The recepcionist provided me the worst attention and service ever, the room didnt have blankets when we arrrive late night, the answer that I got was : I dont have any, its not my problem, tomorrow you need to ask in the reception. Consequence: kids sick next morning. Later, ask for some additional minutes for the check out, the answer was : not even a single minute. Finally my wife forgot a ring, we called back after 30 minutes, not even a single action despite of the explanation or where was left. Worst experience for my entire family after staying in this hotels several years and many man6 times.

Our coffee machine inside our room didn’t work it leaked everywhere and there is only one set of a washer and dryer in the entire hotel. But, other than that the food was mid but kept us fed in the morning. 30 minutes from Pier Park, wasn’t terrible for the price.

Clean room
Madison
We stayed here for 3 nights. We had a King suite, so a separate bedroom from family room. The TV in our bedroom never worked. The drawer in the dresser wouldn’t stay closed. Our toilet leaked a lot. Walls around pictures were dirty. The property is old and needs to be better maintained. However, the staff, including during breakfast, was always wonderful and accommodating. Breakfast was really good as well.
Nicole
Bathtub had lots of hair, refrigerator was dirty and when I asked to have it cleaned they said someone was on the way, checked again a few hours later and Noone had cleaned...we're told housekeeping was now gone so I had to clean it myself!! Trash in hallway was piled up for 3 days..never emptied
Sharmila
They misguided with headings as pier 2 miles, where it is too far
Scott
The air was off in all hallways and the hallways stunk. Room was okay once it finally cooled down
Roger
It was all good
Alyssa
For the price, the location was great. Walkable sidewalks, short drive to the beach, friendly staff, the pool was nice, and beds were comfortable
Emily
We stayed here for our two year anniversary and it was an amazing experience! We will definitely be back!

This is where we stay every time we are in town, which is 4-6 times a year. It is always spotless clean and is centrally located. The breakfast is decent. The price is better than some other chains hotels that are not as clean or as nice.

Noisy old you paid for what you got

Only complaint is the Outdoor Spa was not very warm(definitely not to the stated 104 degrees as stated on sign). The swimming pool was excellent..nicely maintained!! Room was wonderful!! Service was wonderful!! Breakfast Buffet wonderful! Would stay again🙂👍

Not pet friendly. The housekeeper staff complained about my dog barking. If you own a big dog don’t stay there. The smaller dogs bark all night. No complaints from the housekeepers
George
Place was clean and beds comfortable
Charles
Convenient and price as good for the area/time of year. Not the cleanest but not the worst. Bed was comfortable. Would recommend for the price

On arrival I was told I had to pay an additional $15 per day because the hotel claimed they were a resort. RESORT? They were a hotel with a small pool outside. No different than any other hotel in that vicinity. It was explained to me that everybody that stays has to pay for the amenity for the upkeep of the pool. The front desk personal advised me of the incidental deposit and quickly told me about the resort (?) fees. Expedia usually tell you your price with taxes and fees included when you book. That was not the case. After calling Expedia, they read the small print and apologized to me about the fee! Just so you know, it's not about the money but the principle. As of right now, Expedia has done nothing to make it right.

Room clean! Elevator and hallways could use maintenance. 1 day stay onlu

Enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was the best part. The room was not as clean. My son found a beer can behind one of the beds. The jacuzzi was not clean. Would I recommend for a quick stay, yes. Would I return, no.

We have 4 people; two adults and two kids. I indicated it during booking. We had only 3 towels. With the room we had, we were clearly going to use the pull out couch. It was a king suite with the pull out couch for the kids. There were only sheets. No pillows and no comforter/blanket for the kids. When my husband went to ask for pillows for my kids, they said no, we are out. That pillows is what everyone steals. How do you have a pull out couch, with the booking of 4 people, and not provide the basic necessities of sleeping? The vent in the bathroom was leaking water into the floor. The room smelled terribly. I read reviews before booking and those reviews do not match the experience we had. Really disappointed with our stay.

We had a great stay! We were moving from Missouri to Panama City bWe had traveled that entire day, the day before and were exhausted. The staff were so helpful and got us into our room very quickly! Also there was plenty of green space to walk our dogs! We'll definitely recommend LA Quinta to any of our guests that come to visit!
Maria
We love it! Everything! Except the charge me $17 for some reasons after check out. Some sort of convenience fee...
Kelly
Nice clean room, good service
francisco
Clean room and plenty of parking.

For the second time staying in the same room we were assigned a room where dogs had been and the smell was very bad. We don’t have dogs and don’t think people without dogs should be assigned these rooms. We will stay elsewhere next time.

We were only here for one night but it was fine. It would have been nice had there been a couple of waters in the room since I'm a rewards member, but whatever. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
Jennifer
Did not sleep well. There were dogs in different rooms that barked at each other all night.
Cathy
Price was a very good value. Breakfast was excellent and server was very conscientious and thorough. We mentioned several things that needed attending and response was followed through quickly.
Beth
The room smelled when we walked in. The AC unit was so loud it made it hard to sleep. The pillows were horrible. The room smelled like cigarettes. And we hard time with the room keys working. We only stayed 1 night and that was enough.
Mark
Convenient to restaurants, shopping and a short drive to the beaches. Located on Hwy 231 so ask for a POOL SIDE ROOM. This is an older hotel that has been remodeled (within10 yrs?) except the shower/tub is probably original. The clerk who checked us in didn't exactly make us feel welcome. The floors in our room were not clean especially the vinyl floor. The room doors are noisy and will wake up light sleepers. Pets are allowed. Plenty of parking. Small fitness room. Breakfast was good with lots of seating inside and outside.
Jayanna
The staff were super sweet and helpful with anything needed.
The place was clean and pet friendly! The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice!
The room was spacious, clean, and housekeeping came by each day, they were also very nice and always asked if there was anything needed. Genuinely felt safe here. Not too far from places to eat or from the beach!

My biggest complaint was the noise. It got very little sleep because all I could hear was doors slamming, conversations from the next room and TVs all night. Other than that was fine. Clean rooms and great staff.

I like how the room was bigger than most rooms. I didn’t like the bathroom door. It was double doors. There were no safe in the closet like most hotels. The breakfast was the same every day. After the 3rd day I was done. I stayed there for 6 days. I appreciate the free food but it wasn’t enough. The staff were nice. But what really upset me was the roaches!!!! I found one in my little bag on the floor with my flip flops and my husband also saw one. The doors to the rooms have a big space so I’m assuming they came in that way. Smh.
Scott
The hotel needs help. The bathroom in our room had a leaky toilet, the tub/shower is rusty and looks like it needs to be replaced. Also, there is no ceiling fan in the bathroom and there is no where to hang towels to dry. The rooms also need some sound proofing, as you can hear people in adjacent rooms, fairly easily. The location and other amenities don’t make up for the issues with the room.
Cheryl
Breakfast was top notch, service was above what I expected, front desk and room attendants were very professional and very kind..
Lisa

The offered breakfast was WORST I have EVER eaten. It was so bad that I did not even go for breakfast second day.
The variety was missing.
Whatever was there was COLD e.g . Eggs
Yogurt was only 1 flavor, even plain yogurt was missing. in the name of Fruits, ONLY lowest quality of Apple were there.
Hope you will take some steps to improve.

The staff is amazing. The AC in our first room wasn’t working properly, the front desk was prompt to switch us to another room. We stayed two nights. My husband couldn’t find his phone after we had checked out and the staff let us back in the room, helped us search the room twice, even went to check the laundry room, and went above and beyond to help us locate the phone, which we did. The breakfast area was clean, well stocked, and maintained. The room was clean. It was quiet even though it was busy. Definitely will stay here again!
Yuliana
Really nice place to stay at, would stay again

Ac needed checking. Toilet was cracked.

Everything was great as usual except the lack of breakfast food in the mornings. Very little to choose from. Went down and there were no eggs or bacon and one sausage patty was all and about 30 people in the eating area so I settled for Waffle House.
Arielle
Excellent breakfast bar selection and the woman working the breakfast area was super attentive and made sure every little thing stayed stocked and clean for the duration of breakfast.
