It appears the hotel caters mainly to group tourists and families from Germany. It gets very crowded during breakfast buffet.

There are only two small elevators. Waiting time during peak times can take 15 or more minutes. Elevator doors are aggressive and shut on guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the beach and right by a bus stop, which made getting to and from the airport and city center super easy. The hotel itself was nice and clean, and the breakfast offered a great variety each morning. The only downside was the sound isolation—we could hear quite a bit from neighboring rooms. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Hotel Cabellero was a lovely, clean hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The main reception, toilets and bar areas are lovely, clean and plenty of space/seats. Only issue I found was that the kids pool was too deep for my son. However, pool area is lovely & clean. Food & drinks are reasonably priced and taste good. Unfortunately we were unable to check out late due to the hotel being so busy, however, they do have a room downstairs, where you can leave your luggage, shower & change - with a hair dryer too, which is free of charge.There are lockers to store hand luggage that costs €2. Our room was located in the new building, and was beautiful. Great size and very clean. The shower was big and had good water pressure. They provide lovely packages of shower gel, body cream and other extras. There was a safe but I didn’t use this, and a small fridge. The fridge worked but wasn’t cold enough for my preference. That me just being picky. TV in the room worked, however, it doesn’t link to the internet so was unable to use my Netflix etc. WiFi is available throughout the hotel, and for the size of the hotel, it works really fast. The only let down was the restaurant. We were half board. Breakfast was good - large variety. However, dinner was bit disappointing. There was a good variety of food, just some plates were bit bland. But that is the only negative part to the hotel. However, there are plenty of restaurants around the area. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

Perfect stay to explore Mallorca

Great location and modern hotel. Close to shops and restaurants. We had a suite and the room was amazing with view to the garden and pool. Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious but can be very crowded at the restaurant. We would like to stay again at this hotel.

Disappointing sums up my stay. Staff at check in ignored me when I arrived and when they did decide to check me in they were unfriendly and didn't provide any information about the property/amenities or where to go for the included meals etc. The aircon didn't work. The worst thing was the bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on. I asked at reception for an extra duvet to make it more comfortable but when I went to ask at reception they were rude and said they were too busy so would send one to my room and it took over an hour to arrive. Some of the staff were nice but they did not make up for the staff who were rude. Overall I would describe the hotel as average so if you like a hard bed and don't expect helpful staff and get a cheap deal it would probably be ok but I won't be staying there again as it definitely doesn't deserve its 4 star status.

The property is nice in appearance and clean; however some maintenance on details and also cleanings of areas surrounding the pool is required
The members of staff are really polite and keen to help in any way.
The cocktails are nice.
The food is the worst we ever had! Never tasted anything of this kind before and the wine is overpriced but not good at all!
The cutleries, dishes are not properly cleaned; some of them were still dirty and also with water left, simply disgusting
The standard of the restaurant not adequate for a 4 star hotel.
We were upgraded to a nice room towards the pool; however the usb on the right of the bed didn’t work and we couldn’t recharge one of our mobile. All sockets are shucko and we couldn’t plug our adapter for my hair dryer since the air dryer within the ensuite is really ridiculous! Again not for a 4 star hotel. We contacted the receptionist to request an adapter and we were told they didn’t had one and when we checked out I was explaining to the receptionist who in all answer told me addios! Yes addios! And good luck to whom enters those doors if you are use to the standards of proper 4-5 star hotel

Staff were friendly, turn down service daily is a nice touch. My only con is the walls are so thin at least on the first floor. FYI you will need 10 euros for towels (refundable). Walking distance to the beach however getting to town you can take the 25 bus but it was full every time we tried to wait for it and taxis to town are between 18-30 euros.

Single beds pushed together supposedly to make it a ‘Double Room’ useless ( they travelled) and poor mattresses. Noise from other rooms and corridors at night due to poor build quality soiled our room experience. Very clean however. Good location.

Brilliant stay!

My husband and I were in Mallorca for a wedding and then extended our stay for a holiday. The hotel was lovely, very clean, staff were friendly and a great pool area (sun beds were a bit uncomfortable though!). We loved being so close to the beach and it was great having so many bars and restaurants a short walk away.

I was put in room 144 (1st floor) right next to the stairs and all day and night I could hear people on the landing next to my room and going up and down the stairs.

And I also could hear banging, heavy footsteps and beds being pushed around the room by the people in the room above me. My room was definitely NOT sound proofed as advertised so it made me not enjoy my stay at all as I hardly got any sleep.

I arrived around 10pm at night and after hearing all the noise during the first night, asked to be moved and was told the hotel is full, so I had to endure 4 nights of noise disturbance.

Other than that, I enjoyed the food, amenities and everything else at the hotel.

The sauna and steam are perpetually cold and the staff is unwilling to do anything to correct. Nice little fitness room. The hall carpets look like they have not been cleaned for years and the clientele is the type that likely spews god knows what on them. Rowdy crowds from Germany. The breakfast is about the best we saw in two weeks of Spanish hotels. Awesome. Beware they charge 20 bucks to use their antiquated room safe. This is an old property. The area is perfect and also quieter than most. The cleaning staff was great. Great pools and pool bar. I enjoyed it despite the few glitches.

We booked two rooms for 8 days. The rooms were smaller than we expected. However, they are clean and it was a great gesture to have complementary water and chocolates everyday.
Our only issue was that the air conditioning in our room was not as good as my children’s. Although we mentioned the problem a few times unfortunately they were not able to fix it.
A good breakfast variety, pool food was ok especially the fries. We had dinner once at the hotel and children absolutely loved it. Hotel pools were not as clean as it should have been but considering the number of people staying at the hotel in the month of August, the conditions were acceptable.
5 mins walk to the beach and all other restaurants nearby.

After the last couple of years we felt we needed a little bit of R&R. The hotel did not disappoint. We booked a junior suite and were very happy with our room, which was a good size & kept very clean throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable and the room kept cool (the outside temperature was between mid to late 30s). The proximity to the pool was a bonus too. The staff were all friendly and made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was good and the bar food reasonably priced and tasty. The hotel is close to the beach and if you want to venture out for dinner is close to a number of good restaurants and bars. Less than a couple of minutes walk to bus stop serving both Palma and the airport makes day trips easy too. We had a lovely stay and have come home feeling very relaxed.

Pool areas were amazing, although indoor pool a bit small, breakfast was a bit disappointing but evening meal was good. Staff all spoke English (and German) and were very friendly and helpful. Bar was excellent and the drinks were very good. Room was comfortable, if a bit smaller than we’d assumed, and we had a bit of a sea view with our balcony which was a bonus. Excellent location - very close to the beach, a Spar, and bus stops which you could use to get to the airport and Palma, which was very useful.

Einfach toll. Frühstück und Abendessen waren unglaublich. Grosse Auswahl und alles im Preis enthalten. Jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer ordentlich aufgeräumt, ohne Beanstandungen. Eine super Bar vorhanden mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern und grosser Terrasse mit schwimming Pool. Vom Balkon,auf dem geraucht werden darf, hat man eine gute Aussicht auf die Berge und das Meer. Der Strand liegt nur 100 Meter entfernt. In der Nähe gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und cafeterías. Die Bushaltestelle nach Palma gleich um die Ecke. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.

The hotel is very comfortable and well situated for those who want to be on the main beach. We rented bikes and reached downtown in less than an hour, all along the riviera. The food was excellent. The staff very helpful and kind. Would love to go back.

Cleaners and waitresses are very friendly and helpful. Reception staff and management seemed rather cold with us. We stayed here for 12 days and management said hello once from the entrance of the dining hall, where they were everyday saying hello to other guests.

When checking in at reception, the staff spoke little English and made no effort to inform us of the facilities and amenities on offer at the hotel, never mind a map or introduction to the area and public transport!

Food is delicious and a good range, I think a bit more of a varied range would be better though.

We stayed in the old rooms (non-superior) and overall it was clean but there was a lot of dust and I cleaned the air-con, ceiling fan, balcony and bedside tables myself!
The bathroom was like a dark and dingy prison cell!
The walls are very thing and we heard everything our neighbouring guests were doing…

Two small elevators available which are just not enough for all the guests. A lot of frustration was felt due to this matter from ourselves and other guests especially those with luggage.

Pool areas are great, minus the same album playing on repeat, tormenting the sunbathers, including myself. For god sake change the music regularly!

There was barely any entertainment or night life in the hotel. When there was it was barely lit up as if they didn’t want people to come to begin with.

Dining room got VERY busy and crowded at times, often at full capacity.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hotel Caballero. The beds were very comfortable, breakfast delicious with a wide variety of food and staff very friendly and helpful. Pool is a good size with enough sun beds and umbrellas to choose from. While only 2 minutes walk to the beach it is set back far enough to allow for a quiet and peaceful stay. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Friends short holiday

It was very good stay, room quite nice , maybe a little bit small for 2 people plus you can hear people next door , I was missing having possibily to have tea or coffee in room,very friendly staff , good food with great choice,I would stay there again.

Excellent location, barely 5 minutes wLk to beautiful beach. Lovely pool area with plenty of sun beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast and evening dinner. WiFi not very good.

Not good for a 4 Star Hotel

Beds were Twins and v uncomfortable for a 4* @£1000 per week
'Side' Sea view was barely there
A/C room fans either too hot or too cold needs modernising
Pool bar food was not good
Breakfast extensive but repetitive and the breakfast room a bit depressing
