I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. The location is ideal. Very walkable and the apartment is spacious. The only complaint the noise. You hear the people above constantly throughout day and night. And you can hear outside noise (trash pick up, sirens, etc.) very easily.

Good staff, but our apartment had a sofa bed that was kind of broken, the toilet was upstairs and it didn’t say anything. If you are traveling with infants or seniors, or someone with restricted mobility, it is impossible to use.

The fiat we stayed in you found hear all the noise from outside. When the bars closed you could hear the people yelling and screaming. When the trucks drive by it felt like they were in the room. We could hear every word people were speaking from the other flats in the building. We hardly slept the three days we were there.

The location was great to get to everything. The property management was fantastic and communicated very well. We arrived early from the US and they tried their best to get us an early check in which was above and beyond. We had an issue with the TV/WIFI and communicated well and did their best to resolve it. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Loved our stay and how easy it was to walk to everything.

Easy to access, but seems a little stressful waiting up to 3pm to receive your access codes.
Peeling wallpaper, and stained floorboards. The sofa bed in the lounge was very loud to sleep on and uncomfortable. Lots of noise from the street. Not a pleasant stay.
The location however, was excellent.

This property was perfect for our family of four's one night stay in Madrid. It was clean and had all of the essentials, including a washer and small kitchen. Access to the apartment was through an email so be aware that you need internet to get into the property. It was an easy safe place to walk around, and we enjoyed our stay.

No laundry that I know of. Sofa had cigarettes burns and sofa bed potentially had bed bugs as kids woke up with welts on their face and hands.
Overall it was pretty clean, though I wouldn’t call it spotless.

Our place was wonderful! Logistics of planning payments and access were very smooth. It was very clean and serviceable, well stocked with the things we might need. The location was absolutely perfect for us. We did notice quite a lot of noise at night from outside, but that was absolutely to be expected given the area. I would stay in this exact unit again.

Yes. But it was a lot of noise at mid night 3 am to 5 am , people are talking loud and laughing in middle of street in our hotel room downstairs . We could sleep for 3 nights . Overall everything was very close and easy to walk in center of city .only noise was too much .

Horrible Check in process with poor communication

Check-in is at 15:00 but I never received any access instructions until close to 16:00. I waited outside for almost 1 hour checking my emails constantly because there is no live person to call. The apartment is very noisy at night with no sound proof windows so you can hear people yelling and talking loud on the street all night. You can also hear noise from the floor above from people walking across and moving furniture. Overall not a good place to stay due to terrible communication at check-in and poor insulation from loud noise.

This by far has been my best stay anywhere in Spain to date. Location was perfect to see anything in Madrid (walkable or public transportation). The apartment was very comfortable and very spacious. The beds and bedding were super comfortable and a joy to sleep in it. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area to choose from. All of the restaurants we used were great and reasonably priced. The wi-fi was spotty at times but at least it was usable. I will definitively stay again if I go to Madrid again.

It was large and the door codes always worked. Wifi worked fine. Not one English station on tv. Some interior decor was rough, including missing curtain hooks, burn hole on couch, broken lamp shade. Overall well used. Worse thing was the noise level at night from 12am-5am…bring earplugs!!! So seedy the neighborhood and party bars & discos all night, screaming & carrying on. Yikes.

We enjoyed our stay. We were there for 4 days. I did not receive an email for access information to the room until 2:55PM after calling twice which was stressful. Location was great and close to Gran Via and Puerto de Alcala. Close to the metro stations. The room was spacious and was comfortable. I loved that there was a washer but no dryer. Clothing had to be hung dry. A dry rack was provided.
I also liked that the kitchen had all the amenities we could use. I liked that coffee was provided, but they only provided 2 pods of coffee. The hot water pot had rust in it so I did not use it after seeing it. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again

The place was amazing. Easy to walk to restaurants. It’s a little loud at night, but that may be because you are in the city. I called the hotel to ask about an early check in and they weren’t sure they could accommodate. The attitude over the phone could have been avoided but overall the stay and the cleanliness was worth it. I’d recommend if you have a quick trip.

While the property is a good for its value, it is in the heart of the city centre which is a big plus.
The only thing i didn't like is that i had to call Expedia open a case, and contact the property, for them to transfer the instructions o how to check-in, one hour prior to the actual check-in.
The representative was super helpful, she sent it right away while on the call. However their company policy is wered, they won't provide access codes they are afraid we go in prior to 15:00 their official check-in time.
One aspect they have to improve.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable. The only drawback is the area. There are a lot of clubs around, including right in the alley and it gets very loud until early hours in the morning, making sleeping challenging. Also for families with young children, there are a few adult clubs and establishments in the very immediate vicinity. So be ready for your kids to ask some questions.

We stayed at this Airbnb in Chueca, Madrid, as a family with two young kids and had a great experience overall. The apartment was very clean, well-kept, and incredibly central walking distance to nearly all the main attractions in Madrid, which made exploring the city super convenient. The check-in process was smooth, with a very practical door access system.

One thing to note: our visit coincided with the start of the Pride celebrations. Chueca is known for being the heart of Madrid’s LGBTQ+ community, and during Pride it becomes especially vibrant and festive. While we respect all people and beliefs, travelers who may be looking for a quieter or more conservative atmosphere during this specific time might want to consider that aspect when planning.

Otherwise, the location and apartment were excellent and worked really well for our family.

The accomondation itself was amazing. The staff service was prompt and nice. However the area (Chueca) was having a pride festival and the hotel apparently was at the centre of it. There was a It was crowded with people outside the buiding at night that we had to squeeze into the crowd just to get back. I hope the hotel can notify us in advance if there are any celebrations taking place during our stay — that would be ideal.

This property has a great location, walking distance to the metro stations, La Gran Via avenue, shopping,La Plaza Mayor, etc. specially if you belong to the LGBT+ community, which we weren’t part of it, our dates fell during the festivities of this community, it was a party that lasted the whole week, specially at night, literally you heard the noice all night long, if you are light of sleep, this is not the place for you during those dates, we had previously scheduled activities that lasted the whole day, when we came back at night we had to go through police checkpoints to access the perimeter where the building was located and walk through rivers of people gay and straight until reaching the main door, again, if you are part of the community, this is a place you’d like to book during the festivities, if you are looking for peace and quiet during the night go somewhere else.
Besides the above, we had a great time

Overall this was a great stay , it suited us as we wanted to be close to bars in the evening but they can stay open late and could be heard in the apartment , we were on the 2nd floor , ear plugs were fine !
Good showers and all utensils you would require in the kitchen ( we didn’t use only fridge)
The publc areas could have been cleaner and perhaps an area to change before flight would have been nice . We stayed in Seville and they had it there but it was a bigger complex .
Overall would stay again .
