The room needs some updating as it is old and dated. Additionally, it was hard to fall asleep because we could hear people talking in the hall and doors opening and closing. Most annoying was hearing the ceiling creak every time someone upstairs moved about. It sounds like it isn’t supported properly or something. It kept waking us up. The breakfast was very very basic. We skipped it the second day altogether.

I had to wipe down everything with Clorox wipes, the refrigerator was not working, I called the desk
Downstairs the Friday, we got there.
maintenance check the refrigerator and it was not working, he called us and said they are no more refrigerators, so my all my food that I cooked and bought dome items from the store was rotten and spoiled....The next morning I called they sent another maintenance guy, he brought us a replacement refrigerator that was working....I spoke to all the rep at the front desk including April who gave me, Ms. Kronberg, the manager for a 200.00 refund, they said Expedia has to contact her so we can be refunded, I left so much messages for Ms.Kronberg....Nothing...My nest move is to post the video of the conversation with both maintenance guys and the refrigerator.

Breakfast was good. They only had omelettes with peppers in them. So no plain eggs for picky eating kids. They also used one spoon for the eggs, potatoes and the sausage so cross contamination was there for vegetarians who wanted potatoes.

The pull out sofa was surprisingly comfy. The shower and bathroom was clean. However, when I arrived one toilet paper roll was almost emptied so having that already freshened up would’ve been nice.

I was very disappointed to hear that my husband‘s room did not have any hot water for his shower. He contacted somebody right away and was told that somebody would come in to fix it. He it was not. He should’ve been moved to a different room.

Perfect Weekend getaway this was my second time, very clean rooms ,confortable pillows easy access to beaches and shopping. Free breakfast was perfect 👌 we'll be back , this area is so convenient away from the crowd at Coligny. A perfect quiet spot highly recommend

Michelle who checked us in was personable and gave us a map to show how to get around . The room was so spacious and clean . The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. They also had a very nice pool. I highly recommend this place .

Please don't say this is an oceanfront property. People are booking this hotel sight unseen and I know I booked an ocean front hotel. When I arrived this property is NOT ATTACHED TO THE BEACH. YOU HAVE TO DRIVE TO THE BEACH. The beach is nice and they offer free parking, however if I was staying on the beach, I would have beach access from the hotel. The breakfast was mediocre.

Stay was OK. On a positive note the staff was friendly and room was clean, but the furniture and decor is worn and outdated, the room was arranged awkwardly making it hard to walk around the bed. The AC didn't cool well and was noisy.

Everyone was very helpful and operated with great customer service. Room was clean, breakfast was a huge plus. Short distance to the beach. This was the 3rd time I have used Hampton Inn on 1 Dillon Rd and as usual we were very pleased. Will be back on our next trip to Hilton Head.

The hotel was very nice. Parking was super easy, checking in was easy and the staff was really friendly. The breakfast had a lot of things to choose from which was nice. Our room was very clean. The bathroom was very clean. The only thing they could work on is cleaning up the common areas, the elevator and the breakfast area.

The hotel, although right by the airport, was very quiet and tucked away. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good! The staff wasn’t overly friendly but they did what they needed to get us checked in. The hotel has a washing machine and dryer on site which was nice!

This hotel is good. It’s a decent place to stay but there is nothing fancy here if that’s your preference. It was crowded and it made eating in the morning difficult so we opted for breakfast elsewhere. For a plus, it was right on the walking path that we used daily on our visit.

Cranky staff- annoyed when asking for items
Not enough breakfast items- to choose from and had to ask for items to be stocked
Whole place needs updating- bathtub had six patches in tub, old fixtures
Cleaning- was better the second time cleaning staff came. When we arrived it was a toss up to stay or find somewhere else. We were too tired and it was non refundable. So we stayed.
No lights in parking lot or at swimming pool. It felt unsafe.

Improvements: Gym, TVs, Ambiance in lobby and Hallways... need modernization. Automatic door needs to fixed. It's so loud that you hear it open and close in your 2nd floor room.

The hotel wasn't really what I expected as far as the pictures on the site. Yea that's how the room looks just not that clean and nice. When we arrived to the hotel the elevator wasn't working we had to carry luggage up to the second floor due this inconvenience. Staff was nice hotel was okay. Good for the price this location is one hour from Parris Island and Port Royal.

The hotel needs a complete upgrade. The rugs were old and dirty and furniture was dirty and worn. The rooms were expensive and not worth it by the looks of the interior of the hotel. Bed was not comfortable but it was clean. Staff was helpful and kind and the breakfast was good. I would not stay there again.

Hotel was nice. I booked it because it said it was 8 miles away from parris island only to find out that was only if i went through the swamp and bay. It was in fact almost an hour away from marine corp recruit depot parris island. I had to wake up at 4am to get to the base on time to see my son run and graduate boot camp. Definitely a lot of wasted money
