Bare minimum room near Marseilles

I arrived late to this hotel (after midnite) and someone was in reception to check us in but there were no lights in the stairs or hallway which made it difficult to find our room. It was a minimal hotel room with only a sheet and one pillow but it was sufficient. It did have a clean bathroom. However there appears to be no coffee or tea available.

Short stay in France

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was very basic and had to change room as aircon was not working. No lift to top floor, all stairs. We had a noisy guest next door shouting from some dispute with partner so kept us awake. Positives, food was good, friendly staff, free parking and dog friendly. Cheapish hotel in a high end city...

Overall I was fairly happy. On the plus side, very warm and comfortable bed with a TV even though I don't speak French! Shower was adequate. Powerful but hand held. Could have done with an extra shelf for a shaving mirror to stand on. The biggest downside is that there is free Wi-Fi but it doesn't actually work in the room! From a location point of view, I should have done more research before booking. This was my first time in Marseille and I'm not exactly the most experienced of travellers. Luckily I had a French friend who helped me the first time we journeyed to the centre of Marseille. After breaking my public transport anxiety, it became very simple catching the bus and Metro. Unfortunately if you stay out too late you will probably need a taxi back which was about 20 to 25 Euros. For this reason, I will look for something closer to the centre next time.

Disappointed with room, no shower rail, no hairdryer, no kettle, very basic and smelt musty. No bottled water in room, no common area, microwave, fridge or tea and coffee facilities which were all promised in hotel description.

Amazing dinner

Excellent location for the old port and the stadium. Room was comfortable and had what we needed.
The food at dinner was amazing. Freshly cooked, French food at a crazy good price. If you stay here the dinner will be worth it!

Kein Kühlschrank. Das Hotel Is sehr weit von Zentrum. In der Nacht gehen die Busse jeder 1,5 Stunde. Der letzte um 1.15 Uhr.In diser Lage is gar nichst. Nicht mehr wieder. Der Preis für den Aufenthalt sehr teuer. Frühstück zum kachen.

WE PAID 57€ TO GET TO THE HOTEL FROM THE AIRPORT

Far away from the city centre (you have to use metro and bus to get there), no public transport after 10 PM, no airport-pick up as it was stated on their site, no buffet breakfast - just continental one, staff do not speak English, broken lock on the room door!

Pour petits budgets pas trop exigeants

Hôtel vieillissant qui aurait besoin d'une rénovation, seules les fenêtres et volets roulant sont modernes.
Salle de bain microscopique, vmc en panne, beaucoup de buée, écoulement de l'eau très lent, literie bien usagée, porte difficile à fermer, insonorisation très moyenne... le prix est raisonnable et en rapport avec les prestations, heureusement !
J'y avais déjà séjourné 4 ans avant et je trouve que ça s'est dégradé, il y a très peu de personnel et on comprend que ça va pas aller en s'améliorant : 1 seule personne à l'accueil et au petits déjeuners, personne dans les couloirs le matin pour faire les chambres, tu te demandes si c'est pas la personne de l'accueil qui les fait aussi l'après midi...

Första rummet vi fick på andra våningen stank av rök trots att det ska vara ett rökfritt hotell. Precis utanför entrén stod folk och rökte. Rena men väldigt enkla rum. Sällan någon i receptionen. Restaurang och sparsam bar med stor helt ok uteplats. Bra med parkering. Ok för en övernattning. 50min gång in till Marseille.

Franchement en depannage d'une nuit ok mais pas plus je suis rester une semaine mon dieu beaucoup de souci dans la chambre j'ai pas etait a la reception car cela n'aurait rien changer j'ai manger une fois dans leur restaurant 23 euro pour un coca et une assiete avec une saucisse et des pates honteux wifi inexistante canal + sois disant mais non enfaite

Hôtel empestant la cigarette partout, des marques de brulures même dans les chambres (sol, table de nuit). Le linge était troué et/ou taché.
Restaurant avec des plats simples mais copieux et bien exécutés. Néanmoins on croise le matin ou le soir des personnes faisant partie des propriétaires ou famille des propriétaires en pyjama et ces personnes fument donc ils laissent les fenêtres ouvertes. Cela ne change en rien l'odeur de cigarette mais en plus il fait froid.

Salle de bain à revoir, pas de sèche cheveux pommeau de douche cassé et carrelage de la douche qui se décroche...pas du tout d'insonorisation dans la chambre confort des aller et venu en pleine nuit bruyante. Déçue également du petit déjeuner qui annonçait un buffet sur hotel.com alors que plateau déjeuner avec petit café crème pas très chaud un bout de pain petit beurre confiture abricot , un jus d'orange et un pain au chocolat.
Pour le prix de la chambre avec petit déjeuner j'ai connu mieux.

Simple but outdated accommodation, bed is comfortable, shower was simple, didn’t have a proper shower holder, no shower gels only 1 pre packed soap bar. AC was good, not in the best area, staff was friendly, parking was easy. You get what you pay for.

Dans l'ensemble c'est bien. Le personnel est très sympathique. Manque un petit frigo dans la chambre, avec la chaleur se serait bien de pouvoir garder les boissons au frais. Le parking pas très grand donc vite plein. Mais je suis contente de mon séjour à cet hôtel.

Un peu décevant.

Le store de la chambre était cassé, il y avait des touffes de cheveux par terre, pas de prise à coté du lavabo/miroir de la salle de bain.
Lit confortable, petite chambre, suffisant pour 1 seule nuit.
Douche et salle de bain à l'étroit.

Aufenthalt in Ordnung, aber ohne Frühstücksbuffet

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt völlig in Ordnung.
Allerdings stand bei der Buchung etwas von Frühstücksbuffet und das gab es definitiv nicht, das Frühstück wurde auf einem Plastiktablett gebracht und hatte ein Stück Baguette, ein süßes Teilchen und Marmelade. Das war enttäuschend.

Dans un quartier tranquille de Marseille cette famille sait vous recevoir et être attentif à vos besoins.
L'hôtel restaurant à beaucoup de charme,la chambre excellemment tenu, le petit déjeuner correct.
L'établissement est agréable avec une grande cour intérieure le monsieur qui sert bogoss très sympathique, quand il m'a dit son âge j'ai halluciné.
Autrement rien à redire, juste que quand je retourne à Marseille et si j'ai le temps et les moyens j'y retourne. Meilleure adresse depuis mes séjours ici de loin !!!!!
