I wanted to like it, the convenient location and the very friendly front staff but the room was well worn and had a horrible smell. The fridge was rusted from what looked like water damage on the lower door. There wasn’t even a bedside lamp! Very, very bare bones. No toiletries offered either. Across the hall just outside our rooms door they had two air blowing dryers to dry out the carpet. Smelly and noisy.

I booked a last minute trip and stayed here with my dog for the weekend. The room itself was very clean and smelled great like it had been freshly cleaned. The bed was comfy, fresh sheets and fluffy pillows! Also the air worked great. The outside of the hotels a little dirty looks like it needs a good clean up. But overall for the price I’d say it was decent. No complaints.

There's no oven in the room. The vent in the bathroom didn't work. The blinds in the bedroom are in pork condition but the staff was nice and reported all problems to them. Still not fixed yet

Definately needs better management as a hotel!!

Yes, parking lot had lots of trash from people loitering on outside at night, leaving beer cans, cups, trash everywhere. Elevator had dog poop in it. Disgusting!! Rooms need painting. Refrigerators rusty and old. Customer service is not the best. Poor communication. Not enough staff and house keeping set up is awful. You have to pay extra for linen and housekeeping. No one is hardly at the desk. Keycard kept not working, so we got locked out frequently!!

I arrived late at about 10pm, it was in the middle of shift change, it took the front desk clerk a few minutes to get me checked in , they said she had to get clocked in. I asked if there were irons in the room, the lady said let me go look and see if they have any, they did I had to sign it out on a clipboard. This was inconvenient to me. I was told If I would have gotten there any later I wouldn’t have been able to even get an iron, due to no one being there after hours. The carpet in the hallways are disgustingly soiled, stains throughout and a dirty musty stinch in the halls. Upon entering the room Finally after driving 6 hours extremely exhausted just wanting to shower and go to sleep, I go to the bathroom and there was a cockroach crawling up the shower wall, so I killed it. It was late I was so fatigued I took a shower and needed to lay down. I went into the room and layed down, but decided I would sleep with the lights on because of the roaches. I went back into the bathroom to find more roaches. Its was a miserable stay. I could not get comfortable, I tried to sleep but I couldnt because the thought of the roaches thru my head all night. I only needed the room for about 5 hours as I had to be somewhere at 5:30 am. So literally it was the worst 6 hours of discomfort and disgust, that I have experienced in a hotel. The overall experience here I give 1 star and will never return. I come to the area twice a month, wont be back

Nightmare in Extended Stay

The hotel stay was terrible. My room Air Conditioner didn't work and its located in Florida. Its the middle of summer with temperatures over 97 degrees. I had to buy a fan from Wal-Mart in order to have a cool room. I told the front desk and she came and checked on it amd it never got fixed. Alsonkilled a flying roach in the room which had a bug problem.

If you are in town for business, location is fine. However, this Hotel is not close to the Beach. It took 25 minutes to drive there withOUT traffic. No ice machines available (I was told at the front desk I had to make your own cubes in the room - which is not guest friendly. So, I had to go back out and buy ice at the store. Air conditioning units need an upgrade. Mine got the room to 76 at best even when set at 70 and running all night long. The room was clean but the smoke smell in the hallway from the lobby loiterers (although supposed to be non smoking too) was annoying. I think the Hotel is overpriced for what it is and its location - I paid $150.00 for one night. Plus, they hold $150.00 on your card for \"incidentals\" and charge $1.00 per call if you use the phone in the room. WTH? Last time I saw that type of nonsense, you could put quarters in the bed to get it to vibrate. And had I actually brought my dog - that costs an extra $25 per night too. But hey folks, feel free to bring all your dirty, whining, misbehaved kids in at no extra charge.

The walls are thin - crack you can see right out the door - dogs barked late at night, people with dogs should be on ground floor, rest of the people should be upstairs'.
Upstairs people dragging the chair over and around floor til after midnight - no idea why!!

The entire hotel needs renovations. The room was missing the hair dryer from the wall and so I had to go buy one and spend money on that. Hotel was clean but in desperate need of renovations! The staff were not that nice and you had to inquire about room service and they had limited towels and wash cloths so you had to wait each day for clean ones. Overall just not that great of a hotel.

The mgmt here sucks. I booked through Expedia when I went to check in they told me $100 deposited to be paid. I didn’t have it so they wouldn’t let me check in. I ask about a refund they said talk to Expedia. The next day I called Expedia they had to call the hotel and they told the m they would not give me a refund ended up get $27 back after paying $67 and didn’t even che k in. Sorry way to do business. It look like a slum ville special snyway

Unfortunately my husband and I didn’t have a nice experience at this hotel. The staff was not friendly at all. The hotel wasn’t cleaned. The room smelled liked urine. Out in the parking people had loud music, trash on the floor and smelled really and like people urine there. We also saw a couple in the parking lot having sexual intimacy. Not a good experience at all. Thank you.

It was decent, cheapest on Expedia at booking but found better after check-in. I asked for extra towels coz there were only 2 in the room and it was my wife and I and our 2 kids, said I had to turn the others in first and then could only give me one extra. I just spent allot on vacation I don't need to steal your 50 cent towels dude, get real.

The property is in a great location. Food options were great with a Walmart across the street. Super convenient.

The room was decent. It was bare minimum room however does not live up to the standards that I was accustomed with other Extended Stay America properties. I found the room to be noisy from outside traffic and slamming doors through the night.

I think the hotel is fine for a single night. If staying multiple nights there are better options in the same area and they are equal to or slightly more than this location. The room reminds me of a hospital room. Make sure to bring slippers for the room.

Just don’t do it.

In the room above us it sounded like they were going from one end of the room to the other stomping around, I called the front desk and they said they would take care of it and it stopped for about 30 minutes and back to the same thing until about 12:30 am. Whoever it was decided they would wake up at 4:30 am doing the same thing all over again. They did not take care of the issue and we lost sleep trying to enjoy ourselves on vacation. You pay a refundable deposit, no big deal but are told that the deposit will stay pending and once you check out it will clear, it has fully processed and I will be calling first thing in the morning to get it resolved. There was a cockroach in the bathroom tub which was absolutely disgusting and when you check out, apparently you only hand over your key and walk out but when you get your final receipt it shows you checked out late when I’m sure surveillance cameras will show me handing my keys to the front desk more than 30 minutes prior to check out. I would never recommend staying here and if you do stay on the top floor away from everyone.

If you’re looking for a cheap place that’s not to fancy or extraordinary to spend a few nights honestly not to bad the staff is very friendly and helpful but the hallways do have a strange smell to them. Apart from that smell everything was as expected the rooms were simple and clean.

My stay with the Extended Stay in Panama/Callaway Florida was absolutely a wonderful experience.
First of all it’s CLEAN!!!!
Everyone that works there is friendly, helpful and the GM Jenny is AWESOME!!
I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, I needed to stay for 2 weeks, it totally met my needs with a stove top, microwave wave and full size fridge in my room plus a laundry in the Hotel!

Clean convenient. I've stayed at ESA before - this was the first one that had an additional charge for kitchen items. Luckily I'm also camping so I didn't need anything. Also, there are only 2 hard chairs in the room. No comfortable chair to sit. But good if you're on a budget.

I like the fact the room was clean but you didnt see housekeeping all weekend. For such a \"new\" building, the elevator is shaky & even got stuck, the bed feels like it's going to collapse, the faucet in the tub moves freely and the area around the hotel just seems so unsafe. The office staff seems friendly.

I hate that i have to say this... the room was not great! The check in staff was super nice, but... when we went to our room, the door was open, and the bed was not completely made (almost like they didnt have a blanket and forgot to come back to finish the room) so i had to go back down and let the staff know... they were apologetic and gave us a new room... the room was clean, nothing spectacular... i have a weird complaint... there was half a roll of tp for a two night stay... no extra anywhere! And as an extrended stay, there was nothing in the kitchenette! No dishes, no glasses, nothing to cook with...

This was the worst experience i have ever had
I have never rented a room that did not have a coffee pot in it. The room was not clean there was sand all over the floor the was a major bug problem
But the worst part is that i told them we were traveling with pets so you think that they would realize that they needed to add a pet deposit. We were out on sunday 12/25 to be locked out of our room this was the most ridiculous outrageous thing

After driving for 16 plus hours you don't expect to be treated like this

I would not stay here again nor would i recommend it to anyone

Upon check in I was told that the 2 bed room I paid for was unavailable and I would have to take a 1 bed with a pullout loveseat. Within an hour of that the fire alarm went off and I had to evacuate the building. The bed frame and floor were dirty both had hairs, dust and dirt all over them. I was very unsatisfied with my stay.

Waste of time and money!!

One ofnthe worse places ive stayed at for my business trip with a coworker. The main desk attendant double charged for 1 room. Reservation was made for 2 rooms for 2 people. They ended up charging my coworker for his room. The bed was horrible on my back and very uncomfortable. The room had a mildew/mold smell. God forbid trying tk talk to someone at this location. Fromt desk is closed till late morning and don't bother calling because no one will answer.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!

After 15hrs in my car my daughter and I arrived at Woodsprings. We were ready to shower, eat and get some good sleep. I was supposed to arrive on Saturday (I already paid for my room for the week on the app prior to arrival) I called that Thursday before the trip and explained some family issues might delay my arrival Saturday. I might arrive on time Saturday or at the latest Monday morning. I was assured my room was safe and would be waiting and ready whenever I arrived. That was not the case at all, my room was given to someone else and they only had a room with one bed (I booked a double) I was not pleased but said I would take it my daughter and I could share a bed (not ideal but at this point I’m exhausted and ready to relax!) the front desk clerk said they would move my room the next day to a double. I said no! I want to unpack and settle, I’m not moving. She looked back in the computer and magically a double appeared! Finished checking in and up to the 3rd floor we went. Got to the room and there was a pet magnet on the door, weird I thought but ok. I opened the door and a man’s voiced said who’s there and a big dog came charging at us from the bed! I shut the door quick and went back to the front and asked for a refund to say I was heated is an understatement!! Our safety was compromised! The lady took notes of the incident, refunded me and we left! No one from corporate or management at Woodsprings ever reached out to me about the incident.

“Roach Motel”

The hotel seemed to be pretty much new from the looks, check in was good other than finding out if you need extra linens it would be a charge. The location doesn’t have an ice machine so you have to bring your own,they don’t have coffee pots or breakfast, and they don’t provide pots, plates or any type of eating utensils that should be listed on the website so you will know beforehand so I suggest bring dishes from home cause you will be shopping for some.Also our room had roaches, it seemed as if they might have just had the place exterminated because they were falling dead. This was our first time staying here and I don’t see us returning.
Some of the staff were friendly but others had bad attitudes!!!!!!

This property was a bare minimum place. No amenities at all. If you need new sheets it will cost money. If you need utensils it will cost money. Everything had a fee attached to it. So if you are staying awhile you should bring everything! It was a quiet hotel though. The area is in a good location as well
