Best price to eat relax in castle spa or wedding

Beautiful classy perfect location near drottningholm palace area and uber to central stockholm. Great dinner restaurant & elegant decor. Spa facial a must. Dream wedding venue. Need to advertise for weddings in usa media. Lovely setting

The grill menu offered during summer months was just great! I accidentally spilled out a drink during dinner. This was immediately taken care of and all and more affected items on the table were replaced with new ones within minutes - very professional personnel!

An absolute GEM!!! So i’m not believably glad that we stayed here instead of a busy city hotel. So easy to get in and out of the city, just a short walk to the metro station and you are downtown in 15 minutes. It feels like you are staying in the Swedish countryside, in an absolute GEM of a hotel. So unique, beautifully designed, with the perfect mix of preserving the old style and blending it with the funkiness and functionality of today . The service is unbeatable. All staff are outstanding. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Great room, very clean and beautiful room. Check in time is @15:00 and check out @ 09:00. So odd for a hotel and makes is hard to sleep in or check in after long flight if early.

Great hotel outside the city center

It was the second time we stayed at the hotel. The hotel staff is very nice and helpfull, especially at the reception.
The room we got this time was on the second floor and smaller than the one we got in the first time.
The way from the parking to the reception and rooms in only by stairs and could be a problem to carry the luggage.

Great hotel in a historic place

The place gives you a historic feeling. The service at the recepion was great and helpfull. Breakfast was very nice.
There is no air condition in the rooms. In our case it was not very necessary but it could help.
There is a big staircase from the parking lot to the rooms and the guest should carry their baggage. It is not very friendly for older people.

Watch out for the nice fasade

The restaurant was not good, so Get a new Chef. If you only serve one main course, and the number of of guests are below ten, it should be perfect in a place you like to be and for the price you charge for it. The one i had was not. It was three pieces, one fish (good), one steak (to long time on the grill so it was dray) and one chicken (which was unbeatable!)
This was served with potatoes (good) and a salad of lettuce drained in mayonnaise, which made it uneatable. It was impossible to get the mayonnaise away, because it was in so large quantity.

A hotel that feels like home

One of the best hotels I have stayed at! The service is impeccable and fantastic. Every room is individually designed and I loved the look of mine. It was spacious even for a small regular single room. Cosy lights in the room and very clean. The hotel feels like a second home where the staff really cares about you. I had dinner in their restaurant for the two nights I stayed and it was so good! Their shrimp salad (seasonal) was delicious and so huge I couldn't even finish it - and I love to eat a lot :)

The people and the service is what topped our list here. We felt like royalty and really appreciate the genuineness of everyone. Make sure to spend time upstairs too. The rooms are fun. We played 3 games of backgammon before we left and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Great breakfast in historic buildings

Easy to get to the hotel with a bus stop right in front and a tram station 5-6 min walk away. Breakfast was really good with fresh bread and tons of hot options. Only downside was lack of closet space or storage in the small room that we have. Not sure if the larger rooms have better storage. Not a ton of restaurants within walking distance so make sure to have an SL Access pass for public transit.

Wonderful facilities and room, although somehat small for 3 (an extra bed). Very hot summer and nice that a fan could be put in the room as there was no aircon. Quite irritaing having cars / taxi drive on noisy road surface right outside the window.

1 night stay at Ulfsunda Slott

Positive: Nice view, comfortable furniture in the garden, near a lake with walking paths, and very accessible to public transport.
Negative: Helpful if there can be signs on premises showing how to reach check-in when entering the premises from the main road.
In the room: No air conditioning, queen bed was short with winter comforters in extremely coarse unpleasant duvets and a wool blanket. There wasn't a sheet on the bed! It was 30 degrees outside!
We had to ask ourselves for a fan at check-in. We don't understand why we weren't provided with an upgraded room or a more comfortable room if there was availability. You can borrow free bikes but they are old bikes and there aren't any helmets. A bit later in the day we asked the front desk if we could walk up in the main building and we found a pool table, air conditioning in a big room to cool down a bit, and of course beautiful art. We never found out about dinner, if there was a bar, where was the spa.
Staff was friendly but we didn't find the staff to be helpful with our stay.

Lovely charming stay

Had a great one night stay. Fun style junior suite with huge bathtub! Very relaxing and comfortable. Nice breakfast in morning but bit early as it finishes at 9. Would love to stay again to see the other room styles and options.

Location is good if you don't want to be downtown. Interesting historic complex of buildings and grounds. Peaceful location by the water. Short walk to the metro station. Overall a good choice if you want something different.

Room was lovely. Breakfast was really nice.
But....after advertising a spa, there were no price guide available or what they offer. We were asked to look on the net. We were then told it was closed anyway because it was there summer period.
On check out we asked if we could leave our case as we had a early evening flight and we wanted to go into Stockholm. This was fine but we had to return by 3.00pm as the hotel was closing and there wouldn't be anybody here. I was amazed.
Even though the hotel was very nice and the staff pleasant, I thought how they advertised what the hotel offered was very 'cute and the advice off the staff regarding in and around Bomma and Stockholm was limited.

P.s...Stockholm...what a fabulous city.

Beautiful hotel!!! Staff was nice and accommodating. The room and bathroom were a little small but the decor, space, and atmosphere of the rest of the hotel definitely made up for it! Would stay here again and would come back to Sweden just for the hotel!

Way above average hotel with parking

Didn't like the TV being in the ceiling or no desk, restaurant was great, and the ante rooms on first floor perfect for my business meetings. Parking also a key point.

The hotel is amazing with friendly staff, great breakfast and beautiful rooms. We loved our stay here, however everytime we left our room our cards would stop working and we would have to get reception to rescan our cards. That was our only problem

Overall, a great hotel! But be aware of distance

VERY nice place to stay with incredible room design (of course, it's in sweden). Location isn't walking distance to city center (depending on what kind of walker you are... new Yorkers would think it's a breeze). I left my ipod at the hotel and when I called the next day they actually had it! Which has never happened before - in the US at least. Very friends staff and lovely hotel grounds. Overall, a great experience!

Swedish Castle to remember

This Hotel exceeded our expectations! It was nestled in a beautiful setting by the river with immaculate gardens and walking paths. The Hotel itself was amazing, with remodled bathrooms and decor in the rooms that felt like it belonged there. The breakfast and dinning were delicious and the main castle rich in history, and worth exploring. To top it all off, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. These accomodations were by far the highlight of our stay in Sweden.

The hotel was lovely with some fantastic original features. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and the gazebo's supplied in the front garden were a nice touch.
However, when you book a spa hotel for a ten year wedding anniversary, you expect the spa to be open or at least be informed that it isn't, but it wasn't and we weren't. Also, there was no vegetarian option at the restaurant. The waitress spoke to the chef and we did get a meal, but I was quite surprised that there was not a single starter or main that we could have.

Trevligt boende nära tvärbanan

Trevligt boende och ett stort plus är att det ligger nära tvärbanan vilket gör det smidigt att ta sig in till stan. Tyvärr gjordes parken ner mot vattnet om när jag var där, så det var mycket byggstängsel och delvis avstängt. Några småsaker som kan förbättras: Små möjligheter att ladda bilen - endast 4 st elbilsplatser, vilka användes av samma bilar hela dygnet jag var där. Väldigt tidig utcheckning - kl 10 på en söndag. Frukosten kunde ha planerats lite bättre, brist på sittplatser - försökte få sitta ute men det var svårt att gå med dig maten ut pga att det inte fanns några brickor samt att den tunga ytterdörren/porten var omöjlig att öppna med saker i händerna.
Skulle dock gärna bo där igen, väldigt trevlig personal..!

Jag hade ett superior rum med gigantiskt badkar/pool i marmor i badrummet. Ett perfekt och prisvärt boende för par som besöker Stockholm för en helg. Frukostbuffén är också bra tilltagen med gott hemlagat bröd och färska juicer.

Tyvärr en dålig upplevelse med en tilltagande stank av avlopp från badrummet under natten. Spolade i hopp om att det var uttorkade vattenlås men det hjälpte inte. Även lång incheckning, trög service vid middag och måttlig kompensation för avloppet vid utcheckning. Synd på ett hotell som varit bättre förr.

Det var en trevligt ställe. Centralt i stockholm och bra med parkering.
Hotellrummet var bra, lite varmt enligt mina preferenser trots avstängda element.
Jättetrevligt stort badkar i sten vilket ger ett plus.

Väldigt bra frukost! Inte superbra utbud men otrolig välgjord och allt kändes hemlagat på ett väldigt bra sätt.

Middagen var också bra, trevligt med förutbestämd meny då man utmanar sig själv med att testa lite nya grejer.

Ligger fantastiskt fint vid en liten sjö men ändå nära till centrala Stockholm. Välvårdad och väl genomfört, bra säng och utmärkt frukost. Middagen var dock inte riktigt där, väl tillagad men i vårt tycke var råvarorna inte riktigt rätt och lite väl försiktig kryddning. Men likafullt vill vi gärna tillbaka senare i år.
