All of the staff greeted us courteously and were very helpful. Checking -in and checking out were performed very efficiently. The was a great range of choices for breakfast. Our family room was spacious and clean. We were only a short walk from Charles bridge and close to the tram. The location for us during our stay was perfect. We would happily stay here again!

The room was very nice. Big, clean, well decorated and very appropriately equipped.
The place is very quiet- hard to imagine that it is located right in tye city center.
Location is perfect- easy to walk to all major tourist attractions, and endless variety of places to eat and drink around.
Staff were very polite and helpful.
Parking is available only as valley parking, it costs 40 euro per night, and they take your car to some place far away. Your car is inaccessible while away, and you need to say beforehand when you want it back.
Breakglfast was nice, with good variety.

All in all, this is a good hotel in a perfect location. Having said that, in my opinion it is overpriced, especially considering it has no additional facilities (no gym, no swimming pool, and even the reception is at the building next door).

Would stay again, if the modify the price.

The staff were great and our stay was pleasant. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path and sequestered nicely in a dead end so it was quiet during the night. You’re still situated right by the action with the castle a short walk away and the main bridge is down the street.
The complementary breakfast was amazing. So many amazing options that were fresh and hot. I was grateful to have it after a morning hike in the area.
The room was nice, heated floors in the bathroom were so posh. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. We didn’t need parking but it looked like they had a good amount of space if you need it!

This hotel was splendid. The room was a comfortable oasis after a long day of exploring the city. The breakfast is fantastic. The location is amazing. We stayed in Prague in December on the other side of Charles bridge. It was also a great location, but we much preferred being on the side of the river. The courtyard was beautiful and the hotel being tucked into a little corner area was incredible. Most things are very walkable, but there are trams very close also if you want to go further.

We loved this hotel. We had the Deluxe 2 bedroom. It has lots of room, the beds are very comfortable and the living room in the middle was really nice. Breakfast every morning is very good. The hotel was SO quiet since it's back in a corner. Cleaning staff is very good and thorough. The location is perfect, easy to walk to the trams or metro, Charles Bridge, and much else. I would definitely recommend.

Location is perfect. This was my fourth stay at this hotel. I would give it a 5 , but since they remodeled and took away the parking, I find this to be a big inconvenience. The park house they use takes over 20 minutes to walk to. Breakfast was very good along with the lady who worked it, very attentive. Hotel clean, friendly staff.

We loved our stay here. It’s a beautiful place and the location is great but everything dies down sooner than old town. Our room was facing the parking lot and we didn’t experience any noise on the top floor. There are no elevators but they can help you move your stuff upstairs. The valet parking was very convenient and had our car ready in front of the hotel at the time we requested it. The hotel staff were very friendly and gave us a lot of good advice.

First time Prague

Clean, trendy, perfect location, near the city center with multiple restaurants within walking distance but very quiet. Hardwood floors, no carpet and heated bathroom floor was perfect. We had a suite with two rooms suitable for ourselves and preteen/teenager which was perfect. The hotels also sent us a taxi for pick up at the airport. Price with the hotel taxi very reasonable. Desk clerk speak English but you can also use google translate.

Lovely relaxing nights

I stayed here many years ago - price had gone up astronomically. Very comfortable and felt very luxurious. Greeted with a drink which is always a pleasant surprise. Buffet breakfast I thought was fabulous (as a vegetarian) be it fruit, cheeses, bread, pastries, cereals etc. Only frustration is that the bottled water in the room I assumed was free as it is in hotels I stay in which are half or a quarter of the price of this hotel - but they weren’t included. Over all comfortable, great quiet location in lovely part of Prague very walkable to all parts of it though and good access further afield.

- No oat or almond milk; only soy.
- No bar soap
- Expedia was dishonest that Waldstein has its own reception. This is “technically” true but all their guests are managed through the three storks location even during regular working hours. This matters because…
- I twice had to carry my checked and carry-on luggage manually across cobble stones which prevent rolling. This would be impossible for disabled or weaker individuals. No assistance was offered.
- Some rooms are considerably worse than others. Booking several months in advance will not put you in a better room.

- Overall, just book at The Three Storks to avoid disappointment and back injuries. The staff are only mildly interested in addressing these issues.

The location in \"Lesser Town\" beneath the castle was fantastic. While it did mean an addl 10-min walk to attractions in Old Town, it was worth it! We were 5 min walk to Charles Bridge, 3 min walk to the tram/street cars, quiet (Old Town is loud and busy!) and nestled among a labyrinth of cobblestone streets and alleys and each time you look up, you see Prague Castle or St Nicholas. We LOVED the location and the quiet. Our room was wonderful (2 adjoining rooms w sitting room) and the breakfast room underground is really fantastic!

This is the ideal location to stay in Prague. It’s only a 6 minute walk from Charles bridge, yet ideally situated away from the tourist trap areas of Old Town. The staff at Three Stork (the sister hotel of the Waldstein) insisted on carrying the bags upstairs for us. They were available 24-7 for anything we needed. A delicious hot and cold breakfast is available from 7 to 10:30 am daily at the Waldstein in a quaint stony cellar. Unlimited coffee is available in the room from a Nespresso machine.

Great old hotel

The Waldstein is a wonderful property with a few caveats. They have done a masterful job of renovating a building that is hundreds of years old but there are limitations, the bathroom was very cramped but beautifully renovated. There is no elevator and the stairways are tricky, so anyone with mobility issues beware.
The staff was outstanding and the included breakfast was amazing.
It is located below Prague Castle in a very quiet area but close to transit and the Charles Bridge, Prague was incredibly busy while we were there so it was great to be staying some distance from the action but if you are looking to enjoy the night life probably the other side of the river may be your preference.

Wonderful neighborhood and cozy hotel

Location the best of all!! Its in a fantastic location just bellow the Prague Castle, near the bridges and everything, but very silent and secure neighborhood. Only twice we used the public transportation during the 5 days.
The hotel is wonderfull, we had an upper room towards the street on the third floor (europe=4th). It does not have Elevator so watch out!! Those with leg problems, but for us it was no problem.
Very nice and cozy breakfast.

Amazing small boutique hotel well located for easy access to old and new Prague. Breakfast was fantastic every morning in the cave. Room was perfect, updated and comfortable for our family of 3. Well kept, service was impeccable and air conditioning worked well for a hotel of this age. Two warnings. There is no lift so unless you are on the first floor take into account a narrow, steep staircase to carry luggage and up and down a few times a day, for us not a problem but for those with mobility issues could be. Bar, open lobby area is limited and is in the sister hotel The three storks right next to Waldstein. Not a big deal but we were two traveling families that like to play cards, visit at night and that was difficult here ( and I am sure lots of other hotels in Europe) Stay here without reservation. A gem, great value and a true treasure.

Amazing stay 10/10!

10/10 stay at this hotel! Staff and service, especially Petr, was great and very friendly. Family room was very spacious with a queen and two twin beds, perfect for our family of four. The room has AC. There is 24/7 reception present. Location was great right next to the Palace and famous Bridge.
We paid for parking which was great, we left our car and walk everywhere.
Great breakfast buffet with a little bit for everyone.
Overall I would recommend this hotel!

Don’t go there. Profit over customer satisfactio.

I had a bad experience at hotel, Waldstein in Prague. When I woke up this morning, there was no water in my shower. I immediately called the reception and told them the problem. They sent someone to my room to check and sure enough there was no water. The guy told me that it would take about an hour to get someone to fix it. However, I was on my way to Dresden and I couldn’t wait, so I had to leave. And no time did anyone offer me a room to take a shower in. In fact, the manager told me yesterday that if she could’ve upgraded me she would have but the hotel was full. When I communicated with her this afternoon, she told me they would’ve move me to another room had they know what the problem was. But like I say the hotel was supposedly full. When I asked for a refund of my night stay, she told me she would give me €20 discount off of my next stay. I have no intention of staying with this hotel group ever again. She asked me how much I paid for the hotel and I told her $82 and she said yeah that included parking but no I paid an extra €20 to park and for the tax that they had to collect, I don’t feel I need to fight this hard to get my money back for a night. I’ve been a good customer of Hotels.com and I expect them to make it good. I will communicate further with Hotels.com when I return from now this is the best I can do.

The only thing was that Uber take so long to arrive 20 to 25 min every time we requested.

Excellent hotel and amazing staff

We travel with two young kids and had the room that has two rooms and a small sitting area which was fantastic because it helped kids not to wake each other up. The location is excellent, walking distance to everywhere. The hotel was in a historic building which was well maintained but the highlight of this hotel is the staff, Helena at the front desk, the server at breakfast and everyone was amazing! Super friendly and helpful which is very rare to find in Prague. We are planning to come back for longer and stay at this hotel again thanks to the wonderful staff.
