a great week here and will be back next year, thank you.

Second stay in6 months, love this place staff always helpful, breakfast great with plenty of choice. Got upgraded to a suite which was huge and comfortable. Would def recommend, in a great location. Would be nice if they had a small bar but did not spoil our stay as plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
