The woman at the front desk was derogatory and condescending - presumably because we were not dressed well enough after a 10 hour drive. I asked if the building and and room number would be easy enough to find / obviously labeled, or if we needed any specific instructions to find it. Her response was “I have faith in you.” Do better. Room and property is great for what it is - anything that seemed a little dirty was because of age. Won’t be back, but fine for passing through, as long as you look the part, apparently.

Went to Hilton Head to celebrate our anniversary for a weekend stay. Was woken up at 9:30 Saturday morning to loud hammering and banging in the adjacent rooms. The service manager argued with me saying that the maintenance did not start before 10:00 AM. The manager offered me $50 in Visa cards when I paid $500 for two night stay as comp. Have stayed at this property before will not return

The staff was rude checking in, we tried to put on my moms credit card, their machines was broken, Victoria said she would fix it, she didn’t. They charged me 2x we asked to move to the building a friend was in, she said no when another guy was trying to help us. She cut me off and was rude and dismissive-I’ve been a long time Marriott customer 25 yrs I won’t stay here at this resort again :( I had my 86 yr mom with me it was one night we left by 8am and they put us in back corner. Rude. then a manager called me the next day and accused me of reserving another room in the building we wanted. I said no we only came for one night. There are still 2 charges on my card. I guess I’ll call visa. Total cluster f- and 3 people couldn’t help us. The nicest guy was the brand new guy been there 3 days can’t rem his name-he was at least trying to help. SO disappointing. I will not stay there and I will tell people. It wasn’t nice and I didn’t deserve that. I was only there to help my 86yr mom see her friends after 2yrs we had to move her. The place was fine-kinda outdated and tacky fir $220 but it was clean. Bad taste when I was really excited about staying here for sure :(

Our stay was pretty relaxing. The villa was clean but out of personal habits we cleaned thoroughly after we unloaded the car and throughout the duration of our stay. Great property that’s on Broad Creek in the Shelter Cove area. The only negative was that the elevator was out of service during our stay and we were not made aware of the issue until it was too late to move to another property. We were fine with the stairs, but anyone who might not be able to carry all their items up to the third floor would have been in a very challenging situation.
