The floors were filthy in the room. White socks were black. The cloth sofa and the cloth chairs in the breakfast area was stained. The soap, shampoo etc dispensers in the room were empty. There was never anyone at the front desk.

I would like to commend all of the staff at Best Western in Panama City. The room was extremely clean you could smell the cleanliness when you walked in. The Front Desk staff was extremely helpful and made check in a breeze. The breakfast staff was very pleasant and made sure I had what I needed. This was the first time that I had ever stayed at a Best Western hotel. It will not be my last time! Bravo to the staff as well as to management. Keep up the Great work!

The moment i opened the door there was a cockroach in the middle of the entry hallway.
When it was time to go to beed, discovered the sheets had a big yellow stain on it. Reported to the front desk and was given a bedsheet to change it. Clearly the bed was never changed. Luckily i was there for only one night. Breakfast was ok. Make sure you ask for a room that doesn’t have a connecting door or else you will feel like you are in the same room with your neighbors

While the room was clean - the hallways smelled terribly of wet dog and there wasn’t any ventilation making everything incredibly musty smelling. We got in late at night and the overnight front desk worker was not welcoming. The lady running the breakfast was the best part - she kept things very tidy and clean and food was good.

The front desk clerk saw us and another couple in line waiting to check in and didn’t even acknowledge us. She was talking to another person. Later that same evening my husband and I were returning from dinner and noticed suspicious activity in the parking lot. We didn’t feel safe and the desk personnel weren’t concerned.

the carpeting in the whole hotel was dirty. needs to be shampooed!!!! Breakfast was excellent!!! our tv was updated and we walked in our room with them changing it out. They should have told us that was going to happen. The hotel staff was fabulous. The weight room needs lighter weights. Our stay was great except the carpet!!

We could not have any of the breakfast because it didn’t start till seven and we needed to be out of there before seven. Try to get some coffee it was available however it was broken. The elevator was working fine at night but the next morning when we left with all of our stuff, we had to take stairs because the elevator was broken water pressure was great great shower. It would be nice if when they built the place, they added extra protection, so we can’t hear everything outside cause with all the cars moving and stuff you can hear everything right outside your window, but overall it was not a bad stay for the one night that we had however, next time we are in that area we will try a different place also in the area that this is located, there are a lot of places nearby, which made it easy to get food and anything else that we needed so good area.

Great location about 11 miles away from the beach and walking distance to Target and IHOP. Rooms clean, breakfast hot and fresh, and beds very comfortable! It was Spring break so lots of kids and teenagers in hallways loud to be expected around the time so I understood. Great price as well! The lady working the breakfast area single handedly was very kind, she deserves a raise!

Great costumer service! Really good breakfast with a good variety of options! The best coffee machine I've ever seen at a hotel! The coffee machine also made really good hit chocolate, cappuccino, latte, espresso, and several more options! Price was decent. There's a nice outdoor pool but we didn't use it! Highly recommend!

Some type of syringe was left in my room from the previous guest. The initial person who respond did seem genuinely helpful but when I went to the front desk in the morning to ask if he left a note for the staff to remove them, the lady cut me off in mid sentence by putting a piece of paper in my face without even looking at me. It was the note he left. I tried to reassure her that I didn't mean any harm in asking and she said \"this is just my personality\". I described the situation in email to the manager of hospitality and his reply was very vague and lacked genuine concern. I tried to communicate that but he avoifed to my direct questions, tried to make it as if I was asking him how he deals with his internal staff and finally ignored my request for an additional contact person. It just made it clear that guest experience isn't something they seem to value if the hospitality manager who manages escalated emails can be that detached.

Well...the ice machine on our floor was out of order so had to go up 2 floors for ice which wasn't terrible until the elevator also went down so had to take stairs and it was down all weekend. The bulk shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers were either empty or solid as couldn't get anything out of them. The shower dripped constantly. The breakfast area was always clean and food kept coming but was not very hot.

The staff member that checked us in was Fantastic!
The rest acted as if we were putting them out!
My biggest problem was the walkway carpets STUNK! They totally need to be replaced!! If not a thorough deep cleaning. Breakfast was excellent, parking convenient and safe.
But!! I can’t express it en! The carpets need to be replaced……….

Roach and smelly room

This was a last minute overnight stay and it was terrible I was so tempted to find somewhere else. Entering the room there was a strong weird smell and I saw a roach when we were leaving. The staff was kind and helpful, they gave us air fresheners which didn’t help but they tried. 0/10

Staff was very friendly! Property was very nice. Rooms were spacious. The room had a beautiful blue turquoise accent wall. The bathroom was huge!! The shower fantastic. It was quiet and plenty of parking. Buffet type breakfast. The pool was outside and it was clear and very nice. There is a water machine in the lobby so you can fill your tumbler. They have a Keurig machine which makes different types of coffee. It was a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get. We would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My bed had stains on the sheets and duvet. She brought me clean sheets but I had to change the sheets myself. She was the only one working and was so overwhelmed. People were tracking from the pool so she was mopping the floors and handing out towels and then sheets and also checking people in. She did all of this with a smile and was quick to respond and help.
