This hotel offered an exceptionally good location close to the beach, the city and the airport. It worked especially well for traveling with my mother, who has limited mobility. The hotel was laid out to allow her to enjoy access the beach and neighboring shops and restaurants. The art in this hotel was also well curated and the overall design of the rooms and public spaces made this an exceptionally enjoyable experience. Bravo.

The hotel was really nice. As soon as you walk in you’re met with a friendly welcome, lovely cool air con and a stylish entrance area. The staff were helpful and friendly. The beach is literally on the doorstep. The buffet breakfast and dinner (half board) are good with themed evenings. The rooms are styled simply with comfortable beds and cleaned daily. Hiring a car via the hotel front desk was super easy. A lovely hotel, would recommend.

Most amazing place to stay - on the beach - very safe, clean. Can just sit in the lobby area, by the pool side or just get the towels from the reception and walk 1 min to the beach. My family loved the stay. In a blink we would booker this place if we travel again. Highly recommended. Another good part were the Indian restaurant and the Sandwich place - and for those who love steak - that’s next door too. I miss the stay personally - wished had more nights to stay.

The area was accessible to public transport and was only 15 mins to the town of palma and costs 2 euros each way. It costs 20 euros from the airport. The hotel rooms were clean and had a nice view of the sea. The staff were friendly and happy to help. We came in April so the pool was very cold but we still had a great time. The buffet breakfast was delicious, they had a lot of options, and every night they had a themed dinner. Overall, our stay was excellent. Happy to recommend to family and friends.

Lots of gorgeous pools!! Rooftop pool for a dip at cocktail hour, lap pool for serious swimmers, kids' pool and a huge and deep main pool surrounded by lots of sun-bathing and well-shaded chaises for relaxing.

This hotel has a good location next to the beach with multiple options for meals and things to do nearby. My only complaint is the lack of a coffee maker in the room. That is a $20 per day surcharge unless you have a premium room. Also, no facial tissues to blow your nose,only toilet paper. The staff is friendly enough With helpful suggestions on activities nearby.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was self service but there was a good choice. Bathroom had a frosted glass door with gaps which may not suit those that are embarrassed easily. Guests upstairs could be heard especially when they are heavy footed and like moving furniture at 3am. We found that it we needed to cover the shower plug with a towel and also close the sink plug to prevent sewerage smells from entering the room. Apart from these niggles we had a very pleasant stay and thought that the roof top pool and bar was wonderful. Would definitely go back.

Hotel Location was really good because it had the swimming pool and it was really close to the beach. Room were nice and clean. Service was okaish but not the best I ever had. I know that there is a pandemic going on and understand the countries have different rules and regulation but I left the hotel and the only thing that I remember is word \"no\".
We wanted to exchange our used towels for the pool and it was 30 minutes before the actually time that you could and I got no answer because it wasn't the time.
At the first night we arrived before midnight, we asked to buy some water for the room and it was after midnight, reception send us to a supermarket for water because they stopped serving on the bar which is wrong because if the supermarket that send us was close too.
Normally, I don't tend to book all-inclusive/half boards but I decided to book this time. That was a mistake because the food was not good at all. The buffets were always cold and they were bland or over seasoned. They had different themes every night which excited us but when we tried the food was absolutely disgusting. Our first night was Spanish themed and we were thinking, they are going to make it look and taste beautifully but instead it was a dried piece of fish/meat or a dried bland paella.
Breakfast was cold and not good at all. Oily and not fresh at all.
The rooms dont come with any amenities apart from towels and soap/shampoo.

It was closed and I was not notified prior to my arrival. I was dropped at the barricaded front door without notice that the hotel was closed. I very SMALL 3/5 postcard was on the door stating my reservations had been forwarded to HM Fiesta ... have a brief walk on us. At the HM Fiesta, I was not on the dinner \"list\" and could not eat in the Hotel ... never did figure that one out. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
The HM Fiesta was a beautiful hotel, spotless rooms but not happy about all of the confusion around the reserations.

The third time I stayed at this hotel. No record of previous stays, no upgrade or nice welcome. Most of the staff are unhappy and moody. Everything you ask for, seems an inconvenience... Evening entertainment very poor. We were all inclusive, which clearly means sub-standard spirits and cocktails. Only the pay as you go customers get the quality spirits and the smile! Very disappointing.

Really nice hotel in the more quiet and calm end of Platja de Palma. Only downside was that the AC seemed to be in winter mode as the coldest setting made the room warmer than not turning it on. Had to sleep with the balcony door slightly open. Breakfast and service was great.

Nice hotel with poor service

The location of the hotel is really good, lots of bars and restaurant around and a 15mins bus to the city centre. Also the food was good. But the size of rooms are small. If you do not have the premium package which cost 20 Euro/night you wont get any thing in the room, it means no Towels, slippers, no water boiling and coffee maker, tooth brush, almost nothing. We were upset with no having these equipments, therefore we upgraded the room to the premium package. The room on the 7th floor had a really good view to the sea. Another thing to mention is that during our 6 nights stay, it happens 2times that cleaning staff did not clean the room.

The hotel was very squared away, pool, bar restaurant were all very nice. They let us keep our bags in storage after checking out, and we were also able to use the showers etc so we could get a full beach day in before our night flight. The vibe was more for older people and families, not a party hotel.

Wonderful stay in Mallorca

HM Tropical was a short distance away from Palma but a welcome change from the fast pace of the city. The interior and facilities were very clean and modern. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffett was exceptional and we looked forward to it every morning. Unlimited mimosas!

The all inclusive is terrible.

The all inclusive is shocking where drinks and service is concerned I dont think they realised we have paid upfront for the service as staff only serve paying customers you do not recieve the same drinks even the coffee comes out of a different machine and is terrible. The food was just alright. The hotel is clean but to be a 4 star rating you would expect more far better hotels for the cost of this hotel would never go back.

We were very impressed with this hotel and the excellent service we received from all staff. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the usual facilities necessary for a good holiday.
The sea view from our room on the sixth floor was exceptional, providing a panoramic vista of the beautiful coastline.
The restaurant was very good with an extensive choice at both breakfast and dinner.
We will return in the future and would thoroughly recommended.

However we found that facilities were limited - gym is small, no indoor pool, no in room tea/coffee facilities, English TV channels are limited and food was OK but not great. Nice hotel, with comfortable rooms, and generally good views overlooking the pool and the beach.
Has a nice swimming pool, but is also literally just on the beach - so you can choose either, although most would prefer the beach.

Nice, paved pedestrianised road leading all the way to S. Arenal beach - so quite a long stretch of beach with nice eating places, some with excellent sangria.

Highly recommended.

A Special Birthday Treat in a Beautiful Hotel

Spent 3 nights on an all-inclusive basis at the HM Tropical Hotel, celebrating my 50th birthday with 2 friends. The staff were excellent, all very friendly and accommodating. The food in the hotel was very good indeed. We opted to pay the extra for a full sea view room, which we decided was a good decision, as we relaxed on our balcony. I loved the decor in the hotel - uber trendy, all white with really lovely lighting. The rooms whilst quite small, were spotlessly clean and the ensuite shower room was very funky with the frosted glass paneling.

Hotel is nice but the coffee on the all inclusive package needs to improve as it was poor although the food was excellent. Moreover, the front entrance is open to the public so anyone can enter the downstairs pool area, it should be gated so that only guests can use the entrance with the Hotel pass key card used for the rooms I felt like I had to keep an eye on my valuables all the time as anyone from the street could have stolen them if left unguarded. Finally only German or European TV channels save for BBC world ehwn at least the normal BBC or ITV channel could be available for UK guests.

Beautiful hotel in paradise

We went and stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and were so upset to leave!! The hotel is really lovely especially the lobby and bar area. The art and decor really was beautiful and very trendy. The staff were so friendly and really helpful when giving recommendations about where to go and what to do. If you're renting a car and staying here I would definitely recommend taking a trip to Cala pi beach it's beyond stunning!

Nice hotel close to the beach.

The hotel is great. Super-modern thing is pretty cool. Little details are off -- I'm not sure the physical plant is managed to a fault. Our sink was clogged. Paint is peeling. etc. And the wife offering is a disaster -- only one device per room can be on at the time. And getting on requires a type of gymnastics I had never encountered. But all in all, a really cool place and great location, assuming you like S'Arenal and it's boardwalk-y vibe.

Was unable to use hotel carpark, we had to park on main road. Only had to English channels on TV. No room service. Varied selection for breakfast but was somewhat poor in quality. In the hotel the multigym and cross trainer were broken and the treadmill was barely functional. Unable to use Wi-Fi in the room (unless paid for), public areas also require payment for use.

Great location. The Hotel isn't five star but newly renovated with beautiful views. Clean, safe and great staff. Upgrade to an ocean view as it is spectacular. If you cant get ocean view dont worry, the partial Ocean view on the pool side is great as well.

HORROR!

I can't even describe how dissappointed we are!
We stayed for 3 nights in HM Tropical (April 20-April 23).

Positive:
-Check in time is at 2pm but we got our room at 10am, as we got in an earlier flight. Definitely a plus!
-The Neighborhood has a lot to offer:restaurants, the beach, nightlife, a lot of bus connection going to the city.

Negative: (this will be a long list)
-They are renovating!!! Understandable that some hotels are old so they renovate. But the noise even started already at 8AM!!!
-The walls and doors are so thin, you can even hear your neighbor room take a bath or flash the toilette. (this was really annoying, especially some people flush or take a shower in the middle of the night)
-The television didnt work and it took about 2 hrs until the handy man came and repaired it.
-The toilette did not flush a few times, we had to take the garbage can and fill it with water just to flush. Minutes or Hours later it worked again.
-Since they are renovating, one out of two elevators wasnt functioning. They were still repairing it.
-Breakfast buffet on the first day it was amazing! but they served the same stuff on the 2nd, the 3rd and the 4th day. (exactly the same!!)
-As to cleanliness, i was not impressed at all. It was all white so it did look tidy. But if you take a closer look, the tables, the chairs were already worn off!

Nice clean hotel on the long promenade right across a nice sandy beach. Maybe due to the season it was also not crowded at the beach so we had plenty of space to relax. Hotel is clean, quick check-in and helpful staff. Only thing worth mentioning as a con is wifi is not free and have to pay for in room safe. Both should be free as I travel frequently all over the world and these things are part of the standard package. Hotel is very close to airport, taxi costs around 17euros each way. Breakfast was ok, felt a little repettitive so they can try introducing new things every other day. There were no olives served for example, in Spain you expect to see some Spanish olives served. They gave us a very nice room facing the sea so will be going back and asking for the same room.

Would recommend nice room and bathroom , good breakfast and dinner although if you don't like pig you are going to find it tough. Don't get ripped off by the drinks , they make u buy water if u are half board and not take it from the water machine! It's a con because they reuse glass bottles and refill them with water (saw the guy at the bar doing it) they then serve these bottles with a plastic cork and charge stupid money for it. We smuggled a bottle of water in every night . Risky but I was not gettin ripped off!

Good location - very close to beach and only €17 back to the airport by taxi. Also a bus stop nearby. We had a great room closest to beach with views out over the sea. All staff we encountered were great, especially Begona (I think) on reception and the breakfast staff. Plenty of outside space and plenty of space in the bar/lounge. We will be back.

Good value on the beach

This hotel was a very nice clean hotel right on the beach in Playa de Palma and accesible by the 21 bus to the airport, and 15 and 25 lines to downtown Palma. Beach is right out front, and is a bit less crowded than further down (East) on the Playa. The hotel caters primarily to Germans, and it was generally older couples there at the time. We were just about the only English speakers, but the staff really liked it when we spoke Spanish, and recognized us by name. The hotel has a good key drop system where you leave the key at the front desk whenever you head out, and they give it back whenever you return. The keys also have a special card on them that you have to insert in a slot by the door in order to turn on the power in the room. Rooms were clean if a bit spartan. Single beds only. Balcony is nice. Ask for 4th or 5th floor on the pool side. Breakfast is provided, and we tried the half-board option where dinner is included too, and it was pretty decent food, albeit somewhat catered to German tastes. There were activities and social events, but we didn't fit in with the crowd, so we did our own thing exploring the island instead of hanging at the hotel. Internet is about 5 euro a day if you get the full week.

Beautiful

The hotel was perfect, close to the beach, shops and bars. The pool area faces the sea and is perfect for lazing. The food was good and plenty of it and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Good bus links to the centre of Palma where there are great links all over the island. If you like cycling there are rentals available and a new cycle path runs right into the city. You can't fail to have a great time.

Perfect for short stays!

We spent only three nights in the hotel. It is in perfect location - approx. 10-15 minutes by bus 21 (every 1/2 hour; EUR2.5/person) from the airport while having rooms with a beach view. We were there in the beginning of May i.e. relatively quiet season. Half-board was a good choice. Can recommend!

Hotel for germans over 65 years!

The buffet was quite poor, and even having half board we had to pay for all soft drinks! Coffee in the buffet was a disaster, but even to get this terrible coffee we had to stand in line, because there is only coffee machine! And if you want to get a normal expresso, of course you have pay for it in the bar. Having a really nice sea view, we had problems with sleeping, 'cause the pillows were really smal and uncomfortable, and blankets were also in a very poor condition. The staff was very nice. Majority of guests are Germans of age over 65, so if you you are young, it is not the right place for you!

Personal sehr freundlich. Wir kommen seit Jahren in das Hotel. Leider wird nicht viel dafür getan, dass es instand bleibt. Wir mussten 3x den Handwerker rufen, da unsere Balkontür nicht schloss, dementsprechend auch die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte.
Frühstück ist ok. Poolwasser extrem kalt. Kinder dürfen nicht drin spielen, nur schwimmen. Lage natürlich Top. Preis-Leistung mittlerweile fraglich.

Hotell like ved flyplassen, som er sbvært praktisk. Hotellet har høy kvalitet med godt uteanlegg med solsenger og basseng og bare 50 meter til stranden.
Rommene var ikke store, men fin balkong, gode møbler og godt renhold. Eneste minus var at badet og WC var lite adskilt fra resten av riommet, med bare en enkel glassvegg og glassdør. Frokost var utmerket med stor variasjon og mange retter laget på stedet av kokkene. Middagsbuffeen varierte fra dag til dag og var utmerket og av høy kvalitet. Spesielt likte vi den asiatiske kveldsmenyen og at det var lokal mat fra MAllorca, men alle middagene var tilfredsstillende.

Das Hotel ist modern und gehoben. Für 3 Personen sind die Zimmer etwas zu klein, aber schön eingerichtet und sauber. Das Meer und der saubere Strand sind direkt gegenüber. Insgesamt ist es in der Anlage sehr ruhig für alle, die Erholung und keine Party suchen. Es gibt keine Animation, dafür fußläufig genügend Ausgehmöglichkeiten. Einmal bekamen wir das falsche Essen serviert und einmal wurden die bestellten Getränke falsch abgerechnet. Das Personal hat darauf aber zügig und professionell reagiert. Also hin und wieder die Rechnung lieber genauer anschauen. ;-)

Posizione perfetta sul mare a 20 metri dalla spiaggia, buona colazione, ampia piscina attrezzata e comodo parcheggio interno per soli 10 euro al giorno . Sul tetto zona bar con piscina e vista sul tramonto, personale gentilissimo e disponibile le stanze però sono molto piccole anche se dotate di un bel balcone, per 2 persone sono al limite ma come tripla nel nostro caso molto complicato gestirsi. Consigliato più per una coppia. Cibo ottimo e vario, infine con un po di adattamento agli spazi e' stato un bel soggiorno

La gentilezza del staff, soprattutto nel ristorante Caty e Neus bravissime! Cibo ottimo! Nonostante siamo arrivati dopo delle 23 ci aspettavano con la cena perché avevamo preso la mezza pensione, brava anche la ragazza dell’Uruguay che ci ha fatto il check in, molto disponibile. La location vicino alla spiaggia, a tanti negozi e ristoranti nell’intorno, piscina bellissima! La camera vista mare! Che era una vista mozzafiato! Più che Consigliato!

Die Nähe zum Strand war super. Auch der Meerblick war einfach wunderschön. Die Auswahl der Speisen war groß und die Gerichte waren sehr lecker. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet, allerdings gab es gewisse Kleinigkeiten, wie zum Beispiel eine sehr schwache Toilettenspülung oder ein mangelhafter Duschkopf.
Trotzdem würde ich jederzeit wieder zu Besuch kommen.
Vielen lieben Dank für die kleine Aufmerksamkeit zu meinem Geburtstag (Sekt).

Not a place for a return stay

The hotel has in parts rather the character of a youth hostel and not of a 4 Star hotel. The rooms are very simple and the coffee at breakfast is undrinkable.
Service personell is friendly and the access to the beach convenient. The surroundings of the hotel are not very inviting.

Wenn man den seitlichen Meerblick nahe der Straße hat, ist es laut. Vorteil des seitlichen Meerblicks: ab 13:00h keine Sonne mehr, somit mittags nicht zu heiß auf dem Balkon.
