Amazing beachfront location! Great swimming pool, with affordable decent drinks served. Very clean, cleaning crew made sure all is neat and sand free :) breakfast OK, coffee could be worked on but still OK. Dinners - great, plenty of choice, something different each night. Drinks for dinner are not free but still very affordable. Amazing chefs on the grill!
We had small issue with bathroom equipment, hair dryer is poor quality and tends to pull hair in, not big issue on summer holidays, but could be improved.

In general, great stay for family summer trip.

This property was in a convenient and accessible location to the city center and the beach. The room had a beautiful views to the beach, sunrises and sunsets which could be seen from the balcony, comfortable beds, a decent size room with a large closet. The dining staff, and the chefs were friendly, and attentive to the guests needs especially Ivan. You're treated like a family member and not a guest. Breakfast was freshly made from omelets, eggs, fresh fruit, bacon, a smorgasbord of food which could be enjoyed sitting at a covered outdoor patio near the pool enjoying nature. Sumit and the others at the front desk were always helpful, attentive to guests needs, making sure you had what you needed. They provide excursions around the island which is convenient and will help you make arrangements to get a cab to you destination. The bar tenders were always making sure that your cocktail needs were met and your glasses refilled. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure you had a wonderful stay. The rooms were meticulously cleaned and beds made on a daily basis. This felt like a classy resort. Entertainment is provided a few nights a week. They should provide nightly themed entertainment and/or possibly a DJ. Thank you everyone for making my stay so stress free, enjoyable and for treating me like I was a family member and not a stranger. You won't be disappointed with anything by staying here so book your stay and enjoy your vacation. I'll be back to see my family again.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous stay at HSM Golden Playa. Fantastic location opposite the beach and very easy to get into Palma on the bus which stops outside the hotel and runs every 15 mins. Just two euros each way but make sure you have the right change!
Staff at HSM are all incredibly efficient and the daily maid service superb. Our junior suite overlooked the the beach and the views were amazing.
Everywhere is spotlessly clean - foyer, dining room and pool area - and the bar staff are particularly friendly.
We look forward to a return visit…

Great stay!

We had a lovely time at HSM, the staff made the experience almost a perfect holiday. They were extremely accommodating to us and with our 10 month old, always welcoming, chatty and full of energy. Ines, Heidy and Antonia at the restaurant were always chatty and helpful, especially with our daughter. Sumit on reception was very helpful, even when we had a small issue with our room, he sorted it before we knew it but also always saying hello and being helpful. The staff make the hotel what it is!

We would only say that the restaurant could have more food choices but otherwise, no issues at all. Rooms were clean and areas of the hotel were, swimming pool area was nice and clean. Perfect location, on the beach and close to amenities as well as a short 10/15 min journey to Palma city (by taxi).

We really enjoyed the stay here and the hotel is literally on the beach which we wanted! Very close to the airport but no noise from the plane! The staff was brilling including the staff from bar (Aliz, Claudia, Alex) and the ladies from cleaning Valentina and Marga thank you so much! Breakfast had a lot of choice and same for dinner and restaurant personnel super friendly! Our 1 year old baby and us had a great time!

Never stayed in this part of the resort before I usually stay in Can pastilla at either the Helios or Las Arenas.
I was not disappointed by this hotel it was absolutely superb, we had a sea view which was spectacular, the patio area was as big as my bedroom at home! The food choice for both breakfast & dinner was great. We stayed here 4 nights then moved to the Helios for 3. Cant recommend enough!

Myself, son and daughter (15&19) booked a triple room at GP and we had room 211 which is facing next doors hotel pool and the beach. It was a lovely big room with twin beds and a camp bed. The twins were very comfortable although the camp bed was very squeaky and not suitable for my son.
The room had plenty of hanging space and cupboard space for three adults, a small fridge and a large mirror. The AC was very good. The balcony was large with table and chairs and a drying line. It was in the sun all morning.
The bathroom was a good size too with a huge walk in shower, plenty of hot water at any time of the day and a powerful shower head.

The hotel itself was only a 10 minute taxi ride from Palma airport and cost €20, it did not look very nice from the outside but once you got into the reception area it is light and airy and very minimal and modern. The reception staff were always really helpful especially Thomas who is a hive of knowledge. It is a quiet hotel, no bar scene at all, it was a shame as the bar area is beautiful and could benefit with some cool lounge music at least, but it was empty and dead.
During the day there are loads of sun beds at whatever time you come down to get one and loads of umbrellas. The vibe is very relaxed and quiet, no music is played and there were very few children.
There is a little hut by the pool filled to the brim with inflatables and beach umbrellas which I thought was a fab touch!

We are English but Expedia failed to warn us that the hotel would be 99% full of Germans. Therefore, we had no-one to speak to and make friends with, as people do on holiday, at the breakfast and dinner table. Also, all the food was German food, disgusting for a hotel which is welcoming English guests. We had paid for half board but the food was that bad that we ate out half the time! One of the things on your list of hotel amenities was not working, this was the jacussi, which my wife was very much looking forward to using. We asked several times at front desk when it would be repaired but on each occasion were told they were waiting for the engineer to come. Come the end of our week we were looking forward to coming home. Not what you would call a happy holiday.

lovely staff, Always on hand - knowledgeable and helpful. Arrived very late sandwiches and a drink in the room - Room overlooking the sea was really appreciated. Food in 'half-board' deal was excellent - fresh with lots of choice - would stay here again for sure.

Trevligt hotell

Ett trevligt och lagom stort hotell precis i början på stranden där det är ganska lugnt. Gott om utbud av restauranger åt båda hållen. Busshållplats utanför dörren.
Att tänka på är att rummen vetter både åt väster och öster vilket innebär att rummen mot poolen får en väldigt varm balkong på eftermiddagen. Vi hade dock rum åt andra hållet så vi fick kika på grannhotellets pool istället men slapp då gassande sol på eftermiddagen. Poolområdet var trevligt och när vi var där så var det inte problem med att få solstolar. En mysig avsats där det fanns bord och stolar där man kunde ta en kaffe eller drink och sitta och titta på förbipasserande. Matsalen och maten var dock inte samma standard som resten av hotellet utan en ganska ordinär hotellmatsal. Men vi åt där några gånger och man blev mätt. Några gånger var det kvällsunderhållning på hotellet som var helt ok men för den som vill ha lite mer fart och dans så får man gå utanför hötellet.

Es war sehr schön und ruhig. Es gibt gute Restaurants in der Umgebung, Strand direkt vor dem Hotel. Nur wenige Minuten mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen und der Stadt. Insgesamt war es einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Ich würde es jeder weiterempfehlen.

Le personnel est au top, en salle où à l'accueil, 2 personnes sur 3 à l'accueil parlaient français, spécial remerciement à Sandra qui était vraiment adorable.

La chambre était superbe avec vue sur mer (junior suite). Seul bémol sur les lits, pas très confortables car on se retrouve vite en mode cuvette, (lits 1 place collés) donc si mal au dos ça n'arrange rien.

Propreté de l'établissement au top du top.

Bus à 1 min à pied pour rejoindre Palma centre en une 20aine de min. Super pratique. Beaucoup de commerces autour, et plage en face de l'hôtel c'est top!

Malheureusement il y avait le bruit des gens dans les chambres annexes qui marchent comme des éléphants ou parlaient très fort, les portes qui claquent très fort, les bruits des chaises aussi sur les balcons qui résonnent beaucoup. C'est dommage car sans cela l'hôtel serait parfait sur tous les points.

L’hôtel est très bien situé, avec une magnifique vue sur la mer, juste en face et les bus à proximité.
Notre chambre était spacieuse, propre et confortable.
Le personnel est adorable que ce soit à l’accueil, au bar, au resto, les femmes de chambre…
Le buffet du matin et du soir sont variés et proposent un grand choix.
Le seul bémol concerne les lits, un matelas trop mou et un très dur, effacé par le ressenti global très positif.
En résumé nous y avons passé un très bon séjour.

- Zustand des Zimmers für 285€ / Nacht ist lächerlich: Minifernseher, Flecken am Parkett, Parkett färbt auf Socken ab, Fugen im Bad aufgebrochen, schlechtes Shampoo, schlechte Schallabdichtung nach draußen (Schiebetüren)
- Musik am Dach bis in die Mitternacht beim Nachbarhotel HM Tropical
- Teilweise (2) arrogante Restaurantmitarbeiter im Service

Ich habe schon in Hotels übernachtet, die mehr als das doppelte günstiger waren als HSM Playa und einen freundlicheren Zugang zu ihren Gästen hatten. Hier hat man das Gefühl, dass man als Gast bestraft wird, wenn man etwas in Anspruch nehmen will.

Fint och rent hotell nära stranden. Fint poolområde. Vi bodde i rum med terass och havsutsikt. Mycket fint rum men sängen var hård och undrrmålig. Det som skulle göra att hotellet får högre betyg är fler grönsaker till frukosten ( tex gurka, sallad och paprika) kaffe möjlighet på rummet samt vatten vid ankomst.

Var nødt til at opgradere for at få seaview, havde booket delvis seaview. -andet var ikke ledigt.
-Men beliggende på 1. Sal og direkte udkig til andet hotels pool, var dette nødvendigt.

Hotellet er i fin stand, dufter dejligt, skønt personale.


-Men 4 stjernet hotel, vil jeg aldrig kalde det.


Spartansk indrettet, blot sæbe på badeværelse, små håndklæder, ingen vand som velkomst i en suite. Hårde senge!
Træningscenter ingen håndklæder eller papir til at spritte af.

Jeg vil booke det for en strandferie tæt på palma: -men ikke for hotellet faciliteter.
