I highly recommend staying here! I stayed in Unit #12, and my experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish.
Angelique's service was top-notch. She was always available whenever I had a question, whether I called or sent a message, and she responded quickly every single time. That level of communication made my stay stress-free and enjoyable.
The location is perfect, just minutes from the airport and only about 20 minutes from downtown, making it easy to explore the island while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing place to stay.
I also enjoyed meeting the other guests. Everyone had great energy, and the property offered plenty of privacy, making it feel comfortable and welcoming.

Ideal location away from all the business of the resort areas. We had a rental car and could go anywhere on the island within 30 minutes and then return the calm of our suite. Very relaxing place to make base camp for exploring the island.

Peaceful place away from all the busy tourist areas. Beach across road is super tiny but a great place to watch the ocean and enjoy the breeze. If you like quiet and calm properties then this is the place for you!

Definitely a place to get away from it all, no crowds almost seems like your the only one there. I would definitely recommend getting a car, taxis are not easy to get and it’s a bit pricey especially if you want to explore. It approximately 25-30$ to go to town by cab. The host responded very quickly and addressed all my questions and gave excellent recommendations.

Had a little trouble with communication upon arrival, but were able to get in early and was a smooth visit after that. There are dogs on the property, they were friendly but did definitely want some attention. If you're looking for a cozy yet comfortable room for a short stay, I would definitely recommend. Also, it's very close to the airport.

If You’re looking for Your own space, peace, and quiet. This is the place for you. Super clean , super convenient. Only 7 minutes from the airport and in the middle of everything. If you have a rental car, this is perfect for you. Check in and check out process was effortless. Definitely 10/10 would recommend.

This place is amazing! I booked two rooms and both were clean and was stocked with items so you can cook if needed. The pool was way deeper than i thought which was amazing. We fell in love with all the dogs especially Diva! Very quiet even though its located near the airport. May favorite part of this place is that it is outside the hustle and bustle of the strips. Very quiet very calm and very nice.

Very nice place, the dogs make it better. Super clean, we also had a pool which was amazing. Rent a car if you want to stay here since it’s far from activities by walk, but it’s perfectly placed with half way between the Noord and Sam Nicolas.

I was a solo traveler and this was the best stay I could have asked for! The staff was super friendly, access to pools was so easy and the local restaurant made dining very easy on the nights that I didn’t want to travel too far. Absolutely going to come back and stay again! And the dogs on site were an amazing bonus!!

Nice little gem close to the airport. I had an overnight stay in Aruba travelling solo and this was a perfect spot! Communication was easy and they answered all of my questions quickly and accurately. The location was easy to find, safe and quiet. Room was compact but extremely well organized and stocked with everything that I needed. My private plunge pool was a perfect redct size and the blue lighting at night was gorgeous! would highly recommend!

It was an amazing first time in Aruba, Vistalmar is self in check in but the send you the info of how to do everything. Everyone friendly in the entire island, it was like a condo with the entire kitchen if you want to cook, clean, organize, my doggies friends never left me alone , “PROPERTY DOGS” super nice and well educated pets. You must rent a car much easier if you trying to go to different places. Eagle beach great and the best to my opinion Reflexión beach ❤️❤️❤️

This place was awesome so quiet and secluded conveniently located 10 min from everything loved the private dock and the amazing restaurant across the street which gave us a discount for staying at vistalmar all thanks to rikki and diva the dogs of vistalmar that were our escorts to dinner every night!! The only complaint I would say was the smaller rooms in the back had a REALLY small bathroom. Other than that it was awesome! Would definitely stay again

The stay was amazing overall. The property has a beautiful sunset view which made every evening special, and the pool was honestly one of the most relaxing I experienced in Aruba.
The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There are also a few food spots and a supermarket nearby, which was convenient. The staff were great, and a special thank you to the cleaner, she was amazing and gave us very helpful recommendations during our stay.

The dogs are a jewel, they arw very welcoming and gentle they greet you with lots of love. Make sure you have treats because they deserve it. My room was very cozy ,neat and clean . Our visit to Vistalmar Ocean Suites exceeded our high expectations. The property is in a great location to easily access the entirety of Aruba by car. Our condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We loved the views from our balcony and from the private dock near the bay--both spots are great for relaxing with a book or beverage, and taking in the sunset. We will 100% stay at Vistalmar when we return to Aruba. As a side note, some reviewers complain about the pet dogs on the property. If you don't like dogs, I don't recommend visiting Aruba--there are friendly stray dogs on all of the beaches and in many of the neighborhoods. The three dogs owned by the proprietors are sweet and well-behaved. If you don't want them around you, gently shoo them away and they will gladly leave you alone. Or you can be like us and welcome their pleasant company while relaxing on your deck or by the pool.

Vistalmar was an excellent place to stay. Angelique was a great host and made us feel very welcome. We had some travel issues and she was quick to respond and help us extend our stay. The room(s) were clean, inviting, and spacious. The pools were a perfect way to wind down after a day of adventures. The doggos on site were so sweet. The pier across the street was very cute, quiet, and relaxing. We will definitely be back, and stay longer next time!

The property is nice but pretty far from the strip and the main beaches, so a car is necessary. Outdoor is well curated, there are property dogs around the place that didn’t disturb us as animal lovers, but we realize it could be an issue for other kinds of customers. Host is helpful, the girl that does the cleaning is friendly. The biggest issue was probably the washroom set up, the mirror blocks access to cold water, towels holder were falling off the wall. It’s honestly all small adjustments. Room cleaning included on the price for some reason, it’s an extra fee.

The room was perfect for one. Clean and issues I had were promptly addressed. (They were minor) I love dogs , so the dogs on property were nice. All very friendly. Very quiet area with food in walking distance. You WILL need a car though if you plan on exploring other areas of the island.

The small kitchenette was well equipped for eating in the room to warm up leftovers, making a warm breakfast with your coffee. It would be difficult to cook a full dinner meal due to the size. Prepping a picnic or eating a small lunch would be fine too. We reserved the mini-suite and the room was perfectly fine, clean, bed was very firm but slept well. We realized it was a bit small for us after we were there a night. It felt like staying in a cruise cabin without all the fun amenities of a cruise. The rain shower was great! There are no frills here, it is great for those on a budget. The dogs on the property are very sweet. We enjoyed them. I liked having the private pool. We didn't use the area near the water or the large pools since we drove to beach areas. It is a secluded area away from the tourists & crowds, but has 2 restaurants nearby. We liked not having housekeeping service as we are very tidy & don't need it. We also liked that it felt like staying in your own apartment/condo instead of a hotel. Hearing the planes take off & land was not bothersome as they don't fly overnight. We had no issues with staying here, but will be looking for something with more of a "WOW" factor on our next trip to Aruba.

Stayed in the mini studio. Excellent accommodations. The property was clean, quiet and very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The common pool area with lounge area was great space. Enjoyed the hammock and lounge area. The private mini pool that was apart of the studio I booked was also great. Definitely would recommend staying at this property. You should either rent a car or just call a taxi if you would like to go somewhere. The dogs on the property were beautiful and extremely friendly. Checking in was extremely easy and I have zero complaints. Owners were very responsive and friendly.

When we arrived, the room had not been cleaned. We had to go explore and came back at 9 PM and they still hadn’t cleaned it. Getting in touch with the owner was very time delayed so when we needed something we had to wait hours if not till the next day for it

It’s very private, all the pools are so neat, the private beach dock is BEAUTIFUL, and the most surprising but fun perk was the dogs!!! There’s a lot of friendly, calm dogs throughout the property that add to the experience. One even escorted us to and from the nearby bar one night hahaha

Angelique was fantastic communicating what we needed to do to self check in. She made sure we had everything we needed to get in to our unit. The highlight of our stay, however were the dogs that were so friendly and gentle. We did not expect those dogs to be so loving and affectionate. Having the experience was quite unique. The dogs even came to visit while I was reading one morning outside by the pool and while we were in the pool one afternoon. Perhaps they smelled the pizza we were having. HAHA… The area where we stayed was very quiet and safe. Although the airport was truly behind us, it didn’t bother us at all considering there weren’t many flights going in and out of Aruba and the flights didn’t come in too early or too late. We were very relaxed during our stay and there would be no doubt we could easily stay again the next time.

False advertising. This property states that they are located on a white sand beach. There is no beach nearby. You will need a car if you stay here and want to go anywhere. Also the restaurant is not onsite.

Perfect accommodations for a get away! Room was spacious, plunge pool was perfect, bonus are the friendly dogs that visit. Definitely recommend a stay here. A hidden gem for sure!

This was a beautiful unit. I was only there for a night (flight cancellation) but it had everything you would need for a vacation stay, including a small private pool. Being a Monday I wasn't able to enjoy the nearby restaurants but it's nice that they're within walking distance. If there was any disappoint it was the very slow internet. Would not be a good place if you intended to make it a work vacation.

NO ONE EVER CAME TO GIVE US NEW TOWELS. I MANAGED TO FIND SOMEONE ONE DAY T0 ASK FOR SOME ALSO THE SINK MADE A LOUD GIRGLING SOUND ALL NIGHT LONG. THERE IS NO PRIVACY WHEN USING THE BATHROOM IN THE EXTREMELY TINY ROOM. IT ONLY HAS A SLIDING DOOR WITH A HUGE GAP THAT HAPPENS TO BE ABOUT 10 INCHES OR CLOSER TO THE BED. AND IF YOU ARE TALLER THE 4'1O" YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE BATHROOM SINK. OR SLIDE PAST IT WITH THE DOOR CLOSED IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 100 LBS. ALSO THERE IS NO LAUNDRY SERVICES OR ROOM SERVICE. IT WAS CLEAN THOUGH. THAT WAS MY FEELINGS ON THAT. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

This property is really off the beaten path on an industrial type of back road. You definitely need a rental car. Lots of stray dogs barking all night and several large dogs on the property. The suite was clean although the bathroom had no ventilation so it was humid and damp. It doesn’t have a “private” beach. It has a fenced in and locked deck across the road, but the water isn’t really suitable for swimming. It’s shallow and weedy with lots of silt covering the weeds because of the boat traffic from the marina down the road. It also backs onto the airport so the planes are constantly flying over, although strangely it wasn’t too noisy. It’s a place you would just use as a base to explore the island, but definitely wouldn’t stay there during the day as there is nothing to do.

I read the reviews of other people staying here and booked it for a week. The moment I checked in, i didn’t want to be there. The place smelled of sewer as soon as you entered and inside it was dirty and just absolutely atrocious.the bathroom was dirty and the sliding door didn’t stay closed. Dogs running around everywhere and barking at all hours, bugs and flies everywhere in our room. I would definitely not stay here again. if I ever come back to Aruba, I will definitely spend a little more and book at a bigger resort to get more cleanliness and better amenities and be much closer to the beach. Although the owners/management were quick to respond if we had questions. I would highly recommend finding a place to stay in Palm Beach. Best area for beaches, restaurants, shopping and just strolling the streets. There is also no private beach.

We stayed in a mini suite in the back part of the property. The design of the suite was very thoughtful. Each small item in the suite was something a guest would likely need but nothing more. It was set up just right for a compact space. There is a fridge/freezer, cooktop, microwave/oven, dishwasher so that you can cook in the suite. There are also exactly what dishes, pots, pans, utensils you will need and nothing more. Each of the small suites at the back have their own small private pool plus there are two more pools: a large one in the back with a cabana and a medium one in the front. You can use these at any time of the day and there is a freshwater shower to rinse off from the chlorine or from being at a beach.
There are 3-4 dogs for adoption that live on the property. They seem a little scary when you first arrive but become friends quickly.
We did not have a car but used taxis part of the time (TAS Taxi Address Service) does not rip you off but uses published rates. The rest of the time we used e-bikes from Tri-bike Aruba. It takes 15-20 min on e-bike to get to Mangel Halto which is a really nice beach. We snorkelled there and enjoyed looking at all the fish.
It was a 15 e-bike ride to get to C-mart which is a great supermarket/everything store that has everything.
A 1-2 minute walk down the road takes you to The Fish House which is nice restaurant that we went to several times.

The place was super clean and trendy. The only issue I didn’t like was the pool jets and lights are not monitored by the individual studios. You have to submit a request and then wait for them to respond by the time the jet for the pool return back on it was two hours before checkout. Also, the bathroom sink was slightly stopped up so the water was draining very slow overall a nice place if I ever visit Aruba again and plan on staying there.

I love that every smaller villa has its own pool, the beach is across the road, but its on a dead end street, so its not a lot of traffic at all, and its in the bay area of the beach. Its so peaceful! There are dogs, but they dont bother you at all.

Our studio was really compact and cute. Had everything we needed. Only issue was the toilet paper holder and handheld shower sprayer were both barely hanging by a thread on the wall. Once we asked for more towels and toilet paper but did not receive that day and had to ask again next morning. We had our own very tiny pool and there were 2 other community pools which was cool but the tiny one by our room would have been better as a hot tub since so small and there were 2 bigger pools to use. Would def come again tho. Only 5 min from airport. A good restaurant was walking distance on the water. The “beach” across the street was always under water and tiny but covered deck on water with hammocks was really nice. Having a kayak to use was a nice bonus.

We made a literal last second reservation and found ourselves in a perfect situation for a flight the next am. Super, super place to stay, and given the size of the island doesn't really matter that there is a bit of a 5 minute loop around the airport to get there. Great local food walkable, cool Yacht Club and if you like airplanes... lots to see and hear above. The airport closes around sunset so we were comotose without interruption very early. Thank you!

The private room pool was great. The room was clean, spacious, but a little dim in the main room when the sun went down. Our dishwasher was broken and wasn’t fixed during our stay, so we couldn’t use that. And housekeeping had a surcharge for the week, which I wasn’t aware of on the Travelocity app.
The place wasn’t on the beach, ( and we knew that). We had rented a car for the week to drive to whatever beach we wanted. The room had a beach umbrella, which helped with the sun. However, there were no beach chairs provided which made our stay on the beach limited due to the high winds and blowing sand, making it intolerable to lie on the beach using our beach towels that were provided.

First of all you need to know that the property is not on a sandy beach that Aruba is famous for, the waterways in front of the property is cordoned by the Renaissance Island. once you cross the divinding street, there is a patch of sand that leads to a padlocked gate to stairs down to the water - chairs on rocks. It is a boatyard. Beyond that the property is clean with a wonderful garden and a small wading pool. Dogs roam the property (not stray), they are friendly but do sleep on deck chairs leaving them hairy and bark at night or early morning. I recommend renting a car if you stay here, the property is behind the airport, so you have to go by the airport roundabout to visit the main city or good restaurants. The fish house restaurant near the property is within walking distance (3 min) and serves good fish and it is frequented by locals. The inbuilt safe in the property did not work, check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, but pillows were flat. The rolling bathroom door kept coming off its rails, Bathroom soap and shampoo were from local Aloe plant and good quality. It is in a safe mainly residential area with businesses on the waterfront. Maybe a bus service twice a day. CMart grocery store is approximatley 7 min. drive and the place has fully equipped utensils and Kitchen appliances, Property faces SouthWest, sunset on right side. You will be able to see airplane hangers on the NE side but not much airplane noise (few flights).

The location is a convenient drive to great restaurants and shopping in town and the airport. The was an amazing restaurant just down the road (less than a minute walk) as well. The personal pier was so relaxing with perfect sunset views. And we lovvvvvved the dogs. It was very hard leaving! We would 100% book here again!

Booked 5 days and 4 nights, suite was extremely clean and comfortable. This property was well maintained. We had a small issue with the bathroom pocket door sticking, this was corrected immediately. We requested an extra day and was able to stay in the same room without any issues. I will definitely book this property again! A true hidden gem!
