Apartment suite. Nicely laid out. Bedroom can be made private from kitchen, living room, and restroom. Staff - very nice & helpful. Only amenities in room - bathroom items and enough coffee for one pot. But overall very nice.

The stay was just fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is just past the casinos and away from the crowds. The staff ran the place more like a military unit though. I didn't realize I would be tasked with taking out trash or placing my linens and towels in a basket after my stay! Also, the spa wasn't avaliable 1 of the 2 nights we stayed which was a bummer! This lodge also doesn't have wifi. I think for the price it's just okay...probably other places for less that may be better.

It’s tucked away from the traffic and crowding of the Casino strip, yet close enough to walk or drive there when you need to. The rooms are cozy and spacious and the kitchen is stocked well with utensils. Lastly, their tenured staff is very helpful and make sure your stay is comfortable.

Enjoyed the the space and cleanliness of the suite. Breakfast could be better. It is a lovely hotel and should serve hot breakfast such as eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes. Breakfast was mostly continental with the option of having breakfast sandwiches heated up. For a hotel that nice, a hot breakfast would measure up.

Our party had 2 units—1 bedroom studios. The location was quiet but close enough to all the action. Place is older but extremely comfortable. I used the free laundry facilities to wash a few small loads. I thought it was a great value for the money.

This is actually a timeshare that's rented. Front desk hours 7am-7pm. No housekeeping. You're expected to strip the bed and put all linens and towels in bathroom tub when you leave. No balcony. View is a hill and a building, not the fancy view of Lake Tahoe on the website. People not friendly. Check in is 4pm so sit and wait. Way overpriced for what you get.

No staff was available at this hotel after 8–9 pm. When my room keys didn’t work, I had to call and eventually reached someone. she made it seem like the issue was my fault. After waiting about 20 minutes, she gave me new keys, but they didn’t work either. She didn’t wait for me to test them. Luckily i was able to catch her on her way out. Then she gave me another keys but it didnt work again. Even her master key didnt work. Come to find out it was the door batteries.

One the best places tgat I stayed in USA. It’s loke you are in an old lady house. It’s like back to the old days. Exactly wat I liked. Beautiful lobby surrounded with an amazing bookshelf and stone fireplace. The romm has a dvd and VHS cassette player and you can rent the movies. Extremely quiet place if you wanna realax, read a book or just stare at trees and enjoy your day. Definitely will come back to this place again. Very friendly staff.

This is our second stay at The Lodge at Kingsbury Crossing and we will definitely come again. Rooms are perfect for our needs. The full kitchen has everything you need to cook up some wonderful food. Rooms are clean and close to downtown.

Excellent location. Easy access. Safe and secure. No resort fee. No parking fee. Quiet and restful. Close to the lake and Heavenly Village. They offer light breakfast on Saturdays only but right next to it is Red Hut diner serving breakfast until 2pm. If you are looking for dinner option in close approximately 5 min walk is Tahoe Tavern and Grill.

The receptionist Jennifer was not friendly or welcoming at all. Walked up to they counter to overhear her talking to a co-worker about how they couldn't wait for the tournament to be over and not have to deal with the added tourists.
The lodge was affordable, clean and the room was spacious. Mattress and pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable, and it made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

They (Jennifer the manager) are total ripoffs and liars. Made a booking with Expedia and just 3 hours later discovered it was the correct dates but the wrong month. Dates wanted were unavailable, so asked hotel (Jennifer) for refund or at least credit for any other open dates. She flat out refused to alter any part of the booking that was just made 3 hours prior and was 6 days out so no foul to anyone. I’m a senior citizen who travels every two months making thousands of hotel stays and travel arrangements for 35 years and never experience such outright disrespect for customers when the fix is so easy. Manager Jennifer kept trying to say I had to contact Expedia as she can’t change the booking, and she admitted it was a simple mistake and “they” should refund me without issue. Well, this was just a brush off as Expedia, in writing stated they are happy to refund the stay and for 5 days contacted the hotel by email and calls for authorization and Jennifer denied it each time while telling me each time it was not her but Expedia denying it. That was a total lie! I spoke with Expedia and they were extremely helpful in trying the resolve this. In fact, we actually did a conference call with Expedia and myself on the line to the Lodge and all they had to do was approve the refund and Expedia would waive all fees to the hotel for cancelling the reservation so no harm to them. BUT the lodge would not answer the phone (must have caller ID and knew it.

Lavish family reunion
The lodge was amazing. Would like to have had full breakfast in the mornings, but they did offer continental breakfast on Saturday morning with a lot of choices including hot sandwiches. Everything was very clean. They also had a game room with a pool table which was great and a huge Jacuzzi. I will definitely be going back. Well worth the price.

I loved the property it was super peaceful especially needed to relaxation during our time there. I will say the heater is very loud at night preventing us from sleeping well. I do also think it would have been very nice to have access to the hot tub past 7:30 that is really early to close that down especially on a weekend. But the property and the unit overall was very nice.

Excellent property, no complaints. If you want to be close to all that South Lake has to offer but away from the hustle & bustle this is the perfect location. We stayed for a Club Volleyball weekend & it was exactly what we needed, the small kitchenette allowed us to eat in or out. The pull out couch was not comfortable but we came prepared for that. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The room was stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely stay again.

Loved our stay at the Lodge at Kingsbury Crossing. The apt had all the essentials and had a Jack and Jill bathroom with the sink and vanity outside of the commode. The apt was quiet, comfortable and clean. We also appreciated there were no additional parking or resort fees.

Great lodge for a family stay in Tahoe. They do have limited lobby and spa hours, and certain rules and restrictions in place, but it all makes sense because the units are actually time shares that are occasionally sold on Expedia.

However, my recent experience was incredibly disappointing due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of one staff member at the reception.
On the first day, she accused us of playing loud music at the jacuzzi, even though we were quietly playing music on an iPhone, and no one else was in the area. We immediately stopped as soon as she asked, but her approach was unnecessarily rude.
The following day, she claimed we were “using too many towels,” which was absurd. We were a group of four and only used a reasonable number of small towels. There are no posted rules about towel limits in the jacuzzi area.
On the third day, she refused to let us use the jacuzzi altogether, stating we had violated the rules—though she never explained which rules we had supposedly broken. Her attitude was unprofessional and completely ruined the experience for us.
It’s unfortunate that such behavior overshadowed what could have been another enjoyable stay. I hope management addresses this issue to prevent future guests from facing the same treatment.

Property and room were immaculate. It was an excellent price for the area and we were well cared for during our visit. We came for a concert in South Lake and the area is very expensive and not so luxurious, so I would say we had the best of both worlds! Room was amazing, fantastic price. We probably could have walked but chose to drive, parked valet for the concert and it was easy and quick!!
We were even surprised with a small breakfast on Saturday morning. Nothing fancy, but we were not expecting anything so it was nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was amazing, super comfortable!! We would definitely stay again.

Pleasantly surprised by the size of this suite. Great, friendly service. We attended a concert at Harvey's and it was about a 25 minute walk from this location. We rented scooters and made it back from concert in about 10 minutes. The room was really clean and the bed was actually comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

During our 3-night stay in July 2024, Tahoe was hot in high 80's. Our room on 2nd floor did not have AC, but we were able to open the screened patio door to draw cooler night air in by using 2 portable fans found in the closet (not sure if a ground floor unit could leave patio door open due to potential bear intrusion). There were also 2 ceilig fans. The living area was cooler, but the bedroom which had no windows, was warmer, but was \"tolerable\". The Lodge area was a quiet cul-de-sac, so no noise at night and we're able to keep patio door open through the night. SInce we were a family of 4 adults in an one bedroom unit, two of us had to sleep on the sofabed. It was a typical springy and thin sofabed which was not comfortable for two adults and we would not recommend it for heavier adults. We found a solution by using the sofa cushions to create another \"bed\", so only one adult would need to sleep on the sofa bed. The timeshare unit had all the amenities including a small bottle of detergent & scrub sponge, paper towels, shampoo, soap & lotion, toaster & blender, a dishwasher, and all kitchen items needed for cooking & eating. The front desk guy even provided us with a complementary toothbrush when one of us forgot to bring one. The Lodge also provided limited quantities of apples, oranges, bananas, cookies, and small water bottles at the lobby. Overall nice place. Note: Safeway in Nevada side is less than 5 minutes away by car and there's NO sales tax at Nevada side.

A very strange stay indeed. Although not indicated on hotels.com, it was upon arrival that I was advised that The Lodge is a time-share, not a hotel or traditional lodge. The buildings, landscaping and parking lot are also dated and/or in poor condition.
Although most of the staff members are very nice, they are often unable to assist guests due to the ridiculous policies of management. For example, the lobby and facilities are locked down as early as 7:00 p.m. - which is both inconvenient and odd.
When my meeting was unexpectedly cancelled (I no longer needed to stay in town), the hotel management had zero flexibility and I was given no chance to reschedule or recover a portion of my payment if I checked out early. I was advised that refunds are NEVER granted - even in the event that a guest must depart early due \"a death in the family.\" Wow.
Beyond that, The Lodge features ubiquitous laminated signs that very sharply instruct guests how to behave, use the room and facilities, and generally how to stay at the facility. Among them is that, prior to checkout, the guest is REQUIRED to strip the beds and place used linens in the bathtub. Okay, not hard to do...but what? I was even told that my backing into a parking space (which is safer than heading in) was a violation of the lodge policy.

It's always nice to be pleasantly suprised w accomodations when travelling and not disappointed while on vacation. This place for the price is a \"hidden\" gem in Tahoe. Everything from the front desk ladies, Jennifer and Rose w their welcoming warm vibes and customer service, to the quality of the room, and especially the Kitchennette -all contributed to a positive experience here. I will most definitely consider coming back to this lodge for the next trip. Oh and free washer & dryer amenities for the win! That was super convenient and appreciated. My only critique is the Queen bed- seemed a bit small, and also the mattress can maybe be upgraded in the future, but I knew the size when booking, and I am also used to my giant Cali-King. There was an additional queen sofa bed we could have used, but after the 1st night we became accustomed to the bed, and it did not cause any loss of sleep. Overall very satisfied w this stay!

Wonderful property and stay. Only issue was the parking in the back is really unsafe with the snow. My husband myself and my son all fell down on some black ice. We were trying to be careful but it was difficult with nothing to hold onto on the steep hill. My husband and son were good but I hit my head after falling. Regardless wed stay here again but wont park any place other than the front.

This place is interesting because its a timeshare property, not a hotel. So you wont find things like coffee in the lobby. But its charming and quiet. The front desk staff was really nice and the suite was really large! Comfortable bed, huge sofa, gas fireplace, ceiling fans, kitchen, free parking, view of trees out one side, small balcony. Theres a great cafe down on the corner. The hot tub looked nice but we didnt use it. Nice lobby & books, magazines & movies to borrow. Id stay here again.
