We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Klarov. This beautiful hotel is very centrally located and within walking distance of many sightseeing attractions, restaurants and more. With multiple public transportation stops right across the street from the hotel, it was truly in a perfect location to get around the city easily. The hotel staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable, our room was spacious and well designed and there was a nice breakfast buffet in the morning as well. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit Prague, it’s truly an amazing city and Hotel Klarov was the perfect place to stay while visiting.

If I had to pick something, I would say that the air conditioning unit in our room was hard to manage and didn't seem to work well and also it was not clearly explained that we could use our room card to get back into the hotel after hours.

Location was perfect. Our room had several things broken. It wasn’t anything that we couldn’t live with, but broken. Tiles in the bathroom floor were lose, blind chain was broken (they fixed it), shower spray nozzle wasn’t working properly, and there was a huge stain on the carpet. The elevator was a bit tricky to work, so we ended using the stairs each day. All that being said, others in our group had no such issues. We were in room 302. Pink (singer) themed room.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I had a ground floor junior suite with direct access to the common garden which made it feel much less like a hotel. Location was excellent - steps away from the path up to the castle, a subway station just across the street, and right next to the bridge into the old town. Staff were very helpful and accommodated a 2 hour early check-in. Highly recommend.

This hotel is in an ideal spot to see sights of Prague without staying in the middle of the chaos. Equidistant from the castle and old town, everything is within reasonable walking distance. There was even convenient parking right out front, though admittedly we were there in the off season. The staff is incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make a stay comfortable. Breakfast each day is better than the typical continental. I’m normally a rather harsh travel critic. I can find nothing but positives in this experience. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

We had the Adrea Bocelli room and it was very spacious but a bit awkward with beams crossing in unexpected areas and with the sleeping area upstairs from the bath. Great views though, and lots of room. My biggest issue was that I was not expecting so many stairs in a hotel with a lift. Even in the entry-way, and up to our sleeping area.( so if you are handicapped ir have vertigo it may not be the best place to stay). The staff were very nice and helpful, breakfast was great, and it is in a good location close to old town and the castle. (Nice hotel, just research to be sure it will work for you)

We woke up withs several bites the last night of our stay. This was very unfortunate because other than that, this hotel was awesome and a 10/10. This hotel is conveniently located a block away from a busy tram stop. It is also very walkable to the old part of Prague. It was nice having a good breakfast every morning. The room was comfortable but the only downside is the odd shower/tub. The tub is very high up (so it's a bit precarious) and does not have a full shower door (so water goes all over the place).

Our one complaint is when our son joined us at the last minute and we added him to the room reservation, the extra rollout bed was very expensive (not allowed to write price), and he is tall, so the bed was not at all comfortable. The regular bed was very comfortable. Make sure you book accordingly, and don't add a bed, unless it's for a small child.

We were so exhausted from our travels after a mix-up with our sleeper car travelling from Zurich, we were utterly delighted by the level of customer service we got at Hotel Klarov. They were accommodating and let us check in a bit early. The room was generously appointed, with a fridge, coffee maker, bathrobe and slippers, even a little blanket to hang out on the couch. I really appreciated how whoever designed the rooms, worked in harmony with the historical architecture and added a contemporary, playful but warm feeling with color, texture, and music references. The staff were so helpful even on our check out day, helping us figure out how to use public transportation. The breakfast was hearty and lovingly laid out, with hot and cold options. Our experience was pretty close to perfect. We loved the convenient location. The breakfast was beyond expectations. It was really hot when we were in Prague (85 F) and we appreciated the air conditioning. The hotel is not a good choice for anyone who cannot handle stairs. Even though there is an elevator, you will still have a flight of stairs between the elevator and your room.

We really appreciated the location of the hotel. It was very easy to walk everywhere and very close to the palace. The subway, tram and bus stops were very close yet far away enough so you don't hear any road noise. The hotel staff contacted us before arriving to check if we needed anything and offered to pre order a taxi. We accepted and the driver was waiting for us and the tab was put on our account which was very easy. Bee highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a junior suite. The room was spacious and comfortable. It included a full kitchen with some dinnerware and pots, kettle and pod-style coffee maker (charge for the coffee). Strangely, there was no cutlery. We didn't need it, so we did not mention it. Given their very helpful attitude, I expect they would have supplied cutlery if requested. They also arranged transportation through a local service which was very reliable. We were warned against trusting taxis in this city.

This was a great location being a short stroll to castle and Charles bridge and general top spots in Prague. We loved the location. The hotel has a lift but we chose the stairs which there were plenty of.Helpful enough receptionist who spoke good English. We would go back there as the location is so handy.

I can't really say enough about this hotel, a few negatives, but they don't matter too much compared to the positives. Really really good location, slightly off main foot traffic route, but very close to bridge, so easy access both sides of river. The views from the rooms over look the castle to the right and the river and town to left. The negative is cobbled road outside makes traffic noisy and if you sleep with windows open, as no aircon, you tend to be woken often. Breakfasts are lovely, rooms are spacious and very clean, the staff are beyond helpful. So delightful hotel, will defiantly consider again.

Because of its size, the hotel doesn't have the facilities of a large hotel (e.g. no spa, and there was only a small room that could be used as a lounge where you could make yourself a coffee), but there was a coffee machine and mini bar in the room, and given that after breakfast you are likely to be out seeing the sights of Prague and having lunch and dinner in one of the very many restaurants nearby, the absence of 'big hotel' facilities was not missed.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Klarov. The hotel rooms had recently been nicely redecorated. The included breakfast was delicious. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The location was ideally located near a subway station and was walking distance to just about everything.
Our only issues were with a strange shower set up and the room temperature which was eventually taken care of. We would definitely stay there again though.

As I hoped, Hotel Klarov was in the perfect location- very close to everything, but a little removed from the crowds. It was quiet, and very comfortable, and we all slept well in the comfortable beds with great linens. Great hot water in the shower, and plush robes and slippers. The breakfast was plentiful and very good, and staff members John and Umid were very friendly and helpful to us during our stay. I would book this hotel again, for sure!

Already before we even traveled the hotel staff was in touch with us regarding the type of bed we wanted, asking if we were traveling with children and/or pets as well as asking if we needed a transfer from central station. They also included a list of restaurants, tours and extras that could be booked for rather moderate prices.
We opted for the transfer (a fair 14 Euros) and the driver of the hotel limousine waited for us at the main station. He carried our luggage to the car and soon we arrived. While the house valet took our suitcases to the room we were checked in quickly and efficiently in a very personable manner. Afterwards the valet took us on a tour through the house, told us a bit about Prague and then showed us our room.
The room was fairly large and the two windows gave us a direct view at Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral up on the hill. Especially at night this view is marvelous. One slight draw back. Rooms with castle view are out to the street and you will hear the traffic as well as the squeaking of the street cars. But the old double windows keep most of the noise out so sleeping was never a problem. As ordered we had a bottle of ice cold champagne waiting for us (one of the extras you could choose from). It was the perfect beginning of this wonderful visit to the ancient city of Prague.

We were very happy with the location of this hotel - very close to Prague Castle and the bridge going to Old Town, yet far enough away from the hordes of tourists to be relaxing. The rooms were a little worn but quite spacious. The complimentary breakfast was also very good with an excellent selection. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the reception staff as they did not speak very much English. Also, there was very little sound proofing and the hotel plays music all day and night in the lobby and hallways - we had to call the front desk in the middle of the night twice because the music was so loud we could not sleep.
