Pictures on hotels.com is outdated by a lot. Pool was still closed (7/8/26) and upon further investigation it looks like it was at least closed clear back since February with just a sign saying closed for maintenance. Carpets in the room was very sticky, had to wear sandals at all times. Shower had quite a bit of rust and very not clean. Looking as well as drywall above shower falling. The mattresses had quite a few stains. The staff was friendly though. The bed was comfortable but after seeing the stains and being grossed out by the floor, not a very good night's sleep, and yes I did check for bed bugs but didn't find any signs of them.

The hotel was a wreck, totally runned down, smells like mold (we woke up in the morning feeling like we injested a large dose of mold). The outside was in terrible shape, looks like it’s about to fall down with half paint job done. Pictures advertised on Expedia were totally inaccurate! Our bathroom sink was totally clogged when we checked in and staff didn’t even offer to fix it when we complained about it. We would NOT ever recommend this place to anyone! In fact, we will tell our friends/family that if they ever go to Topeka, to avoid this hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel to visit family. First time we cut them slack cause they were in the middle of a “remodel” they said. However, this time I felt like we were treated different then other people who booked there stay there. Go to the bathroom the door wouldn’t shut all the way, pool closed for whatever reason like what the heck it is an indoor pool like why, third of all accusing of us stealing towels is stupid and charging us $80 for them. When we wouldn’t want your ugly towels to begin with!!! And here is picture proof of the disappointment with this hotel! I highly DONOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY at this HOTEL!! You will not feel like you are at home at all!

There was a storm before we arrived and the air had been out for a day or so. The hotel smelled really bad when we arrived. The room was okay but the hallways and common areas were almost unbearable. Like strong garlic and mold. When we got the room the air was not on so it took a while to cool off the room. We went out to dinner to give it some time and it was okay for sleeping. Also, the pool was closed and it looked like the storm must have ruined part of the front of the building. Front desk attendant was very nice and helpful despite the situation.

The hallway/hallway lights were very dim/flickering. The front of the hotel does not look like the photos, and when we got to our room, it was probably 80+ degrees in there at 7pm, ac unit barely was able to cool to 65 degrees by morning. Made for a very poor rest night!

Property appears to be in an exterior remodel project. Room was clean, but toilet didn’t flush right and ended up not flushing at all. Even the toilet in lobby area didn’t flush all the way, indicating it may be a property wide issue. It was an ok experience, but definitely not my favorite property and may not be one I would probably choose to go to again. It was pretty clean and staff was great which is why it had more stars than I typically would have given

Large stains on curtains, dirty bathroom floor and tub, a/c didn't work, bad smells in our room and throughout the hotel, pool closed for maintenance the three days we were there. The first night we stayed we called hotels.com to ask if we could cancel our third night since it was outside of the 24 hour window. The hotel said it was against policy to let anyone shorten their stay once they had checked in so we were stuck with these conditions. I am not one to leave a negative review but I was really upset with these conditions considering the 8/10 rating so I just wanted to make sure I shared more accurate information.

The room was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful. It is an inexpensive hotel so there are not a lot amenities but I knew that when I booked it. My main concern was cleanliness and that was met perfectly. I would stay here again if I am back in the area.

We traveled with a team. Two of the rooms had bed bugs, (seen crawling on the beds) ekkkk….

the mattress of the rollaway was very dirty, the pull-out couch mattress was worn down enough it should have just gone in the trash.

The hot breakfast consisted of grey-green-ish sausage and “eggs” that were floating in some kind of liquid (most likely from being powdered eggs with too much water … the coffee was lukewarm.…

the waffle someone made smelled good but after everything else we did not take a chance to eat anything there.

Bathroom door required our martial arts skills to open and close.

The pillows were comfortable and the king-size bed was decent.

This hotel is completely different than the pictures on the Wyndham website, Expedia, and google. Those pictures are of a Fairfield, and this hotel is in shambles. We pre-booked through Expedia, not realizing those pictures weren’t right. We pulled up and were shocked at the condition of the hotel. There is no sign on the building, the front of the building looks to be falling apart. We were scared to leave our car in the dark parking lot- there was was little lighting and it was a very sketchy area. The stairwell had trashed piled up, the elevators and pool weren’t working. We left. We have been trying to get ahold of the manager for a refund, but they keep ignoring our calls. Every time we talk to someone, the manager “has just left.” Above everything else, customer service is exactly the same as the condition of the hotel.

I went into the room and went to turn on the heater.When I turned on the heater, I noticed that the window was coated in black mold. I am highly allergic to black mold. So I went down and requested that they refund my money. He wanted to put me in another room across the hall.
I told him you don't understand i'm very allergic to black mold. I bet if anybody stayed there, there would be still black mold.Everywhere in that building. The health department should be called.

This hotel needs some serious renovations. The outside and the inside. I didn’t want to stay but it was so late and I was tired. Bathroom was gross, the curtains were so dirty. What water was coming out of the shower was not hot at all. I was miserable there.

Is it a hotel? Yes.
Would I ever stay there again or recommend anyone else waste money there? Absolutely not.
The outside of the hotel looks like it’s been under construction for years, the photos in this listing are NOT of the hotel. I thought we were driving up to the wrong hotel based on the photos listed here. Breakfast was stale bagels, watery eggs and really bad coffee.
We checked out an entire day early due to the conditions of the room, not to mention that other guests were literally screaming and running in the hallways from 11pm-3am. We were not refunded even though we completed checked out and did not return. Won’t ever return, do not recommend.

On a positive note, the front desk was very kind and understanding when I asked to switch rooms because the television wasn’t working in the room that I was given. Bedside lamps were not working in the second room. Clean but not clean if that makes sense. I wanted to take a bubble bath and didn’t dare. Was affordable but honestly won’t be staying again.

The main host was very friendly and helpful. The property was falling apart and in need of major renovations. The pool is salt water and the area was dirty and not kept up. Windows on the property were calcified up and couldn't see out of some of them. Tiles were falling off the walls. Corner trims were falling off. Rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis, they only came in and took used towels.
Nothing was mentioned in the online of any renovations needed or condition of the hotel, it was a complete surprise when we pulled up to the hotel. Even the outside looks run down and in bad shape. Basically, pictures on their website are deceiving.

The air conditioner worked fine. There was a smell on the second floor when we checked in. The room was clean but not clean if that makes sense. The carpet and bed were fine. The bathroom floor was kind of sticky. The curtains were dirty. Just a lot of things that need to be tended to-rust spots on the trim, a spot on the tub that looked like a spider but wasn't (paint it!), the shower was terrible (only one type of spray worked, it wouldn't get warm and then was far too hot). I will say it was very quiet. The outside looked very poor-construction going on and some construction mess there. It had good reviews so I was surprised at the condition.

At times there was no one at the check in desk. The television did not work, so the hotel put us in a different room. The glass plate in the microwave was too big and had to leave it out when using. The restraints to keep items from falling off the shelves in the door of the refrigerator were absent. None were major problems, but enough to keep the rating at 4 overall rather than 5.

Clean. A/c worked really well. Beds were pretty decent comfort. You can definitely tell it's not brand new, some cosmetic updates would be good, but it really was a nice stay over all. It was very quiet. The front desk & lobby attendant always very kind & polite. We returned to our room a little before midnight on a Saturday & the parking lot seemed well lit.

We have been traveling for 3 weeks and this hotel by far was our worse experience. We booked an accessible room. It was on the 3rd floor and the only thing accessible about it were the handicap rails by the toilet and the bathtub. The toilet was not handicap height and bathroom sink could not be used if sitting in a wheelchair. A wheelchair could not maneuver in the room nor get over the door threshold without assistance. The bathroom floor was extremely filthy. There was newer carpet but the blackout curtains were dirty and ripped. The elevator had a sign on it that said, \"For safety please limit to 2 people or 1 family.\" That definitely didn't make us feel safe to use it! Breakfast was not good quality. Scrambled eggs were dry, sausage was awful, very limited fruit selection. Only positive for breakfast was a waffle maker and juice. Our first morning, there was no milk for cereal. The hotel is clearly understaffed. It was difficult to find anyone if you needed anything. But the young man that ran the front was very kind and helpful, when you could find him. He was the only positive part of our stay. The outside is obviously undergoing renovations. The parking lot was well lit but location was not great. Definitely do not recommend this hotel nor will we ever stay there again.

Okay so black and white.

The hotel was clearly just bought. The roped up signage is clearly over the previous logo which made the hard evidence of this was just taken over.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room wasnt bad. Clean room, bed in good condition. It looks run down but you can tell their picking up skeletons from the pervious establishment.

Breakfast didn't have much of variety but had the generic quick stuff like yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes.

The site says pool but it was definitely in disarray so they have one, just not usable unless they hired a pool company after i stayed.

This trip was a quick one to sleep while we continued west so i can't say much about the area other than there's a Walmart directly across the street.

First room I was put in was very hot, The AC ran for over an hour without helping,
I told the staff and they moved me, The second room was also hot but the AC was helping, The AC ran continuously until at least 3 am before the room was cool.
Breakfast was lacking. I wanted a waffle but they had not put any batter out.
