These are apartments that are owned by the owners. They live on the property. Debbie was friendly. I wanted to cancel my reservation but was not able to. This \"complex\" is very well kept, clean, when I entered my room very fresh scents. Its really far away from everything so you would need transportation. The owner's can see your every move when you come and go so no privacy. But if you are looking for a place to relax and read a book. I think this is it. There were no amenities just a pool in the center and a tropical them. They do give you beach chairs and a cooler to bring to the beach. However, I would not book this hotel again.

We had a very pleasant stay (1 child, elementary school). The owners Debby & Hank go above and beyond to ensure comfort of their guests. Tranquil, private, quiet place, away from the big touristy hotels. You will need to rent a car to move around the island, especially w/ child (and the hotel helped us with that).

Due to weather I arrived a day later than expected but Henk made me feel right at home. He gave me a tour, showed me my room(with complimentary espresso), and gave me a map to show me where the beaches were. Rent a car and drive to a different beach each day. Henk and Debby will give you a beach chair and towels and you can rent snorkeling equipment for the day. Paradera is centrally located so it takes less than a 10 minute drive to be at any of the beaches. There is a market less than a quarter mile from the hotel with anything you need. I enjoyed late at night when the colored lights would come on around the property, so beautiful just sitting there with a drink. I never saw more than 4 people around the pool during my stay, so it's very private. Debby is also very kind, she showed me where to park during the Oranjestad Grand Parade so that I could leave without my car being stuck. I couldn't have picked a better place.

It was located in a quiet area Hank and Debra were very kind. Constant ants on kitchen, bathroom and dresser top. Microwave was on top of refrigerator; very inconvenient, especially since my wife couldn’t reach it. No television in bedroom. Internet didn’t work, even after seeking assistance from owners.

Very disappointing. Office never answered the phone. The appliances didn’t work. No plates or silverware. Add was misleading about distance beach or really anything. It’s basically in the middle of neighborhood section. A taxi ride from here to anywhere will be about $25.00, which adds up quickly.

We arrived at Paradera Park after relocating from a few nights at a very exclusive (expensive!) venue where my fiancee had proposed a few days earlier. We wondered if we'd feel a bit of a comedown to leave a private beachside bungalow resort for more humble accommodation, but NO, we absolutely loved Paradera Park!
From the moment we arrived we were greeted like friends by our lovely hosts. The photos just cannot do the garden & poolside area justice- a truly heavenly tranquil oasis, where palm trees sway, tropical flowers abound & little green hummingbirds flutter amongst their colourful petals. The pool is large enough for a swim & amazing to cool off in. The rooms are lovely, clean & spacious with lots of storage space so you can fully unpack and not have a cluttered room. The kitchen allowed us to fully self-cater, breakfasts outdoors overlooking the garden, dinners by the poolside BBQ by candlelight. The hosts also provide a large glass bottle for water and a large cooler box that we took picnics to the beach in every day which saves you loads. Beach chairs & big fluffy beach towels were also provided & you can rent snorkels for $10 a day.
The best bit of a really fantastic stay was our hosts bringing us a bottle of fizz as we relaxed by the pool one day- our friends had called to arrange a bottle of champagne and the hosts went out and bought it for us and wrote the note. So special. We really cant recommend Pandera enough. Thank you for the wonderfl memories x

Ah, the calm!

So my husband and I journeyed to Aruba for the first time to attend a wedding. We didn’t seek out the typical crowded, crazy and expensive accommodations but we had a tremendous time.
The island was amazing (for me, it’s always about the people and the relationships)! And Paradera Park is sublime if you’re ok being off the beaten tourist path and want a little oasis tucked away from city center and the Low and High Rise row that hugs the island’s phenomenal coast.
Henk and Debby are very warm and hospitable Paradera Park owner/hosts. Their 17 unit studios/apartments are perfect if you crave a quiet, peaceful and totally relaxing environment. The only con is being dependent on transportation-either private or public-to visit the majority of what the island offers its guests. If you’re idea of vacay is to meet and greet the locals and chill, this is your place!
Sit back and enjoy the place touted as One Happy Island!!!

A hidden jewel

This is an awesome hotel in a quiet location far form the crowds. If you are renting a car to explore Aruba, the hotel is very centrally located and you'll reach any location in the island within 15-30 minutes. The room is very spacious and you'll either have a balcony with view to the garden or direct access to the pool. The pool area is quite inviting, we decided to start our trip by enjoying a cold beer resting there for a while. Debby is an amazing host, she can help you by email or phone before you arrive and will have great suggestions for you when arriving. The room will be provided with beach towels and you can ask for a cooler and beach chairs to use for free during your stay. The hotel is around 2 blocks from a small super market where you can buy things for your meals if you are cooking and is about 10-15 minutes from the big super market. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. If we are back in Aruba I'm sure we will not shop around and just stay here again.

The perfect place to get away, while getting away.

First, let me start by saying I am a nervous traveler. I like to stick with the name brands on the main street when choosing a place to stay. My wife ultimately convinced me that we needed to stay at Paradera Park. The picture of the pool on the website sold me... HANDS DOWN THE BEST DECISION OF THE TRIP!!!! We absolutely Loved our time there.

The room was very nice and very clean. The kitchen was clean and very functional. We were able to save some money on food, by making lunch or dinner at the hotel. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant and efficient. The bed was pretty soft(which I don't care for) but it was sturdy and sheets were clean and changed daily. The bathroom was very clean and comfortable, if on the smallish side. I'd imagine an average size person would be quite alright.

Can we talk about the pool for a second? You saw the picture, and you were like \"wow that's a beautiful pool.\" Well this is one of those cases where the picture doesn't do it justice. The whole outside pool area is stunning. The flowers were blooming and added brilliant splashes of color to the area, and the lights at night were amazing.

Deb and Hank could not have been nicer. They were such gracious hosts and took time out to answer all of our touristy questions. They gave us some wonderful \"non-touristy\" dining recommendations.

A rental car is a good idea if you stay here, but you are only a 5 min drive to Eagle Beach and all the mega resorts.

Quiet, Relaxing Hotel

I stayed here in a deluxe studio with my husband and we were very happy with the hotel. The room was no frills but it was spacious and comfortable. It had a large bathroom and a little patio that faces a lovely pool area. We liked having a kitchenette to make breakfast in the morning. The owners of the hotel are very nice and helpful. They gave us great suggestions on places to go and we booked a couple of excursions through them. The location of the hotel is very convenient to pretty much everything (Aruba is tiny anyway) but you will need a car because there isn't really anything within walking distance. We liked that it is on a quiet street, not in the center of the resort area, but this is probably not the place for singles looking to party. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone budget minded looking for a clean, quiet place to stay in Aruba!

We used the hotel as a launching point to explore the island and the fact that they provide beach chairs, a cooler and beach towels made exploration so much more comfortable. Cannot wait to return to this hotel and beautiful island.

Quiet and secluded hotel...

Absolutely loved this place! The room has a small kitchen and pool is equipped with a grill, which is nice since restaurants are quite expensive. The owners are really nice people that strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is located inland away from the high rise hotels and, many times, we had the pool to ourselves. Beach chairs, towels, and a cooler were provided so you could spend the day on the beach, if so desired. Debbie suggested places to eat (all were excellent) and booked excursions for us. Literally did nothing but relax. Sweetest couple.

This hotel is a gem. It is a little oasis in aruba. It is clean and neat. It is charming and inviting. The staff is friendly and generous. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchens are clean and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on our deck as well as sitting by the pool. Take their restaurant recommendations as well---they directed us to the best local food on the island. Avoid the tourist restaurants if you can.

Last minute booking ended at this place 10 minute drive from beach. The location is not something to be excited about. Be careful they charge additional guest $25 per night, after 2 guests, even for kids! Don't know why.

Great, well maintained, clean hotel

I very seldom write reviews but in this case I thought it is well deserved.
I was surprised at how well furnished and clean the room we stayed at was. Debby, one of the owners I presume, was very friendly and helpful in getting us checked in.
Prior to my arriving there I e-mailed her with a couple of questions and she promptly responded.
Although I didn't get a chance to take advantage of it, they have beach chairs and coolers to borrow for a day at the beach.
The hotel itself isn't that easy to find or that close to the beach, but if you want a good value, this hotel should definitely be on your list.

You'll feel like you have entered paradise!

My husband, daughter (16) and I loved the Paradera Park Apartments and highly recommend it. If you want to experience a piece of paradise, this is the place to stay. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, from the view on your patio and continuing on the few steps it takes to get to the wonderfully lush pool area.

It's a plus that it is a small \"resort\" and not located in the hotel district because you can close out the rest of the world if you want to; and the beaches and restaurants are only a 10-15 minute drive away.

The owners, Debby and Hank, are very sweet and hospitable. They provide daily housekeeping and the one-bedroom suite we rented was always very clean and inviting with fresh flowers, towels, etc. Another great feature is that they also provide guests with a cooler, beach chairs and towels to use for the duration of their stay.

We'd ordered the snack and breakfast offered to new arrivals, which was already in the fridge when we arrived. The snack was plentiful with beers, soda, pizza, meats, cheese and buns. The breakfast included eggs, buns, jams, orange juice.

Can't say enough good things about Paradera Park Apartments. If you are going to Aruba, this is the place to stay!

PS The name(in the U.S., anyway) might suggest that these are long-term apartment rentals, however, all 17 rooms and suites are for vacationers.

We loved staying at Paradera Park in Aruba. The room was great, clean with great beds and patio. The pool and grounds are very colorful with palm trees and flowers.
The hosts, Debbie and Henk were awesome. They gave us a cooler, chairs and towels to take to the beach. They also made great suggestions for tours and boat excursions, saving us some money!
The hotel is in the middle of the island, only about 10 or 15 minutes away from any beach and restaurants, so you will need a rental car.
Overall a great experience.

I would recommend Paradera Park to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet, relaxing place away from the crowds at the hotels on the beach. It's only about a 10 minute drive to Oranjestad and the beaches nearby. Henk and Debby are excellent hosts and very helpful. The only reason I didn't give Paradera a 5 rating is that the bathroom needed work. The shower is old and needs replacing (the doors are very hard to slide) and the toilet took at least 5 minutes to refill after every flush. The room and bathroom were spotless but as I said, the bathroom needed some work.

Paradise!!!

If I am able to go back to Aruba, this is where I'll stay. It was absolutely paradise. We were greeted in the driveway and shown where to park and given a tour of the facility and our apartment. We stayed in the studio apartment which was a generous size, had a nice kitchen, nice decor and beautiful private outside patio where we ate breakfast every morning. I did not see any of the other apartments, but they all had patio's similar to ours. The common pool and outside seating areas were also beautifully landscaped. The rooms were very well maintained and cleaned daily. This is definitely the place to go if you want somewhere that is quiet but centrally located. You will need to rent a car, but you really should anyway so that you can see the rest of the island. We loved this place!

What a great place to relax and feel at home. Our one bedroom suite was lovely, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed for morning coffee or to prepare a full meal if desired. The balcony overlooking the gardens and pool area was a perfect place to enjoy birds, butterflies and bougainvillea. Henk and Debby are the best, they go above and beyond to insure that their guests are having a great experience in Aruba. They helped us navigate a situation that arose while we were there with ease and humor. Paradera Park is highly recommended.

Better option than big beach locations

Initially, we thought that this being our first trip to Aruba, we should stay in one of the big beach front hotels. After some additional; research, we decided on Paradera Park. The central location turned out to be an excellent launching place to explore the island. We always had parking in the lot and there was no issue of security or feeling unsafe. Truth be told, we went all over the island and never felt any security concerns nor be uncomfortable. The Hotel supplies a cooler and beach chairs so we could go to beach to beach comfortably and spend the day out and about. We were only about 10-15 minutes from downtown and Palm Beach. We were given great recommendations for local restaurants and a bakery for morning coffee and breakfast.
We felt like we had the pool area to ourselves.
The room itself was always clean and more than enough room. Having the cook top and refrigerator allowed us to have some items at the ready without always going out.
The shower area was a bit cramped, which is the only thing holding me back from a 5 star rating. I would recommend the hotel to others travelling as an alternative to the cookie cutter big box beachfront hotels.
Other than to get to the natural pool (four-wheel drive required), we got everywhere with just our rental car.

Paradera Park was great in the aspect that you don't feel like a number. Hank and Debbie were great and always helpful on the best spots of where we were spending our time (if you don't want to feel like a number then stay here Debbie and Hank are great). They even arranged a rental car for me at the best rate. I search for a car but, because it was busy they said all sold out. Debbie worked very hard to get me one to be sure. I would Recommend that you do get a rental car as Paradera is in the middle of the island in very safe area. Paradera Park is about 10 min to downtown and 10 min to the high rise area. So when you wanted to go to the beach you were stuck on just one beach. We found a beach called baby beach. Very clean and not to many people mostly locals. It offered great snorkeling and beautiful blue water that was very calm. Paradera is not all inclusive but, if you want to experience amazing food try the lighthouse**(must see at sunset you can see the whole island), salt and pepper and bingo. Senor Frogs was fun if you are looking for some nightlife entertainment.

Relaxing sanctuary in central location.

We chose Paradera Park because we seek to find properties away from the busy resort zone to get a more local flavor and avoid the chaos and noise. We are always a little leery of glowing reviews, but found them to be spot on here. If anything, the property exceeded our expectations. The owners live on the property and are both accessible and attentive to every detail. They have much local knowledge which they readily share and offer small conveniences, like beach chairs, coolers, even some beach toys for the younger visitor. They guided us to some less crowded locations where we enjoyed the same beauty as the resorts without the crowds. Also helped us find local eateries that were great to enjoy the catch of the day. The property itself is within a 10-15 minute drive of beaches, attractions and any other services you might need so you do need a car. It is gated at night, but we never felt uneasy about any activity or about the neighborhood. The buildings are well lit, maintained and very clean. By 8am, there are people picking up every leaf or twig that might have fallen in the night on the beautiful garden/pool area. The daily housekeeping staff was great also. The pool and surrounding huts for relaxation were all meticulous. Units have kitchen areas if you want to cook a meal or just make a pot of coffee. So, if you like a quiet place to return to after exploring and getting the local flavor, this is your kind of place...and you'll save a little coin doing it.

Excellent, but only if you rent a car

It was exactly as advertised. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The added amenities of beach chairs and beach towels were a nice touch. Having to pay for in-room internet was a bit of a let down. You have to have a car to travel to any place of interest, so be prepared to drive. Parking was ample and free. The room and the shared spaces were clean and quite usable. Despite having dogs across the street, the room was well acoustically insulated. It was exactly as advertised.

Great Location and Great Price

This hotel is great for people looking to be near the best beaches on the island (Eagle Beach and Palm Beach) without having to pay for those expensive, large, high-rise hotels that cost more than twice as much per night. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in a friendly atmosphere, great location, cheap rates, and an overall luxurious accommodation. I would recommend having them help you book a car rental so that you can enjoy the whole island (it's only 2 miles long), since they know the places there and they can get you the best rates. Highly recommend Paradera Park for anyone looking to save money without losing out on a great stay.

Best hotel in Aruba!!

Tucked away from the crowded, noisy hotel strip, Paradera is a quiet oasis away from it all. You need a rental car but Amigo and Econo rental offer cheap options.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island unless I owned my own home there.
Debbie and Hank are consummate hosts!! No other hotel gives you beach chairs and a cooler for the length of your stay. And the grounds are beautiful!!

Nice comfort hotel

Very nice staff, perfect to go sleep. Hotel doesnt have many amenities or restaurants close. Inside the room could be provided shampoo, conditioner as the other hotels and motels does. However, the staff was very friendly, always willing to help or answer questions. Easy check in and check out.

Very good service and good value for money

We stayed at Paradera Park for one night as we were arriving on a late flight and wanted to save a little money on that night's accomodation before checking into a beachfront hotel.We arrived by taxi and Debby had very kindly left out our keys for us and said we could check in the next morning instead as it was late.She had even left cold drinks for us in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Our room was spacious with good air-con and very nice bathroom.The kitchen facilities were good although we did not use them. The pool and garden were lovely and peacful.Although pool is small it was very clean.Some lovely hammocks in the garden too.Paradera is off the beaten track so you would need a car if staying here.It would then be a great base for exploring the island as it is right in the centre so no more than 15/20 minutes away from anywhere.Good value for money too.

Quiet, friendly place

I loved this place. It was out of the way, quiet, very relaxing. The owners/staff were friendly; the rooms kept neat and clean. The pool was a blessing to be so close to my room and the hammocks are low enough not to fall out of and pleasant any time, but especially at night to rest under the stars and enjoy the breezes. Landscaping is beautifully done. Want rest and relaxation? This is the place for you.
Aruba can be expensive: We ate in our kitchen supplied with dishes, fridge, stove, microwave, etc. They supplied beach chairs and cooler for no cost to use the whole visit. They even supply a car lock to protect your car if you want to use it.

Great place to stay in Aruba

My wife and I love this hotel. It's the second time we've visited Aruba and wanted to stay at Paradera Park again the second time. Room is great. Has a kitchenette, very comfortable bed, cable TV, lush landscaping, great pool area, and the room and grounds are immaculately kept. It's a very small hotel that is family owned and operated. The owners are lovely people who live on the property and are always available to help with suggestions for sightseeing, outfitters, restaurants. We'll never stay anywhere else in Aruba.

the 10 minute hideaway

the hosts are Fabulous. so helpful & attentive. located 15 minutes from everything via car rental. clean. an oasis away from commercial existence. availability of materials, food, hospitality, excursions...exceptional. highly recommended! !!

A little oasis of romance and charm

It was a great stay. It felt like we were at a b&b. Paradara Park is located in the center of the island so we rented a car am has the chance to see the less explored side of Aruba:). I was very pleased that we started our vacation there !!!!

Pleasant quiet hotel

I stayed one night whilst travelling and the owner couldn't have been more helpful organising where to eat in the when i arrived and prior to connecting my next flight. Had a kitchenette which i didn't use but air conditioning worked well and bed comfy.
Other travellers had a delayed flight and owner stayed up to make them welcome and assist them as hire car company had closed due to late arrival

Comfortable and pretty place

Paradera Park was very comfortable if you're looking for a quiet oasis away from the very generic atmosphere of the high-rise hotels. It's off the beaten path a bit but once we familiarized ourselves with the layout of the island and its main roads, we had no regrets lodging away from the beaches, travelling to the beaches and other attractions by car, cooking for ourselves, and otherwise enjoying the very relaxed atmosphere of Paradera Park Apts. If you don't mind driving to get to where you need to go and seek something other than the traditional hotel experience, you'll be happy you chose this place.

Value for your dollar...

Grounds were very beautiful and very clean. Rooms were European style.. functional but not fancy or over furnished. Small shower stall and 5 miles from the beach but neither would keep us from staying there again.

Superb Experience at Paradera Park

We just returned from a week long stay at Paradera Park. It was everything that prior reviewers have stated and more. We would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to be away from the hustle and bustle of the beachfront accomodations around Eagle and Palm beach and explore Aruba on their own terms. Please note that both these beaches and other major attractions on the island are no more than a 10 minute drive from this location. Debbie and Henk the owners were most helpful in providing us with tips on places to go including restaurants, bakeries, beaches not mobbed by tourists etc. The studio was well equipped with a kitchen, fridge microwave, tasefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool area and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and provide for ample opportunities to kick back and relax. There is even a gas grill poolside that we used to grill fish (barracuda) that we bought at the Zeeroever at Savaneta:) We will most certainly return.

I was not happy at all

Hours and hours trying to reach someone because we couldn't find location. Kept going to voicemail. Drove around for 2 hours late at night it was so dark. They had a Beautiful pool area but that was it. Did not think room looked like it did online. Much smaller. Plus we were out of the country so it was a total inconvienence to not be able to reach any one.

Quiet place: no crowds, no disturbance

This is the eighth place I have stayed in while vacationing in Aruba. My number one choice so far is the Eagle Beach area. To be honest, Paradera Park Apartments is not a hotel. This is a quiet place, suitable for people who rent a car, will buy groceries, and do their own cooking.
