Continental breakfast is fine, nothing special about it.
Check in was good.
We got room 214, this room is fine, clean, facing the street. The building is older, so the heating is is wall mounted, it worked well to keep the warm room.
We left the room late on a few days, the cleaning ladies had already moved on to another floor, by the time we came back into the room at night, the room was cleaned, its nice that they came back after at some point.
That is all the nice things i have to say.
The building is older, but it shouldn't be in a state that i can hear my neighbors beside me and above me.
Above, it sounds like they are dancing with high heels on.
To the side, we could hear the tv being on, but i know the sound wasn't that loud because i could hear my neighbor snoring as if he was in the room.
The toilets make noise since others are using it on the levels above, closing the washroom door dealt with that.
The shower door couldnt keep the the water in the shower, so it would spill out on to the floor.
We just needed towels on the floor to not flood the place.

For a 3 star, its fine, my issue is that we had 3 nights in a row that we woke up in the middle of the night because of the thin walls and the sound traveling. I do like that the cleaning ladies came back after we had left and made the beds despite not asking for it, most places dont go back to clean.

The staff was a bit unfriendly when we arrived, not a big issue but would be nice to be greeted with a smile. The vending machine charged us for an extra bottle of coke that we didn’t have and tried to tell the reception but didn’t really wanna know. The rooms were okay but if you stay in the room right next to the lifts it can be very noisy. The location was good not too far from the airport and the Movistar arena.

Outstanding hotel in the heart of Madrid! The room was bright with patio, and exceptionally clean. Plenty of towels and consumables-in the room. Staff at check-in and check-out were very helpful. Excellent restaurants close by too.
We will stay again the next time we are in Madrid. Overall exceptional hotel!

Great Hotel Stay.

The hotel was in an excellent location, wlajing distance from many restaurant, stores amd tourists attractions, rooms and bed were very confortable, staff was great, & very helpful with instructions. The only problem was that someone in the cleaning staff, qhen cleaning the room next door, woke me up with doors slamming and kept slamming the doors while cleaning, I had to go out and complain to another cleaning crew so she would stop.

A very nice hotel close to metro station and quick access to the center of the city. Great staff and quick check-in. Room was clean and spacious. Room service and cleaning every day. Breakfast was nice buffet, great choice for everyone.

As an American visiting Madrid for the first time, this no-frills, budget friendly property was fine for sleeping and showering. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I felt perfectly safe at the hotel and in the surrounding neighborhood. I stayed in a room 7th (top) floor with a single bed in it. There was a desk and chair, bedside table, and chest of drawers in the ample sized closet. Besides a television and hairdryer, there were no other amenities. The room was refreshed daily during my week long stay which I sincerely aprreciated.

La verdad no lo recomiendo!! Lo único a su favor es que está bien ubicado, pero es el hotel más caro al que he llegado en España y el que peor ha estado. La habitación es muy simple y ruidosa, la cama y las almohadas súper incómodas. El baño pequeño he incómodo. Pero lo peor es el olor. Usan un limpiador súper fuerte. Definitivamente no volveré.

Great location as just 2 minutes away there is a metro station. Rooms are good size and comfortable. Breakfast offered was good with different options.
The only thing we didn’t like was that you could hear the people from the other rooms talking at night. We also had a room next to the elevator so we could hear it every time it was used.

Clean, reasonably spacious room. Front desk was very helpful (train schedules, arranging a ride to the airport, etc.). Pretty solid breakfast buffet. Super close to metro and plenty of dining options. And yet affordable. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Madrid.

The room was clean and simple. Although lack of a fridge or a kettle, you do have most of the basic. The front desk people were very nice and spoke English. The elevator is very small (European size) and could barely fit 3 people. The bed in the single room was a twin bed.

Muy buena ubicación. A dos cuadras de la estación Manuel becerra de tren la cual se conecta con las estaciones cercanas a todas las cosas por ver y hacer en la capital madrileña, el personal muy amable y educado. La limpieza muy buena y puntual. También muy cerca de varios restaurantes de tapas 😉 se puede ir caminando a todos lados porque alrededor hay farmacias, bakery y lugares para comer.

This was a perfect place to stay is you don’t plan on sleeping .
I have never had a less quiet room.
I could hear absolutely everything from the hallway and the street outside.
I was I. Room 101 right by the elevator and could hear people coming and going until at least 2am as well as front desk staff. The street was no less than 2 ft from my bed and I could hear them too!
The water pipes were also quite loud and unpredictable… I was woke every 1-2 hours and not even my jet lag could keep me asleep.
I did appreciate the gym which I think is not always available while traveling and the staff was friendly… location was perfect for me.
I have booked another stay here that is not refundable on my return from Italy this week so I am hoping a different room will have a different experience for me as far as quietness…
On everything else it is an ok hotel and the price is reasonable…
But do not accept room 101 EVER!

I have never stayed in a worst place in my whole life.
This is the most “expensive” cheap hotel I have stayed.
I paid 127 euros but the price should’ve been more than 50 euros.
I arrived at midnight in Madrid and I left the hotel at 9am.
I didn’t sleep at all as the mattress kept on sliding from the bed base !
It was a crazy experience.
I think the photos will explain better and with no words.

Old, friendly but far from the city center

The hotel was good in general but quite old. The only reason I stayed at the hotel might be Antonio at the reception. He was very friendly. He upgraded my room because my room was small and dark. Do not choose the cheapest rooms, they are very bad. Big rooms are better, price difference is not much. The gym is small but adequate. Elevators are the worst part of the hotel. They are very old and do not work properly. There is not much on the terrace. Too far from the city centre. Don't think that we can use the subway, I experienced theft by refugees in the subway, the subway is not safe. Generally an elite district. But I recommend it for locals, not tourists. Too bad there is no scale in the hotel. I couldn't weigh my luggage.

Although I had booked many months in advance, when I arrived at the hotel I had to wait nearly two hours to have a room prepared for me next to the elevator as I have mobility problems. When I got to the room I had to ask how to turn the electricity on. I was given no assistance to or into my room and the room itself was extremely basic. No refrigerator to keep drinks cool, no tea making facilities and the view from my bedroom window was of washing hanging out of bedroom windows in the building adjacent to the hotel; not ideal at all and definitely not worth the money I paid

Cute little hotel in a great area

I spent 3 days there and I can say it was a good choice. Really close to Las Ventas, Retiro Park, calle Alcalá, etc. Friendly staff, very helpful with a restaurant and small bar in the premises. According to one of the employees, that building used to be a student residence so they design is minimalistic. If you're driving they have a reserved parking space in front of the hotel. It's great for drop-off luggage and pick-up. They have a deal with a parking lot in the same block to charge you a little bit less than the regular day rate (14 euros instead of 17) during the Summer (please double-check). There's also a Police Station in the same block. Very quiet area. Room was good but the shower plate a little bit small. I recommend if you want to stay in a walkable distance of some great places for a fair amount of money.

This hotel is in a nice neighbourhood with bars, restaurants, a bakery, grocery store and pharmacies all close by.
It was an easy journey to & from the airport on the 8 & 6 metro lines.
Travelling in to the city centre was very easy with direct service on the 2 line.
The hotel is clean and friendly with basic but comfortable rooms. Breakfast was included in my rate with plenty of choice.
I would stay here again and the hotel was very good value for money.
