By european standards the room was really bad, not at all worthy the ratings we read before. Room was really worn and outdated. Bathroom had black mold in ceilings and walls and the smell of damp mold was really evident as soon as AC was turned down or off.

We never tried the breakfast nor the pool. Pool seemed a bit dirty.

Walking distance to a good food store ”Superfood” as well as to the windy Eagle beach.

The staff was extra friendly and helpful!!

I appreciate the experience I paid for. It's not a $300+ per night hotel and that is fine by me. It's quaint and quiet and i felt relaxed here.
Again, their staff is wonderful!!
It's close to grocery stores, beach is about a mile away, and the busy strip was a short drive away.

I liked the staff they were great. One problem. No one in the office. So no happy hour. Another day she got there at 3:30. So no lunch , happy hour was short. No shampoo or conditioner supplied
The pool needs some kind of a railing at the step end of the pool. I saw three different people have great difficulty getting in and out of the pool. I loved the atmosphere at this hotel.

Cute local Inn where we could get a sense of the area. Quiet and comfortable. A variety of travelers staying there and very friendly accommodating staff! Close enough to walk to a nice restaurant. Having a car to get around really necessary at least for us. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We LOVED the Arubiana Inn. It was super inexpensive which was great because we are low budget travelers. It only has 18 rooms and no children under a certain age are allowed, so it is very quiet. Most of the other guests are Dutch and older (we aren’t spring chickens ourselves), so we were initially concerned as we are Americans and heavily tattooed. But they were all very friendly and if they judged us we didn’t feel it. Except the blonde girl in the office. She was very nice to us initially. But then we asked if our tattooist could come to us at the inn and she turned us down (which we totally understood, but it didn’t hurt to ask, or so we thought) she would barely look at us or even speak to us. And she spoke about it to the cleaning lady in front of my husband in Dutch (which we don’t speak) even though they both also speak English and she had a very disapproving tone and body language. RUDE!! But we will likely still stay here in the future. There is a fridge and a microwave, some dishes and silverware. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was comfortable, the courtyard and pool were lovely.

Worth staying at!!

The service here from Frederich, Shondra, John and Ivana was OUTSTANDING! There was nothing they couldn't help with or do- they really made the difference in our stay. The Inn is a little rustic- but the amenities work and the staff takes it over the top!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were surprised at the $100 security deposit required at check-in, but it was returned to us at check-out. Property in serious need of updating, painting, etc. There was no coffee maker in room as advertised, only an electric kettle and an odd assortment of dishes and flatware. Beach chairs were available for rental. Pool was nice and inviting and we enjoyed the lounging areas around the pool. Very nice restaurant across the street and good access to grocery stores. Overall, it was not a bad place to stay for a night or two.

Retirement Trip to Aruba!

A nice small older hotel with approximately 12 or 14 rooms. Slightly off the beaten path, approximately 3/4mile from closest beach and short driving distance to various shops, activities and restraunts.Only compaint they did not have ice machine. Staff very friendly!

Very basic. Overall, i was disappointed we were unit 12. The gaps in the door let mosquitoes/cockroaches in and lizards like to hide on the top door frame(cute but scared me everytime). We stuffed the doorway with toilet paper to keep the bugs out. Bathroom and bed were clean, but room was pretty rough (broken/missing mirrors).

The biggest safety issue with this room is the door lock. The door locks with the key on the inside. (Keep the key in the door) if you lose it/misplace it and have an emergency (like a fire) you would not be able to get out of the room.

Staff were shockingly unhelpful. When we arrived front office was locked and no one was arround. After scouring the place calling out \"hello\" we finally found someone in the kitchen. Checking out was the same, had to search for someone - anyone to help us check out(stressful, because we didnt have a lot of time because we had a flight to catch). Finally found someone on the street who helped us checkout.

Overall, this is basic. We only stayed for 1 night at the end of our trip. If i booked my whole vacation here, i would have been absoutly devestated. There are a lot other nicer places to stay in Aruba for similar fees.

I chose this location for a one night stay because of the reviews and compared it to some other places that I have stayed in the past. I am always very hesitant to give a negative review, but this in my opinion was no where near the quality of a hotel indicated by the reviews I read before making my decision to stay. The room was very outdated and normal items in a hotel room such as a coffee maker and hairdryer are not in the room. Also, there wasn’t an ironing board or iron in the room. I believe one was available upon request, however the staff leaves and are not there from late afternoon until approximately 9 o’clock in the morning. The toilet stopped up and there wasn’t anyone there to see about getting it unclogged. The staff was very nice and helpful and everything went well with checking in the hotel. However, we had to wait on them to get there to check out because I didn’t want to leave my keys without confirming the paperwork.

I really enjoy the ambiance of the hotel because it’s small scale and no frills, but it’s very charming and cozy. I think it’s frequented by European travelers especially from the Netherlands. Which is very nice and interesting, but I would like to see more of a mix of people there. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Arubiana Inn twice and would recommend it to anyone looking to be cost effective while visiting Aruba

We liked the quaintness of the property, and the courtyard was very pleasant. Didn't have a coffee pot, just a water pot ~ which was disappointing, but everything else was just fine. Bed was comfortable. Hot water in the shower, and AC worked very well. Convenient location, Don't need much more. : )

The food had good flavor but was a little skimpy on meat in the club sandwich. All in all I would recommend the inn.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's a little place off the beaten path, yet convenient to area beaches and stores.
The staff were all very nice, accommodating, and helpful. I can't remember all the names but Brendan and Mats and all the others were awesome. Some of the furnishings in the rooms are a bit dated, but they're in the process of slowly remodeling. We had free Wi-Fi, on site parking, TV, and basic amenities for a comfortable stay. My bed in room number 8 was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! The place is small but quaint and relaxing away from the busy resorts. I will be back!! Thank you all for making my stay there a very pleasant time. See ya soon!!

I guess I would begin with the facility is very outdated. They still use a key to enter the rooms. They seem very short staffed. The person working in the office must cook, serve, clean, etc. very slow service. No one is ever In the office The write up says 4 restaurants snd 2 bars. I don’t know where those are. If you bring a dish to your room, it will be there until you remove it. Doing up your room means making the bed. Vic you need towels, you need to gather up your used ones, return them and get the clean ones. There’s literally no breakfast menu, you get what they are serving. The WiFi in my room was horrible. I had to walk over to the door to get it to connect, by the time I’d get back to my bed it was disconnected. I complained about the remote control on my tv, it took like 5 minutes to get the channel to change. I couldn’t do anything w/o getting up out of bed and going up to the screen. The rooms are dark, the lighting is very low wattage, gloomy. My rom has. I window except dreary room darkening curtains behind the bed. The floors are all tile. Be careful after a shower, very slippery. The shower is very slippery. With some work this place could have potential. Maybe being short staffed is due to Covid, tourism has greatly affected the businesses on the island. The Ritz Carlton this place ain’t. After visiting some of the other hotels in town, I was thankful that the Arubiana was not crowded like the others.

Staff was very helpful - they went out of their way to arrange a late check-out for me.
Each room has a siting area facing the pool ,with a table and 2 chairs - very convenient for having a drink in the evening.
But location is not great - difficult to walk anywhere, you pretty much have to drive everywhere.

Nice little hotel. Perfect base for island exploring. You definitely need a car, but that holds true for the whole island, unless u like to sit in your hotel for entire trip. Air conditioning, kitchen ware, shower, everything was perfect, no complains.what i would like to point out is how welcoming was the stuff. Very friendly and accommodating. I had an unexpected early check out, when office was closed. Left the key in the mailbox. Had no problem, just an apology that they missed it. Very nice, can't recommend it enough. And the price is so low comparing to everything in Aruba

Good option for saving money

If you are looking for a low-cost, no-frills option, then this is a good place for you. Just know that there will be some trade offs in terms of comfort. Pros: short drive to high rise and downtown areas, close to Super Foods, good selection of English TV channels, microwave and refrigerator in room. Cons: mattress had very little padding, room was dim, water in shower doesn't get hot, easy to hear noise from courtyard and neighbors.

Good value for the money, especially for those who like to explore the island and beaches instead of hanging around an expensive resort. Great staff and service. Nice pool and location close to the action and a super market. Ideal if you plan to rent a car - it's a good hike to the bus stop. Nice efficiency unit for making your own breakfast and lunch, but they also do a good breakfast for an extra charge. It's every thing you really need at a reasonable price.

We needed to add an extra night to our stay and found this nice place. The staff was friendly and helpful and everything was clean. We had no problems during our one night. You should know that the staff is not always on premises and that the swimming pool is unusually deep. I would stay there again!
