Staff really lovely. Pool clean as well as changing rooms. Bar/Restaurant nice, but expensive. Rooms need to be upgraded, was disappointed compared to our last stay. Also there was a very pdd noise all night coming from above, it sounded like a tap constantly running. It woke me up a few times. Amenities in room not the best. Cups are so small its ridiculous. Blackout blind had holes in so sun coming through. Could have been better.

The room was spacious and clean. We did have to ask for a chair in the room. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The rooms are quiet which is fortunate as we were there on a Christmas party night!
Breakfast was fine, the usual help yourself offering. Check in was with a machine however there were two ladies to help. Having human contact is so much better! Great location for Morley and Elland Rd stadium and just off the motorway. It’s worth a stay if you want to be close to the stadium.

Room was well decorated but needed some TLC and maintenance- I can imagine that due to great facilities and service that the hotel is often full with little time to decorate etc

Due to a pre-planned power cut all Sunday, check-in was only possible from 6pm, with no leisure club nor bar/restaurant available all evening. I booked 2 rooms. I am a regular user of Village Hotels and a Gym member.
I called to advise we would check-in late.
We arrived around 11:30pm to check-in.
We were not tole that one room was a disabled room. This is not convenient for tall able bodied people. Also, as a couple there was only one set of towels!
Next morning we were leaving early and headed to the Starbucks to find its closed for 3 weeks, again, we were nit advised at time of booking.
Booming 2 rooms at full rate and then getting what we did is so disappointing! I expect a full refund for at least the one room as this was not as expected!

The staff in the lobby were really welcoming and friendly and helped the check-in process go smoothly. As it was a really hot day, they were offering free mini ice creams in a cone which was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was air-con as well as a blackout blind, meaning we had a really comfortable sleep.

Hotel is feeling a little tired now, reported a couple of small issues with my room to reception after night 1, they weren’t resolved, but not overly surprised. I suspect there’s quite a list.

Only thing that I would suggest is to have a regular cup in the room for those wanting a cup of tea. The coffee cups to go with the coffee pod machine are really small for a regular drink. I am sure someone could have got us one if we asked but I didn't want to go and ask in the evening when we realised.

Warm welcome by the staff although I found the self check in machines a bit fussy. Room was spacious and clean and was well sound proofed as I heard no external noise or noise from other rooms. Tea and coffee making in the room also. We ate at the Grill restaurant and their was a decent choice of food at a reasonable price. There is also a starbucks on site It arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped, the pool was excellent and of a good size. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. As we stayed at the weekend the parking was free however I think it will be chargeable during the week, better checking befoer you arrive

We got stuck in the car park because of snow but the staff at the hotel were really helpful. They dug us out and pushed us out of the snow. They told us the safest easy to get back onto the motorway. We enjoyed our stay and used the gym and ate in the restaurant . All was very good.

The Village is a convenient hotel with good facilities such as the leisure suite. As a chain it suffers from chain food options and the bar/restaurant area was a bit chilly and very noisy with sports tv and a dj on so not exactly relaxing. Would be better to have a separate area to dine away from the bar. Room was comfortable and spacious. Overall not a bad stay for the price.

- A huge number of small moths were in the room. I spent most of the evening catching and removing them but they were literally everywhere.
- Air conditioning didn't work
- Room service main orders were both wrong. No one on the end of the phone to talk to or correct.
As there is no reception it made it impossible to find someone to talk to either during or at the end of the stay to on check out. Plus i have contacted the hotel via Hotels.com since with no response.
It is a shame given the location being so convenient but we are highly unlikely now to stay again.
