This condo was excellent it had everything we needed very clean. Large rooms, washer and dryer in the room. Easy access to the beach and pool. Just minutes from a grocery store. Very family friendly I felt safe taking my kids to the beach by myself. The parking garage was a little tight as we drive a Jeep Wagoneer you would want to back in to insure you were able to get out as spots were limited for a larger vehicle but smaller SUV’s would be no problem. I would definitely stay again even with the parking. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

We love that the property is right next to the pool and also has plenty of space and has handicap access to the elevator. The staff was exceptional. The only thing I would suggest is a smart TV but then again you’re on vacation lol

There is a food truck event on Tuesdays, bike rental delivery and so much more. The front desk staff were amazing and the place was nice and cozy for my little family. I would definitely recommend for others and would also stay again.

Spacious rooms but don't count on the small hot tub being hot when you're ready to use it. The unit is not far from the beach, maybe 200 yards, city has a paid parking area for your car if you need that. No issues with our unit, we had (7) guests total.

I would definitely stay here again. The condos have 2 master suites which was very nice for two couples vacationing. It was conveniently located and usually just took us about 10 minutes to drive to wherever we were going.

We stayed here as a group of six adults and one baby, and I was genuinely impressed. The place was spotless, very comfortable, and incredibly convenient. It’s close to golf courses, the beach, and all the facilities you might need. Parking was easy and never a problem.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere made our stay really enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place and would happily come back. Great experience!

Clean spacious unit with easy beach access

We had a great stay with our family of 5. Plenty of space. Unit was clean and spacious with a great washer and dryer. There were nice yard games for the kids to play with. We have a very large car so we were nervous about the parking situation mentioned by other reviewers, but there were plenty of spots inside and outside and we had no trouble. Easy walk to the beach and a convenient location.

This was our first time staying here. The communication from the staff was prompt, thorough and friendly. The unit was spacious and comfortable and offered what you would hope and expect to find in terms of amenities. Less than a 10 minute stroll to the beach. We will stay here again next trip!

We enjoyed our stay at Royal Dunes. The condo was very spacious and bright. We had plenty of room for a family of six. We appreciated the three large bathrooms with accessibility features. The kitchen was a nice size and adequately stocked. Though could have used a bit more silverware. We enjoyed the pool and the easy walk to the beach!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great girls weekend getaway

Unit was really nice and spacious. Beds slept well. Property was a little older. We got to the property around 10:30 and I walked around in the cold for about 20 mins trying to find Building 2. It was definitely not intuitive. All bathrooms were supposed to have a hit dryer but two did not. All in all was a great place to stay and enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely stay there again.

I had an issue with one of the pipes in the bathroom leaked all.over the floor and they came and fixed it right away. Room was clean, and easy access to the building. Parking was a little tight but besides that I would recommend this place. We also got to see an alligator right from our balcony hanging out.

My family had a good time, there were 4 of us so both kids got their own bed so they were ecstatic about that. Only irritating thing was we were on the 2nd floor and the people above had kids that apparently liked to run and jump around which was clearly audible on our level. Nothing again the place for that but something to keep in mind if you have the option for the top floor.

Very Clean and Easy Access to the Beach!

Check in and check out were seamless. Very friendly staff. The location was amazing, just a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach. Walmart was only a couple miles away and lots of options for food and gas in the area. Rooms were clean and amenities were sufficient. Nice view of the golf course behind us from our room. Would for sure stay there again!!!

We could not have been any more comfortable or happy with our stay at Royal Dunes Resort. The staff was extremely friendly and responsive to our needs.The 3 bedroom, 3 full bath (including a jacizzi tub) condo was beautiful, quiet, spacious, and top notch. It is only an easy 5 minute walk to Islanders Beach Park and the beach was beautiful. The resort is lovely and tucked back in the gorgeous Port Royal Village area. Our group of five adults enjoyed this resort very much but it is perfect for families with children. I highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Royal Dunes! The condo was the perfect size for our family of six. Beds were comfortable, condo was clean, and we never heard a peep from any of our neighbors. The kids loved using the pool and hot tub! And the proximity to the beach (five minute walk) was incredible. We would definitely stay here again.

We have traveled with our kids quite a bit the last couple years and have never been treated so graciously. We felt like we were family there with staff, and the way they brought other families together for events at the pool area really set this place apart from all other places we’ve stayed. Our condo was clean. There are many improvements going on around the property and talking with the manager you can tell he is very passionate about making royal dunes a wonderful place. All communication was prompt and friendly. My mom traveled with us and uses a walker to get around and we requested special accommodations before our arrival. They have beach chairs and boogie boards to borrow and we loved that! It’s about a 5min easy walk to the beach (it’s across the street!). We drove my mom to the beach parking lot though, and if you forget your handicap pass, bring quarters for meter parking! It’s for a good cause. We also rented bikes that were dropped off at the resort and loved riding around the royal plantation area or to Paris Baguette for coffee and pastries. We just loved this place and really plan on coming back. The only thing is didn’t love (and I hate saying this) is out of the 4 beds in our rental the one was not super great, which happened to be ours. Everyone else had great beds, my kids did not want to leave. If we could bring our dogs we’d move in! Thank you Tyler and staff for an amazing week celebrating my mom’s birthday!

We loved the stay at this resort. Islander's Beach was just a few minutes walk away and was less crowded compared to Coligny.

The resort also had some activities planned throughout the week which made it stand out compared to some other resorts where we've stayed. The staff were super friendly and made your stay even better!

We're definitely planning our next trip here!

This is a great place to stay! Most people own their condos so not a lot of travelers. There is a pool for “babies” and both pools are heated. The condo was really nice and spacious.

The property is dated but clean and the grounds are very well kept. The inside of the condo was suitable for the price point and location (near the beach). However, the bed was very uncomfortable and the temperature settings were off per room. Cold in the main areas while sweltering in the bedrooms and vice versa. Check-in was smooth and staff very welcoming. Checking out not good at all. When I noticed our card was billed twice for the entire stay I called back an hour after checkout. The attendant (male) at the front desk was extremely rude impatient and hung up the phone abruptly. Only to have to call back and apologize for their error. If you're looking for a clean place at a good price, this could be your spot.

This was our first visit to Royal Dunes, but our second time staying on Wimbeldon. We like the area because it is close to the beach and relatively quiet. The property was very nice - I really don't think spatially you could ask for more! 2 large king sized bedrooms and one smaller room with 2 twin beds. Plus three full bathrooms! The kitchen area was spacious and everything was clean. Also one of the bathrooms has a jacuzzi tub!

The pool is a little small but we felt it met our needs and we liked that they provided pool towels! One item to note is that beach chairs (chairs you can take to the beach - not pool chairs) are on a first come first serve basis. I speculate that most guests just take them for the duration of their trip and are not returning them nightly like they are supposed to so they were not available during our trip on any day so we purchased some at the local store.

Overall, this property was wonderful! Clean, plenty of room and a great location. Staff interactions were always nice as well! I could not ask for anything more!

This property is not for a family with kids. We got called twice saying that we were walking too loud on the property and it was disturbing the guest underneath us. We felt like we were walking on eggshells our entire stay. We had to tell everyone not to move unless it was necessary to. Also, on our last night, the A/C stop working. Other thing those things, we enjoy Hilton Head as usual. However, we will not stay on this property again.

Very close to the beach. The unit was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed at. We were really impressed. The place was spotless. The staff was very helpful
when we got locked out. They were there in minutes to let us back in. This property is very dated compared to some others and could use a facelift. Other than the pool, we didn’t find much in the way of amenities. Maybe not the place for people staying with teens or young adults. There is an area with grills but it is quite weathered and not too inviting. It’s a shame bc the property is very clean and well kept otherwise. I do wish there were more pots and pans for cooking and some more items in the kitchen but we’ll know to bring our own next time. Overall, it is a comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are large.

One of out best stays on Hilton Head

Really great condo with lots of amenities. This location is a quick walk to the beach, in a less crowded area of the island. The staff were wonderful, and I saw them go out of there way many times with us and other guests. We’ll definitely stay here again.
