Great area for food, staff welcoming and helpful. Over the Charles bridge on Mala Strana which is a little quieter than the City Centre but we loved the atmosphere. Good selection is pretty traditional Chech. Apartment had everything we needed and had an air conditioning unit. Rooms clean, beds comfortable and cleaned every day. Would highly recommend. We had room 201 which is at the back and was probably a bit quieter so slept well. Internet was fine.

We had the lovely loft room that was castle facing, with stunning views. As a whole self catering apartment, it had far more space than a hotel room would have done, but also came with the advantage of still having a reception if needed and daily cleaning service.
Location was awesome, right next to some lovely restaurants/bars and just a couple of minutes walk to the nearest tram/bus stop for easy access to the rest of the city. It's less than 10 minutes to get into the main centre and the public transports comes along every few minutes, we never spent more than 5 minutes waiting for the right one.

Despite the local bars, it seemed quiet at night for sleeping.

Room was clean, and whilst the furniture could be a little basic, we appreciated having a washing machine and dishwasher as well as sofa.

The room itself has some lovely wooden beams in the ceiling as a centrepiece that made it very unique.

The man on reception was very welcoming and friendly.

An easy recommendation for anyone looking to spend some time sightseeing the beautiful Prague city.

Second time staying at Three Golden Crowns and excellent both times. Good location with bars/restaurants on the doorstep and an easy walk to central Prague or to Prague Castle. Public transport is cheap and frequent from the airport to this area - simply a fab base to see Prague.

Our stay at 3Gokden Crowns was lovely. The apartment was spacious and clean, staff were kind, the independence of having your own access to the apartment was nice. Great area with public transit, restaurants and grocery store close by. A wonderful stay.wewoukd definitely choose this hotel again when we come back for another visit.

We (senior couple) enjoyed a lovely 6 night stay in a very large room on the 4th floor. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Fridge and washing machine were very useful, very well equipped kitchen. The bathtub/shower was large but there are no grab bars, a bit of a worry for older less able guests. The other concern was the fact that the elevator only went to the 3 rd floor which necessitated a rather difficult climb if one was less mobile or had heavy bags. staff were excellent and very helpful with info. Excellent location! thanks Martin!

We were in the deluxe loft apartment which is very eclectic and unique due to the beams. There was a large living space with all the facilities you would need in the kitchen as well as a separate bedroom and a batroom with access from both the bedroom and living area so good if 4 people sray3. The rooms were not ideal for non able bodied peopl or anyone with young children as there a number if areas whete you had to step up and down approximately an 18 inch drop so potentially hazardous.It was in a grsat lication to walk to old town via the charles bridge or up to the castle and the reception teamcould nit help enough

What a great find. Perfect for a short break to explore the main attractions of Prague. The really friendly receptionist was great and gave us loads of advice e on what to do and where to go and helped us to explore some other aspects of the city. The top floor apartment we had was clean and spacious but had a few steps inside so not suitable for elderly.
Would definitely recommend this for a great few days in Prague. A comfortable, friendly and relaxing place we enjoyed and would stay again.

We had two bookings here. One in the loft apartment and one in a normal one. I would strongly recommend the loft if travelling with family as the layout offers more privacy and has a few better features such as fans, washing machine etc. Overall, great location in the centre of everything, reception staff are very helpful, it is close to a lot of dining options. No complaints really. I would definitely stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The staff was very helpful and informative concerning where to eat and what to do in the area. We booked two apartments and both were clean and had great amenities. We stayed in the loft apartments and both of them had spectacular views. This was a great way to visit Prague with a larger size family. Overall, I was very impressed. If we ever have the opportunity to visit again, we will definitely book again at Three Golden Crowns.
Also, we took advantage of the shuttle to/from the airport. I highly recommend booking through the apartments.

Absolutely beautiful, clean, central and such a comfortable apartment. Would recommend this place to everyone. Right next door to historical landmarks but so peaceful at night. Great little hub area with bars and restaurants but so close to Charles Bridge. Tram stops just a few mins away to links across Budapest.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and to add to this, the house cleaning every day was amazing. Can not wait to visit again.

Charming spot on Prague

Place has a lot of great character. It's in the heart of Lesser town, not far from the castle and just a small walk to the Charles bridge. The location was great. Check in was a breeze and our host gave us great tips on where to go, how to get around and what to avoid. All of it was very helpful.

The apartment room was great. It Overlooking the courtyard and was clean and very charming. We had everything we needed and the house cleaning staff were wonderful. It was convenient to have a kitchenette during our 4 day stay as we could fix ourselves breakfast and keep any dinner leftovers in the fridge.

A couple items weren't great. The rooms wasn't air conditioned and it got a little warm, so we opened the windows at night. It can be a bit loud as the courtyard is shared by a restaurant and the noise level can be pretty loud. Next issue was the staff take smoking breaks in the courtyard and if the windows are open, the room quickly stinks of cigarettes.

Would I stay here again? Most likely, but not during the busy season if I couldn't keep out the noise & cigarette smoke.

We had a superb week's stay at the Three Golden Crowns. The location was perfect for exploring Prague either on foot, or by using the trams 2 minutes away. The reception team were all excellent, helpful and friendly. Restaurants and coffee shops were literally next door and a supermarket a short stroll away. Our room was spotless, cleaned daily and huge, complete with a balcony. Charles Bridge is minutes away and the Royal Palaces are around the corner up a short hill. An awesome place to stay if you're ever in Prague!

Great spacious apartment, simple but clean and comfortable and with everything we needed for our stay with two young children. Cot and high chair were provided. Lift in the building for easy access. Lots of restaurants in the area, walkable distance to Charles Bridge and old town even with small children. Easy access to other areas via tram. Adam from reception was very helpful with answering all our queries prior to our arrival and during the stay, and also helped to organise transport from the airport and to the train station. We had a great stay overall and would definitely stay again should we visit Prague again.

Comfortable stay in Mala Strana

I really enjoyed my stay at Three Golden Crowns. The studio apartment was very spacious and comfortable, and having a kitchen and washing machine was very handy. By the way, I visit Prague every couple of years or so, and I always stay in Mala Strana. Although fairly busy by day, I find that it is much quieter at night than Old Town. And the proximity to places such as Kampa Park, Prague Castle, Petrin and of course Charles Bridge can't be beat. Endless restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from too. And with just a short walk down to Malostranske Namesti and several tram lines to choose from, transportation is easy too.

Overall - very good impression. Cleaninf of the rooms could be much better (missed one day and floor under the dining table was cleaned only once or twice in our 5 night stay).
The weather outside was around 6C at night and 14C during the day and even at those levels it was very warm inside. When tried to turn down the water heaters, it started to make some weird noise from time to time. Had to get up in the middle of the night once to shut it completely off. Tend to think that it could be very hot inside during the summer. Otherwise it is a good choice.

The apartments exceeded my expectation in every way and I will definitely be staying there again. The property is clean, safe, quiet and very well maintained. This will be where we stay every time we go to Prague! The location is perfect! It’s in a quiet area below Prague Castle, and just a 5 minute walk from Charles Bridge. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby! We arrived late, and the communication for late entry was very clear and easy to understand. When we went to reception the next day to check-in, the host exceeded our expectations. He was incredibly friendly, and gave us some helpful tips as a local. He spoke very good English, just like everyone we encountered there. The apartment itself was great, very clean and spacious for our group of three. We didn’t need to use it but it had a stovetop as well as a refrigerator. Not to mention the balcony! I sat outside and drank my tea in the peaceful Prague morning. We paid for parking, and it was worth it as we did get a spot right outside the hotel. I have nothing negative to say about our stay here, and will definitely return in the future.

Spacious Studio Apartment just perfect for a short break. It was equipped with a mini kitchen should you wish to self cater but with many local restaurants both in the area and across Charles Bridge in the Old Town it wasn't personally needed. The Apartment was well maintained and serviced on a daily basis.

The location was perfect, close enough for all the attractions but far enough away from the Centre so that you were not disturbed. My only gripe if their is one, given the Three Golden Crowns location you have to cross Charles Bridge to get to the Old Town which given the number of tourists at this time of year proved challenging at time, I was crossing it twice a day in each direction to meet colleagues, so it did become tiresome, that said the excellent public transport would allow you to get around that particular should you so wish.

In conclusion I would definitely recommend Three Golden Crowns and would consider it again on any future trips to Prague

This stay was truly amazing. It was a spacious well equipped apartment with a fantastic view across the square next to st Nicholas church and across to the castle. All amenities were on our door step. The staff could not be more helpful and welcoming.
We have been to prague before and this accomadation is by far superior to the one on previous trips. So much so we are returning in December.

LOVED THIS PLACE!! The apartments have fully equipped kitchen so we saved money by cooking our own breakfast. The location was outstanding. The street in hotel sits on dead ends at the Charles bridge (5 min walk). The steps to the castle are an 8 min walk. The astronomical clock is a 15 min walk across the bridge. Parking is expensive in the area, but the hotel staff can give directions to cheap parking that's guarded and cheap. We paid 409. In Czech money which is about $18.00 US for 3 days. We will be staying here next time. Great place for a GREAT price

Great place - well located, clean room, easy check in (we arrived after 5 and collected keys at the restaurant - don't panic that reception is closed like I did!). Plenty of space, but only one mirror, which is in the bathroom, so unless you like to share or aren't with any mirror-hoggers, take your own....! I needed an iron in a hurry and asked at reception and they cheerfully obliged. We stayed at Three Golden Crowns because we were attending a wedding at Prague Castle The place was ideally located for the Castle district - just 10 mins walk. The whole area is full of shops and bars and things to see, and in the other direction you can easily head over Charles Bridge into town.

It was quiet at the back of the property. Big room.
We had expectrd a little more sophisticated kitchen arrangements. There was a fridge and 4 ring hob and kettle, but no microwave or toaster, coffee pot or anything to cook in of a medium pan size or larger. Only 2 mismatched glasses. Sufficient plates and mugs. A chopping board, bread knife and pair of scissors would have been handy. The bathroom was spacious and everything worked well. The main room light switches were on the opposite wall to the bed, so one had to walk across the room in the dark! Bed was very comfy and new, but needed a mattress protector and bigger sheets as they kept coming untucked!
We wanted a simple basic and cheap accomodation and it was fine and in an excellent location.There were many apartments in this block so ours may not have been typical. We had a good stay.

Enjoyed our stay her. Basic. Clean appartment had a little kitchen unit and private bathroom. Only issue we had was there was a police vehicle check point. Right outside our window and from about 6:30am you could hear the boots and bonets being opened and closed as they checked them. But I would stay here again and would recommend it. Not a hotel so beds not made everyday and need own shower gel and so on but great please to explore Prague.

Very disapointed. Beautiful picture of premises did not show deficiencies: Dirt in kitchen, black mould on shower hose, TV not working, no cold water in kitchen sink. During evening of 19 Sept, no light bulbs on stairwells and balconies.They were pitch black. Spigot filter on bidet is covered with black mould. Elevator goes only to 3rd floor. Had one room there and the second on 4th, under the attick.

Great location and nice apartment

Great location close to the Charles Bridge but away from the crowds. Also fantastic for short walk to the Castle district. Stayed in the loft apartment which was beautifully renovated with modern kitchen and bathroom whilst keeping magnificent history of all the old ceiling timbers under the roof. The windows opened fully allowing great breezes to cool it down nicely. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Being in the loft we had to go outside our room for WiFi but not a big issue.

Huge apartment! Great location! But our room was really hot, no ceiling fan, had to ask for a floor fan, and that was tricky to run quietly. Restaurant right outside of our window, tried to nap, screaming children woke us up. Music plays until 11:30, and the sound of dishes starts early in the morning.

But the apartment was huge! Great ceilings, and awesome location, all for a good price. In winter the extra heat would be nice, summer not so much. Going to bed immediately after 11:30 is ideal.

The location is the best feature of this place - just a few minutes from Karluv most.
The place is clean, spacious and comfortable, but certain things can be improved.
One is having curtains on the (rather large) windows - it is unpleasant sleeping in a bedroom with curtainless windows facing the street, and a strong street-lamp shining in.
Another is that the amenities are rather minimal (e.g., having some soap would help).

Conveniently located, authentic apartment

Pros:
- Great location: walk to Charles Bridge in 5 minutes
- Big room
- Amazing building, very nice and old
- Very friendly and helpful staff. They looked after our luggage after check out for a few hours
- Enclosed romantic terrace available for guests
- Rooms are overlooking a beautiful courtyard
- Good price

Cons:
- Cold tap in kitchen didn't work.
- Not everything very clean (e.g. mug in cupboard, bath)
- mattress cover was a big sheet, which came undone every night
- Courtyard bit noisy in evening

spacious and excellent location!!!

the room we had was very large, spacious with a well equipped kitchen and a good bathroom.The location was great - outside there are 5 or 6 pavement restaurants / cafes, and its literally 300m to the Charles Bridge - where it all happens. The whole area is surrounded by cafes/ bars/ restaurants , and there is a small supermarket around 125 m away- perfect. The streets are packed and theres a real buzz when you leave the building!! An excellent location!

The location is perfect!

It is very closed to coffee shops, stores,old town and other tourist areas.
The space of the apartments are good enough and it has the essential amenities.

Oksana who was in the reception was very friendly.

The only bad thing will be the wifi. It is not good and it is something essential when you are travelling and planning your trip.

Great Place in a very Convinient location.

The Hotel was located quite well, very close walking distance to the palace and bridge. Lady at the reception was super nice and very helpful. The was some noise one of the nights from the restaurant that is below the rooms but that could be the case anytime and from the other side as there are several bars/shops. Overall a very nice place, even with kids as they set up very comfy beds from the convertible couch in the living room area.

Spacious apartment but limited reception service

Three Golden Crowns offers spacious and warm apartments with basic bed linen (one pillow, single duvet for single occupant), kitchen facilities and crockery. Guests should do their own cleaning. The only downside is the limited availability of staff. Reception is only open from 10:00am to 5:00pm, with check-in ending at 7:00pm. After that, you're on your own. Use the Expedia messaging service if you're going to be late. No guarantee the phone will be answered. I spent my first night unable to collect my key until the next day, all because I arrived after 19:00. Fortunately, Prague has some fast food places open 24 hours in nearby Andel.

Great location and hotel. Just some issues

The hotel was great. The room was clean and big. The bad with the room: the WiFi sucked, it did not work!! We only got signal in a small corner and it was weak. The WiFi from the restaurant next door was better.
No tv in the room. And the street in the back is super loud in the morning.

Nice apartment near Lesser Town Square

We had a wonderful experience staying in Residence Three Golden Crowns, the place was well equipped with amenities that allowed us to stay in Prague comfortably and safely. The room we were given felt very cosy and warm even during the cold winter days. We had a wonderful view of the Prague castle and the St. Nicholas church from our window and the apartment was very close to many restaurants and cafes. There was also a nearby tram stop which allowed for easy access to the public transport system. The apartment was also walking distance from the Charles bridge and the Old Town Square. The apartment staff were very friendly and attended to all of our needs.
All in all, our experience while staying here had been an amazing and relaxing time. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends that are planning to visit Prague in the future.

Like the location of the apartment which is just round the corner of tram station, Malostranske Namesti. Convenient to good and cheap restaurants in the area and to Prague castle, Charles Bridge, Petrin Hill, etc.

Great Stay in the Heart of Prague

Located right in the heart of Prague and a short walk to the Charles Bridge. Our host was very helpful in figuring out the sights of the city. I had a car and was directed to the best nearby parking garage. The rooms have the old world charm of Prague with arched ceilings and are quiet even though the city bustles with tourists constantly. Plenty of eateries and sites within walking distance.
