Liked the beach view and the beach was great. Outdoor pool was also fantastic. Staff during check in were not as friendly as expected, it took them a while (1.5 hours) to get our daughter a pack and play that was requested with anticipation. Meals were quite expensive and not as great.

Downside is that they charge for lounge chairs on the beach. I also wasn't able to find a beach towel. Parking is expensive and the resort fee is expensive.

One of the best places to stay in Hilton Head. Two outdoor pools were busy all the times and well maintained. Indoor pool was closed. Outdoor hot tub was extremely small. Food options are ok. Plenty of paid parking at the property. Overall well maintained clean resort.

The location was excellent. The pool grounds very nice! The exterior bar needs more shade. Our first room had light issues so we were moved to another room then that room had phone and tv issues, maybe back luck but still annoying. We were on the top floor with a view of the beach which was very nice. I would recommend the hotel. Bike riding on the beach was so fun. Very family oriented. Best girl at the front desk Anggun Wulandari..very helpful and friendly.

Everything about Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island was fabulous. The staff was exceptionally helpful, the grounds were beautiful, swimming pools and areas left no room for complaints. The beach is 'right there'. And if it couldn't have gotten any better, we had the opportunity to meet Mr. Charlie this morning as we were getting ready to depart. He came up to load our luggage & take it down to the car for us. Mr. Charlie went to work for the hotel on Labor Day,1978, and is tentatively planning on retiring and shagging full time this Labor Day after 48 years. After 48 years of working at the same place, Mr. Charlie only has the nicest of things to say about his employer. That says more than anything. I highly recommend staying here. I think your every need would be met! We will definitely be back.

Pool and room were nice. The staff was terrible. The room attendants, servers etc. We had to call the front desk 3 times to get a towel as they took our dirty towels and never replenished with clean ones. Was told by front desk they would be right up and they never showed so had to call down again a 30 mins later. This cost us to miss a dinner reservation. The service around the pool was awful as well. The servers would be standing around the pool chatting with other servers. You had to essentially make a scene to get their attention to order a drink/food. Also they charge 20 dollars a day for parking and 35 resort fee. Yet they offer no shuttle service such as the Omni so a car is essential. The parking should be included in the resort fee in my opinion. Also unless the experience with staff improves the resort fee is of no value imo. Seems other residents had the same experience as we overheard other families complaining also Overall location was great but I would suggest staying elsewhere in the palmetto dunes area. Omni, etc

The cleaning staff was very kind and efficient. The servers at the pool restaurant were very responsive and helpful. We waited for a long time to be served at the breakfast restaurant, and the buffet was very expensive. The one gentleman preparing the omelettes was really talented, but he was alone with a very long line and no support. I recommend they create a self-serve waffle, stand for guests to make their waffles on their own rather than having to wait in line.

Parking is not really close, no elevator from the parking garage, no lights in the garage, no luggage carts unless you use valet services, no microwaves in the room, laundry on site but no dirty laundry bag in the room, the AC sounded like a small plane taking off, the pool deck/path to the beach isn’t lit up well at all, rooms need some touch ups. Blue was a terrible experience but the cafe was great with great service and good food. The rooms were clean and the maid staff and front desk staff were nice.
I have been to much worse places but I can say as far as hiltons go this one missed the mark for us.

The hotel was clean, modern look with enough parking spots available outside but with a surcharge. Valet parking was available. Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean, beds comfortable and soft and bathroom was clean and nice. Shower was fi e and water pressure was ok. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The omelet station was great. The food selection was just enough but not enormous. Servers were friendly and prompt. Didn't use the bar or restaurants. Souvenir store was nice with good selection of food and small souvenirs. Pool was clean and there was poolside bar. The beach is right behind the hotel. Overall a nice comfortable and quiet place to stay. Strongly recommended.

Beachfront hotel… yes! As many amenities and updates as I expected from a Hilton… not quite. The bed was comfy, the majority of the staff was helpful and friendly, and the pool area was well stocked with towels and chairs. The bathroom was a little in need of updating and I really wanted that bathrobe that was listed as available.

Well maintained property. Clean room with great view. Pool and beach were great. Service level was hit or miss maybe because it’s the start of the vacation season. At times the food and beverage service was excellent and other times not so good (long wait for food delivery).

My main concern was that every charge I applied to my room for food, beverage or umbrella and chairs on the beach was immediately posted to my bank card. The amount was always more than the actual amount as I was told that was for “security” purpose and that that actual would be adjusted at checkout. My final bill was adjusted but it was very confusing. Normally the card does not get charged until you review the bill and check out.

We traveled to Hilton Head Island for my wife’s birthday. Our plan was to play golf a couple of times and relax by the pool/beach. That all was amazing! Restaurants on the island were all quality food. One of the three hotel elevators was inoperable so taking an elevator was slow and inconvenient. The indoor pool and hot tub was closed for maintenance and repairs (bummer). The staff were nice and helpful. The ocean view room was worth the upcharge. The main disappointment was the shower in the room. It had mold and had not been properly cleaned! Overall, the resort is in a great location and the amenities were adequate. Thanks Hilton

we arrived at 4:35 PM, our room was still not ready, even though check-in is at 3:00 PM. We were told they would call us when the room was ready, but nobody ever did. We had to return to the front desk ourselves to get our keys, and no apology was offered.
In addition, the staff was not aware that I had received a refund for a one-night cancellation, and they still had my reservation listed as three nights instead of two.
The room itself was fine, but overall the service was disappointing. We also checked out on Sunday and were not provided with an invoice, which is very unusual for a Hilton property

We loved the beach. The indoor pool was too warm and the outdoor pool was too cold. Our room was right next to the elevators which was not ideal because of people talking and congregating there. The Blue Restaurant was very expensive. The food and ambiance was not worth the $200 (including tip) that we paid for the two of us.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean.
My husband made a remark that it was not a quality hotel because the curtains were not the same length.

I loved everything about this property, it was absolutely beautiful. The food was amazing the staff was very friendly and the beach and property was so clean and gorgeous. When you walk in the hotel the smell was so nice and refreshing. Despite it raining the first two days we enjoyed the restaurants' food and drinks. The breakfast buffet was nice and full of everything one would love for breakfast. However I left a few items hanging in the closet and I called the hotel to have them shipped to me at my expense. The hotel manager over housekeeping was notified and made aware of the situation and spoke with her team which inturn lied and said items were not left. So unfortunately they have liars and thieves working among that friendly staff. Im just thankful it was nothing of great value, because I dislike thieves and liars. I hope that the young Hispanic lady enjoy my clothes. So please be sure you check the closets and dressers thoroughly before leaving that hotel or any other.

This property has great friendly service, excellent location, and it is well kept.
We enjoy being on the beach and only steps away from getting a nice lunch or a snack by the pools and overlooking the beach. It is really a great place for big and small families to enjoy, as well as, couples on a weekend trip!

The staff were so friendly and helpful! Especially Auggur (Perhaps Aaggur). She was an intern at the front desk and I cannot thank her enough for her help and kindness while there. She was wonderful to me.
The pool and beach areas were amazing and we loved having lunch by the pool. Everything was clean and welcoming.
I do recommend this hotel upgrading their bedding and bathrooms. The toilet was extremely LOW and looked like it was for a child. The beds were unbelievably lumpy and uncomfortable. We ended our stay early because of these two factors. I am not extremely old or overweight, I cannot imagine how difficult it could have been had my 80 year old mother tried to stay here with that toilet so low. Also, there is a large amount of walking involved to get into the hotel with a very large hill to climb from the self parking lot. I wish I had known since I do have bad knees.

Pools, beach, spa, all excellent; however, guests go up two flights of stairs to the lobby. Out front is just a circular drive for drop off. So every time you go to the car it is up and down stairs, including taking your luggage. Not really for seniors. It was not the usual lobby to say the least.

The views from this hotel are hard to beat. That being said, that is the only thing i would give 5 stars. The chairs by the pool are so hard to get because so many of them are only for rent, making it difficult for parents with littles to actually be close to their children to keep an eye on them. The upholstery in the dining areas, the curtains, the seating in the lobby ALL had massive stains on them and was so gross looking. There is a smell they are trying to pump through the lobby but it is SO strong it's overwhelming. Our bathroom wall had cracks in it and our room smelt musty. My husband tipped the valet $20 each morning for them to simply move the car, we needed the car a second time one day and the next morning I overhead the man who picked the car up the second time speaking poorly of my husband because he did not tip him. We have stayed here 3 times over the past 4 years but this will be the last time, it has unfortunately gone down hill significantly.

Went there for our 25 Anniversary and booked and paid for a king size suite only to discover they put us in a double queen bedroom. After much discussion on the phone which the gentlemen at the front desk tried to tell me we booked a double queen only to realize they messed up. We negotiated a discount on the stay. Also the A/C didn’t work the first night which maintenance fixed the next day. Other than that nice place.

The Hilton beach resort had nice amenities. The location is great. Palmetto Dunes area is really nice. The property itself is aged. Our room had a loose shower faucet, loud toilet, an outlet plug was loose, the HVAC did not properly work for the first night. The management would not let us change rooms due to a full hotel but did waive that resort fee. The hotel staff was nice but understaffed for how busy the resort was.

Shows its age in a few way, but renovations are underway…with some more investments to update the property it could be fantastic. Overall, solid value. We had a good stay at this hotel.

The room was modern, well decorated and spacious. Beds and chairs in the room were comfortable. Bathroom was modern and well lit.

The hotel has on-site restaurant but we found the menu options a bit limited. A shop in hotel lobby offers beverages and snacks. A few restaurants are located within short driving distance.

Hotel has indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Pool towels and available. From the pool deck you can walk right to the beach.

They have a spa and bike rental shop but we didn't get a chance to try them out.

The only negative I found was laundry room. We needed to wash and dry the swimwear the night before checkout. They only had two driers in the entire hotel and both were broken.

Overall it was a good experience. Would recommend it to others.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Hilton Hotel in Hilton Head. From the moment we arrived, the condition of the rooms was unacceptable.

The first room we were checked into had a wet carpet and a strong mildew mold odor that was impossible to ignore. It felt unsanitary and uncomfortable immediately. Even the hotel staff seemed visibly concerned and disappointed by the state of the room, which only reinforced how unacceptable the situation was. The bathroom floor was dirty, there was hair present, and the entire space felt neglected and poorly maintained.

We were moved to a second room, but unfortunately, it wasn’t much better. It was dusty, dingy, and still had an unpleasant smell. At that point, it was clear that the overall condition of the hotel was not up to standard.

For a Hilton property, this was extremely disappointing. Cleanliness and basic upkeep should be a given, and this experience fell far short. I would not recommend staying here based on the current conditions.

This is an old hotel, it used to be Hyatt hotel and was purchased by Hilton. The y had a covering of green slime over most of the floor caused by an algae growth. Room service did not clean on any day and we were told that room cleaning is every other day. Not good for the price of that missing service.

We had booked for three nights but left because of the condition and lack of service after two nights. Front desk is a place of smiled anf nothing else.

Never here again!

We had a very convenient and enjoyable stay at this resort. The property has great amenities and is perfectly set up to enjoy the beach while still having everything you need within the resort. Our room had beautiful views.

The breakfast was a highlight—there were plenty of options and everything was well organized. The staff members were also extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay, which really made a difference.

However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The dinner food did not meet the same standard as the rest of the experience. The buffalo wings were unfortunately too hard to eat, and the Angus burger was quite dry.

Another concern was the bathroom floor, which was very slippery and not really suitable for kids.

Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with great amenities and wonderful staff, and it’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach.
