The rooms are minimalistic but very comfortable. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The breakfast is very good and the staff of the hotel are very friendly. The air condition dont reach a good temperature and the room was a little bit warm. But in general, it is a good hotel, very clean, well located. I recommended 100%

The staff is extremely rude. From the moment i checked into the front desk staff was very rude. They dont hide the fact they do not like Americans. It makes you feel unwelcome. I could not wait to check out. Also the restaurant manager talks down to his staff and guests. He's a very rude man. If youre looking for a cool olace to stay in Madrid this is NOT the place!

Weird bathrooms no water taps

They offered robes and slippers and bed was comfy enough but the room could’ve been cleaner and the bathroom setup was really odd. Th shower was in the entrance with all around glass panels, the toilet was separate without a sink and door was too large so you had to use toilet with the door open or sit on toilet to close the door. The sink was in the middle of the room and inside the vanity yet the vanity would not stay open. The other inconvenience was that there weren’t any taps to fill bottles with cool water so when I used some water at breakfast I was rudely told not to do that and that I should go to the street to get water as Madrids water is potable which granted it is but it is not cool and is not inside the hotel.

Beautiful hotel building on the Gran Via, so expect lits of activity and street noise.i travel with a sound machine, which helped with the noise. I think our room was a standard room, so clean snd spacious with wood laminate flooring. It's and older hotel so you have a chain operated elevator and bathroom is dated but very clean. I asked for a view and quieter room, so away from elevator and with a stunning view of the Telephone Building across from hotel.

Breakfast was delicious as well, with endless options of cheeses, fruit, meats, and baked items - definitely worth adding to the booking! It would be 5 stars but the room had no amenities besides 2 towels and 1 water bottle (nothing additional that you might expect such as a shower cap, iron/steamer, mini fridge, notepad/pen, or instructions to the call front desk).

It was only one night and it was ok. The problem with a lot of hotels in europe is there is no air conditioner and it was already hot. They put a fan in my room and it was ok. It was nice of them not to charge the breakfast that I confirmed but did not have. Great location

No air conditioning though this is advertised on website so window had to stay open which made sleep difficult due to street noise all night, reception did not respond to requests regarding this. Beds were not as booked and enquires revealed the particular situation booked did not exist. Socket was faulty.

The room was in very poor condition. The bed had a very hard mattress, the sheets were of poor quality and torn. The bathroom tub was very dirty and clogged. The hair dryer was over 30 years old and had a plug around it. The towels were dingy and very old. There was no hand cream. This is a very poor quality hotel, due to its location. Algo para resolver pero no para quedarse

La locación es muy buena, pero las camas son la peor de lo peor, me cayó la ducha y me golpeó en la cabeza y el recepcionista aunque me pasó a otra habitación lo escuchamos burlándose de mi con el otro chico de servicio. Había una joven que si excelente, pero pongámosles 0 a los demás. El desayuno es ok, no tengo quejas. Algo positivo que tiene que no escuchas el sonido de la calle dentro, pero si el de las personas en el pasillo.
