Great location and in walking distance to everything. Very central. One way you go to the markets and main streets for shopping, another way you go to the parliament and city hall buildings. The hotel is clean and in an area full of cafes, tapas, desserts; so much to choose from. The hotel itself is clean. I stayed with my family, husband and two kids. We had the room with a king size bed and a bunk bed. It was perfect for us for the two nights. We left Madrid later than our checkout and could safely leave our luggage until we were ready to leave the city. I would recommend this hotel to singles, couples and families.

We had a fantastic stay at Woohoo Rooms! The neighborhood is perfect for walking around, hopping on public transport, shopping, and restaurant hopping. It's also a super LGBTQ friendly area, which is important to me. We loved our private balcony which had shutters that we could control with the flip of a switch. The AC and a TV also went a long way and made us feel cozy. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat. So convenient and easy and beautiful. Thank you, Woohoo!!!

The hotel,has a great location but the setup can get tiresome. One key only so travelling with others means coordinating times to meet and leave.
Signing placed in the ‘hotel” is minimum and confusing. The accommodation is adequate in terms of room amenities but coffee is not free and toilet paper was not stocked up. The location is what helped compensate for a very mediocre room.

Great location and friendly staff. Excellent value. Think upscale hostel, not hotel. Very comfy bed and nice clean private bathroom in the room. Checking in online made things very easy. Very secure too. Your room card unlocks 3 doors from ground up. Highly recommended for a couple spending most of the time in the city, but want a clean comfortable place to sleep

The only thing that was a little frustrating is the noise at night especially on a Saturday night. I think the hotel is next to two clubs and they love to party in this area. If you’re there to party it’s a great spot if not I wouldn’t recommend the stay. People party until like 5am here. Wild. Everything else was lovely.

Woohoo rooms chueca was a lovely place to stay in Madrid. Many, many food options near by that were all great. It was a few minutes walk to busses that will take you all over the city quickly. Look forward to staying again in the future!

before we went we read reviews and people complained of the noise outside. I thought \"ah, shut up. Its a city\". It is amazingly noisy though. Theh seem to.empty the bins and wash the street every night at 1.30am and about 4am.
Also, room was fine although it could do with a hanger for wet coats and better storage but it was literally right next ro reception. No corridor, open the door and theres the desk. A bit impersonal. Location is great.

Love this hotel. It is a little hard to get into, but once you get into the building and meet the staff, all your problems are solved. Easy to get in/out. The place is perfectly clean and was great location to walk around town. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Aside from the instructions at check in not being exactly clear, everything was perfect. The hospitality from every staff member was suberb. The room was clean and well maintained. The only thing that you have to keep in mind is it's literally a room with a bathroom on one floor with other rooms right next to each other. You can't hear the other guests in their rooms but you can hear everything from the halls. There was construction happening on one of the other floors which was fairly loud. Not the property's fault. You are close to everything and in my opinion in walking distance to most things. The neighborhood felt safe.

I liked that it was near all the important sights of Madrid and it was quiet. Once you made it to the 2nd floor the hotel (more like guest rooms) small lobby and a hall with rooms, the rooms were small but nice, clean and quiet.
I did not like that to get to the rooms you have to go to a second floor and the 1st floor felt cold, dark . It gave the appearance that you were in the wrong place.

The property lack a sign to indicate where is the front desk of the hotel (second level). We helped numerous people coming to the hotel and getting lost as we did. No instructions were given to us. After several messages we discovered that their WhatsApp is the best and only way to communicate

Woohoo Rooms Chueca was a nice cozy little place. The rooms were clean and although the staff wasn't always on premises, they WERE very attentive to our needs through text and email. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is that you could hear the trash trucks from our window LOUDLY every morning at about like 3 AM.

Parking is expensive and you have pay to use an adjacent structure as there are no other parking options around. I wish we had known ahead of time, I also feel like you should get free or significantly discounted parking when staying at this hotel! This is my only reason for giving a lower rating. The room is small , but good enough for our stay. Bathroom is also small but updated . Good daily housekeeping, kept our bed and bathroom clean . Outside noise can be heard in the room. Sometimes people talking and hanging out in the street as late as 2-3 in the morning is very annoying. Their elevator is not working , so our heavy luggage is an inconvenience to carry up using the stairs. But the staffs are very nice and helpful, they speak English and the place is just a few min walk to Madrid Centro. It’s still worth the stay!

Our room was more that of a hostel than a hotel but the property was in a convenient location close to shopping, markets, parks, museums and lots of dining options between the Malasana and Retiro districts of Madrid. The room was super small with only luggage space inside a wardrobe next to the bed. We traveled with 2 backpacks but this still denied two people access to getting dressed/accessing luggage simultaneously since only one person at a time could get in the wardrobe when the doors were opened. Only one chair in the room so one person had to sit on the bed when relaxing or planning the days events. Our room (#6) had a single window that opened to a tall shaft-like courtyard which provided virtually no natural light in the room. The neighbors above our room were constantly active between 11pm and 3am moving about and making noise during these hours. Our air conditioner only worked half the time so we had to have our window open for air at night which made resting difficult on those nights. The room was clean with decent private bathroom and the check in service people were very polite and helpful. Staff are only on site during certain hours though (~9am-7pm) and access to the building and room floor is by electronic key. Small refrigerated bottles of water are provided which was nice. If you don't mind the tight quarters of a hostel room this property is in a good location for navigating the central Madrid areas.

No one was at reception when I arrived and the door was locked.even though it was within the stated hours for reception. The phone number provided in the confirmation email was not answered when I called and it turns out was not correct. It took several hours of me going to a nearby Starbucks and using their Wi-Fi to get it sorted. Otherwise everything was good.
