Hotel very well presented, still looks new, room was very spacious and quiet, with kitchen sink, microwave and coffee machine. Good choice of food and drink at breakfast and staff work hard to keep it replenished and tables cleared. Pool is a good size with pool bar and the private beach is very peaceful, with roped-off swimming area and staff to help with sunbeds. We used the hotel restaurant for dinner a couple of times, service was good and food was good quality. Easy to walk to the large number of restaurants in the Palm Beach area and the hotel is on a useful bus route to Oranjestad. Only minor negatives are staff need to clear towels off clearly unused sunbeds more and would be nice to have staff taking drinks orders at sunbeds, which only happened once for us over the 8 days.

Check in was slow. Showed up an hour early and understood room not ready. Then room still wasn’t ready for over an hour past the 4pm check in time.
The rest of the experience was excellent. Hotel clean, quiet on the 8th floor. The resort was clean. The breakfast was absolutely a great variety of choices and was very well put together.

The layout of the hotel is such, that we had a long walk to get to the elevators. The room had 2 TVs but only one remote. The AC unit was noisy. The breakfast was excellent. The hot tub was really nice, and the staff was very friendly.
Overall, the room was very nice, I would book there again.

Oceanfront room smelled of humidity and urine and they didn't have another one for us (they wanted to give us a partial view room at the same rate), so we asked to be reimbursed for the remainder of our stay and we booked another hotel.

The room was clean, 3 queen bed (1sofa bed). the sofa bed was not that comfortable. TVs did not work but we didn’t use them anyway. The wifi worked well at the resort. Staff was great brought us extra blankets and towels as we needed. The pool was big enough to wear it never felt crowded. The Beach area was nice and private but rocky in the water. Breakfast was great!

It’s a nice four star hotel. Rooms are very spacious. We had a sweet everything was clean. Stuff it’s very nice. The only thing that is hotel located not right on the beach. You have to go through tunnel. There is a road with cars that you have to close to get to the beach. We did not expect that otherwise overall stay was pleasant. The beach is very small though this property.

We loved our stay and it was perfect for our family of 4. The separate living room and bedroom areas were great and the balcony was a highlight with it looking straight out over both the pool and to the sea beyond. Easy walk to beaches and great location on the island overall. Pool and other amenities (and happy hour) were also wonderful.

Upon arrival check-in was easy. The WiFi access provided was decent. This is a VERY kid friendly resort. If you are not traveling with kids, you may want to consider staying elsewhere. It was just fine for me and my boys.

I wish I was told about the different amenities when I checked in as opposed to discovering things as I went. Here are some things to note:
- There is a gift shop (pricey) that has basic necessities as well (aspirin, snacks, aloe products etc.) You wouldn’t see if unless you were told or are staying on that side of the resort.
- You can reserve the cabanas a day in advance. Otherwise get out there early to get a spot.
- The beach is across the street. A quick walk down the block will take you to the beach where those staying at the embassy have access to chairs and shade. The beach here is rocky. Bring water shoes.

Food on the resort:
Breakfast: free and delicious (get packed fast. Come down early)
Lunch: fine and pricey
Dinner: expensive and wasn’t good at all (in my opinion)

The room:
A decent size and clean. The beds were much more firm than I like It.

The staff:
Friendly enough and available to answer all questions.

We loved the extensive offerings at breakfast. Food was delicious, hearty, and we only had to have one meal before dinner. The reception with the free drinks was a nice treat at the end of the day. Rooms were clean, and daily housekeeping service was appreciated. The pool was lovely and generally not too crowded. We really enjoyed our stay!

I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Aruba and had a great experience overall. The property feels very new and well-maintained — everything was spotless, from the lobby to the rooms. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for relaxing during the day.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a large variety of options, and the staff provided friendly and attentive service throughout our stay. The all-inclusive setup was smooth and well-organized, making the entire experience feel effortless.

Beach access is also super convenient — there’s a short tunnel that takes you directly to the resort’s dedicated beach area, which felt private and easy to reach.

One small suggestion for improvement: the elevators don’t have floor numbers displayed clearly, which can make it a bit confusing to know which floor you’re on. Aside from that, everything else was top-notch. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. First, I must highlight the incredible staff—Octania, Shawn, and Darlene truly made a difference with their friendliness and attentiveness. They are essential to this establishment and deserve recognition for their hard work.

However, I found some aspects of the amenities lacking considering the price. The hotel doesn’t seem very family-friendly, as the kids' club operates only during limited hours, leaving little for children to do outside of that. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were quite standard; after a couple of days, they became repetitive. It would have been nice if the breakfast staff were more proactive in offering beverages like water and coffee, and the tables could have been cleaned more efficiently for incoming guests.

I also noted that happy hour is only available every other day, and while complimentary drinks are offered at dinner, the long wait in line can be frustrating.

Another consideration is the beach location. It's directly across the street, accessible through a tunnel, which may not be ideal for everyone. The designated beach area is rocky and can be quite windy, leading to some discomfort with sand blowing around.

This was our 3rd time at the hotel in 2 years. Housekeeping seems to be slipping. Above 90% of the windows need to be washed. Especially upsetting was the glass half wall around the patio. In the first 2 years it was spotless. Now it is streaked in places with bird droppings. The base of the wall has an accumulation of bird droppings. The 1st 2 years, that area was power washed if not daily, then very often. Now it doesn't get regular attention and the restaurant uses the area for dinner. I also once could not reach the front desk for a room problem, and the mailbox was full. We also saw a decline in some of the maid service. It seems they have reduced in house staff for contractors. There was no soap in body wash dispenser in shower and we were told the individual did not know how to change the dispenser. We really enjoyed this properly our 1st two visits; but worry as new as it is, it may be in an incremental downward spiral

The birds are a problem when it comes to eating outside. The pool is beautifully maintained which is why it surprises me that they do not pay as much attention to deck and lounge chairs. We had to wipe bird dropping off of every lounge chairs we sat in.

Breakfast was excellent. Happy hour is 5-630pm which is a plus. Pool & Spa is kept up nice as well. Beach is just across the street with huts & chairs available (first come first serve). Reco go out early morning to reserve one with the attendants out there. Our room was clean. Only issue was the shower drain was slow so it flooded the bathroom after every shower. We used so many towels to keep the water in. Overall, great stay.

Landscaping is mediocre and looks rather tired (could use some weeding & mulch). This is a no frills hotel (no marble or glitz). Seems like a great place if you have young children. Area felt very safe and walking to beach is very easy. There is no literature in the room to offer layout of hotel, menus for the on site eateries, or details about reserving palapas or that they have chairs available to take to other beach’s you’d like to visit. This info is not on their website either. They held a bingo game outside one afternoon and on another in pool exercise but again nowhere any details about where or when. Just happened upon it. The free breakfast is plentiful of selections and quality of food is good, I found that the chafing dishes did not keep the food warm or hot. The scrambled eggs 6 days in a row were lukewarm at best as well as the pancakes and French toast.
The outdoor poolside restaurant and the indoor restaurant had the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. And this assessment was shared by other guests I spoke to. Way beyond slow “Island Time.” They seem to not have enough staff and get in each others way. Tell you I’ll be back in a minute and 15 minutes later still haven’t returned as an example. Deliver food and walk away and you have no eating utensils. After 3 meals there gave them up and went elsewhere.

Our stay was wonderful at the Embassy Suites. The area it’s in was perfect for us, close enough to nightlife but far enough for peaceful evenings. The beach was a very short walk across the street and the walkway tunnel there had interesting and fun art murals. The breakfasts were great. We will definitely be back !

We visited Aruba and stayed at this property (Embassy Suites) in Feb 2026.
The reason for less than 5 star review:
1. The service was slow; we got a sense that they were understaffed during the busiest time of year (Carnival weekend). I should note that the staff were courteous. The slow service was palpable when we were sitting by poolside and had to get drinks at the bar everytime.
2. The hot tub was not functioning properly on the last 2 days of our stay-i.e. it was not really hot. This hurt us more as the hot tub was really a highlight for our kids.

Despite these issues that compromised our overall vacation experience, i would consider staying here again because the property is nice, staff attentive, and the place is family-friendly overall. It is also closer to top 2 beaches of Aruba (Eagle and Palm).

This was a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. The breakfast was great, and the chef even made me gluten-free French toast! I took off some for cleanliness as the stairwell I used was not kept up as they expect most people to take the elevator. Also birds flock on the patio looking for food. The staff does the best they can to pick up after them, but with so many birds, it is difficult! Even in spite of all of that, I gave this hotel five stars, as it is in a good location, the rooms are very quiet, the pool is well kept and clean, there’s a nice hot tub and the beach is nice. There is a path going either direction if you’d like to walk run or bike!

The short walk to their beach was underground and you can bypass the road. Beach attendees were kind and helpful in moving lounge chairs. Beautiful place, beautiful views!
