My room was in a different building, over a liquor store. I'm not sure if the liquor store was still in business as I arrived quite late. Felt rather isolated as I arrived quite late, in the dark, and went up the steps over the liquor store away from anyone else. The room was very tattered - stains on the furniture. Stains on the walls. Used towels hanging in the shower. I think the sheets may have been clean, at least. But really a very unsavory experience.

The price is right and it is centered in the middle of the Hudson towns that I wanted to visit. Plenty of hot water! Easy to travel on Route 9 north and south. Near the village of Cold Spring, a quaint town with nice restaurants. The room was very clean but showing signs of wear. The shelf above the sink was falling off. The vent by the toilet was rusty. The television control did not respond and turn on the TV 2 days out of 4. But the bed and covers were comfortable and I will stay there again!

Overall a pleasant stay at a countryside motel, just like the name suggested. The condiiton of the motel is Okay as for many motels in this country. The room is clean, bed sheet and towels you can smell laundry cleaness which made the stay a pleasant one. The price is good so overall it is a good value stay for one night.

This is a conveniently located, clean, comfortable, safe, low-cost, no-frills motel, the kind where you bring your own toiletries and hair-dryer and might have to ask for extra towels. (Think Schitt’s Creek, not fancy nor pretending to be). Beds are great and showers are hot. Everyone at the desk is completely friendly and helpful. I have stayed here multiple times and can totally recommend this property.

This Motel is overpriced for the dirty bedroom and bathroom you are given. The staff does not clean the rooms on the weekends. Bring your own cleaning supplies. The window unit was moldy and loud. The door has gaps and you do not receive the key to the deadbolt. If your expectations are not high, this is a half step up from sleeping in the car. At least the staff was nice and there were no bugs.

The remote for the TV wasn’t working, which is kind of a bummer, and the fridge could use a hard scrubbing. I would stay there again in a pinch since all I needed was a bed and a shower essentially.

The place you check in had metal bars - seemed to indicate the area was not safe. The motel is ~ 150 ft from a busy road and is not soundproofed. So, as traffic builds around 5 o'clock, it's like an alarm clock.
The mattress was very hard and had a good slope to it.
The outside and inside of the rooms are shabby. The inside is dark. While they may be clean, the overall appearance caused me to wonder how clean.
I think the key plus for this place is it's cost.

The motel was clean and the bedding was immaculate. The room was very basic and had very few ammenities. My predominant problem was that I had requested a handicap accessible room as I am mobility impaired and was told on arrival that long term tennants already had the only 2 handicap rooms. We managed for 1 night but it was neither comfortable, nor possible to bring my wheelchair into the room.

I was disappointed the 1st room had a jacuzzi that was only big enough for 1 person not as advertised and the hot qatee squealed so loud when filling it up. I complained and asked for the ofher jacuzzi room which i was charged extra money for and that room had water stained ceilings, mold around the jacuzzi, all bottoms and knobs didnt work and nog enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi ar one time along with the people who lived upstairs and had kids jumping and running around until 9pm and up super early on a sunday jumping and banging on the ceiling. They did not offer me any money back or lower the rates at all. I wouldnt recommend this place for the jacuzzi rooms or if your looking for peace and quiet. If i am not offered a credit i will be asking my credit card company to dispute rhe charges

They had bed bugs we just wanted to really relax in the jetted bath tub but we always have a black light with us and when we scanned the bed we saw the bed bugs. We told Mangagement and received a refund immediately. Thank goodness we didn’t bring anything into the room yet.

Total no frills. Room was super tight and extremely outdated. No ac. Jet tub was fantastic though. Surprised to see the bars at the check in. Gave the impression that I was at a check cashing place in a bad neighborhood. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

My partner and I were desperate to find a room in the area to spend an extra night and this was the only place that had something available at a whopping $248/night (FYI: we spent the previous night in a beautiful and historical B&B with full sit-down breakfast, working fireplace and an impeccable facility for $200). My expectations were fairly low because we were going to a Motel and we were in a bind (beggars can’t be choosers) although I figured for the price, maybe there was hope, but it appears this was just a case of price gouging due to the holiday weekend.
The room was poorly lit, the couch was dusty and filthy along with every nook and cranny, scrapes and dents in the walls, the smoke detector was removed, a stain in the kitchen that looks like yogurt was flung on the wall and worst of all when I removed the comforter, there were a couple of stains (see picture) that looked like vomit or feces. That was the final straw. If I was traveling with my band and we paid $50(max)/night, maybe I would stay here out of desperation, but not on vacation and for $248. When I brought these issues up, they then offered to change the sheet or give me another room (although apparently the one I booked was advertised as the last one available). Obviously at this point we were too disgusted to stay and just traveled home.

It looks like the owners are making upgrades bit by bit -- some of the furnishings are newer and in fine condition, others look like they've been there since the '80s. The motel is conveniently located for the events we were in town to attend, the price for a room is reasonable, and the sheets were clean, so it served our purpose well.

A bad experience for several reasons
I got to this hotel, which was just past an industrial part of town, and upon entering the lobby I was very uneasy as there were bars across the window to the front desk. I asked the gentleman if they were needed in this section of town and he explained that he lives upstairs and that the door is unlocked 24x7. Still, very creepy. My room turned out to be in a section of the hotel located on the second floor of a building housing a liquor store. The room was freshly vacuumed and the bedding appeared to be fresh, but the cleanliness of the rest of the room was awful. The microwave was covered in greasy fingerprints on the outside and the inside was stained with food residue. The heater/AC vents were dusty and the controls too. The toilet seat was up in the bathroon and it appeared not to be clean. I thought I saw a bit of residue left in the toilet and there was definitely a ring around it. I flipped the bedspread back to see if the bedding was clean. It appeared it was, but the spread hit the floor, so I didn't put it back on the bed (because who wants what is on the floor in the bed?) I wiped everything down with my disinfecting wipes, but given the dirty condition of the hotel, the liquor store and the bars on the window in the lobby I just didn't feel safe in this place. The gentleman was nice and said if I didn't stay in the room he wouldn't charge me. Since the bedding had ended up on the floor I didn't press for the refund and let him decide. Not for me.

The Room was clean. However the room was not a part of the hotel proper it was a quarter of mile away from the hotel over a liquor store. The stairs were absolutely vile. Please just vacuum and clean the garbage out. We were greeted very warmly. And as I said the room was clean. However I asked for a queen size bed and it was a full-size bed. Although it was comfortable it was too small.

It's always off-putting when there are bars at the office window between you and the check-in person. The desk clerk was very friendly and the room itself was clean and quiet but we were in rooms above a liquor store and the hallway carpet was very stained and looked filthy. There's a good reason this hotel is cheaper than the nearby chains although at $80 we naively expected more.
