Great room! Quite spacious and kitchen very well equiped. Access to the laundry room (free!) and to a gym.
Breakfast included is great (lots of options, fruits, eggs and luncheon meat, different kinds of bread, veggies, yogourt...)
Great location, three minutes walk to metro.

This was a great place. It was an apartment, but it had many amenities that you'd get with a hotel. It was almost next to the public transportation of Metro, tram or bus. It was away from the pricey downtown areas, but extremely easily accessible. It was our kind of place and I would love to stay there again.

Don’t stay here!

This place is a dump. The bathroom was dirty and partly broken. One of the tv:s was broken and the whole place was dirty. The gym was a joke, it had three machines but the treadmill was broken. Kitchen was tiny and the dishes were dirty when we moved in.

Even though my stay at this property was very short, I was very impressed. The property is located in a pleasant neighborhood and offers a clean and well-organized environment. Each guest has their own entry key, which adds convenience and security. However, what truly stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. When I faced an unexpected personal emergency, a receptionist helped me research various options and assisted with translation to and from Swedish. This level of support was immensely appreciated and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. I highly recommend this property for its excellent location, cleanliness, and outstanding customer service.

Conveniently located a few minutes' walk from a metro station, the hotel was a nice, quiet space to return to after busy days in Stockholm. The only things I would note are the electrics not being great - wires not being hidden properly and one electrical socket not properly connected - but otherwise a lovely place and well equipped.

This was a big apartment - the main bedroom was a good size, although it would have been nice to have a table for glasses, clock, phone, etc. next to the bed. The living room had a pull out couch for the kids, a small table, and a desk, which was great. The kitchen - although small, offered all the basic amenities that we could have needed. We only used the microwave once and the kettle, but it was nice to have the option to cook if I wanted to. The bathroom was really really small, but the shower had good water pressure. The hotel is up a small hill from the train station (about a block away, and I felt every step up hill after walking the whole day!). There isn't a lot around there for dining that we could see, and the stores closed earlier than what we hoped. It was a great place to stay and take the train into the city and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The place is ok for the price. My studio was ok. No thrills. I was in Stockholm for a an internship. So the studio was convenient for the purpose. The gym is VERY basic. But I managed to sweat. The metro is very close. The supermarket not so close in my opinion, but still a walking distance. There’s a restaurant that closes at midnight but their kitchen closes earlier than that.
The hotel doesn’t have senior management on site. So you have to call customer service for every issue.
1 minor issue. I told hi to a cleaning lady. She looked at me and didn’t respond. Staff should perhaps be trained on politeness.
1 not so minor. You have to exit the building to throw away the trash and enter by another door. I thought it was inconvenient.
All in all, the place was convenient for what I was there for. If I were to go back to Stockholm for more than a week, I would probably choose this place again. But not for a quick vacay.

I stayed at this place for one night because I was looking for somewhere to do my washing. I’m extremely glad I only stayed for one night as this place is a dump. First I had issues with getting in to the hotel as I had tried to enter via the car park. For some reason the code that is texted to you to access the hotel does not work on this door but there is nothing to tell you this.

The room itself wasn’t too bad but unfortunately there is little to no sound insulation here. The other guests at this hotel were extremely noisy. I could hear voices in the corridor all night. I also was waken up by people speaking loudly outside the hotel.

This place also attracts undesirable people as when I went to use the laundry room the place stunk of cannabis. The laundry room was also an insult as this place does not provide guests their own detergent. I had to walk to the supermarket to buy some. Do not stay here or at any Forenom property in Sweden. I stayed at one in Norway which was very good but this was is one to avoid.

A pretty much run-down building with rooms for a reasonable price.
My bed was to soft for my liking and it felt as if it was to fall apart. When I sat down on the bed it felt as if the legs were falling of or breaking. It is VERY basic, but if you can't find another reasonable priced hotel close by; ok.
You will get a code for the hotel and your room, so no key to drop. Just the code to remember...
The breakfast was included and was ok.
It is just a few minutes walk (3-4) down to Alvik Metro station.

Well worth the money to stay here

Convenient location, with easy train or tram access to sites all over the region. Record heat this summer was the only downfall - no a/c and a shortage of fans (although we were given one!) Local market meant making meals was convenient to reduce costs. Great staff- very helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend the transit Access Pass - well worth the money to access trains, trams, & ferries all over the area.

Very disappointing. Lots of dust and fluf every where even on beds. It seemed the last family stayed here were over months here. We had to clean somewhat and then stay since it was very late to find another accommodation due to high demands on this time of year. The hotel is close to metro but it is far from the city centre. We had to go to the city centre to go to restaurant and shoppobg. The staff are nice and the apartment itself is spacious though.

On the whole comparing with the hotels that I have seen it is very disappointing and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Enjoyable stay and overall good value; very friendly and accommodating staff, provides a good range of amenities to make it a comfortable stay. I've used this hotel on 3 occasions and have only noticed a small issue, which is obviously not a deal breaker, which the housekeeping staff could catch a few more details between guest turnovers because on occation there had been a light bulb that needed changing and/or a window or wall that needed an extra wipe. With that said I still think its a good value and would recommend it.

Well priced business hotel

Hotel Bromma is set up essentially as serviced apartments for business travellers. And hence it is some distance from the centre of Stockholm. But the Alvik station is a 2 minute walk (if you head to the left once you get off the train!), and the hotel has a supermarket nearby for any needs. The breakfast is simple but has a range of options to suit most tastes. The hotel is very clean and the beds very comfortable. Our room had separate bedroom, lounge room with a fold out mattress, and a kitchenette. I would recommend for the budget conscious who are happy to work out the local rail system.

Located within 2 minutes walk from Alvik station, which has a lot of Tunnelbana trains as well as a tram line, and a bunch of shops including a coffee house, ICA grocery and McDonald nearby, so location wise a good place. Not walkable to any sightseeing places, but well connected, and not far from city.

The kitchen has 2 induction cookers, a decent microwave, kettle, and all the utensils you need to cook a simple meal and eat it properly. Washing up materials - soap, sponge etc provided. And standard stuff like iron and ironing board, with the extra attraction of free access to washing and drying machines. Decent common room with coffee and TV, pool table etc. So, you can use it as a hotel for 1-2 days stay, though the key extras they offer are attractive only if your stay is longer.

All in all, good.

Great location

Extremely clean rooms with reasonable amount of space. Although overlooking busy T-bana junction, the noise from the trains wasn't an issue at night. Having a station just a few minutes walk away was very handy. Also nearby was a supermarket and a few eateries. We tried a few of the ones recommended by StayAt and they were very good. The staff were helpful. The cost of everything in Stockholm was very expensive, which was the only downside.

The hotel is excellent for a family trip. Not far from the city centre, convenient transportation with the metro, just 50 m away from the nearest metro station. The rooms are large and clean, the breakfast is plenty and tasty. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We are very pleased with the hotel. The location is quite convenient, close to the public transport, shops and also the area is very quiet. I would recommend to familes with kids. There is a little kitchen in the room with everything you need. Ther is only one thing I did not like is the room was not cleaned every day and also there was no hoover in the room. Just a bit of dusting and hoovering would be good especially with the kids.

We went in July 2012 and the hotel was in a remodeling phase. The breakfast room was closed so breakfast was served in the downstairs family room. Simple is the best word to describe it. Don't expect anything fancy, and count on bread making up a significant portion of your meal (although it was a huge plus that they served gluten-free bread). As for the Internet connection, they very recently installed wireless Internet throughout the hotel, and this comes free with your room. However, in our first room, this connection was quite poor. The connection would go in and out. We complained to the front desk, and while the woman was nice, she only gave us two options: use a wired connection or have her take a look at the computer. Unfortunately, they removed the wired connection from the room when they put in the wireless, and we know a lot about computers, so we were not sure what else she could do. I complained again and she agreed to move us to a different room. This room did have a wired connection, so she gave us a free ethernet cable to use (otherwise you have to pay for the cable). This room was also a bit bigger, and had a window in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. At the same time, I was confused over the layout of the bathroom. Although the bathroom was humongous, they squeezed the sink, toilet, and shower into one quarter of the space, and the left the rest empty. So you still feel like you are in a cramped bathroom! The mini-kitchen is good and comes with a lot of kitchen accessories so you can easily cook food. The rest of the room is eh - not great, but not bad either.

Have stayed here before. Close to T bahn station and only 15 minutes from city centre. Kitchen facility means you can self cater. There is a supermarket nearby. The dining area is currently being redecorated and the replacement breakfast room is fine. Two lifts can be limiting at busy times.

Best decision I ever made

I checked into a famous hostel in Stockholm and was surprised how bad it was. Hotels in Stockholm were fully booked but StayAt Bromma had one room. My only concern was that it was not in the city center. It was actually good that the hotel was located in a suburb since the hotel was mixed in a residential area. I quickly reserved it for three nights and it was great. The main advantage was how close it was to the train station at Alvik. It is a 3 to 5 minute walk from the hotel lobby to the train platform and 20 minutes to T Centralen. The hotel room was actually a small apartment with kitchenette, small fridge, TV, full desk, and a full closet. Coffee maker and iron board with iron were also included. The decor was new and modern. These amenities saved me a lot of money since I could cook instead of eating out and I washed my clothes there. There are two lifts since the hotel is over 10 stories high, breakfast is available, washing and laundry machines, and Internet access (you need your own network cable). The surrounding neighborhood is great because it has markets, restaurants, and services that are not visible in a big city like Stockholm. I honestly do not see any reason why I would stay in a Stockholm city hotel in the future.

A very clean and well run hotel. Was given a one bedroom apartment, which was lovely and spacious. Very well fitted kitchen and lots of storage space. Beds are lovely and comfortable although i would have preferred larger pillows. The bathroom was very roomy, but I found the unfrosted window in the bathroom a bit revealing !!!!!! . It was unusually hot when I stayed there and it would have been nice to have had a fan in the room. Breakfast is well provided , with a great deal of choice and plenty of food.

Great place to stay for family of four as appartment room spacey and clean. Breakfast was good with a fine selection of continental food and the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. Good location close to T-Bahn and supermarket/McDonalds/leisure centre. Also handy for international football matches at Solna.
Only concern was the poor state of the electrics as the main light fitting was broken and flashed alot!

Great Place in Stockholm

Spent 3 days at the Bromma. Great location, only a block from the Alvik Tbana (subway) station. Trains every 10 or 15 minutes into town. Got the 3 day pass for 120 SEK. Stayed on the 13th floor with a beautiful view. Worried about train noise but it was no problem, even with windows open. Lovely, sparkling clean apartment, (bedroom, living room and bath with instant hot water) Nice mini kitchen with stove, frig, microwave and dishes and utensils for four.
Staff: Very helpful, knowledgeable young ladies with perfect English.
Breakfast: On site restaurant with amazing selection of hot and cold foods. Seemed happy to have us make sandwiches for lunches on the road.
All in all, a great place. Highly recommended.

Good place and affordable

I read the reviews by others so we brought a fan (no ac) and our own internet cable and all was good. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a great little kitchenette and large TV. The train stop was just minutes from the hotel and many buses run that route at all hours - it was easy to get around. The daily breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a cosy and convenient hotel with a very good location (easy access to the centre by underground) and with a very good breakfast. Our room was nice with a nice kitchen, however it was not clean. In some places it seemed as it has been never cleaned before. :-(

The apartment is located only 2 mins from T-bahn and has a small shopping complex 5 mins away with a McDonalds, supermarket, newsagent, bank etc. Despite staying on the 10th floor though, the T-bahn is above ground and therefore noisy on weekends as the metro runs till about 3am and starts again before 6am. If you're a sound sleeper, this is a good bet. Decent breakfast is included and since I got a 3 nights for 2 offer, the studio apt was an unbelievable deal. Will stay again if offered special rate again.

Needs improvement overall

This property is extremely conveniently located right next to a train station on a direct line to downtown Stockholm. By road however accessibility is less than desirable. Just be aware of this in case you plan to drive to the hotel.

The hotel is an older hotel from the 1970s or 1980s, that has not seen any renovation since it was built. Overall condition is good, although the standards of comfort have changed. Elevators are tiny, rooms are tiny as well. There is no wireless internet, but room have wired internet. The hotel charges for an internet cable, but I was able to borrow one for free at the registration desk. I do not believe the hotel is equipped with AC, which was somewhat problematic for my one-night stay in the middle of a hot summer. Beds are tiny, and rather uncomfortable. Overall, my brief stay was pleasant enough, but I would not advise it for multiple nights.

the hotel is located next to the subway station, due to my early arrival i got a early checkin in the morning at 9AM, good to take a shower after the long flight. the weird thing was the room does not look very clean, towel in the bathroom smells sweaty, i don't know if the cleaning lady forgot to replace it or not. but was replaced after speaking to the cleaning staff. otherwise, it was a pretty good hotel.

We were very pleased with this hotel. There was some noise, since the highway is adjacent and there is no AC, but the closeness to the metro and shops more than made up for that. The kitchen in the room was helpful and although the furnishings were not luxurious, they were adequate. The breakfast buffet was fabulous--with many types of bread, yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, eggs, etc., but it was hard for me to face olives, peppers, and pickles at 7am!

The hotel is about 7 stops on the train from the centre of Stockholm, this is only about a 10 to 15 minute journey. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for affordable accommodation in Stockholm.

The room is very spacious for the price. That being said, you won't get any frills. They do not clean your room unless you are there more than a week and it costs extra for more towels and soap. If you need a lot of room inexpensively, this is the way to go.

useful location

We spent 4 nights here and found the staff courteous friendly and helpful. The seafood restaurant near the lake and supermarket just past the metro staton were fine. The stockholm card worked well as travel and admission to museums were covered. I would stay again in spring but can see that summer may be difficult due to lack of air conditioning and windows revealing train noises.

More like an small apartment

This is not a hotel room this is a small apartment, you get a small kitchen and another room with a bed and a desk. Internet access in the room but is not wireless, they lend me a cable. No air conditioning. Cleaning is done once a week, since I was there only 3 days no cleaning was done.
About 50m from the Alvik t-bana (underground) station.

Very inexpensive, pleasant, no maid service

This is a \"self service\" hotel: there is no maid service, no change of towels or sheets in stays under a week -- but the room was clean, spacious and pleasant, and very inexpensive -- and it included a very nice buffet breakfast. Also, the hotel is close to a stop of Stockholm's superb transit system. It worked out very well for my wife and me.

Allt fanns och var rent och helt i köket. Underhållet kunde har varit bättre, toapappershållaren hade sett bättre dagar, sängen var bekväm med nerluggen. Personalen var underbar och frukosten hade fått top betyg om de hade haft gröt men personalen ordnade fram havreyoghurt, fem stjärnor för det. Hotellet vinner verkligen på sin personal.

Utsikten över Stockholms soluppgångar var en oväntad plus samt Alviks restauranger och Äpplevikens konditorier. Samt flottbastun som kan bokas.

Sijainti on oikein hyvä, metrolle pääsee nopeasti ja lähistöltä löytyy sekä kauppa että luontoa lenkkeilyyn. Aamiainen oli ihan OK, perustarpeet löytyivät pääosin - tosin vegaaninen tarjonta rajoittui jogurttiin ja barista-kahvimaitoon, vaikka sivuilla mainitaan että vegaanistakin löytyy. Asunto oli 11. kerroksessa ja 4 hissiä auttoi liikkumisessa hyvin. Asunto oli muuten siisti ja toimiva, paitsi että sohvasänky oli todella huteran oloinen ja kylpyhuoneessa oli koko majoittumisen ajan tympeä ja ikävä haju.

Bra boende, uppskattar speciellt att rummet var tyst.
Till frukost fanns mycket grönsaker, vilket jag uppskattar, det var en positiv överraskning.

Bra enkelt boende

Rymligt rum/lägenhet med ganska bra standard. Dock en väldigt liten och läskig hiss som kändes ostabil och gnisslade. Valde därför trapporna istället vilket var jobbigt då jag bodde på 16:e våningen, och extra jobbigt när brandlarmet gick av oklar anledning. Vi fick ingen information om vad som hände. Frukosten var lagom, inte så mycket att välja på men absolut tillräckligt för en simpel frukost.
