It did not feel like the traditional hotel and the Black out curtains are the cherry on top ! I will definitely stay here again
Isabel
I usually use this chain of hotels and this hotel and staff is the best! Definitely will return here for future trips!

Cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed at! Super helpful staff. Highly recommend!!

I was charged for a one night stay at this hotel and I did not stay here at all. I made no reservations and a claim for a new cancellation fee of $176 was charged to my account. There has been little conversation regarding resolving this matter

Excellent front desk staff service. Convenient location and parking. Next to Chili's restaurant for an easy evening meal.

This place was so well maintained.

The room was clean however it had a dog smell. The rooms keys didn’t work. The room wasn’t equipped with anything useful like chargers plug ins. It was musky inside. The bed was awful. Very lumpy, saggy, and we slept horribly. No breakfast unless you purchased it. You have to pay to park at the hotel you already paid over 200.00 dollars for one night. I’ll never stay at this one again.

Hotel was nice, especially lobby, but just know parking is $10/day, breakfast is not included, room has fridge & micro.
TownePlace Suites by Marriot right next door has free parking, breakfast is included and rooms have full kitchen.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean! The breakfast was expensive; I had a bowl of oatmeal described as steel cut, but I’m quite certain it was quick oats. The blueberries were good, tho!
Valerie

Hotel was average in its design, space, cleanliness etc. I did have an issue with the booking, and the customer service by the front counter staff was OUTSTANDING!

Always enjoy staying here. Though all prices are steep, it’s a great price for a clean stay with great staff. Just watch for added fees!

Very clean, convenient and affordable. Great value! Even better, the staff was super kind and friendly. Highly recommended hotel. Marriott at its best.

Additional Fees for Parking and Breakfast
I searched through a ton of properties before choosing this one and forgot to make sure it had free breakfast - it DOESN'T. You also have to pay for parking, which is beyond ridiculous. Just add that price to the room and call it free. Those are my only complaints.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't use the pool or fitness facility.

No elevator working at this property did not inform us at time of booking

Save your money
During check in, the front desk staff waited until the very end of check in (after paying for parking) to inform us that the elevators were broken and had been for several days. Our room was on the third floor and we were told there were no other available rooms for us. The hotel is not in the best area, so we had to bring in all of our things to avoid our car getting broken into. That meant several trips up multiple flights of stairs hauling our heavy luggage. The hot tub hardly worked and was full of dead bugs, as was the pool. In our room, the closet was broken. Our beds were extremely uncomfortable. Our tub faucet was broken and spun in circles. Other guest were smoking weed and being disruptive. All of the gym equipment was broken aside from one machine. Staff was friendly but this property is not up to the Marriott standard. We have stayed in Motel 6's that were nicer.

The staff was very helpful during a difficult time. The lobby was beautiful. A nice place to gather with family.
One concern was having carpet in a pet friendly room. It would have felt cleaner with hard surface flooring. Overall I would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Room was not ready at check in time. Says dining available, which means you can buy Starbucks in the lobby. Booked with 4 people in the room, complimentary water was 2 bottles, why not one for each person booked?

The young lady who worked the front desk on 5/17/2025 around 1ish deserves a raise! She was friendly, funny, and helpful! Her personality alone would be a reason I would book a room.
Annette
Great place to stay while visiting family. The hotel was very clean and close to eateries and local shopping.

Came for the weekend with my grandkids was a very enjoyable weekend. Beds were very comfortable, staff very friendly.

We got here and they had the room ready and it was great. The only thing that I wasn’t happy about was after paying $25 for breakfast through hotels.com the hotel had no confirmation of that and we didn’t get breakfast. I would like a refund of $25 for that please.
Sarah
The Courtyard Marriott in Panama City is a great facility. Beautiful hotel lobby and very nice hotel room, spacious and comfortable. The front desk clerk was a 10! She was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the town and went out of her way to answer questions I had about the area. Recommend this hotel for anyone traveling in this area.

Crappy service at a crappy place
Did not stay. Staff wanted our cc number because they said something missing from their form. Multiple discussions. My call to hotels.com. Again to find that the motel should have called not me and that the motel didn’t need my cc. Room was paid for. Motel cx the reservation (didn’t like my attitude). I requested they cx our return stay. I am waiting for a full refund as stated or I will file fraud charges. Requested to talk to manager - staff said she called and refused my request. Also charge for parking $10 per car. Now we know why parking lot and motel empty. Happy to post that we went down the street to an amazing hotel with exceptional staff. Took their last room. Zero issues using the same system.
jarrett
Not sure of the occupancy rate, but i was given a room that shared a wall with the elevator shaft. Made for a noisy room. These should be the last rooms they give out. Hot tub was not in commission. They service rooms every other day so i had to go by the desk to get the coffee refills. Overall clean facility and no complaints for the desk personnel.
Judy
EXCELLENT customer service and super friendly
The customer service was excellent. Every staff member was polite, helpful and provided amazing customer service. Highly highly recommend this location.
Bruce
Overall, a fine stay. And I don’t mind paying more for quality (clean, quiet, safe, well-maintained). But to charge extra for parking when the hotel is near empty? Also, no safe in room, so I had to carry my valuables with me every time I left the hotel. So for those reasons, I may choose elsewhere next time.
Christina
One of the best stays I’ve had in awhile! Clean room. Friendly staff. Quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows as well as a cold AC!
Thalia
Over all decent hotel for a short term stay. The bathroom was a little dirty with mildew build up in the bathroom but this tends to be common with coastal hotels. Felt safe staying here and had some dining options in the area.
Steve
Everything was clean and orderly . A real nice setup in design of the room . Will definitely stay again

Asked for a room not by the elevator or pool and she gave us a room right next to the elevator and we can hear the people at the pool and I am writing this at 9:30 p.m. Our window is right next to the pool.
Patrick
I made an advance reservation and received a confirmation email. Nowhere did it mention parking fees. So much else is described about the hotel: restaurant, pet policy, laundry facilities, in-room accessories, local attractions. Why no mention of parking fees? Because they deliberately hide it, then add it after checkout and hope that you don't notice the charge on your card until too late. It's purposely obscured. Parking fees are legitimate, IF you disclose them upfront. I called after noticing the fees, and the front desk person agreed with me that it's borderline dishonest. So, I emailed the Asst. GM. His response? I'm still waiting for it, and it's been nearly two weeks. I'm not holding my breath, and I\"m not returning to this hotel.
Jonathan
I loved everything about the property
Giuseppe
Was nice and clean. We stayed there one night. Took off a star because of the 10$ parking fee, other than that it was a good stay. Thanks!
Robert
Would be nice to have some complementary breakfast items
