It is a good spot for cheap if you just need sleep I suggest you take bleach or disinfectant to clean you will need it. I had my own bed linens and towels the hotel provided a few that were rough take your own everything I suggest and get there early enough to clean things. Property has been semi updated and rooms are tiny. Cheap and you get what you pay for here.

The parking lot was one way which was never communicated to me. The room was small, like had to walk sideways to get around the bed. The sheets were stained and the comforter had burn holes in it. The pillows were flat with maybe 1/2\" inch of fill in them. The sign on the building stated that the rooms were newly remodeled but the floor was warped, the walls had cracks in the corners where the tape and mud was coming off the wall and when you turned on the cooler it smelled of cigarettes. When I asked for a different room I was told no and that they would not refund me. We did not even stay one night and got another hotel. I was told that because we checked in and then left (without going to the room) for dinner there was nothing they could do about the room.

My stay was uncomfortable overall. The pillows were extremely flat and did not provide enough support, which made it hard to sleep. There were no electrical outlets near the bed to plug in my phone, which is very inconvenient since most guests rely on their phones at night. The toilet seat was also positioned too close to the wall, making it uncomfortable to sit and use properly. These issues made the room feel poorly designed and not very guest-friendly.

The room was very basic, but clean. Most of the other accommodations in that area are a LOT more pricey than this was, so we opted to save the $$. There were several occupants who walked to the location, and several had many visitors to the room overnight, but we locked our car and our door, and did not have any interruptions

My wife and I only stayed there for one night. You get what you pay for. It's a decent room to lay your head down for the night.
Seemed clean enough, only thing that was a little off putting was one of the pillows cases were stained pretty bad. Definitely needs a little renovation due to people that have stayed there in the past tearing up the place, probably tweakers.
The staff was very friendly and professional.
It's in a bit of a sketchy area, but we didn't have any issues thankfully. They did have a good amount of cameras, and they kept it very well lit. I'd recommend making sure to take any and all valuables inside your room for the night, and if you have to leave the room during your stay, just make sure you take them with you.
If I needed an inexpensive place in Dallas to sleep for the night, I would consider this place again.

The staff lady was not welcoming at all, the room was clean , towels were super thin, ac and heater worked , the neighborhood was alright, I heard gun shots as soon as I checked in , if you’re planning on having guests I would choose another place

Only giving a one because the owners were so nice. Had multiple people tell me once I got here that we were not in a good part of town. We also got there the first day and the sheets on the bed were stained, it took 3 sets of sheets to find on that was kinda ok to sleep on. I was willing to look past all of this and just move on with life but unfortunately I got home and found lice in my hair. Definitely do not recommend.

Staff was extremely rude, room was dirty, internet was literally dial up speed, offered hourly rates if that tells you anything lol, 10x10 foot jail cell sized room, broken bathroom door, broken tv remote so no tv, and its in Oak Cliff which is the ghetto. Wouldnt stay here again if it was my only option, rather sleep in my vehicle, and i traveled and lived in hotels for work for years, so im not the pickiest person. 1/10

My daughter traveled two hours to come see me. She wasn’t gonna stay. The girl who runs the office came banging on the door like it was the police and said I have to pay for the other one itinerary said two people only so her son I didn’t have to pay for a book for her. I had to pay for Evyn even though she was not staying. It would leave the door until I agree on $10-$30. I think they only did that because she was darker than the rest of us as far as skin wise and I explained to her after I paid it. I understand this is a rough area, but there is people out here that’s not ghetto nasty trifle, inconsiderate, or anything of the such her and her father I’m assuming came down like they were gonna jump us tragedy. I wouldn’t rent here. I rented previously some years back when I first got to Texas cause we was passing through I wouldn’t do it again

Very nice for a one person room. Hot water and A/C worked lovely. TV was a bit busted. It's price it was definitely worth it if you're looking for a cheap place to stay. Also staff was very nice!!

It was good for a small motel but their bathroom tap was broken. Room was almost clean and no other issue except a neighbor room didn't allow me to sleep because of weed smoking odor. I am wondering why people travel while they can't quit smoking for a few hours. They were friendly and i am satisfied in general.

Walked in. Saw burn hole and stains in comforter. Barely able to walk around bed. Floor was not level... im talking about a gooooood slope. Could hear adjacent rooms barely talking.

I walked out, bioked another room and did not even try and ask for my room to be cancelled because they had a \"no refunds\" sign on the window.

Never will inever go here again. Take this off the platform.

The room is very small. There were multiple types of hair on the sheet, pillows and blanket. The floors were dirty and the entire room looked/felt dingy. The owners were friendly. I chose this hotel because it was very close to an event I was attending, it was very inexpensive and I was just going to be there long enough to sleep.

It's located in a terrible area. The linen was filthy. The towels had what looked like pubic hair in them. I booked for 4 nights and didn't stay a single night because I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. There was a large man in a chair outside of my door asking for hugs ... I definitely don't recommend this hotel.
And when I complained and asked for a refund I was denied through the hotel and Expedia. It ruined my plans for my vacation. Thank God I had a friend near to help. Please don't rent here .

It did it was required to do and give me a place to sleep that night when I recommend it to a friend not unless they were broke I needed a place to stay for the night. I didn’t use the bedding I brought my own which I’m glad I did, but it was a dry place. It was clean. They tried to upgrade it and make it look a little nicer which it did. But you can tell is old and the people that typically stay there are not the most trustworthy. Staff was nice and they were easy to deal with.

The staff got gready! On the app mentioned that I had early check in; when went to check in 15 minutes before 12 noon the manager charged me 20 extra dollars that he didn't even use the computer for a receipt. When I entered the room the AC had to be reset at the outlet plug as the controls were broken. Do not stay, unless you have a pick up date

The Internet in this place is horrible. The further you get back towards the end of the building the more the Internet does not work. This is my second room at this place and this time he put me further back away from the router. I basically have no service. The walls in this place are so thick that they cannot even penetrate a regular cell phone signal. The room he put me in is Just comfortable. You cannot open the refrigerator door because it is butted up against the nightstand so every time you attempt to open it, you kind of gotta squeeze your items inside. On top of how they treated me and accuse me of having multiple people in the room I don’t know why I decided to stay here again , I am very unhappy with my purchase seem to be nice people, but this place could use a little more work and a lot more kindness

Bates Motel on The Outside, Artsy on the Inside.

Driving in I expected to hear \"Welcome to the Bates Motel.\" However entering the cramped but clean and modern decor of the room gave me a different perspective. Economically priced, no space went unused. I considered sitting sideways on the toilet so my feet wouldn't have to be placed in the shower...LOL. THE TELEVISION WAS Netflix and instructions on the screen where in Spanish. If you are bilingual or read Spanish this might be a plus. Lots of restaurants, mostly delicious Mexican food, surround the area with plenty of shops and easy access to the Bishop Arts District of Oak Cliff. No in room phone to communicate with the front desk but a short walk to the window and a clerk will quickly assist you. Parking is free with small parking spaces. My F-150 barley fit between the lines. Mostly quite a loud scufful next door or what might have been the rearranging of all the furniture in the room at the same time caused me some temporary concern. Wifi was free and operational. Not handicapped friendly due to the cramped room space.

The room was very small, but I understand you get what you pay for sometimes. The pillows were so awful we had to roll up clothes to prop our heads. The TV or the WiFi (not sure which) was so horrible it wouldn't stream for more than 3 minutes without resetting and making us go back to the start. We weren't given the wifi password for our phones. There were literally no cups in the room; so if you need to take any medication, please bring your own cup - we had to try to scoop water in our hands to take our medication. The toilet wouldn't fully flush the toilet paper, and the sheets had bleach strains. The room is VERY small, as is the restroom. I had to put my feet on the edge of the shower to use the toilet. Also, there were not plugs to charge devices next to both sides of the bed.
On a positive note, the A/C was cold, the mattress was fine, the fridge worked well. Also, the front check in area gentleman was very nice and polite both at check in and check out. He was the highlight of our stay.

To sit down on the toilet, you have to put your feet in the shower. We left early one time, thinking our room would be clean however I had to take out the trash and towels. We asked for extra pillows, we couldn’t have any. The toilet was dirty and had hair.

If you’re traveling alone please don’t stay here! I had men come up to me asking for money (clearly was on drugs) there was an abandoned house right next door. When I was waiting on my Uber the manager came out asking if everything was okay and waiting with me. (In the middle of the day). When I got there no one other visitors were there and they still charged me $30 each dollars for early check in. I ended up checking out and going to another hotel where I felt more safe! The management didn’t speak good English and they also wouldn’t refund me any of my money back.
