Beware when you book Divi hotels Aruba.We chose all inclusive & paid good $ and they put us up at the Divi Dutch village and told us that the all inclusive was not included.They wanted us to pay $200-$250 per adult each day for the all inclusive package!We were upset but ate dinners and some breakfast outside the resort and on site because Aruba has great food and great restaurants so we made the best of our 5 day trip.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. Check-in was quick and smooth, which made the stay start off perfectly.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, and all amenities were provided, including fresh towels, toiletries, and fast Wi-Fi. The housekeeping service was consistent and did an excellent job each day.
The hotel facilities were impressive. The pool area was relaxing and clean, and the on-site restaurant offered delicious meals with a variety of options. Breakfast was especially enjoyable with plenty of fresh choices.
The location was convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and great value. I would definitely return in the future.

Overall the staff was very friendly. I was traveling with a group of 7 and we requested our rooms to be near each other well ahead of arrival. We were placed in 3 separate buildings (1, 4, 13) almost as far away as possible. The explanation of what was included in our all-inclusive package was rushed and confusing when we checked in. I finally found a chart of restaurants/bars included in each package online after an extensive search. Please make this easier for future guests. Food was fine….nothing special even at Windows. Service at all the bars & restaurants was great! Friendly, accurate, and they took great care of the small kids in our party. Nonexistent nightlife…every option shut down by 9:30 or 10pm. I wasn’t looking for a party ant but having a glass of wine or a cocktail after 10pm while on vacation shouldn’t be an issue. Overall it was a good experience but I will stay elsewhere if I return to Aruba.

Room was clean. Grounds were nice. My only complaint is that we paid for the signature all inclusive package and the only restaurant and bar on site is the tiki bar which closed pretty early. All the other restaurants and bars included were at the Divi golf . We traveled with kids so it was hard to go anywhere at night that wasn’t right outside our room .

We enjoyed our stay at Divi Dutch Village in Aruba.

Pros: Great staff. Easy walkable area, close to beach/pools/restaurant on our site. Good variety of food and drink options nearby. Grocery store within walking distance. The Oranjestad ship port was viewable from the beach; we walked to downtown to the port area. This resort is south of the hotel high-rise area and was quieter and less busy.

Cons: Very small room; king studio had no patio/deck or indoor seating area. Signature all inclusive package did not include many restaurants on the beach side of the resort. Most options were at the Divi Golf which was a short walk or shuttle ride away on the other side of the road. The Tiki Bar/Restaurant at Divi Dutch closes at 8pm; no food/drink available on the beach side after that time unless you go to Tamarijn or Divi All Inclusive. Divi Dutch resort seems to close down when it gets dark, very few guests on their patio or deck after sunset.

The room wasn't overly clean but it wasn't the worse. The towels were stained with red marks as was the blanket. The only other complaint is the shampoo and conditioner bottles the first night were half full only obviously reused from another room and this continued on through our whole stay, always left half used bottles of shampoo and conditioner. It was still a great trip and I'd say the resort was a 7 out of 10.

Limited food options, there are other better options for all inclusive called Mega Package which will give you wider choices and better food selection and access to premium properties. Also be aware of what you are getting and make sure they are included with Hotel.com and Divi Property.

Room that we stayed in needs needs major repairs. The closet doors are old and appeared damaged by water from the AC above. They store utensils under the kitchen sink which makes no sense. They are stingy with the shampoo and conditioner by giving out 1 of each very tiny tube. Very sad the tiny shampoo is shared between my long hair and my husband hair. The customer next to our room smoke marijuana and the smell went to our room through the Receptionists are helpful overall. The shuttles to the destinations in other divi resorts are one of the best amenities.

The room was good for a family of our size. The staff very welcoming, hard working and willingly to go above and beyond to meet your needs. What I did not like was the tiers of the all inclusive in which we learned about when we got there. I also did not like the fact that you only had access to certain amenities/restaurants. All the restaurants were on the other side of the resort of our room. Good thing there were trolleys to take me and my three toddlers around. The resort was decent, like I said I just did not like the tiers of the all inclusive. if a resort is all inlcusive everything should be included for one price!

The gym was absolutely amazing! The cleaning staff did a phenomenal job in the room and there were always fresh, clean towels. Additionally, there were always towels available for the pool/beach. The restaurants were clean and all had air-conditioning. My biggest complaint is that checkout time is at 10 AM and you can only get a late checkout for 11 AM.

Our first night we were woken up twice with a man in the next room screaming and the door handle that connected our room to his being shaken. We called security and the next day went to the Divi Golf resort and talked to the guest manager and she was able to give us an upgraded room at that resort area of Divi. I would never stay at Divi Dutch.

Some of the staff members were nice not all. This is a beautiful resort and we came here to celebrate a big birthday with 10 guests and we were somewhat satisfied . My wife and I was hoping to bring our children but we must do our homework first before choosing Aruba or Divi . The staff needs to be more customer service oriented and make guests feel like home , valued and welcome .

I recently stayed at your property and wanted to take a moment to commend one of your evening front desk agent (unfortunately, I cannot recall her name). She is, without a sought, one of the best hospitality professionals I have ever encountered.
Upon arrival, I was a bit it-unaware that the Divi Dutch operated as a timeshare resort. I now realize I was a bit hard on her. Despite that, she remained warm, understanding, and patient. Every evening I came down to the lobby, she greeted me and my husband with the biggest, most genuine smile. It truly lifted our spirits.
She was not delightfull and caring but also incredibly diligent with our requests. Her attitude and professionalism turned our experience around completely, and because of her, I will absolutely be booking with Divi Dutch again in the future.

The resort is well maintained and the room is clean and comfortable. Location is great. Near lots of restaurants, shops and beaches. Only complaint is the pools close at 8p every night and the 10a check out time (which so happened was not communicated to me). Every interaction with service was pleasant and helpful.

There were several issues with my stay that went completely unresolved, and it seemed the staff did not even try or care. 1) I made reservations a month out on Expedia, I specifically booked a studio suite with a beach view, but got a pool view. I called the front desk and was told; \"Beach view? Here? Not here, no.\" I know that's not true, I saw the beach-view suites. 2) The patio doors were stuck shut, the latch did not work, I reported this 3 times. I was there for 3 days and had no access to the patio. 3) The ceiling fan did not work. I reported this on day 2 after trying to use it the night before. 4) The room had not been cleaned, I could swipe a trail in the dirt with my finger. 4) Water leaked from the shower, I had to put multiple towels on the floor to keep it from getting wet & slippery. (I did slip once but did not fall or get hurt, luckily) 5) Went to the front desk at 8pm on Sat to request a taxi, the front desk was closed! Same thing on Sun night. I would've gladly called my own taxis but was told on 2 occasions that I had to request taxis from the front desk, they would not give me a number for a taxi company. At check-out I raised all these issues, I was told \"the manager is in a meeting\", was given a card and told to call back, I called and wrote an email, I never got any response. This was a bad experience. I would not reccomend Divi Dutch.

We will def come back to this hotel. We had such a good and relaxing time. All the beaches in Aruba are public which means the locals could come to the beach at this hotel as well. Not the best beach on the island by any means but still, very beautiful and quiet. The hotel is prob 5-10 minutes from downtown area with multiple places to shot and eat.

For the rate we paid it was far below par. The room was small and dingy with the same old (almost crusty) decor from years ago. The shutters don’t close completely so always light in the room and the airco, fridge were extremely loud/noisy.

Was disappointed in my room being very dark and asked for a room change and they showed me same room. My other family members booked same room and they had suites that were poolside and kitchenettes.Also the “all-inclusive” only included 1 place on property that was only open for food til 3:30, so in order to have dinner we have to go to the other property. Which is fine for some nights but it had to be our whole stay. I don’t think they should include this hotel in their all inclusive hotels. When we booked this property there were more options available in the all
Inclusive so they had changed it since then. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. I’d maybe visit the other divi properties for I feel they had more to offer for dining.

“All inclusive” package was not all inclusive. “Signature package” only included one bar on premises that closed 6pm, one pool grill closed 4pm. Two other bars were included but at Divi golf, as well as two restaurants and buffet, also at another resort. Upgrade was $150 per day per person. Resort blamed this mis communication of “all inclusive” on Expedia and other 3rd parties. This change was made a few months ago. We were here last April and came back for the old all inclusive package, not knowing that it had changed. If we knew this, we would not have booked; the price does jot seem worth it. The front desk girl was either new or not very helpful or informative. The brunch at “Windows” restaurant is included but also $35 extra per person. There is a dress code we were not informed about. The staff at “Windows” will treat you well if they think you have money. Waiter Miguel was more pleasant and more attentive when he realized we were tipping well, which was probably a little late. The golf cart drivers were very friendly and helpful as well as the bartenders and servers at the pool bar and grill. I will look for a better place to stay when I return to Aruba

The property did not have my reservation. My daughter’s room had someone else in it. It took them 45 min to check us in. Upon checkout I requested bell service to take our bags. After waiting 15 min I carried everything myself

We were harassed by the person in the connecting room all week. She constantly yelling at us through the door. I didn’t realize she was actually talking to us til the second to last day and she was leaving the next day. We had a cake for my son’s third birthday party and she called security on us at 9pm on a Thursday night. Had I known earlier in the week she was yelling at us through the door every day I would have said something. I honestly thought she was telling her family to shut up but after the Thursday incident I realized she was talking to us the whole time. My kids were terrified by her aggressiveness. Manager at the resort told us tough luck because she was leaving that day.

Our room was a one bedroom suite on the ground floor with the window opening to the pool. With kids Dutch Village was ideal. Being right next to the pool made it super convenient. We would consider the divi golf beach resort which is closer to the all inclusive restaurant but we liked our pool better and it was also quieter more suitable for the family. Also we could easily call a ride to the restaurants at the front desk which was a favorite for the kids if we are not feeling like the 10 minute paved walk on the beach.

The room was very clean. Unfortunately the Island is not built to hold up rain water and if it rains intensely (which is very rare but did happen on our arrival) it causes sewage related issues, it didnt drain well in our bathroom and there was standing dirty water puddles at places.

The divi beach is close by and very friendly water for swimming. The water is super clear.

The food was great in the all inclusive and made our stay great. Overall we had a wonderful experience with Dutch resort.

Accomodations were excellent and housekeeping staff were really good! Palapa's and chairs were always available and beach was not overcrowded.

Was a good stay, but the cart service was very few and far between. Some bartenders at the Tamarijn main bar seemed to ignore my party of 4-women, not sure why, we were quiet, kept to ourselves. Probably will try a different resort next time. Was meh- paid a lot for this trip. Was great to rent from the onsite Hertz- great service!!
