This property is very unique compared to others on the same boardwalk. Originally we were suppose to stay at the Holiday inn but changed our minds as the rooms at Playa Linda are bigger. I traveled with a 8 month old, 6 year old, senior and my husband. Traveling with our 8 month old was not a good idea as he did not sleep at all- no fault of hotel.
The rooms were spacious and had a lot of furniture. I felt the furniture was very bulky and could use an upgrade. The washrooms all need to be renovated as they are pretty old.
Our first room was pool and ocean view- room 432 and it had unbelievable views! Our second room main level room 59 was amazing as well right on the beach. Room 59 is a bit loud as it is right beside the bar/ restaurant.
The pool was amazing, very clean and kids loved it. There was a lot of kids and families and everyone was friendly. Azzure the restaurant on the pool has great lunch options at a good price.
The beach was unbelievably gorgeous and so well takin care of. It was one of the best beaches on the island. Lots of chairs available even tho you need to be up at 6am everyday to reserve them. For us it was easy as our baby wakes up early.
Beach service was excellent with amazing drinks.
Location can not be beat!! You at in the middle of everything! Absolutely do not need a car. We took the bus downtown to Check it out for the day and it was well worth it - so beautiful and lots of shopping.

We had a nice suite, however, because we were not owners we were relegated to the lower floor. Even though we selected a sea view, it turned out to be a partial view. I really like the location of the place, it was clean, beautiful at night and the kitchen tools were well stocked but the bed was hard and the towels smelled like burnt hair. Would I go back, yes, but will be very specific about what I want.

The beach is on property, and it is by far the best on the island for spending time with family and relax. Service at the beach could improve, since you have to go and get anything you want at any of the hotel food and beverages locations. Ideal location with amazing views of the ocean. White sand beach and crystal clear water. Tikka huts with tables and umbrellas, also beach chairs for all guest, just book your Tikka hut umbrella early if you want a front view. Great staff , the property have serveral restaurants all with great food and water sports is available. Everything you need is within walking distance.

The resort was beautiful, very clean, good food around the beach area of the resort, shops and restaurants were near the resort. The staff was amazing, Diego greeted us when we first arrived to the resort and helped load our suitcases to our room and when it was time to check out he helped us get a taxi and load our suitcases onto the taxi. Overall 5/5, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Aruba.

Perfect location right on the beach with free towels and loungers. Some hotels in the area charge extra even if you're staying there. The rooms are great size, comfy bed and have a beautiful balcony. Diego from Concierge and Curt on the beach were amazing and made our stay extra special. Can't wait to return!

The property has a very good location and all you need is there (no less no more). there are two budget with healthy food choices cafes (one on a beach and another one at the entrance). It also has a restaurant. Hot pool and adult area is a plus. every morning is the aqua aerobics. Beach is good and water is so calm. The only thing that we did not value is the kitchen amenities in a room. the have a coffee maker, dishes, a teapot , but no tea bags, no coffee filters and coffee, no cooking oil. Typically, it is all provided, but not in this hotel. you have to go and to buy in the nearest store.

Convenient location in palm beach, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, oceanfront 2 pools one of them for adults also a new hot tub for adults only water sports nearby restaurants I liked dushi bagels breakfast in hotel site and azurro for happy hour drinks also eduardos shack on the beach excellent service and delicious fruits , was on 6 th floor nice view to ocean but the only downside was the cleaning staff employees talking aloud in the morning and laughing not respect at all everything else was great , beware I arrived Saturday they changed me rooms since it’s a timeshare property I was told could be ready till 4 pm on Sunday but after coming from breakfast and some shopping around 1230 noon my new room was ready later some bellman transferred my belongings from old room to new room I think it was junior he’s very polite and friendly I have been this property twice and haven’t had no issues they quite friendly, on the other side the lady on the towels for the beach a little rude but not s big deal overall good experience

This was my first trip to Aruba and the Playa Linda couldn’t have been more accommodating. The location of the resort was perfect and all of the restaurants on the property were delicious. All of the staff were always so kind to us and made us feel at home. I can’t stress enough how clean this resort is and how safe we felt during these Covid-19 times. We will definitely be returning in the future and recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

Didn’t like pest control coming in during vacation, bingo or aquatic exercises being blasted throughout the resort part of every afternoon, the WiFi connection is very slow, and surely not a fan of smoking on the premises. The smoking was outside, not inside but still the overall stench leaves a very uninviting, 1980s feel in a 2021 world.
Food options are very reasonable, the staff at restaurants and on the Playa Linda do a good job. Security was fine and I never felt in any danger.
All in all an average experience. Don’t expect a hotel because this isn’t that. For
Example, every hotel I’ve ever stayed at had late night and weekend concierge hours. At Playa Linda their policy is the concierge has limited hours (typical 8:30-4:30 shift) but no one takes over after and somehow doesn’t work on weekends. Also wish they had recreation like table tennis and Foosball like Divi has. There isnt anything to do in the evening except eat at Azzuro. Would have been nice if there was pool side entertainment in the evening.

Great location on a great island
We love the Playa Linda. It's located in the heart of downtown Palm Beach area, so it has the best of all worlds. Great beach, great pools, great restaurants, water activities, piers, shopping and casinos are all either on location or within a very very short walk. The resort is a tad bit older so the rooms might be a little smaller than some of the more modern resorts, but it's very well maintained and it's still an awesome place to stay. Everyone there loves this place, and I'm sure you will too.

Gorgeous property/resort with very friendly staff. We did a split stay where we stayed in one room for three nights and stayed in another room for 7 nights. The staff was very helpful in having our luggage and belongings transferred to our room for the second half and any time we needed help with something, someone always helped with what we needed. Kirk, one of the beach attendants, is always helpful to everyone and so friendly too, making everyone feel at home and happy to be here. Dylan, one of the staff members, was really helpful every time we had a question or needed a recommendation for what to do or where to go. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to do what he could for us. It was very much appreciated and so nice having someone being more than happy to want to help us. We look forward to coming again!

My husband, son (15) and I just got back from 5 days at Playa Linda and had a great time. The location is amazing! There are so many restaurant and shopping options within walking distance. The beach and pool areas are beautiful. Since we aren't timeshare holders and didn't arrive on a Sunday, we had to switch rooms after the first night but we just had to pack our stuff up and they did all the moving so it wasn't too bad. Our room was amazing... 2nd floor pool view and super convenient. We got a one bedroom suite with full kitchen for cheaper than any regular hotel rooms nearby! A great value! My only complaint is the chair hogs. People would put their stuff out to save cabanas and leave them empty for HOURS. So rude. I'm sure this happens everywhere, but I wish the resort would have a policy to remove towels left abandoned for more than an hour.

The property was beautiful outside, but the room was very small, outdated and needed many repairs. After contacting the front desk 2 times the air conditioner in our room never got below 74 degrees. In Aruba…that’s not ok. The sink was clogged the whole rime, and the bathroom fan sounded like a train 24/7

The property, beaches and most of the staff (except front desk) were wonderful. The only downside was the power outage on the island. It was really disturbing to find out that the resorts emergency generators did not work. No emergency lights, water or even staff to guide guests on what was going on. Other resorts would have had staff providing guests with guidance and maybe some water. They really need address this and given its a predominant timeshare, the members should push for better!

Me fascino el hecho de que mi habitación tuviera una pequeña cocina incluyendo todos los utensilios, ya que después de comer 2 días en los restaurantes mas cercanos, decidimos preparar nuestra comida que era mucho mas rica y económica.

Worst of all is the necessity to get up with alarm clock very early to get the cheeky. Bu this is your vacation.. It is not enough shades on the beach.
If your room is next to staircase (i.e. #335), there is no way to have rest for more then 5-6 hours at night, when people stop slamming doors of staircases - usually from midnight to 5 in the morning.., It could be soft closure on the staircases used and better isolation of the rooms!

Despite its years, it has been very well maintained. Beautiful grounds, excellent and truly helpful, caring staff. Our 1 bedroom suite was perfect with a full kitchen, with an amazing pool and beach view awaiting us every morning on our balcony. Laundry room on each floor. Super fast elevators. Great restaurants on the grounds.
