There appeared to be a lack of updated communication on changes to booking made at the hotel.
Sun beds around the pool were difficult to obtain after approx 10am as guests placed towels on beds, some of these were by children who never came out of the pool, they did not use them. This left many guests disappointed

Good value hotel, all staff were very welcoming and helpful especially Ashatoun on reception who arranged an early check in within 1hr, Huge thank you to him after arriving 6am. Breakfast and lunch was good standard and wide menu. Especially helpful with 25% discount food n beverage. Good value. Convenient location has its own private relaxing beach and adequate gym onsite. Recommended will return.

Checked in at 2100 with Dee who was nice, didn’t took too long i received my keys and went to the room. Nice specious very classic design.
Bathroom needs renovation and better cleaning with dusty corners and filthy towels! After one hour in the room i figured out there is an issue and the ac is not cooling and it is too late and i have very early morning meeting. I called reception and it took exactly 3:15 min to answer ☹️ i requested them to check the ac and they requested an engineer who took more than 20 min to reach and told me the temperature in the room seems ok!! Yes maybe if you like to sleep in 27 degrees 😒 then he started working out the physical ac. Then he said finaly now it is 22!!! Sir i need the room to be 18-19 degrees to sleep it became 23:00 !!! He said i will check with my supervisor and get back to you ( ohh my god first time in uae to face such a silly issue in what claimed to be 5 stars hotel) AC is the main element in any room in here! After another 15 min i had to call the reception and highlight my high dissatisfaction that i specifically checked to the hotel to get good sleep before my morning appointment and it is yet mid night and still waiting for them to sort the issue finally they admitted that the AC is broken and offer me to change the mirror room. Another 20 minutes gentlemen came and take me to the new room, which was unfortunately smoking, but at least with a working AC and all what I needed is in a good temperature so I can’t sleep..

Our one-night stay was enjoyable. thank you! my daughters adore the pool. it would be great if you could set up or cover the pool, especially with the heat this summer. to increase the kid's enjoyment. By the way, when we got to the room, I saw that we had only been given one pair of room slippers, even though the reservation had stated that there would 2 adults. i immediately called your reception for three reasons: 1. a pair of extra slippers; 2. extra more coffee (i am a coffee addict, sorry); and 3. the TV wasn't functioning properly. He promised to send someone, and sure enough, he did, but he only fixed the TV. However, no one responded to this minor request until we checked out. I was also a little let down with the bed layout because I had hoped for some sort of decoration or a straightforward towel arrangement. like the dove of a lover. If you're able to visualize it. They made some surprises or made modest arrangements when we celebrated our anniversary in Baku, Azerbaijan, last year and at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers in 2023. so that it feels like our anniversary. However, thank you, they do send some anniversary cake. by the way, the staff who send us to our room is very nice. he's a role model. I'm not sure with the name \"atif\" \"arif\". room 2309, around 4PM, checked 19th July Sat.

It is a great hotel to stay in, clean enough but not excellent. We Were not told we need to request the room to be cleaned while we checked in so we did not get water and clean towels first day. Second time we were just genuinely missed out i guess….Room was clean when we arrived but got a bit dusty while there 😟. Food on the other hand was great, one of the best buffet we’ve been so far and we have tried a few i myst say! Always fresh, great flavors and plenty variety! Not the same dishes two evenings in a row so great job to the chef!! Oh yes the pillows were either to full and hard or too thin and not confortabile to sleep on for our likening. Not enough spaces to the pool nor to the beech for a fully booked day, re: the Sunday we were there. But all in all a great holiday would recommend this accommodation!

We had the best stay at Bab al Qasr. From facilities to hotel staff I will say nothing by praise. Everything was too notch. Room absolutely lovely and nice and clean.
Pool area fantastic and beach too.
Everyone was super helpful and we felt spoiled.

Just got back from an amazing stay at this hotel with my friends and family, and honestly, everything was even better than I expected! From the second we pulled up, the valet parking made things super easy, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The concierge service was on point too, always ready to help with recommendations and anything we needed.

The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made a difference in how relaxed we felt right away. The rooms were clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. Plus, the hotel’s location was great, and we had a blast.

I was there for my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with a complimentary cake. A huge thank you to Ayoub, Thea, Ifti, Rodeite, and all the other staff members whose names I didn’t catch. You all made the stay extra special!

Overall, the place's vibe was perfect—stylish, cozy, and with little details that made our stay even better.

While advertised as a 5-star hotel, the attention to detail leaves much to be desired. The electrical outlets were outdated, with only two functional ones located far from the bed, making it challenging to use an adapter. The bathrobes came with mismatched straps, and the bathroom’s marble surfaces were poorly maintained, giving the space a perpetually unclean appearance despite regular cleaning. The flush button was broken, and housekeeping skipped my room even though I had placed the “cleaning requested” sign.

The hotel’s location is inconveniently far from other areas, and getting a taxi from there was difficult.

On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, the management fell short in maintaining a high standard. Overall, this stay was not worth it—other nearby hotels may charge more, but they uphold the quality one expects from a 5-star establishment.

We felt that the information displayed in Expedia was misleading and set our expectations completely wrong. The hotel didn’t give us any room upgrade and said they would never do that. They didn’t know what we were talking about when we mentioned the VIP Access qualification of this hotel and have not offered any additional benefit at all. So far, this whole VIP Access and Gold Expedia membership don’t mean or bring anything for us - very disappointed customers.

We enjoyed a 5 night stay in this hotel. It was an excellent stay- the staff were so helpful. The complimentary valet parking was very helpful considering we had a young son. The private beach is lovely and quiet. This was a perfect holiday to Abu Dhabi with our 1 year old. Cannot recommend the hotel and staff enough. Very child friendly with a very convenient location and the best view of emirates palace! We will definitely be back!

The hotel seemed to be a good hotel, however, it was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel to have previous guest's hair left in the bathtub in the room. I work for The Ritz Carlton in Charlotte, NC which is also a 5 star hotel so I know that is unacceptable. That is very unsanitary. When I mentioned it to the gentleman that came to my room to clean it, the best he could do was wipe it out (not clean the tub).

Good location. Very comfortable and high standard. Beach area was good although the area had a bad storm on our 2nd night and suffered notable damage and disruption. Breakfast on floor 2 was excellent and included in our price. Food and drink a bit pricey for us, for example £18 for two iced coffees and that's with zero exchange fees and paying in AED. Defintely a good choice though and great to stay here after our visit 10 years ago staying at the Palace opposite.. hard to match that I guess 😀.

Breakfast choices needs to be reviewed for the better. Asian (Filipino?) guy from the front at the breakfast place needs to smile to everyone. We were there for 3 days and noticed him smile and sits other guests but never to us. I think we're from the same country and unfortunately he's got a problem with that. We're guest and we need to be welcome just like everyone else. I've been a traveler and a tripadviser reviewer for so many years and had never experience a such. Give him another chance, I'm here to review for a better change not to cause trouble. But everything else was good.

Its a terrible night for my family

It was a terrible night because of below reasons.
1) hotel.com reservation includes lately check-out option but this hotel do not provide it.
2) When I checked-in at the hotel, others cut my line twice but hotel do not action.
3) There were not free bottles of water. So I requested 3 times at counter but they provided the bottles very lately. (actually I requested directly house-keeper in the end)
4) There was only a pair of slippers in the room.
5) There was hair on the sink.

The people who positively review this hotel must not have stayed at other hotels in Abu Dhabi!! It’s fine, but it’s really not great co pared to other places. Front reception staff are mostly fine, apart from one or two surly young women. The lifeguards are split between rude staff and nice ones. The Ladies’ room hairdressers are incredibly rude and aloof. The service in the breakfast kitchen is very average, and we almost had an incident in which a chocolate sauce that wasn’t labeled turned out to be Nutella and would have caused anaphylaxis. Spa staff were pleasant, but don't speak much English. The housekeeping staff don’t know how to make a bed properly. The pool and beach are okay, but not brilliant. It’s all pretty average - so why would you stay here when you could stay at the Hyatt next door, or at many other hotels whose staff and services are much, much better!

OMG! I had a great experience with my two aunts in this wonderful hotel. All the staff members, specially the overnight receptionist from Egypt, are awesome and very caring people. They really tried to accommodate every single request we had. I will definitely stay in this hotel if I go back to Abu Dhabi. Great customer service plus very fancy hotel.

Ideally located, 25 – 30 minutes from Airport, 3 mins drive to Marina Bay Mall 10 AED by taxi. Hotel has no shuttle but we find getting around extremely easy. As an Expedia VIP guest we were upgraded because they had availability. We were on 27th Floor and the views were fantastic especially of the Emirates and Presidential Palace were great. All our requests made prior to arrival were met, thanks to all those involved. The hotel is next door to Hyatt and the Etihad Towers. Not a lot to choose from at breakfast however, the food was absolutely fantastic. Reasonable size pool hotel also has a private beach. Staff good eye for detail. Thanks to Clement for his assistance during our stay. The kitchen staff were also great. Joel really needs to be complimented. He ensured that our daughter's gluten free diet was met and he works extremely hard a personal thank you Joel. Ramesh the chef, the Egg station chef Francis, Theresa and others in and around the restaurant who had help, thanks for your support to make our stay a memorable one. Hotel could consider using up some of its fantastic space to create another pool as the existing one is small. Hotel has a gym, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. We paid for Club Lounge Access very good to have as you get to eat snacks, finger foods, desserts, drinks and alcohol during specific times. Loved them all and staff were great. It was sad that we had to leave and we had a really good time at Bab Al Qasr and we or even I will be back.

Very nice place to stay. Decent price for what it offers: the view, the location, and the nice environment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would lie to have a very nice view of the palace and the coast.

Beautiful, Comfortable, and Convenient

The front desk staff when I first arrived and throughout my stay was extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the beautiful views, breakfast, and close location to many Abu Dhabi attractions.
