This property is in the heart of it all! And the Staff is Amazing! This place is literally walking distance to EVERYTHING! The pool is clean and a decent size. You can order drinks and food at the pool or BYOB… NO GLASS! We had an amazing time and highly recommend this hotel

It was our first time to Aruba and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed our stay at TRYP! The staff were kind, attentive and helpful. Ramphes Kelley was always there with a smile, a suggestion or great advice about the island. Really all of the staff members made the hotel feel like home away from home. Ashanty, Jonathan, Pricillia, Lee, Lina, Xerxes, Sebastian, and many other who's names I just cannot recall. The rooms were well taken care of, the beds were very comfortable, and the hotel felt safe. A very short walk to the beach (or you could take the shuttle) and right next door to great restaurants, the location was perfect! Will definitely return one day! Thank you all for a wonderful visit!

The staff is the best part of this hotel. They are friendly and genuinely want guests to have a good experience. Getting to the beach requires a walk across the street and then at least 75 yards on a walkway with cars parked on either side( though there is a golf cart that can take guests to the beach). The hotel has a very small area of the beach reserved, so it feels very cramped. The gym is dark and has very little equipment. The pool was small but nice and the hotel was very clean. All in, this is a pretty solid three star hotel.

The staff was amazing!!! in every way. Took great care of us. The only thing that they could not overcome was the NOISY, (until the wee hours of the morning 03:00) lousy bar just behind the hotel. The South Beach Aruba bar is a black eye (as attested to by very low attendance) in the neighborhood.

The room was very sad and minimal. Clean but dark and depressing. There was a very loud dehumidifier that ran a lot in the room. Most disturbing was the lack of security. Nothing from stopping anyone from walking straight up the stairs or taking the elevator anywhere.

Noise from nightclub was awful until 3am in the morning. I changed my room after the second night because of the noise. I recommend emphasizing that your room is not near the nightclub.

Our room was in the back of the building, I would recommend that you never get a room in the back with anything. I recognize the hotel has no control over the bars in the area. We checked in on Saturday night and the South Beach bar had music on full blast until 4:00 in the morning making it very difficult to sleep. Everyone who works at the hotel is just friendly and amazing. Priscilla was teaching us how to speak Papiamento, Lee who is in charge of loungers on the beach was just fantastic and Ish always is amazing. You really don't need a car staying here, you can walk to a lot of shops and restaurants which makes good place to stay. They have a buggy that will take you to the beach, though though it's only a 5-minute walk.

TRYP Wyndham near Palm Beach is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are recently renovated, clean, (actually spotless) modern with comfortable beds. We chose TRYP in a rush when we had to extend our stay in Aruba due to the winter storm and flight cancellations in the US. TRYP was a reasonably priced location about 2 blocks from the beach. They have a shuttle drive…tho it’s an easy 5 minute walk….as well as a staff member on the beach to show you where the TRYP chairs and palapas are located. Great breakfast at reasonable prices in their breezy outdoor cafe. A large clean pool with a swim up bar. And the staff…..what a kind and helpful group of people!!!! I highly recommend this small hotel!!!

The staff is more than courteous, always willing to help with any request for help from the young man vacuuming the hallway who cheerfully ran the vacuum in my bathroom as i brought a little sand in and the roomhad just been cleaned to the young girl at the beach and Elliott who got us chairs.Also Salt a d Pepper was excellent way to start the day.and Priscilla made us laugh. The room was clean and comfortable bed. Pool was great with drinks too

We wanted a normal coffee maker instead of the new one serve maker and that night when we returned to our room, it was there. Great food at their little diner. I wish we had eaten there more often. Take lots of cash.

We booked Tryp without recommendation and couldn't have been more pleased!

The location to the beach is walking distance, the entire property is clean and well maintained and the location to shopping and restaurants cannot be beat!

We cannot over emphasize how wonderful the staff is! They were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent recommendations.

A special shoutout to Jonathan at the front desk! He is a CIA graduate and really knows his food. His recommendations for dining were spot on and perfect!

Location is excellent for food , clubs ,and even a short golf cart ride to the beach. Staff was super friendly. Room was clean.
At night you hear club music and on one end of the hotel it is pretty loud. Rooms were updated but nothing special. Beds were a place to sleep, not the worst beds but not comfortable either.

Rooms lacked microwaves, so we could not bring back our leftover food from restaurants we visited, and the bathrooms lacked ventilation.

The staff was Amazing, they were very attentive, helpful and supportive and always had a smile on their face, no matter the time of day/night, they were always willing to help however they could.

Despite my two \"complaints\" above, this hotel is very conveniently located, it was worth every dime, and I would definitely stay there again.

This is my third stay here and excellent as always. Very convenient location. Room was very clean and the dehumidifier works amazing their was no moisture issues in the room. Only semi issue with the room and its not the hotels problem at all was the side of the hallway we were on the bass from the music at the bars is a little annoying when trying to sleep. Yeshua at the pool bar is very nice young man. The steel drums at the pool bar was awesome and should happen more often. The beach is amazing and its great that lounger chairs are always available. Lee and the guy not sure of his name at the beach helping with the chairs are very nice people. Will definitely be back again.

Loved our stay!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had great amenities. Pool bar drinks were incredible and staff is so easy to contact and quick to respond with any questions or concerns. Located in a perfect area it was walkable to anything you might need. The Hotel is in an excellent location in the main touristy area in Noord Aruba easy to walk to everything minutes from the beach restaurants and bars ect.
The staff are amazing friendly knowledgeable inviting and the rooms are clean and good size...the hotel is a refreshed/renovated older hotel but for the price and for the staff I would come visit again and stay there again.Its adults only too and the breakfast runs from 8am until 12pm so that's a plus if you had a late night ( hung over lol ) and need to sleep in a bit before you get breakfast.
It was mine and my wife's first time in Aruba and we felt very safe there and fell in love with all of it...we will definitely be coming back !

Cons: wasn't a fan of the flooring they had in the room. The frames of the windows in the room looked old and like they were never updated/ renovated. Peeling paint or maybe it was silicone that they put around the frames. Looked sloppy.

This was our first trip to Aruba and we enjoyed all of it!! Starting with an immaculately clean hotel room for my wife and I which is conveniently situated among fantastic restaurants, eateries, shops and of course the beach!! We rented a compact car that allowed us to go everywhere. We traveled more in 4 days than folks I know have traveled in 10 years within the island. The island is super safe and humble and everyone lends a helping hand. I mastered the roundabouts in less than 10 minutes. A special shout out to GM Sebastian Sloot for running a tight and friendly team within Tryp at Wyndham. He is friendly, approachable and helpful.. Jonathan and Jendrych also were super helpful and courteous. My only complaint is that the detailed signage around Aruba lags a bit. If you drive and get lost just know which way is north, south or west and find your way back to Oranjestad to get your bearings!! We had a great time at the beach and the pool. The young lady at the beach and bartender at the pool were very attentive and helpful. Both my wife and I are experienced travelers and can pickup genuine enthusiasm vs a show. This is genuinely genuine!! My salute to a great operation at the Tryp by Wyndham!!

The property is central to most of all palms beach delicious restaurants, nightlife and beautiful beaches. The property itself could use some attention. I liked our room, hated that the bathroom didn’t have a full shower door; half of a door to be exact. You wet the entire bathroom whenever you used it. The bathroom door doesn’t close fully, so privacy was a bit of an issue. The shower floor itself, we used shower shoes. The room lacked basic necessities like enough water, an iron and an ironing board. All fixable, but should definitely be taken into consideration.

Omggg!! Hands down the best accommodating staff I ever experienced!! Ishmir was the best !!! He was so down to earth and made sure my bestfriend and I were comfortable, from transporting us around, to helping my bestfriend feel better with honey and lime remedy, to showing us around the island! I was a solo traveler who stayed for 5 days. Felt totally safe the entire time. The location was great. There were restaurants and shops everywhere. The best part of my trip was the staff. My luggage was delayed and the staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Jose Luis at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. Priscilla was very friendly and made me smile throughout the trip. The pool was excellent and not crowded. DJ Kelly played great music and was nice. Shamir from the front desk was also helpful. We were greeted by a great staff the day of our arrival. What I liked the most that everyone, the staff especially Priscilla, Carlin, Xerxes and everyone else were so humble and kind. It may us feel as part of the family. The staff would go over and beyond to assist us in making our stay at the hotel very comfortable.
The outside pool area was great and loved the swim up bar. We had Jose Luis aka El Puma as our pool bartender for one afternoon, he was great to speak with. The coffee shop ladies were so kind and we enjoy our conversation with them as we brought coffee and tea in the morning. This has been one of the best vacation taken and we are glad that we stay at TRYP at Wyndham. Thank you to the general manager, Mr. Sloot for the champagne and rose petals on the bed in our room on the first day of our arrival. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary of 43yrs. We will definately be back next year!

It was a great stay! We booked last minute and they were super accommodating. We especially enjoyed the bartender Kelly and his recommendations and chose to pregame with him before heading out to the clubs. The guy working at the beach front was also really great with recommendations and service. My only complaint is that the bathroom was not as clean as I would want. There was mildew in the shower grout and by the toilet. Not very inviting. Our AC also went out in the middle of th night and we had to change rooms at 5am (just for the night) but they fixed it first thing in the am and we were able to go back. The swim up pool stays empty which was so nice to relax by and I liked that u could order from the beachfront (except it’s a limited menu with no mixed drinks. Only beer available)

The location is perfect, right in the middle of lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond genuinely explaining how to get around, how to save on excursions etc. I also really liked the beach staff, and that Wyndham had its own section on the beach with chairs. We filled our day with excursions and beach time, so we weren’t in the room too much. Great value, and Really great experience!
