I didn't get the king suite I paid for. The breakfast was a tiny bottle of sunnyD 4 mini donuts and a granola bar Ina paper bag. There was hair in the sink. And Curly hair on the toilet. Shower had mud in it. There was feces on the shower curtain. The vanity light didn't work. There was a lamp plugged in with cord going across vanity for light. And a bloody paper towel on the floor. The pool was closed. And I didn't ever see a hot tub. When you opened your door it smelled like Marijuana. When I said something to the front desk the man told me, we all have to be a Karen sometimes. I give it a 0-10. And I'll never go back again.

Place was well used. King bed 2 wore down pillows. Very sparse. Bathroom wall had moldy looking substance all over it. Mold and peeling wood around the shower. Only one towel but I wasnt gonna shower in this nasty place. Price was cheap for a reason.

I only stayed here for work so I could sleep. When I went into my room there was no toilet paper, nor a refrigerator in the room. I honestly have to say the nice gentleman who worked nights got me a fridge and toilet paper. However, after a 16 hour shift and climbing stairs to my room only to find out my key card didn't work to open the door. The pool was closed and there were quite a few people who when outside approached you in their car. I would honestly pay extra for some safety.

Their pool is broken and visibly dirty. My remote didn’t work, a lamp was broken, and I had a stained wash cloth neatly folded in the bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend an extended stay but it’s somewhere to lay your head.

I booked this last minute at night and the front desk people were very helpful. Room was pretty clean, AC was working, had no problem with it. The breakfast they had wasn’t really breakfast, it was just paper bags with snack bars, juices, and donuts set up on the counter. Disappointing breakfast, but everything else was fine.

Parking lot littered and weedy. Pool and ice machine broken. Rooms dirty. Sheets with mildew. Spiders. Property worn and shabby. Sign says continental breakfast... none provided. Floors sticky, curtains dirty and sagging. Mismatched furniture, cigarette burns. Towels gray and thin. No daily housekeeping. Fridge and hairdryer did not work. Smelled musty. I'm 67 and have traveled the world and this is the worst place I've ever stayed. Did not feel safe alone. Only positive was nearby shops and freeway access. Smokers and truckers hanging around entrance. Couldn't wait to leave.

I booked a suite, but when I got there they didn’t have any available. There was no fridge in my room, and no working ice machines. The lady at the front desk gave me a small bag of half melted ice from a styrofoam cooler that I put in the sink so use as a way to keep my drinks cold.

The pool was not only out of commission, but actually looked disgusting. There were stains everywhere, and the “white” towels were disgusting. Only 1 or 2 buttons on the TV remote worked, and there were no buttons on the TV itself to adjust the channel and volume, making the TV useless. Even if it did work, the picture quality was so bad, it might not have even been worth watching.

Every single aspect of the hotel is about as run down as it gets, and you can tell that it has not gotten the necessary repairs, or any kind of money spent, in a very very long time. Charging $105 for that is highway robbery.

There was no top sheet on the bed, the floor was sticky, there was only one washcloth and one of the hand towels was stained. The pooland hot tub were closed but you could see scum on the pool water. There were people hanging out in the parking lot who were not guests (lots of homeless in the area) and the front taff had friends hanging out in the lobby with them. The \"breakfast\" was a sack lunch bag with clementine, two Great Value snack bars, and one Tampico orange drink (for two people). The place did not seem safe or clean.

We were here for an overnight stop. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they are horribly short staffed. Also, there were a few things in our room that need repair (broken and loose tile in the bathroom, bathroom door wouldn't close properly), and the furniture was due for an update.

Breakfast was a grab-and-go bag, so we didn't bother. The pool was out of order.

We might consider staying again if we knew the owners/management were investing in some repairs and upgrades.

Used bandage on the bedside table. Cigarettes on the floor so room clearly wasn’t cleaned properly after last occupant. Multiple broken outlets. Janky shower only had warm water if the handle was all the way left. Many cracks in walls & ceiling. Exposed wires. Toilet leaked a decent amount when flushed (ew) and ran nonstop. Room door didn’t quite close all the way (locked) and moved every time the hallway air pressure changes (like someone shut their door near room). The breakfast consisted only of apples & stale breakfast bars. Definitely ran down & overpriced. Spend the extra $20-30 and stay elsewhere.

Staff was solid though. Will, a manager, was quite helpful offering us a “better” room and friendly. Front desk guy Rick was AMAZING starting before we even checked in (I called the day before) and is the sole reason I didn’t cancel & book elsewhere.

This was a cheap cheap hotel. While it was quiet, safe, the fridge cold enough to freeze items in it, warm, semi in good condition/clean, and the people working were quite kind, my room was not what I booked (two fulls, not a king), the shower leaked, the breakfast was non existent, the ice machine broke and the pool closed. (The pool, bed sitation and breakfast were factors in booking after price and location.) The snow removal (because of course this stay included a heck of a winter storm) was non existent, despite a snoe shovel being right by the front doors. None of this was enough for me to leave and find other hosuing but i will not be booking again here.

NONE OF IT! was provided! pool and hot tub was \"out of order\" which was not stated on app or when getting room, every morning there was NO breakfast, not even muffins or coffee. Coffee pots weren't provided in rooms. Had to ask for it. TV wasnt working. Shower had paint peeling off! The only thing good was the lady that worked dayshift. She was awesome. Had to fix my tv, found a coffee pot. Hallway smelled like pot smoke.

The first we were give had dog hair on the bed, pillows and floor! The bathroom was dirty and it hadnot been cleaned. We requested another room. The second room was somewhat cleaner, but we found live cockroaches in the bathroom and on the wall. Again we requested another room and this room was still not clean. We found many stains on the furniture, and old food under the bed. I have taken pictures to show the condition of each room. We eventually moved hotels before our stay was over. Unacceptable!!!!

Well. I checked in my room last night. Got my key. Then left to go see family. I returned to the property at around 7am. I figured I would get a few hours of sleep before I head to the airport. When I got in my room, there were open beer cans on the dresser a bottle of water and a pot. Looks like there’s some kind of pasta in it that was BEYOND molded. I took a pic of everything. They proceeded to say that it was a workers room and they shouldn’t have gave me it. Although when I checked in the lady called a fellow employee to ask what room was available. In which they gave me the room in question “209”. After I seen the room, I went down to the desk to let the attendant know my concerns. By then it was 7:15-7:20. There is already two ladies at the desk wandering where’s breakfast they paid for. There is a sign on the counter that the desk is unattended overnight and a worker will be present at 6:30. Mind you it’s 7:15-7:20. I called the number on the paper and she answered and asked how can I help you and I said yes I’m at the desk and I need help. She says “why, are you checking out or something?” I said no. There is a problem with my room. There’s trash and molded food in a pot. She says “oh I know what room that is now that you mention a pot” okay so the employees know about this but just leave it like this? I’m glad I missed most the evening visiting family or this message would of went differently. I vow to never stay at a days on again.

The clerk at the desk was sweet and tried to do her best for me. The condition of the room however needed help. There was old cardboard under the appliance cabinet. There was peeling paint on the shower walls. The shower mat was stained. The floor was dirty in the bathroom all around the edges. The seat and lid for the toilet was loose. The tile in the bathroom was poorly installed and due to that held dirt in the gaps. It also took about 15 minutes of running the shower before the water temp got hot. The indoor pool was closed and there is no hot tub that was advertised on expedia. The reason I give 3 stars is for the price it isn't a horrble place to spend the night. I've slept in much worse. The beds were clean, the fridge worked, and the clerk gave me a bagged breakfast so I didnt leave hungry. It's not her fault I couldn't eat it given it was all carbs and I'm diabetic.

I want to start by saying, I have never left a bad review before. I understand nothing is perfect and when it comes to hotels have a very open mind. However, this particular room was awful. The floor was covered in dog hair, and was so sticky I walked out of my shoes several times. The only time we took our shoes off was to be in bed. The room smelled like wet dog and the hallway to our room smelled like dog poop the whole stay. The bathroom door was so rotten, I'm not sure how it had the structure to hang on the hinges and it didn't shut. The bathtub didn't drain. I called and asked for 2 fresh towels two times and never got any. There was no breakfast, the hotel website said there was. My bank account was charged three separate transactions. One for the cost of the room, one was for $50, and one for $1. I was told the $50 was a deposite id get back after checkout so it wasn't a loss but should be something I was aware of before it was taken out. I had the room booked from Thursday to Sunday and it was for Blizzard Bash weekend so we just delt with the room, I know that if I would have tried to find a new hotel I would have either paid quadruple, or just wouldn't have found one at all. We decided to just eat one day stay and left the hotel on Saturday.

While we were there two women got into a verbal confrontation and the police had to be called. They were yelling profanity at each other in the hall way for a long time and the police were called. One got arrested. There were a lot of shady characters hanging out there and there appears to be prostitution or human trafficking going on. The breakfast consists of a bag with a tiny muffin, breakfast bar, an apple, and a juice pack. The coffee was horrible and one day there was no cream. They only have powder cream. Part of the hotel also smelled like urine. Do not recommend this hotel especially if you have a family. Unsafe. Dirty. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

I think I stayed at this particular days in about 3 years ago. While the building is in decent shape and the layout is the same, it has gone downhill because of the management. When I walked in the front door it was fine but it just looked older, if you've ever been in motels and hotels you understand the difference between outdated and older and this just felt older. The staff was okay, they were very accommodating and helpful. When I went to my room, the door lock worked I walked in the place it seemed very sparse but that's okay. What I didn't like, was the fact that the air conditioning did not work. That was fine because I had to go out anyway and since I didn't leave anything in the room I could go ahead and just tell them at the front desk and they could go in fix it and come back later. While I was standing over the air conditioning system, I noticed my foot was sliding, yes sliding! I figured it was a fluke. I was dead wrong! I ended up walking around different parts of the flooring and I could slide all over in the room. Very strange. I believe it is because they have mopped it with something like Pine-Sol that leaves a residue and that's all they do is mop and mop and mop as a quick mop to get the floor clean for the next people, but all they're doing at this point is making it slippery. The staff didn't seem to care.

Only one channel of TV worked sometimes. Desk clerk advised -aim remote at box- nope still not working. Sirring in room and heard something in bathroom. It was raining water from ceiling
Called desk, oh I'll go up there. Water stopped about 20 min later
Ceiling soaked and showed previous damage. Avoided time in bathroom in case it fell in. No ck back w me, offer new room, offer to mop and I had to leave to work. Breakfast at 915 AM was airport coffee with sweet n low or sugar packets
I didn't expect tun down service or room service at this price point but come on, this is ridiculous!

Upon Arriving There was a lady who to be honest looked very shady (on drugs or drunk) sitting on a bench in front of the entry to the office. She had a Mohawk hair due and looked very disheveled. My initial though was she was a homeless and just hanging out there. Check in went okay. The room was on the bottom floor next to the building entry, and every time some one came in the door it would slam shut and this went on all night. I barley slept at all. The first bed we went to get into had stains all over the sheets and crumbs in the bed. Then the next morning I went down to get My fiancé and my self some breakfast from the free continental breakfast. which by the way was one of the only reasons we choose to stay there. To My surprise the lobby was empty and the only person there was the lady with the Mohawk. and she was working now in the same disheveled outfit she was in from the night before. and she told me that the breakfast was behind the desk. to witch she handed me a bag with a Nutra grain bar, and apple, and a child's caprisun drink in it. I asked if that was really it and she said yes. I then asked her for a second one for my fiancé. At which point as she looked around me she asked in a suspicious tone where she was. and I said she was waiting in the truck. She the asked me what room I was in and then proceeded to check my file. at which point she said oh there were two checking in. At which point I lost it. I barked back Are you kidding me. The worst stay ever!

We searched all over Topeka for rooms at a different hotel and couldn’t find any, it was graduation weekend. We were there with family for our daughter’s graduation or we would not have stayed. I have never written a negative review because no place is perfect and things happened, but this was a whole other level of horrible. Sleep in your car if you have to!

There were stains on the bed and pillow cases. The smoke detector had a bag on it. There was trash on the floor. The control box for the tv was on the floor and the only way to change the channel was to point the remote to the floor and on the side of the dresser that the tv was on.

It smelled like weed in the lobby. Our room wasn’t ready at 7pm when we arrived for check in. Loose dogs in lobby. Initially gaslit by the owner then acknowledged “mistakes” while telling me I should’ve been patient. Never got that refund. Horrible customer service.

Room not prepared. Room unclean with blood stains on shower curtain. Electrical outlet without power. Television without service. Wait at check in for “cleaning “ for an hour and still found the room to be very poor. Did not see the blood stains till the morning after check in, or we would have left immediately! We did not feel safe to shower and honestly should be offered a refund

I just have to say we’re coming back from a winter trip in Arizona. And we’ve stayed at Ramada and Windham because they’re cheap, but this one’s got mold in every corner dirt in every corner it’s disgusting. The windows haven’t been washed. I don’t know what kind of storm Topeka Kansas went through and I don’t know who the people are, but it is disgusting. I spent all night cleaning the windows washing the floor wiping everything down just so I could have one hour of a pleasant stay while I slept. And it’s not the management’s fault It’s the corporation, Wyndham you should be ashamed

The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room rate was attractive, but as it turned out, we got what we paid for. The facilities were dated and in poor condition, ie. : patched flooring, missing towel bar and tissue dispenser in bathroom, and no housekeeping whatsoever in our room. We had to ask for fresh towels daily and though they appeared to be clean , the towels were stained and discolored. One last thought; though we didn't make the decision to stay at the Days Inn based on the advertised continental breakfast, it was lacking any substance to be comparable to any other hotel we have ever stayed at that offered a continental breakfast.

Half way excellent half was terrible.

The night shift lady with the dogs was INCREDIBLE! So kind and helpful. Very guest friendly. The morning shift lady was horrendous! Came down to get breakfast for my kids and she was beyond rude to me and my daughter. Didn’t even acknowledge we were standing there and got upset I asked for a couple more bags for my other kids (1per kid). She acted as tho I was interrupting her show. I will never consider this hotel again because of her. But 10/10 recommend the night shift lady.

I had a reservation for several weeks and even completed early check in. When I arrived, my room had been given away and the man at the desk was rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all. We had to visit 3 other hotels at 12:30 am to find another room that cost us $160.00 more than my room at Days Inn. I am still waiting for my refund from the hotel that I was told would be processed in a few days. It has now been 9 days since I was told that I would receive a refund. I would never recommend this Days Inn to anyone, and we will not be staying there or making a reservation at the Topeka Days inn ever again!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting. No smoke detector in our room, garbage in the trash, room was absolutely repulsive after waiting over an hour to check in. Pool was murky and there is no spa even though it’s advertised there is one

Not at all impressed.

I had requested a handicapped accessible room. What I got was a regular room with no bars in bathroom or in shower. The room was the furthest away from the main desk. The phone in the room didn't work. I walked to desk, told them about the phone, and asked for an extra blanket. No one came for either item.
