Best service ever! This was our second visit to Aruba and chose the Ritz Carlton this visit and it did not disappoint. We have never stayed at a resort where all service employees went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Beautiful property and best restaurants to dine. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and received an upgraded room and other amenities upon arrival. We will definitely come again.

The beach staff were amazing. Very helpful and quick to assist setting up our lounge chairs that we reserved through their app. Staff always coming round to check if we needed drinks or food.
The housekeeping level of service was a bit disappointing. Had to call down a couple times just to get our room cleaned (late afternoon). Standard things not replaced (towels, bottles of water, coffee). Once we commented to lobby staff, efforts were made for improvement which was appreciated (but honestly we shouldn’t have needed to have commented at all considering the level of service to be expected from The Ritz).

We only had breskfast twice as we went off-site to Eduardo's for acai bowls. But the breakfasts we did have were very good - eggs, avocado toast and fresh fruit. We generally eat light in the mornings so this breakfast is excellent on your travel day home to fill up. The wait staff are very efficient and friendly.

No spa treatments so i cannot comment.

Very well-maintained property. Clean, welcoming, with highly professional staff. We have received a room upgrade due to our Expedia Platinum status. We ate only at the Italian restaurant - food was decent, but nothing wow about it. Here, I also had the worst and the priciest Manhattan of my life ($35 with tip included). The beach is great - white sand, shallow Caribbean blue water, but crowded - lounge chairs too close - and some of the umbrellas are missing the QR Codes and buttons to order food and drinks - the staff on the beach is compensating, though replacing the missing buttons should be an easy fix.

My room smelled sooo bad. It smelled like a dog was in the room prior to me occupying it. I called the front desk multiple times in which they tried to resolve the issue by spraying the floors with a freshener. That solution worked for all is 15 minutes. I was just shocked that the Ritz Carlton’s rooms smelled bad especially since the hotel was known for having a really nice fragrance.

I’m a loyal Ritz Carlton client and I am only leaving this review for Aruba Ritz to get better. 1st day I came staff by the pool was very good but as the days went by seemed to be lacking in performance. The spa was ok I wasn’t crazy about it definitely for the heavy price tag ( keep in mind I’ve been to 5 other ritz Carlton’s )
The main thing that got me upset is at casa nanna the restaurant down stairs made under cooked food not once but twice. On top both of sons age 2 and 2 got sick from the spaghetti and meatballs and was throwing up all night. I’ve mentioned this to the staff. And it seemed like they didn’t know what to tell me or how to fix the problem they changed me room ( that was the same room set up different number) and basically was all they can do. Then 2 nights later I ordered room service a got a brownie with ice cream and I got sick myself and was throwing up all morning right before I had to get on a 5 hour flight back home. I usually leave a short and great review for people to read and always recommend the Ritz Carlton to everyone but this was not held to the brand Reputation and I hate that I have to leave a review like this.

Let me be very clear—I was upgraded to a beautiful oceanfront suite. As a self-professed hotel snob, I expect perfection, or at least competence dressed as luxury.

Unfortunately, the illusion cracked quickly.

The beach furniture looked like it needed a touch of Jesus, a Shake Shack renovation budget, and an exorcism. Weathered, neglected, and tired—much like the overall attention to detail.

The service was excellent… right up until I was literally bitten by bugs. That experience alone would have warranted empathy and professionalism. Instead, I was met with Susana, the manager, whose behavior was shockingly gross, dismissive, and downright mean. She embodies exactly who should not be in the customer service industry. If hospitality is about care, she missed the memo entirely.

Dinner at BLT was excellent, great exec room facing the ocean. Very pretty. Beach front was well maintained and controlled for being service orientated for drinks and food. Room was big and comfortable as was the king bed. Things were clean and we saw and experienced good roaming security so we felt safe. The ritz might be a bit more in price but well worth the experience staying in Noord versus in the town of Oranjestad. The big cruise boats unload thousands of people and the streets parking and hotels are packed. Better to stay north and have a private beach.

We had some great pool and beach servers, Jean Carlo, Smily and Brandon were fantastic and we visited them almost every day for our week on property. Despite being in an executive suite, the room unfortunately had some shortcomings with hair on the carpets and we found a pretty large bug. With a 7 month old on our trip we spent time on the floor playing. The hallways also needed a pretty good vacuum. Overall we had a good trip and the location, staff and amenities were good for our trip with a child.

We had a lovely stay and I found nearly all of the staff to be very welcoming and engaging. The one exception was the hostess at the steakhouse on Friday evening. Maybe she was having a bad evening. We took a quick look at the menu and went elsewhere.

In contrast, the staff near the pool and the adjacent dining area were fabulous.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very Disappointing Stay at The Ritz-Carlton Aruba

My husband and I stayed here for a week and were really disappointed, especially for a Ritz-Carlton property. We booked through Expedia with our Amex Platinum Card, expecting breakfast to be included—it wasn’t, and no one offered a clear reason why.

We were also charged unexplained extra fees, and to make matters worse, staff entered our room without permission on multiple occasions—once to bring a baby crib we hadn’t requested, and another time to deliver a fridge while we were on the balcony. This felt like a serious privacy issue.

The food and drinks were extremely overpriced, and overall the experience did not justify the cost. The property is pretty, but we expected much better service, transparency, and respect for guests’ privacy. We would not stay here again.

Every single staff member we encountered were very professional and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

Josh and Kendrick helped make our check in and check out process smooth. They gave us wonderful advice for our future travels.

We had the best time at the beach. I didn’t mind going early to get seats. Dylwin, Chris and Antoine did an amazing job. They ensured that we were well taken care of.

Louisa and Jesus were absolutely wonderful at BLT. They gave us great food and wine recommendations.

The Ritz is beautiful! The beach is 10 out of 10! The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. We also enjoyed the Spa and were happy with the services. Our room was ocean view and we enjoyed the unobstructed view of the pool and beach. Prepare for pricey cocktails and food. We enjoyed our stay.

I had the most amazing stay at the Ritz Carlton Aruba and choosing the Club Lounge access made it even more special. The Club Lounge is basically an all-inclusive experience with a beautiful continental breakfast, delicious lunch, dinner, desserts and plenty of snacks throughout the day. The food was consistently outstanding and the bar served only premium top shelf liquor.
The service here is on another level. Everyone takes the time to remember your name and makes you feel like family. Eric Abdul, Rose, Rico and Alexsander went above and beyond and truly made the trip unforgettable. Day 1 I asked for lemonade and although they did not have any, they immediately squeezed some fresh for me which was such a thoughtful touch. The gesture really showed how far the team is willing to go for guests.
Housekeeping also deserves special recognition. They helped my best friend decorate the room for my birthday which made the celebration so memorable. The last day we still had wet swimsuits and they washed and dried them for us so we could pack.
From start to finish, the entire staff made me feel cared for in every way. If you are planning a stay in Aruba, I cannot recommend the Club Lounge access highly enough. It is worth every bit and made this vacation truly unforgettable.

The staff on the property is top notch. By the pool, we were served by Greg and Lyndon who were respectful, attentive and an absolute pleasure. They made sure our chairs were prepped, providing towels and always checked to see if we were okay or if we needed something else. Brandon was just as attentive when Greg and Lyndon were off for the day. We loved being offered an ice-cold popsicle in the very hot afternoons and a cool towel. Additionally, Mario and Andre in Casa Nonna went out of their way to provide extraordinary service at the restaurant. The lobster ravioli was delicious as was the focaccia bread. Every staff member greets you and treats you as if you were their long-lost cousin. The beach staff is also very attentive. This is the place to be if you want to be treated like royalty.

We were talked into upgrading at check in to the club level room (7th floor) with ocean front view. It was nice to have the access to food/drinks all day, however I don’t think it was worth the extra $550 per night. Room was very nice, clean, great view. Mitchell who assisted us at the beach was wonderful-he made a birthday celebration extra special. The construction going on on the sushi restaurant was disappointing because it blocked the views you normally see when walking into the hotel. We were looking forward to having sushi the first night, but they were only serving a couple small rolls in the club lounge. We are looking forward to returning when the sushi lounge is open. Dinner at BLT was also great-recommend the seafood platter-it was fresh and delicious. Aside from feeling like I was oversold on the club access, we had a great experience, received excellent service and hope to be back one day soon.

Perfect Mother/Daughter August 2025 vacation. Fabulous staff. There is nothing they will not do for you to make your Ritz experience unforgettable. Rooms are spacious & kept spotless. On site dining was very good & convenient. Pool/beach areas are spotless & provide comfortable lounge chairs, unlimited towels, sunscreen & ice water stations (bring your water bottle for easy refills.) Segway servers are at your service throughout the day bringing drinks & food right to your seat. It is amazing to watch how effortlessly they navigate through the chairs. Pool & Fitness center are open 24/7.
Floats, kayaks, paddle boards are free of charge.
Musicians during outdoor day & evenings are so impressive. There was a different instrument each day including a sax, guitar, violin with familiar & tasteful tunes.
The spa was lovely. We did a couples massage for 90 minutes & it was the best. No reservation are required to use the relaxation room, steam room & whirlpool. This is a nice perk if you need a break from the fun & sun. My daughter & I are committed to our Ritz Aruba vaca each year. We are so lucky & appreciative to have enjoyed the best experience ever!!
