There was blood on the threshold above the bathroom. The room was dusty enough to make my husband who doesn’t have allergies struggle to breathe and snore which he never does. There were cigarette burns in the bathroom and the linen on the bed. Dirty glue rat traps. I went in cleaning as to not complain. There was an odor. The toilet barely flushed. There was dried bodily fluid on the chair. Paint stains on the carpet among other stuff. barely any plugs to charge phones. I will never return.

They use this place as a shelter for homeless

I had an event that I had to travel to for family so I didn’t get to my room until after 4 AM when I got to my room there were feces on the toilet. It was vomit and food sticky all on the carpet in the room where the beds were there weren’t any linen towels the bathroom look like it had been ram shack so they gave me another room this time a king it had blood on the wall blood on the lamp, and there were roaches crawling everywhere. And I never got a chance to stay I could not sleep. I had to go and sleep on somebody’s couch. I traveled all the way from Albany. I was charged 200+ dollars to where I wasn’t even able to stay in the rooms because they were so disgusting. The people that they’re keeping their are homeless so you’re dealing with people walking in the halls at night yelling and screaming out loud because they’re high out of their mind. There was a woman across from one of my rooms yelling about Percocets. She was high out of her mind. This place is not safe for people that are coming out of town with Children. They keep this hotel as a shelter for the homeless and it’s not clean. There are roaches, crawling all in the hallways all on the wall

The room was worn out and in complete disrepair. There were insect glue traps all over. The common areas were in disrepair. It was scary to stay there. Front desk staff was behind solid glass and spoke through a microphone.
Amazing that this property was associated with, what I thought, was the reputable chain Wyndham.
And the cost per night was an expensive, $200 a night.

Don't use this property. I'm very mad about the booking and want a refund from hotels.com. I arrived at the hotel later in the evening and tired. Found the front desk was behind bulletproof glass. The cafe/restaurant was closed and secured behind a security fence like you see at the mall. The room numbers were written in sharpie on blue painters tape. Everything was stained and battered. The paint on my room door was mostly scraped off. The security latch on my room door was broken off. The fire alarm in the room was chirping. When I opened my door to return to the front desk for another room, there were two Newburgh PD officers next door responding to a \"disturbance.\" While I was waiting at the front desk for a new room, the officers came back down to the lobby. I asked them if this was a safe location and they said \"do you want to know the truth? We wouldn't stay here.\" While talking to the PD, another couple returned to the front desk and turned in their key. Said they couldn't stay there since the quality was so poor. The woman behind the bulletproof glass would not give them a refund. The place was unclean, and I felt unsafe. I just left the property, and had to drive 30 miles to find alternate accommodation.

Hotel looked like in the midst of renovation. Paint on carpets. Garbage on floor. Room numbers were written on masking tape stuck to the door. Chairs in the room were dirty. Hairdryer broke. Leaky faucet. Refrigerator not working. Air conditioner had a bad smell. Fitness room was locked with a padlock. I think there was either no elevators or not working. Heard customers complaining when we were checking in and checking out. We only stay because no other places available. I had to check our beds meticulously for bed bugs.

The hotel is under renovation and not ready for guests. The room carpet was filthy with construction debris and other unknown stains. The TV didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work. The room numbers were written on tape and stuck to the doors. The door casings were not replaced. The beds and bedding were both lumpy and dingy. This hotel is the stuff nightmare’s are made of! Firstly, there are stairs everywhere and no elevators or ramps. Room doors have huge holes in them that are now covered by cardboard. There were at least three busted out windows on the first floor outside. My room smelled like a bar back when everyone smoked. One set of curtains were thrown across the chair. There were blood and urine stains on the pull down fabric window shades that no longer functioned and just stayed down making the room pitch black. There was stains on the carpet everywhere! I was scared for any of us to walk barefoot. All the stairwells had writing on the walls, the stairs were literally falling apart as was the bedroom furniture. The carpet baseboards were frayed and in some cases pulled off the walls. There were people everywhere that seemed to be on drugs, selling drugs, or prostituting. My family witnessed several baggies with white powdery substances along with cut straws in the hallways. I was blocked by a very vulgar lady that pushed me as she tried to touch my Uncle who was in a wheelchair, he is elderly with Down Syndrome and she literally wanted to fight me because I asked that she stop blocking the door entrance to the hotel and allow us in. Her response was to then start touching my elderly uncle so I told her not to touch him. This resulted in her pushing me then attempted to let everyone but me in but my family didn’t allow it. Don’t stay here! It is unsafe! We were scared the whole time!

The room was in rough shape with damaged walls and scuffed furniture. The front desk staff were not friendly and spoke very little English. I felt unsafe. The security lock on my door was broken and the cleaning staff opened my door while I was in my room about 20 minutes after I checked in to the hotel. Also, on my second night, I arrived from dinner to find five police cars at the hotel with two police casing the first floor hallways in pursuit of a suspect. It was not a very relaxing nor pleasant experience. Also there are 3-4 steps after every couple of rooms, and this makes it difficult to roll your luggage to and from your room.

The windows were left opened for air conditioning which we didn’t notice till next morning with birds chirping sounds. Stuff was unfriendly and refused to give extra soap. Hair dryer was broken. I was just the worst and scariest place I’ve ever had to stay. The worst part was I was charged for $380 just because it was a busy weekend and all the hotel in area were sold out. First annoyance: no ice machine - which in all fairness was strategically omitted from the description. The restaurant and bar were shuttered, and there was no breakfast (another strategic omission). The back door would not operate; thankfully, all you had to do was yank on it really hard to get in. The keys stopped working after several hours. The room had ants.

On the positive side, the front desk clerk was a nice guy; he helped by getting the baggage cart for me. The a/c worked great; so did the fridge and microwave. The bed was serviceable. The TV was too.

If I hadn't already lugged half a carload of stuff into the room by the time I realized what I was in for, I would've left. The old adage is so true: you get what you pay for. Thank you, Ramada, for forcing me to stop my stupid deal hunting, bite the bullet and find an Airbnb.

The paint was chipping on the walls, the furniture was filled with chips and peels, the shower tub was cracking and had a big burnt mark, the couch and chair offered by the bed and table was stained. The receptionists tried to tell me that my card was declined even though I booked it through expedia, she then didn’t mention why my card was declined but just gave me the keys to the room I was staying in. I never once gave her a card for her to charge and my card on file was through Expedia and Apple Pay so that was weird almost felt like she way trying to scam me. Either way the pictures are misleading and outdated. Definitely won’t return to this place

Booked this room last minute. Upon pulling into the parking lot, we saw two police cars leaving the premises. There was a man parked in front of the entrance, relieving himself next to a car. We pulled around the back parking lot to turn around and there was 4-5 men drinking and sitting on top of their cars. We felt very unsafe and did not want to stay there with our young children. I called the property, no answer. I left a message through Expedia, no answer. I contacted Expedia to get a refund and the property denied it because I didn’t walk into the lobby. I called multiple times and left messages, I did not want to take that risk of parking my car and walking into the establishment. I’m a young woman in my 30s with 3 kids.

I have stayed at other Ramada hotels and by far this property was not up to par. The moment we arrive there was vagrant people in the front, walked into the lobby and the ceiling tiles were removed from many spots and the counter was surrounded by bullet proof glass. Once we checked in the room was not any better, there was a foul odor, musty and old type of smell. The bathtub had rust all over the drain and the faucet the bed spread had wholes. The pictures posted to this property are from some time a go. Not the current condition of the property. We call Expedia CS, and after a long conversation the CSR was able to have the mngt say they would refund the payment but after a few days we received an email form expedia saying that they would not refund the payment and instead they offer a $25 credit...Not very happy with the whole experience......

First thought is why do Ramada and Wyndham even associate their names with this location? We were rushed for time and booked based on reputation and pictures. Should have taken the time to read the reviews.

The pictures are obviously very old. The place doesn't look like that anymore. Very misleading. And there was no nightclub I noticed. All amenities I saw were shut down, including the exercise room, restaurant, and pool. Lobby is very uninviting with security glass between the employee and customer. The entire building is in disrepair and grounds are not maintained. The first room we were given: most of the lights didn't work, toilet kept running - could not flush, it smelled, bathroom dirty, no instructions on how to reach front desk, but phone didn't work anyway. That's as far as we got before walking back to the lobby to request another room. Requested 2nd.floor. No elevator, but only one flight so climbed the stairs. Toilet also ran all night, rug dirty, smelled but not as bad as the first room, shower dirty, a resident spider with large web and dead bugs. Did not look further. Afraid of what we'd find. The fact this was advertised as being a room normally costing over $200 is ridiculous. We paid a discounted rate of $160 which is still ridiculous. Honestly I wouldn't stay for free.

Then when we got back to hotel at night, no front man, and the secured door to the rooms were opened by a shoe. Anyone came just go in & out. We did not feel safe and double locked our room. I booked this property through Expedia and when we arrived and examined our room, the whole building was old and beat up, the rooms were in exceptionally poor condition, the bedsheets were stained and there was a plastic bag taped over the smoke detector. We immediately called Expedia to try for a refund and rebooking elsewhere. They contacted the manager who said we first had to \"check out\". We handed back in the key and left, hoping that they would refund based on them providing us no services. Ultimately the owners refused to refund our payment even though we refused to stay. So my recommendation...don't stay here unless it is a last resort.

Cockroaches everywhere
Even babies.
TV didn’t work
Hot water in bathroom sink didn’t work
Major water damage on walls and ceiling.
The floor was saturated by the AC.

It was not suitable for renting
I paid $311 with extra insurance for 2 nights and it wasn’t worth $50 a night.

I want a refund or I won’t even consider going back after the renovations.

Good thing we only needed to stay one night. They place is very run down. Wires hanging all over the outside. Plastic totes collecting water in the hall way from what I assume is a roof leak. No hot water in the shower. Luke warm water in the sink. Handle was busted off the close cabinet, the fabric on the chairs looked like it has not been cleaned I. 40 yrs. NASTY is a nice way to put it.

The hall carpet was soaked with water open ceiling tiles leaking water. Rented 2 rooms (112 & 114)both had visible water damage above the bed. One room headboard was warped from water. One room no HOT water. The remote control was broken with blue painters tape on it. This hotel is a wet DUMP.

I didn’t like anything, it was roach infested, dirty, toilet had blood on it in my first room, the top sheet the was on the blanket had a huge pee stain on it. The halls mold , ceilings to and peeling wall paper. The room and the halls smelled really bad . The pool was not available to use or the gym was nos locked, there was lots of ceiling panels missing. We couldn’t take a shower because the water was freezing cold.

We walked into the lobby, were horrified at the conditions and walked out. Drove another 90 minutes to find another hotel.

The entire property was in disrepair. It reeked of cigarette smoke. Felt very unsafe. Homeless people in the parking lot. The hotel staff sit behind a glass wall with a small slot they pass the paper and key out to you from, zo obviously they dont feel safe. Definately would not recommend. We did not stay.

Having worked in social services with homeless people, it is clearly evident that this particular Ramada must be taking federal stipends to house homeless people in crisis. The hotel in general smells like mildew and must as well as cigarette smoke the whole time. There are holes in the walls, nasty filters in the air conditioning and heating systems, stains all over the curtains.

When I arrived police were in the hotel to remove vagrants. Odors were bad. Left some clothes in the dresser when I left. I immediately called within hours and manager told me there were no clothes in my room. The staff had to have taken them.
