Lugar hermoso. Hay mucho que hacer en el área pero toma en cuenta que si vas a descansar y con niños recomendaría el otro de ellos que está cerca del mercado ya que hay mucho ruido de noche pero de verdad es hermoso el apartamento, si llegas antes de las 3 te recomiendo alquilar un loker con tiempo pues sino será muy incómodo llevarlas a otro lugar para luego regresar. Seguro que si volvería a este piso.

Location is pretty good. Near to metro and supermarket.

Place is decent, the kitchen only have basic stuff. if you need to cook you need to buy your own basic cooking stuff ( salt , soya sauce ..etc ) for stay of 4 night it be waste of money for us to invest.

Washing machine do not have dry. Is only spin dry. You need to hang your clothes

From the moment we arrived, this place was nothing but a nightmare. We spent over a half hour trying to gain access to this property as no codes were sent until asked. We paid extra for luggage storage, when we arrived, we were told our luggage had to be stored at a different location. The room was advertised as having one double bed, two singles, and a double pull out couch, but when we arrived there was only two doubles and a pull out. We were travelling with friends who were hoping for their own beds, when we mentioned this to the host, they told us we got the room we booked and that no such room like that existed at their property even though that’s what they had pictured on the listing. The A/C system was not working and they have no fans to provide. The walls are thin and this place is loud. My biggest issue though, is the place was infested with cockroaches. When I asked for a refund on this property the second day there, my request was ignored by the host so I went through Expedia. While we were out that day, we got an email from the host letting us know that because I asked for a refund, they were kicking us out and had to find a new place to stay for that night. We we arrived back at this location to get our luggage but they disabled our code to get in and we spent over another half hour trying to collect our belongings. Thankfully, a very helpful cleaning lady helped us get back in.

We stayed at Slow Suites Chueca for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The apartment was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Madrid and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and attractions. Despite being in a lively area, the accommodation was comfortable and provided a great base for exploring the city.

Everything went smoothly, and we would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Madrid.

Be aware that check in is at 3 and no exemption. I came with family and a few luggage that from the first call they said they could not accommodate but after a second call they were able to provide a locker for purchase at reasonable price but we were left out on the street for a while.

Buena localización, cerca de la Gran Vía, el apartamento muy cómodo, camas cómodas, cocina muy bien equipada, todo casi perfecto pero si el
Vecindario no te deja dormir y hay huéspedes en el piso de arriba moviendo muebles en la madrugada, no se puede dormir ni descansar bien. No le recomiendo a nadie que se quede en este lugar a menos que usted duerma de día y salga de noche/madrugada. El sector se activa después de las 12am y el alboroto es intenso. Estuve 8 noches y no se cual fue peor, es diario no importa la ocasión. Para el precio que uno paga no esperaba algo así. Mejor escoja otra opción. Y el ruido no es solo de la calle sino por el tipo de construcción que hace que todo se oiga. Lamentablemente, fue muy decepcionante.

Perfect location, centre but in the centre just off the main streets so is not too loud, close to so many lil restaurants, in the more social, small streets part of Central Madrid.

It had everything we needed, including sponges to clean. Loved the Rituals shower gel and shampoo. Big bright windows, excellent air conditioning, sofa bed super comfortable. Lovely stay.

The building itself is old and the lift is scarily but the apartment is incredible.

La propiedad es tal como aparece anunciada, todo muy limpio. Sin embargo, el check-in fue complicado porque estaba viajando antes de llegar a Madrid, y necesitaba Wi-Fi para completarlo y toda la comunicación es mediante un sistema automático/AI.

El mayor problema fue que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba ni en el dormitorio ni en la sala, y no pude dormir por el calor. Intenté comunicarme varias veces, pero nadie respondió ni solucionó el problema y todo es por el website/robot y no personal.

The unit was very close to tourist spots and extremely accessible. However, it was very noisy at night — you could clearly hear people outside.

The check-in process was easy and convenient. Just make sure your phone has enough battery and internet access, since everything is accessed digitally through your phone.

The apartment itself was massive, but unfortunately, we were not given the exact unit that was advertised. While it looked clean at first glance, a closer look showed that it really needs proper cleaning. We found hairs on the bed, and I even saw a big cockroach when I woke up at 5 a.m. 😣

The location is excellent. Despite my worries about evening noise, it turned out to be very peaceful. Finding a two-bathroom apartment in Madrid is rare, making this property a real find. However, we specifically looked for an apartment that included a crib, only to find out there is a $15 daily surcharge. It feels like you get extra charged for everything.

The slow suites Chueca advertise as 3.5 stars but I found it at sane level as other 2 stars places I stayed in Madrid, Seville or Barcelona. It was a bit too expensive for us to begin with and check-in process was too complicated. There was no real Front Desk where you can meet someone in person, only calling a Helpdesk. No concierge option for luggage, only offered a tiny storage at additional charge. This was the most expensive hotel out of the 4 hotels we stayed in Spain had no real front desk and customer support.

Although, rooms were big but finishes were not the best. It is close to downtown/centro location and walkable but the surrounding area has lot of clubs that will keep you awake all night due to noise and I mean really a chaotic loud noises all night until 4 or 4:30am in the morning. Not at recommended for groups who look for a restful sleep in the night after exploring the city during daytime/evening.

The guest house is in a good area and was clean although smelled of insecticide so that was unpleasant. The check-in was very awkward. They did not send me the code. I needed to get into the front door so I was standing on the street for a while. The number they give is for a chat bot, which does not allow you to speak to a real human and the chat bot is very useless as it doesn’t know how to do anything at all. It also felt a little cheap that they wanted five euros in order to store my luggage for the afternoon.

I stayed on Saturday and was a little noisy in the mid-night up to 3:00am as someone (maybe the guests) were in the party. On Sunday, it became quiet. Shower water is not hot enough (feeling of less than 37C). Location is good which is close to Grand Via station.

Lovely duplex- well appointed and in a perfect location.
However when air conditioner was turned on a deluge of dead bugs flew out!!!!
Safe box wasn’t working and though management said they’d fix it, they never did.
Water leaked from shower stall creating a huge puddle. Needs a bit of a refresh paint job at the bottom of stairs landing in living room. Too many bags have scratched and stained it.

The check in is an absolute nightmare because their website is laggy and it will take you two hours so prepare for it because you absolutely need it or you will be outside the building with no one opening the door because they don’t have anyone on site. I told them many times I was having issues with check in but they just kept saying to keep trying without any assistance. Also the only way you can get a response fast is by calling and for me that was going to cost a lot in fees from my international phone company. If not, all you get is a robot with pre-programmed responses.
The room is ok and in a good location but they say they have a washer and dryer and they only have a washer. This was the main reason we booked. We had to wait over an hour between showers because the water would turn cold pretty fast.

I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. The location is ideal. Very walkable and the apartment is spacious. The only complaint the noise. You hear the people above constantly throughout day and night. And you can hear outside noise (trash pick up, sirens, etc.) very easily.

The fiat we stayed in you found hear all the noise from outside. When the bars closed you could hear the people yelling and screaming. When the trucks drive by it felt like they were in the room. We could hear every word people were speaking from the other flats in the building. We hardly slept the three days we were there.

The location was great to get to everything. The property management was fantastic and communicated very well. We arrived early from the US and they tried their best to get us an early check in which was above and beyond. We had an issue with the TV/WIFI and communicated well and did their best to resolve it. Peeling wallpaper, and stained floorboards. The sofa bed in the lounge was very loud to sleep on and uncomfortable. Lots of noise from the street. Not a pleasant stay.

Our place was wonderful! Logistics of planning payments and access were very smooth. It was very clean and serviceable, well stocked with the things we might need. The location was absolutely perfect for us. We did notice quite a lot of noise at night from outside, but that was absolutely to be expected given the area. I would stay in this exact unit again.

Yes. But it was a lot of noise at mid night 3 am to 5 am , people are talking loud and laughing in middle of street in our hotel room downstairs . We could sleep for 3 nights . Overall everything was very close and easy to walk in center of city .only noise was too much .

Horrible Check in process with poor communication

Check-in is at 15:00 but I never received any access instructions until close to 16:00. I waited outside for almost 1 hour checking my emails constantly because there is no live person to call. The apartment is very noisy at night with no sound proof windows so you can hear people yelling and talking loud on the street all night. You can also hear noise from the floor above from people walking across and moving furniture. Overall not a good place to stay due to terrible communication at check-in and poor insulation from loud noise.

This by far has been my best stay anywhere in Spain to date. Location was perfect to see anything in Madrid (walkable or public transportation). The apartment was very comfortable and very spacious. The beds and bedding were super comfortable and a joy to sleep in it. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area to choose from. All of the restaurants we used were great and reasonably priced. The wi-fi was spotty at times but at least it was usable. I will definitively stay again if I go to Madrid again.

It was large and the door codes always worked. Wifi worked fine. Not one English station on tv. Some interior decor was rough, including missing curtain hooks, burn hole on couch, broken lamp shade. Overall well used. Worse thing was the noise level at night from 12am-5am…bring earplugs!!! So seedy the neighborhood and party bars & discos all night, screaming & carrying on. Yikes.

We enjoyed our stay. We were there for 4 days. I did not receive an email for access information to the room until 2:55PM after calling twice which was stressful. Location was great and close to Gran Via and Puerto de Alcala. Close to the metro stations. The room was spacious and was comfortable. I loved that there was a washer but no dryer. Clothing had to be hung dry. A dry rack was provided.
I also liked that the kitchen had all the amenities we could use. I liked that coffee was provided, but they only provided 2 pods of coffee. The hot water pot had rust in it so I did not use it after seeing it. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again
