The place was exactly as advertised. Had a small fee rental program for ice chests and chairs. They were very critical if you want chill time at the beach but don't have the budget for beach loungers. Given how smooth everything was, we would probably rebook if our goal is to rent a car and drive around the island like we did this trip.

first i loved picture of property ,I was hooked, but you have very hard time to found out where is located no any sign on the route take me 45 min, property is recently in progress reconstruction due adding rent car, is no any sign parking for disable i have very hard time go from parking lot to the hotel current guest need help me located office, first night nice sleep wakeup me screaming contractors on they speakers phone 6,30 am, evening another guest just arrived was very loud till 1 30 am, when i am complain to office desk was just welcoming with smile\"They on vacation\" really just give me slap to my face and i am where. we received papers when we check in saying after 11 pm quiet time was never honored, they cited family friendly definitely not, our room was infested with very stingy insect, cleaning was done in caribian style so happy i bring my own items to desinfect every day items, no hugs on the bathroom moscito screen have big hools i need to cover , is on budget only one think i liked was outdoor gril we used last night of our stay, white towels you received they far away from white.. next timeI amdefinitelly used another property. 800 for person was not cheap stay service included houskeeping was only one times per week , with caribian temperature is terible,Barbados have dai;ly cleaning for half price to stay, not mentioned ac was so loud and updated fridge new and big i salute ou for investing on this, but feel veru unwelcome here. not recommended

Bed was extremely hard. Pillows were very small and cheap.
We had to remind house keeping to clean room although not dirty but clean towels were needed. No complimentary toothpaste. And although advertise as a hotel its actual apartments. At check in they charge you a fourty dollar cleaning fee (cash only)

The place is perfect. Just to have a very relaxing vacation. Rooms are clean and confortable. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Worked for my solo trip and 3rd time on the island. The room has all you need to cook your own food which is what i did. Its in a central location on the island so you will need a car rental here but there are places near by for food and groceries. Also its the first place ive stayed at that has hot shower water also. I did not use the pool myself but it was clean and other people were enjoying it. There is a balcony in the room also that provides a view nothing special but im glad it had one, i used it.

They do have beach chairs and coolers for a daily rental rate and provide beach towels at the front desk. Also they charge a cleaning fee when they service your room.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future especially after the new addition is done. I would like to rent a top floor room.

loved the fact that they offer rental vehicles onsite. there is like a $500 deposit and 50.00 for room. but it def beats uber or bus for the convenience. we are like 15-20 min from eagle beach, palm beach is like 5 min or so further, its actually the same coastline, different sections. there is jetskiing avail at eagle beach beach chairs for 10.00 ea, a bar/restaurant o. the beach, we were also close to the waterpark, but into the mountainside in the desert, and our atv vehicle meeting spot was also closeby. no bathtub in the room, but the shower was awesome! nice views from the patio. full fridge, gas stove, microwave, couch, basic cable, two a/c's with remote, pool in the courtyard...should be on the side for privacy, but oh well. covered gazebo for nightime eating/drinking n socializing. and gas grill onsite. hotel shuttle avail! there is a supermarket within walkin distance because the hotel is in the neighborhood Tanki Leendert, numerical address...121-k. type in tanki leendert 121-k. i used waze and got around fine.

The room was dirty and musty. The appliances were old and the room was extremely dated. The furniture should be replaced. The sofa bed mattress was disgusting. When we asked for more toilet paper they would only give us one roll because the cleaning people were to come in and clean and give us some - they never did. It is very far away from the beach. You will need a vehicle to get to the beach. The place is under renovation to add a new area. They should look after the old side first. We left to go to a different place before our time was up. Will never return.

Clean, quiet and friendly staff. If looking for something close to the beach and popular areas, this is not the place to stay. Only other thing I would say is the bed was not comfortable. For just a quiet relaxing place and don’t mind driving or getting taxi this is a good place to stay.

For a last minute trip, it served its purpose. Staff was cool, room keeping needs work, overnight security was cool. The extra fees and deposit should be included in the price. Construction going on as of 2/12/26. Definitely quiet and close to town. As a last minute budget trip, I would do it again.

This is a fantastic apartment complex for rental! It is a perfect location if you don’t like crowds and the craziness of a now built up, Aruba! It is clean and safe and roomy! You get so much space for your money. We rented a two bedroom in January and having the kitchen was phenomenal! We ate breakfast and lunch in every day and went out for a beautiful dinner in Aruba! There’s so much room with two bedrooms… Each of us had our own bathroom and a common living area with a big screen TV. This is fantastic. If you’re looking for space and no chaos! The pool was absolutely glorious and we also used the onsite grill to grill shrimp. The owners helped us turn the grill on… They are anlways available to help with anything that you need! There’s also an on-site washer and dryer. They worked fantastic!We were able to rent beach chairs from the hotel and also a car from the hotel. They gave us a great deal on the car and we were able to take our chairs to the different beaches every day. If you want to see Aruba like a local this is the closest you’re gonna get. The staff is fantastic and we’ll get you anything you need! I’ve stayed in many different properties on the island and this was by far my favorite! Just make sure that you get a rental car and you will be fine! You will have a phenomenal vacation without the crowds!!!

This property is still under construction in every sense. Guests are charged for nearly everything—$1 for coffee and $3 for an old, rusted beach chair. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the mattress had visible stains. I also found ants crawling all over my bag, and when I reported it, the front desk asked if I had taken my bag to the beach—despite ants being visible on their walls as well. There appears to be little effort put into guest comfort, yet the pricing suggests otherwise.

I spent four days here and was pleasantly surprised with the amenities. The owner and his son, Avinash, were extremely helpful and courteous and always willing to offer any assistance that I needed. The swimming pool was very clean and I really had a great time swimming in it.
Although the location was in a residential area it was easy to get a taxi to any of the nearby beaches.

It is nice it was a 2 bedroom apartment but the site/rooms are old and they are showing it. Some of the painting needs attention, some of the patch work needs attention.. I'd fill some of the holes left after adding the air conditioning units. There is not food/restaurant on site or within walking distance. There is huge constrution going on on the site...

Great hidden hotel for reasonable price in Aruba

We had an excellent stay at Punto di Oro! The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When we first arrived we were given a run down of the island, with tips on where to eat and what to visit. They were even kind enough to loan my husband a snorkel set. We particularly loved the pool, which was conveniently right outside of our hotel. The property is quiet and tucked away. We also felt very safe, as there is someone that appears to be on guard every night sitting outside of the property throughout the night. We plan to return when we come back to Aruba.

I took away one star for condition, as the shower was a bit leaky. But I spoke with management and was told it would be fixed right away.

The rooms were clean and when we did have an issue with the stovetop, it was taken care of promptly. The office staff was professional and is very responsive if we needed anything.The property is off the main road and somewhat difficult to find so I would advise renting a car to get around the island. There is some construction work going on onsite, however, overall we had a quiet and peaceful stay. Restaurants, beautiful beaches and shopping were within close driving distance from this location.

The property was perfect for people who want to experience Aruba but don't want to stay in the touristy parts of the island. The front desk rents you a car and you can go to a ton of local restaurants surrounding the area and try a variety of cuisines, drive to museums and farms, and sleep without people partying outside.

The front desk staff was amazing — accommodating, helpful, and super flexible. The rooms were clean and organized, and the pool was perfect after a long day in the sun.

I had a wonderful experience with Punto di Oro! The location is a bit set back from the main activity in Oranjestad, but for the value it is definitely worth it. I recommend renting a car. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The complex itself is beautiful with a lovely pool. Staff was super friendly, accommodating, and even hooked me up with their convenient car rental service on site. I would absolutely stay with them again on a return trip to Aruba and recommend their services.

The area around property look run down. The property itself is under renovation but our (4) days there we did not see any worker (as if they ran out of money). we arrived the key was left inside the apartment ,First thing the glass doors going out the back had no lock, no hot water i ask they told me the boilers don't work . in 3 occasions had to kill 3 large ROACHES , on the second night of stay my daughter found a baby Lizard in her bed. we told them the last day she had no words out her mouth,
will never stay there again .

Punto di Oro Hotel/Residences is great for a family on a budget. The area is safe, the staff is great. A big thank you to Kris from the front desk and to the owner Prakresh. This location is centrally located. The furtherest I had to drive was 30 minutes. To the main strip in Palm Beach it's just a 15 minute drive. Super convenient! Would definitely go back.

The facilities and room were about what you would expect not staying on the resort and being an older property. Everything was clean and kept up. The main area pretty much looks like the pics that are put up. Very simple and quaint. We did find a broken toilet seat upon arrival which was fixed immediately. Staff was responsive and helpful. Only real downfall (maybe for some) was there was never any hot water...unless you wanted to wait until 2pm every day for showers. Other than that we enjoyed the stay. We are active people and did exploring but if we were to go back and just do more relaxation, we would probably look to do a resort that has many more amenities for that purpose.

Horrible experience with receptionist at the lobby while checking in and checking out. His is John and he was impolite, not professional and so rude to me and my husband. He neither follow Aruba Covid protocols because he wasn’t wearing mask when we were wearing. He didn’t gays the printing from the Covid negative results to take to the airport because he was with other guess who came after us so he didn’t respect us at all. I am wondering if he did this because my husband and I we are Americans because he sent us outside to wait while 2 other guests who were not Americans were inside the office when we were before the. We feel discriminated by him because we are Americans, he was totally impolite with us.

We enjoyed a nice wknd get-a-way quite neighborhood far from the busy high rise hotels. Check in was easy and quick. Pool and surrounding areas are great as shown on pictures. The room be got, #17 is not save. The sliding door to the back patio could not be fully closed and had a \"MacGyver\" style lock that had us worried. We informed front desk about this the first night, but nothing happened during our stay. Smart tv in the living room. Free black coffee in the common area. To our surprise their is a $10 surcharge fee to use the BBQ grill during a 2 hour period. Coin operated washer and dryer and ice machine. We would definitely returned but NOT to room 17.

Property is nice with the big gazebo and free black coffee. Only thing is to put 1 more bbq pit. But they help us with a bigger one. Planning to go back.

Great value, nice genuine people at front desk. Attentive, quick response to small problem in the room. Kitchen and sofa bed, adds a lot.
