The room was clean and comfortable for what it was. I didn’t know when I booked this place that we would have to walk up and down 23 outside stairs everyday.
I was informed of the code code to get in the building, and our door would be open with keys on the counter when we arrived. That was not the case. Thankfully, the cleaning staff was still there and helpful. They had to get us the code to unlock our door.
The next morning, we were locked inside of our room because the door knob was broken. There is a door knob and a deadbolt. I opened the window, and I yelled out at a gentleman that was sweeping up the parking lot. And of course, there was a language barrier he didn’t understand.. I then, messaged on WhatsApp that we were locked in our room and could not get out. I received an auto response stating their hours of operation were from 8:30 AM to 5pm. We had been trying to get out for an hour. I messaged them back and told them, it was 8:30 AM. They finally responded that they would send maintenance. We had taken a butter knife and removed the door knob and were able to open the door. Maintenance arrived at that moment and put the broken door knob back on. They told us we were not able to lock the door knob. We could only use the deadbolt from here on out. So that is what we did.
Getting a warm shower did not exist. The water never turned hot. We took cold showers the entire time we were there.

Turibana Plaza room 14 was comfortably cool and clean. Adequately equipped with pots, pans, utensils, panini toaster, coffee pot, blender, electric kettle, microwave with vents & surface lights, stove for meal prep. I slept like a log in my king size bed. Looked forward to my hot water showers. Staffed checked in on me regularly. The room attendants were friendly but you may need a Translation app as most are Spanish-speaking. The ‘guard dogs’ are ‘on duty’ most nights as sound echoes through the rooms but I slept through it. Felt safe as the main entrances to the rooms have security codes. Overall I was quite comfortable at Turibana. I definitely would return.

Everything was excellent, from the booking till our check out. Turibana Plaza was a nice and quiet place. The check in process, although there is no front desk, went pretty smooth. Every detail is shared beforehand and the local host is always in contact with you. I also like the fact the room has its own kitchenette. The poolside is also well maintained. This is a nice cozy place that I would recommend and definitely stay at again.

Everything was as advertised, no disappointments. Turibana Plaza makes an excellent base for exploration of the island, you do need a car to get around and explore. We especially enjoyed the pool after a day of chasing around, we had it to ourselves several times. Try Cafe 080 for a meal within walking distance and Yen Yen Bar and Restaurant for Chinese take out. Enjoy.

Enjoyed our stay much...pool area & grill such an asset...however, the kitchen utensil items need restocking (especially compared to Unit 6 that we were in back in January)...we even left some knives behind that we brought with us...

Pay for what you get I guess! It was extremely noisy. The bathroom smelt like sewer that was so overpowering when walking in. The door to hallway was not sealed properly so any noice came right through. Didn’t feel very safe here.

Not a fancy hotel, but we had everything we needed. The room was comfortable. Full size kitchen with coffee maker, toaster oven, pots etc. to prepare a quick breakfast. Two beach chairs and a cooler are a great addition. Short drive to supermarkets and beaches. A car is a must. Overall great value for the price. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great budget property in Aruba. Conveniently located within driving distance of every popular attraction around Palm Beach, Noord and Eagle beach. You absolutely need a vehicle if staying at this location.

We needed 4 nights mid-trip and landed here. The room was clean and had almost everything we would need, except a major missing item any hotel room should have- a safe. I do not recall if the room stated there would be one when I booked but we were majorly disappointed when we realized there wasn’t one. I reached out to the hosts asking about it and never received a response. On our 2nd night we arrived back to the hotel with more luggage and there was no power to that part of the island so we were completely locked out of the building as the exterior doors need to be opened electronically with a keypad code. I messaged and called numerous times to see if there was someone to come physically unlock the doors and never received a response. So here we are with luggage and food just sitting outside the building. My friend went in search of someone and found a kind woman (housekeeper?) who had keys. She unlocked the doors and left the latch open so the doors would stay open. The doors were still unsecured 2 days later when we left. The beds are TERRIBLY uncomfortable and the pillows are so bad!! The tv was all in Spanish and we couldn’t figure it out, thankfully I had a Firestick. The room size was fine for 2 adults and the pool was GREAT! I wish it had railings to aid in entering/exiting but my friend was there to help me. The stairs were a real pain for bringing luggage in and out, a kind man helped us at checkout. Likely wouldn’t stay again. Hosts need better communication!

Turibana deserves more stars. For the price, it was exactly what we needed for this trip. Self checkin was easy peasy and the apartment was super clean with modern finishes. They even included little thoughtful amenities like beach chairs and a cooler which helped us save some cash at the beach.

The apartment was perfect for our needs except the shower stall was too small. We were very upset because the day before we were flying to Aruba we had not yet received the information for checking in. When I sent them a WhatsApp message I did not get a response. When I called I was told that I should have been sent that information by her partner that manages that property but that she would send me the information right now. 3 hours later we still did not receive the information, I called and did not get an answer this time. I started to get anxious and panic about what was going to happen when we got to Aruba the next morning. Finally at 9pm we were given the information. When we got to the apartment the whole place looked like it was under construction. Workers started coming to the complex between 7-730am and all of the noise echoes so there was no sleeping late on our vacation.

I was disappointed by the condition of the property. The room was okay. The bed was very uncomfortable and sits very low. The property is under renovation. The owner should warn prospective customers before collecting our money. The loud noise from construction was very disturbing. Overall my stay was okay!

The place is nice and quiet. You will have your own privacy. The cleaning ladies are very nice and will help you if you have questions. The inside of the studio is very clean and simple. Perfect for a single or couple's trip. An inside door lock can be installed for added safety. I'll give this a 9/10

We enjoyed the stay. Liked that it had a full kitchen and refrigerator. We had the King with balcony view. The balcony has a rack to dry clothes. The property has a self service apartment style to it which means no daily room service, which we were okay with. The only negative thing i can say was that our bathroom had a sewer smell that didn’t go away even after leaving the door open and we did not have an air freshener to mask the smell for a while. The pool area is very clean and nice to enjoy with a bbq and hammock. It’s also very close to the hot touristy spot with waterfront hotels and restaurants.

Convenient location. Only about 15 minutes from airport. Room was clean and kitchen well stocked. Had everything we needed. I would suggest an additional lock, like a deadbolt or a latch lock. Do away with the bedskirt, it's a hazard. Slipped on it a couple times. Bathroom had shower gel and shampoo in the shower, cooler and beach chairs in the room. Staff was awesome. Gave us some great places to check out, communicated by email and Whatsapp. If you are a light sleeper, get a room on the inside, away from the street. We loved out balcony, but you do hear the cars going by. Would definitely stay here again.. Price was great. Walkable local restaurants and bars nearby.

I was hesitant to book this property but after reading the reviews I decided to book. Our first night we had to stay in a different room due to someone else getting the same room. The next day we moved to the correct room. This property is very clean and the rooms are nice. I stayed in the king bed room with a sofa bed. I do recommend renting a car if you stay here.

It's close to everything if you have a car which you need in Aruba if you're planning on exploring beyond the tourist hotels or staying longer than a few days. The rooms are clean and safe.

The apartment was pretty small our biggest concern was the bathroom the way the shower head is facing they only had a curtain to cover and so much water would get on the floor. We contacted them to have someone clean the room no one ended up coming but they did leave towels later on. It is a very small apartment we had gotten no windows no view of anything. It’s a bit outdated the apartment.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very nice and helpful. The property is very clean and quiet. Our room was very big, clean and tidy with all modern amenities and a balcony with a gorgeous view. I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

I checked in the rooms looked wonderful, only bad thing was there was a leak in our bedroom . Our agent transferred immediately when we contacted them ( Via WhatsApp only). The 2nd room they placed us also had a leak as well. Again, the transferred us to a 3rd room with a balcony. After 2 days they advised we had to move back to one of the rooms that was leaking because the room we were in was for other people. we once again attempted to to the room and the leak was never fixed and leaked on our belongings once again. We made the ultimate decision just to stay in the room with the balcony. What a night maire changing rooms 3x was such an inconvenience, we had to unpack a few times. The property was clean , but you have to request fresh towels and for them to take out the garbage or they do not.

I was slightly disappointed that there was no flexibility for early check in. I traveled with an infant and had been awake for 36 hours so I was hoping to be able to at least take a nap before venturing out into the island. My flight landed at 11:30am and I had to sit in the property’s office until almost 4:00pm with my children, including my infant son who had diarrhea due to teething. My teenage daughter was crying because she was so exhausted. Once we got to the room, we all ended up falling asleep and lost the day. I feel like if they were more flexible with check-in, we would’ve napped and had a chance to explore the island. I also asked for a pack and play or a crib for my son and they had both options, but they were both very unsafe. I gave the pack and play a chance the first night and I ended up staying awake the entire time because my son kept getting stuck between the mattress and the mesh. The next day I went to Pricesmart and bought a Graco playpen, which we ended up paying $180 for. After that everything seemed great since the facilities are very clean and have a full kitchen, TV, fridge etc. Sadly the last couple of days of our stay we woke up to a sound of birds right above where my son was sleeping. We then noticed what seemed to be a hole where birds were making a nest. On the second day of having this issue, Ana helped us and sent maintenance to check it out. They were very responsive and caring to my concerns and took action. Sadly the birds remained.

Amazing place with all the essentials for a short and long stay. The stay is very friendly, parking is on the property so you can feel safe that your car rental is in the same location you are. The beat part of this hotel location is the proximity to California light house, Natural Bridge, Alto Vista chapel, Eagle beach, Arashi Beach and Palm Mall. The best part is you can avoid heavy traffic around Royal mall. I was very happy and satisfied with the room and overall location.

This was great value for the money with a full kitchen and bbq by the pool. It’s a short drive to palm beach. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The bed is comfortable and the wifi was excellent. Just what I was looking for.

Overall it was a nice place. Communication with the staff was fast and easy via WhatsApp. The room was very clean and good sized. Can use the tv to login to Netflix if you have an account. AC was very nice and the full kitchen with dishware was great. All the rooms are off the ground, and there are some businesses under it.parking great. There is a laundry service in the same parking lot, for like 15$ I had all my laundry washed/dried and folded and ready to be picked up in like 2hrs which was nice. The only downside is the noise, lots of traffic and vehicle noise from road and parking lot/businesses. But for the price, it's the best! We stayed longer in Aruba because this place. Has a great price per night. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good location, clean rooms and the best deal.

Ana made sure we were comfortable and oriented with the property, and provided a direct-line number to her if we needed anything during our stay. A car rental is suggested, but with only a 7 minute ride to Palm Beach from Turibana Plaza, the car rental plus hotel combined were significantly less than the nightly rates of the Mariott or Ritz-Carlton.

Traveled with friends for a birthday trip and all I can say is I’m glad we pick it. The room we had was just as pictured if not better. Anna was there to greet me and my friends walked us to our room made sure we were happy with everything told how to contact her and left very sweet pleasant lady. She’s located 10-25 mins from EVERYTHING beaches mall and the California lighthouse perfect if u wanna rent a car and explore the island yourself is a shopping center up the street 3 mins if u wanna cook in the room and also a bar a few steps from the hotel. The pool looked nice and it was cleaned everyday even tho we didn’t get in. All and all this place was safe clean and comfortable. Oh and the beds were even comfortable shower had hot water. I could go on and on but if u want a spot not in the tourist area with out the big price but is clean safe and I’ll say 5 stars ⭐️ pick here u might need a rental but it’s well worth it we cane out way cheaper. Thanks again Anna we will be back soon.

Turibana plaza and an excellent spot to stay the interior room was brand new with kitchenette, comfortable beds, full refrigerator, place to cook with all pots pans and dinner ware. A brand new or new air conditioner that throws very cold air perfect for the hot temperatures of Aruba. The pool area is immaculate with bathroom and new barbarcue. Besides being about a mile from palm beach and exterior of building a little older looking this is a great spot and I highly recommend it. I travel everywhere and this was top notch for budget of around a 100 a night.

A good, clean, well-maintained and budget-friendly option for travellers who prefer to cook some or all of their meals and don’t need daily housekeeping. The rooms are compact but have everything we needed — they even provide beach towels, a cooler and two beach chairs. The location was great for us (we wanted to stay in Noord, to be close to the windsurfing centre at Fisherman’s Hut). Parking is free and plentiful. King-sized bed was comfortable. Air conditioning unit is effective. There is a decent-sized pool with lounge chairs out back, but we never used it. Management was very responsive to emailed questions before we arrived. The only drawback is less natural light than a more typical hotel (we had one small window facing an interior hallway with a skylight above it) and no balconies.

The road is busy and there is construction noise very early In the morning.The location is far from everything but if you rent a car it doesn’t matter because parking at the building is easy. Turibana is a great place to stay when visiting Aruba. The rooms are newly renovated, clean, nice decor, and as pictured. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Some small restaurants and stores are within walking distance. You will need a car to get to the beach. Any excursions you sign up for will pick up/drop off right at the hotel.

Turibana is a nice place to stay, just 7 minutes driving to eagle beach and palm beach, the apartments were renewed 1.5 years ago and they have everything you need to cook dinner or breakfast. They borrow you coolers, beach chairs and even snorkels. Ricardo, the maintenance guy, is great and very helpful, I would like to highlight his job and help.

Alex and Ana were great, very helpful in getting is set up with some island tours. The room was Immaculate, and so was the pool area lit back. Hands down the best bang for the buck on the island...you’re close to everything! Palm beach , Arashi are just around the corner. You can walk to a great bar just a few doors down. We had a rental car and basically used this place as our base of operations for 5 days. I can’t wait to come back hopefully in the spring !

Safety issues. No won on site .Only one telephone in room lobby and it did not work. Could not call cab or hotel staff(which were off site). If there was an emergency couldnt call anyone. Could not get cell phone reception.Had to walk two blocks with bags to urgent care center to call cab(nothing else was open.Very poor would never stay again do to safety and owners or staff not being there.
